Okay,we said that God didn't just in Hoses 4:6a declared for nothing that, His People(us, believers) perisheth for lack of knowledge. It's both true and painful...of course God will NEVER lie. And we stopped at one of the pathways to alignment... Ordination or Purpose. God is the lifter of Men, and will only lift those who work in His Purpose for them. It's not too late to discover our purpose and work in it. Once we do, speed will be natural, favour will be natural. Whatever we ask for in our place of prayer will come naturally, as long as the desires are in alignment with God's Purpose for us...Its furtherance. Now, we continue! 👉 CONSECRATION! Most of us see this as just coming out of sin. No, it's more than that. Or rather many of are taught that consecration is merely doing away with sin, thereby generalizing it. BUT, THE TRUTH IS THAT EVERY PURPOSE HAS ITS OWN CONSECRATION, AND IF WE DON'T DISCOVER IT AND ALIGN IT OUR PURPOSE, WE WILL STILL FAIL IT THE FULFILMENT OF OUR DESTINY. 👉Yes, we all have our different consecrations. One of the characteristics of consecration is that WE CANNOT SAY "YES" TO ALL GOOD THINGS. When we begin to rise in our God given Purpose, there are some CONSTRAINTS that God puts in place to checkmate us, that we may not deviate from our ordination(purpose). For instance, if you're a SAMPSON, don't cut your hair... don't visit the barber, you need long hairs to fulfill your ordination. Others can cut theirs, but you can't. It's not a sin to them, but it's different for you. Although there's a GENERAL consecration for all believers and that's PURITY... getting rid of all sins in our lives that we may come to the knowledge of the TRUTH AND SAVING GRACE OF GOD...this is non-negotiable. 👉Now hear this; Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every *WEIGHT,* and the *SIN* which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (Heb 12: 1) In the verse above, there are TWO KEY things we must lay aside...SIN AND WEIGHT. The sin is the purity (general consecration) and quite a number of believers have done this, but in the aspect of the weight, many of us are ignorant of, and therefore fail. Take note of one thing... THE WEIGHT IS THE PERSONAL CONSECRATION AND MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE SINFUL. These WEIGHTS, like I said may not be SINFUL, but God intentionally put them there for us so that we can REMAIN! Remain where? Remain in our ordination/Purpose. This is the personal consecration. For example, if your Purpose is teenagers evangelism, there is code of your former dressing styles, which are not necessarily SINFUL, but which you have to give up to REMAIN... consecration is a sacrifice on our part to declare, because God said it, I will obey it, even if it's not a sin to others. APOSTLE PAUL SAID, *ALL THINGS ARE LAWFUL TO ME,* BUT THOSE SAME THINGS MAY NOT BE NECESSARILY LAWFUL TO OTHERS! Like the instance I referred to above, 👆,if your ordination is as a sexual purity ambassador to teach the teenagers on how to live in sexual purity, God may tell you depending on your gender, you will not wear trousers, skimpy dresses, paint lips and fingers, wear all those pronounced earrings and bangles, look at me necklaces... It isn't because they are necessarily SINFUL, but God is barring you from them to remain in your Ordination. In essence, to enlighten us more on this, God is telling you there's a generation of teenagers I want to build through you, it's restricted to you... I want them to visit the patriarchs, the ancient landmarks, that these will not be lost on them in this Gen Z generation, I want them to have an impact of the ancient landmarks of Christianity, so that this Gen Z won't steal it from them , that they will be moulded in the ancient values of Christianity nonexistent in the Gen Z, and to do that, YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THESE THINGS, NOT ONLY BECAUSE I SEE THEM AS NOT BEFITTING IN YOUR ASSIGNMENT, BUT FOR YOU STAND FIRM IN THIS CALLING. And in circumstances like the aforementioned, if we're struggling with its obedience, telling ourselves it isn't a sin, pastors do it, believers do it, and so on and so forth, we are not working in our ordination, because we refused THE PERSONAL CONSECRATION... LAYING ASIDE THE *WEIGHTS* THAT WILL ENABLE US TO REMAIN STANDING. The devil knows this more than you and I, and like the slime that he is, is always suggesting ways and supplying self justification reasons why laying the weights aside isn't necessary as a believer who is already walking in purity... All so that your upliftment will not be fulfilled. 👉And this issue is so serious in the Heart of God, that He can be so meticulous in our lives about like... whether you are financially capable, He can chose to restrain us to two children, and if we disobey and go for the third one, and that third one can ruin our ordination. Yes, it's that Serious. No Word of God falls to the ground. Because your ordination and your consecration have told you the number of children you can have. Another example, He may have ordained you a financial apostle to finance the Kingdom business and projects all over, wherever it's needed, and your personal consecration(weights to lay aside) is, you must pay 30% tithes when others are paying 10%, and you begin to complain tithes isn't for Christians,etc, you are not walking in your Consecration. But God that asked you to do it, is doing something to you, to your life...WHAT CAN YOU LAY DOWN? When God begins to touch certain areas in our lives, don't do this, don't do that, pass this road, don't pass that road, IT'S BECAUSE THERE'S SOMETHING ATTACHED, WHICH IS OF COURSE TO OUR BENEFIT IF WE OBEY. We shall have to stop here for now...but we aren't through with this. We shall be back. So far, we have discussed Purpose and Consecration.
