Have you heard about the event that has been held every third Thursday of November for over 40 years in France, in the Beaujolais region in the French wine region, located in the central part, north of Lyon?
This region is known for its long tradition of wine production from the Gama grape variety, as well as Chardonnay.
A particularly popular wine from this region is Beaujolais nuovo (fr. Beaujolais nouveau), a very young red wine that is released immediately after fermentation. Every third Thursday of November, this festival dedicated to wine is repeated year after year, spreading this beautiful, cheerful custom of waiting and drinking wine all over the world.

Precisely at midnight, thousands of liters of new vintage wine set off on the road, so that on that third Thursday of November, the wine would be at a certain destination. The barrels are never opened before that day. It is interesting that only a few weeks (7-9) pass from the harvesting of grapes, through fermentation, and the opening of the first barrel. Practically, it is the first wine made after the harvest, which usually takes place during the month of September and is done exclusively by hand, which is otherwise a characteristic of this famous wine region.

I received two bottles of this wine from a friend from France at the beginning of December 2022.
We opened one bottle before the New Year ewe (this is the cork of that bottle) and the second one is planned for tonight.
We will cool the young and drinkable red wine to 13°C in order to bring out the best aroma of fruity taste and serve it with several types of cheese: Camembert, Gorgonzola, Brie, with raisins, dried apricots and nuts as recommended by friends from France.

Starting the new year with a 3 day water fast, might do 5 if I feel up to it. Fasting is a great way to cleanse your body and get your mind focused as well. I need to get busy manifesting money $$ so I can get my girlfriend Lizle over here from South Africa and am willing to do whatever is in my means to make that happen.. even selling my vintage guitar amps! It’s all just stuff but she is someone I’m not going to miss out on being with, no matter what.
Took a break from posting and I’m going to try to keep posting regularly. Going to be selling stuff on eBay and Facebook and hopefully will generate the 3,000 US I need to get her here for a month’s visit.
Goals are good to start of the new year.
