Using chocolate and raisins that had been marinated in rum, I made a marble-style banana bread this time that was somewhat unique. Last weekend, our friends invited us over for a family barbecue. I baked them some chocolate and cherries cake, and they loved it. The cake was made of sweet potatoes, dried apricots, dried Medjool dates, eggs, coconut milk, raw cocoa powder, arrowroot powder, cherries, and coconut oil - simple ingredients for a complex flavour. ???????????????????? Knowing that they started adjusting their dietary habits last year—avoiding sugar, processed foods, and cereals containing gluten—made me incredibly happy. ????
