What [MineYourMind] didn't mention in his post earlier today is that we were at #WarsingDam in #NorthDakota when he found that medicinal wonder. To stay with the theme, here's a #BeautifulSkies shot I took while we were there. The free campsite we stayed at there was just outside of a small agricultural town. The #park was quite small too, but the RV spots were on a huge patch of mowed grass with the reservoir right in front of us, like beach front property. It was large enough for me to take the dogs out and get them all nice and tired, so they would hunker for the night in the RV. As you can see the landscape in middle North Dakota is quite a bit more flat that the Western portion. Here's another shot from the #RedCliffsWildlifeConservationArea. If you look closely, it looks like a dude lounging back just chilling as part of the outcropping towards the middle. If you look even harder, you can almost see a second one to the right using your imagination a little bit. The dirt road back to this spot was sketchy, but it was very worth the possibility of getting stuck. Here's another view from the #RedCliffsWildlifeConservationArea in Southwestern #Utah. The dark reds do really make the scenery pop. There was a city nearby, but it was tucked down pretty deep behind the Bluff that this area created where it started. We couldn't even see the lights, so all the stars in the night shy were bright and sharp. I'll share two images this time. In the last photo I shared from the #JuniperSpur Trailhead in the #BurningCoalVein section of the #LittleMissouriNationalGrasslands, [domino.the.cat] suggested that I should show a picture from the top of the conical shaped mound in the image. He was of course joking, because it doesn't look easily climbable by a mere human, though I did manage to get one myself, LMAO. Maybe I'll have to invite him on a trip, so I can strap a Gopro onto him. This is only half up actually, but close enough. Around the back of the mound is a pretty large rock formation that I did climb onto and just happened to get some great shots of the surrounding #scenery. You can see our RV parked at the #Trailhead where we decided to #camp out for the night.
