GRACE IN THE MIDST OF THE FIRE!

As a Christian believer, have you experienced real pain...pain that can't be put into words...pain that no matter how masculine you are, only hot boiling tears can express?

Yes,there are some pains that are so overwhelming that we are tempted to shove the Cross aside. Having been in it for a better part of my life, and still in it, without giving up,by His Grace and Mercy, I can boldly tell you, though it isn't easy, THERE'S GOD'S GRACE RIGHT THERE BY YOU, IF YOU DECIDE TO SEE IT!

Quitting your Faith is what the devil expects, but YOU AIN'T GOING TO GIVE hIM THAT SATISFACTION.

Indeed, there are some fires that most fervent believers are passing through today, that are worse off than Nebuchadnezzar's fire. But because, much of it today is spiritual, many will not understand.

As a believer,I must admit that, oftentimes I feel it isn't just worth it, but such thoughts aren't for Christians. I say this because, I know that God is working in my trials and I do believe He has a purpose. But truly, there are days when I struggle to see beyond the pain and, in my humanity, my present feelings cloud my eternal perspective. But some how, I see the GRACE,and I survive the moment.

Some days...I want to be rescued, rather than sustained. That's why we're flesh and blood.

Remember this, it doesn't matter how blazing the FIRE, He Meets Us There. His GRACE is there to sustain us. Don't bulge... don't yield! He never fails. When our heart grows weary and we feel like giving up the fight, the Spirit draws near, carries us through those moments, and as fix our gaze on Him and cry out to Him, we are gradually infused with a fresh sense of hope and perseverance to trust the One who rules over the length and heat of the fire.

He will do that for you today as you re-read Proverbs 17:3...“Gold is put in the fire because it is gold.” It sounds so obvious. But it holds far more meaning than it may seem at face value.

You and I are not in the fire to be burned, but to be refined. And He only refines His treasures...that which carries great value and worth in His Eyes. Yes, to be rescued would be temporary relief, but to be refined is a lasting blessing that cannot be lost or taken when the next fire comes.

I ask, have you prayed for a miracle and wonder why God has allowed your trial to continue? Have you seen other’s situations improve while yours only seem to worsen?

Remember this...God only refines that which He Loves. And to add insult to injury, the enemy often unleashes on those whom God sees worth refining because they are a greater threat to him than those who are drunk with comfort.

If God rescues you (which He sometimes does), it shows the world His Power to change circumstances at His Word. But if He doesn’t, and we choose to serve and trust Him anyway, it shows the world His Power to change a heart...a heart that loves Him above all else.

Many people (even non-believers) can make sense of our joy over an answered prayer and improved circumstances. And it’s often easy to attribute earthly reasons for why or how our changed circumstances came about.

But to the one who continues to endure hardship with a heart that is “sorrowful yet always rejoicing,” there is no earthly explanation for it. It causes us to stop and wonder when someone GROWS in character, peace, perseverance, contentment, hope, strength, and joy in circumstances that should naturally destroy those very things.

He Stands With You and I.
Brethren, I pray you will be encouraged to press on today...not because you’re strong or resilient enough to endure the flames, but because if you have been chosen in the furnace of affliction, Rather than standing over us with the fire of condemnation (which we all deserve), Christ Jesus stands with you and I, and HE is strong enough to not only endure the flames, but to bring you forth as gold through them. And they will not last a moment longer than HE deems necessary.

    Charles Spurgeon wrote;

“You often think that Christ Jesus does not care because He has not interposed with a great miracle. Gradually you are getting poorer or becoming more afflicted in body. My dear friend, sometimes God works a greater wonder when He sustains people in trouble than by delivering them. To let the bush burn with fire and not be consumed (Ex. 3:2) is a greater thing than quenching the flame and saving the bush.”

May our lives bear such testimony. Eternal Life is worth all the Fires of this world. And remember, HIS GRACE IS WITH US IN THE MIDST OF THE FIRE!

  • From Concept to Competence: Six Essential Steps to Microlearning Success | MaxLearn
The world of corporate training is defined by the need for speed, precision, and demonstrable return on investment (ROI). In high-pressure, constantly evolving fields like Finance, Health care, and Pharma, outdated, lengthy training sessions are a liability. The solution lies in microlearning, an agile strategy that delivers maximum knowledge with minimum disruption.

However, simply cutting videos into smaller pieces won't guarantee success. Achieving microlearning mastery—where training consistently drives measurable competence—requires a structured, six-step blueprint. By following this framework and utilizing cutting-edge Microlearning Tools, organizations can effectively upskill their workforce and future-proof their operations across every industry.
Step 1: Define the Atomic Learning Outcome
The foundation of microlearning success is specificity. Before developing any content, you must identify the singular, actionable objective for each module.

Rule of One: Each snippet, typically 2-10 minutes long, should teach one concept, answer one question, or enable one task. For a Banking team, this means separating "Identifying a Suspicious Transaction" from "Logging a Compliance Report."

Contextual Relevance: The objective must be immediately useful to the learner's role, ensuring that the Microlearning Courses are perceived as a critical job aid, not just mandatory training. This is vital for complex operations in Mining or regulatory adherence in Insurance.
Step 2: Build the Specialized Tool Stack
Microlearning demands specialized technology designed for speed and scale. Generic systems will slow down deployment and limit engagement.

Creation Tools: Invest in dedicated Microlearning Authoring Tools or integrated Microlearning Software. These platforms allow Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to quickly transform raw knowledge into diverse, interactive formats (quizzes, simulations, short videos).

The AI Accelerator: To maximize efficiency, deploy an AI-powered Authoring Tool. This technology can analyze your existing, large-format content—such as new safety protocols for Oil and Gas or technical specifications for Pharma—and automatically generate the structure and initial content for new micro-modules, drastically shortening the time to market for crucial training.
Step 3: Ensure Seamless Mobile Delivery
Microlearning is useless if it's not accessible at the moment of need. Success hinges on a robust, mobile-first delivery system.

Centralized Hub: Utilize a powerful Microlearning Platform or a specialized Microlearning LMS to manage and track all your content. This provides a single source of truth and ensures consistency across a geographically dispersed workforce.

Instant Access: The content must be delivered via a high-quality Microlearning Application. This mobile interface allows a manager in Retail to access a policy refresher on the sales floor or a paramedic in Health care to quickly review a procedural step on a tablet.
    Step 4: Implement Intelligent Personalization
To achieve maximum efficiency, training must be adaptive and targeted. Generic content wastes time and breeds complacency.

Data-Driven Paths: Deploy an AI-Powered Learning Platform. This intelligent system monitors individual performance, quiz scores, and job role requirements to create adaptive learning pathways.

Targeted Remediation: If the system detects a recurring knowledge gap in a specific area—say, compliance reporting for a team in Finance—it automatically triggers a targeted Microlearning Course to the affected individuals. This ensures that every minute spent learning is focused on closing a verified skill gap.
Step 5: Design for Active Recall and Engagement
Passive watching is not learning. Microlearning must be designed to engage the brain through active retrieval practice.

Interactive Design: Integrate frequent, low-stakes activities like gamified quizzes, scenario-based questions, and drag-and-drop exercises. These interactions, delivered through your Microlearning Platforms, force the learner to recall and apply the information immediately.

Spaced Repetition: Use the platform’s features to reinforce critical Microlearning Courses over time. By spacing out the repetition, you effectively "flatten" the forgetting curve, ensuring long-term retention of key skills and procedures.
Step 6: Measure Competence and Business Impact
The ultimate measure of microlearning success is its impact on the organization. L&D must prove that the training directly drives positive business outcomes.

Correlate Learning with KPIs: Use the analytics provided by your Microlearning Software to link training data with operational metrics: Did compliance training reduce audit errors? Did sales training increase product knowledge scores? Did safety modules reduce incidents in the field?

Secure Buy-in: By demonstrating a tangible ROI—faster upskilling, reduced errors, and improved efficiency—L&D secures executive buy-in and ensures that the microlearning strategy is viewed as a mission-critical investment, not just an expense.

By following these six steps, any organization can successfully transition from outdated training models to a dynamic, efficient, and performance-boosting microlearning ecosystem.

  • FROM THE EARTHLY SHEPHERD'S DIARY!

WHEN GOD IS SILENT! (FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE)

I've countless first hand experiences of how it feels when your life is in turmoil, and as (at least a devoted believers, from personal assessment), we pray and GOD DOESN'T JUST SEEM TO BE THERE.

Many who aren't surrounded by the right kind of believers who understand the working and ways of God always give up at this point. I'm not an exception.

You see, THERE'S ACTUALLY NO SUPER CHRISTIAN ANYWHERE, WHO CAN FORCE DOWN GOD'S HAND! GOD ISN'T OBLIGATED TO ANSWER US WHENEVER WE PRAY. WE SHOULD LEARN TO ACCEPT THAT. HE IS THE SELF SUFFICIENT AND SELF SUSTAINING GOD. HE IS THE THREE *OMNIS*

    Of course,our entitlement is hinged on scriptures like;

The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. (Psa 34: 15)

The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. (Psa 34: 17)

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: (Mat 7: 7)

The Truth remains that God does answers prayer. But sometimes, God is silent. And this for a number of reasons...some of which we can only understand through revelations. *I SHOULD BE THE FIRST PROPONENT OF*GOD DOESN'T ANSWER PEOPLE'S PRAYERS,(BEING BEDRIDDEN FOR SEVEN YEARS AND PROBABLY STILL COUNTING)* AND THIS MEANS I'M ACCUSING GOD OF INJUSTICE...A VERY DANGEROUS PATH.

However, that narrative is from the devil, and he wants you to believe it... PLEASE DON'T. God answers prayers. Don't forget God has His Own Timeline and Ways.

You may earnestly seek God but, in return, only sense His silence. This silence can be difficult, frustrating, even excruciating.

If we're experiencing this, always remember we aren't alone...not the first, nor shall we be the last.

The Bible tells the story of a man named Job who was well acquainted with God’s silence. In his pain and suffering, he cried out to God. He asked for answers. And he kept asking.

But for the first 37 chapters of the Book of Job, his cries for God’s help and relief are met only by God’s deafening silence.

You will not always hear God’s voice, but the Book of Job can teach a few practical things to do when God seems silent.

    Examine Your Life
Begin by asking yourself, Is there any unconfessed sin in my life? Make sure nothing is blocking you from hearing God’s voice.

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: (Psa 66: 18)

This requires looking deeply at our lives.

Ask yourself: Is there anything (or anyone) I love more than God?

As God brings things to mind, ask for His forgiveness.

And remember, there is no shame in repentance. This act of faith pleases God and restores your fellowship with Him.

    Accept God’s Authority
Recognize that God can be silent. There is no obligation for God to answer you, inform you or let you know anything.

Like us, Job faced the choice of acknowledging or rejecting the authority of God. In response to his suffering and loss, even Job’s wife suggested he curse God and die.

Instead of following her advice, Job chose to let God be God.(Job 2:10)

Accepting God’s authority also means actively trusting God, realizing He is in control and can be trusted.

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. (Job 13: 15)

Nothing in Job’s life, or ours, happens outside God’s knowledge and plan. As we learn at the beginning of the Book of Job, God was fully aware of all the things that were about to happen to Job. In fact, He gave Satan permission to do these things in Job’s life. At no point does God release His control.

I remember telling us in one of our studies of a civil servant(a dedicated church worker) who was overdue for a car and prayed earnestly for it. Even his colleagues have all been given cars on a soft PAYE arrangement, but he wasn't given.

The man changed prayers to *God,let Thy Will be done,* and never wavered in his commitment to God's service. Then he heard his aunt has died in the village, and went for the burial.

Three months after the aunt's burial, his boss called him into his office one morning and told him that he doesn't know why he has always been forgetting and handed over a set of car keys to him, that a brand new car covered with tarpaulin outside actually belongs to him. This car was supposed to be given to him when his co-staff got theirs...and his long overdue promotion letter was handed him that same morning.

At home, while appreciating God, He spoke. God told him that,if he had granted him the car earlier, it would have become his casket, that the late aunt swore that no one would drive a car in the family before her own children. God gave her time to repent, but she didn't and He removed her, in order to grant His faithful servant's request. The man received enlightenment.
    GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS.

Listen to What God Is Saying
Although God may seem silent regarding a specific request or petition, remember that He is in a constant state of communication with us.

In fact, it is possible that you already have an answer from God. The Bible is full of specific answers about what is right and wrong, as well as information about God’s character and His intention for His children and followers.

So don’t forget to dig into God’s Word...His written communication...to find out what He has to say about the problems you are facing or the questions you are asking.

As you read the Bible, ask God to speak to you through the Holy Spirit, who lives inside of Christians. Often, verses of Scripture can have new significance in light of current problems you are facing.

Recognize That Silence Can Be Intimate.
Silence can also be a sign of God’s trust in you.

The Gospel of John tells a story about Christ Jesus’ friends Lazarus, Mary and Martha. When Christ Jesus found out that Lazarus was ill, rather than rush to Lazarus’ house to heal him, He stayed where he was for two more days (John 11:6). And before Christ Jesus arrived in Bethany, Lazarus died.

To Lazarus’ sisters, Mary and Martha, Christ Jesus’ silence could have been interpreted as neglect...that He did not care about them or want to help them.

But Christ Jesus’ silence draws you, along with Mary and Martha, into a new closeness to God and understanding of His power. Four days after he died, Lazarus was raised from the dead by Christ Jesus, showing His power.

When you are completely comfortable with a person, it is possible to sit in a room together and not utter a word.

In love, silence can be a sign of intimacy.

    For Job, God’s silence was also a result of the depth of their relationship. When Satan approached God, God said;

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? (Job 1: 8)

God chose Job because He trusted him.

    Keep Talking to God
Just because God seems silent doesn’t mean you should doubt Him or stop praying.

God’s silence isn’t a license to turn our backs on Him. Instead, it’s an invitation to press forward and seek Him even more diligently.

    The psalmists modeled crying out to God. David said,;
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? (Job 1: 8)

O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. (Psa 22: 2)

Job also continually cries out to God, asking Him to answer.

    For 37 chapters of the Book of Job, God is silent. But in chapter 38, God answers and questions Job;

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. (Job 38: 4)

God is in control and has been all along. He heard Job’s cries for help. In trust, He waited for the perfect time to speak. Job was reminded:

Thus, dear friend, God answers prayer. Never give up. When He has dealt with every negative thing in our lives that will turn our testimonies into *sorrowmonies,* He will definitely answer us.

THERE ARE SO MANY OF US WHO HAVE BEEN LED ASTRAY BY GOD'S BLESSINGS, BECAUSE WE WEREN'T SPIRITUALLY MATURED ENOUGH TO HANDLE THEM. PLEASE, BE CAREFUL NOT BELONG TO THIS GROUP !

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS. 👉Listen to What God Is Saying Although God may seem silent regarding a specific request or petition, remember that He is in a constant state of communication with us. 👉Recognize That Silence Can Be Intimate. For Job, God’s silence was also a result of the depth of their relationship. When Satan approached God, God said; And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? (Job 1: 8) God chose Job because He trusted him. 👉Keep Talking to God Just because God seems silent doesn’t mean you should doubt Him or stop praying. God’s silence isn’t a license to turn our backs on Him. Instead, it’s an invitation to press forward and seek Him even more diligently. The psalmists modeled crying out to God. David said,; And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? (Job 1: 8) O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. (Psa 22: 2) Job also continually cries out to God, asking Him to answer. For 37 chapters of the Book of Job, God is silent. But in chapter 38, God answers and questions Job; Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. (Job 38: 4) God is in control and has been all along. He heard Job’s cries for help. In trust, He waited for the perfect time to speak. Job was reminded: Thus, dear friend, God answers prayer. PLEASE, BE CAREFUL NOT BELONG TO THIS GROUP 🙇🙏!

WALKED AWAY AS A DISCIPLE? NOT TOO LATE TO RETURN (JN. 21) (PART ONE)

I can't pretend that I'm not affected by this message. Yet I can't cover it up because of my guilt. Oh! What the vicissitudes of life has done to some believers !

We used to be so active in church and its activities, so excited to serve the Lord, but now we have faded... excitement dissipated. We used to want to walk closer and closer to Christ Jesus, going where He leads, but something happened, and now…

There's a true story from the book that we love, the Bible. It is the story of a man who did just that...walked away from the call, walked away from following Christ Jesus. Let us to look at his story as it runs alongside all of our stories whenever we begin to walk away from following Christ Jesus.

A man called by God, walks away from the call and gets into a boat and goes out on the sea. Eventually, the man jumps overboard into the sea and is brought out to dry land, where God restores to him his calling. This wonderful encounter is found John 21, beginning in verse 1.

    We've to pick some verses for some of us hardly open our Bibles;

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. (Joh 21: 3)

    5. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
    6. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
    7. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. (Joh 21: 5-7)

As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. (Joh 21: 9)

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (Joh 21: 17)

    21. Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
    22. Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. (Joh 21: 21-22)

We can walk away from being a disciple of Christ Jesus in small and in big ways.

In small ways, we start by saying there is something wrong with the conditions. Right now, it is just too hard to really follow Christ Jesus. I will when things change, when things look up. Right now, we are too isolated, work is too busy, the kids are too crazy, my life is too unsettled. Later, when things change, I can go back to following Christ Jesus.

In small ways, we start by saying there is something wrong with ourselves. I cannot do what Christ Jesus is saying, I can’t follow all of what He says. I am too young, too old, too weak, too broken, too lost, too tired, too busy, too me. If only I was more, then I could follow Christ Jesus.

Or, we can walk away from being a disciple in big ways. Those moments where you absolutely know that God is calling you to do something, to talk to someone, even to say ‘no’ to something. It’s like a fire in your bones, but you just say ‘No’ and go a different way.

This was my experience. Born into a highly polygamous family, I first took in the footsteps of my mother, the first and legal wife...a spirit filled believer that male chauvinism and a strict idol worship infested system couldn't allow to thrive. Christians in my place then were merely religious.

At first,I was equally fervently religious, and somewhere along the line,I discovered I inherited my Mom's gift, and others saw noticed it too, with ignorantly spoken words by me coming to pass and answers to prayers of healings.

But then, ugly things began to happen in my family that devastated but toughened me,not to endure for God,but on the contrary, I rebelled and walked away from Him despite the strong convictions. From a lamb,I became a tiger, dodged the Seminary I was already admitted into.

*FROM THE AGE OF 12 OR 13 TILL TODAY, I'VE NEVER REALLY EXPERIENCE HAPPINESS FOR A FULL MONTH. I WALKED,NAY, RAN AWAY FROM GOD!* I lost everyone and everything.

Well, I did experienced momentary Joy when God used my adorable wife to discover and rescue from the gutters, after I've been dumped to die a hopeless and shameful death.

*BUT,I HAD ALREADY WASTED AND LOST THE BEST OF MY LIFE TO ALCOHOLISM AND OTHER VICES...I WAS RESCUED BY GOD...YES,BUT THE SCARS REMAINED (ECC.12:1)*

This is where we find Peter at the beginning of our story this morning. He has walked away from the calling of God, walked away from being a disciple. For three years Peter had been the most passionate of the disciples, part of the inner circle. He was the one who boldly proclaimed that Christ Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of God.

He was the one who dared to speak when Christ Jesus stood transfigured on the mountain with Elijah and Moses, even when he didn’t know what he was saying. Peter was bold and passionate, always the first in.

Peter was the one who drew his sword when Christ Jesus was arrested and cut off the ear of the high priest’s servant. Peter was the one who told Christ Jesus he would rather die than ever deny Him.

But Peter was also the one who followed Christ Jesus into the courtyard after He was arrested. Peter was the one who, when asked, would claim he never knew Christ Jesus. Peter was the one who would call down curses on his own head as he swore he never even knew Christ Jesus.

Peter the disciple has denied he ever knew Christ Jesus. On Resurrection morning, Peter hears Mary Madgalene’s message that the tomb is empty and runs to it, entering the tomb, to find the linen cloths.

Peter has heard the testimony that Christ Jesus was raised from the dead, that He appeared to the disciples in the locked room. Peter has heard it all.

But what happens to Peter? What place is there with Christ Jesus for the one who denied he ever knew HIM? What happens to the disciple who walks away?

So Peter goes fishing. Gathered there together were Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathaniel of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will go with you.”

Peter goes fishing. He grew up a fisherman. In fact, Christ Jesus met Peter as he was fishing on this very sea. It was here that Christ Jesus called Peter and he left his nets to follow Him. But now Peter has gone back to the nets. He has gone back to life before he knew Christ Jesus.

He went back to something comfortable, something he knew. Ironically, it was even something close to what Christ Jesus had called him to, since He had told Peter that he would be a fisher of men. But when Peter gets on that boat, he is giving up and walking away from his role and calling as a disciple of Christ Jesus.

Likely he thinks his denial in the courtyard made him too broken or too weak to be a disciple. He had blown it too badly to ever come back.

So he leaves on a boat, headed in the opposite direction, headed away from Christ Jesus.

I remember beginning with the story of a man called by God, who walks away from the call and gets into a boat and goes out on the sea. Eventually, the man jumps overboard into the sea and is brought out to dry land, where God restores to him his calling. And there are large fish involved.

If you feel like you have heard this story before, perhaps you have. The story of Peter is also the story of Jonah. Jonah, the prophet called by God to go to Nineveh and proclaim God’s word to the nations. Peter, a disciple called by God to be a fisher of men. Jonah and Peter both turn their backs on the calling, get into boats and head out to sea. It is the same story, playing out again in Jonah and Peter and us.
