  • In Tianmen Mountain National Park, you can find the world's tallest natural arch.

There, at the pinnacle of the ascent, framed by the arch the suns radiant beams illuminate the 999 step, known as "the Stairway to Heaven"

This is my entry for Hiveopenmic week 165. A cover titled how great thou art by @fasacity.
I chose this song because it really ministered to me and also synchronised with the theme for the week.
When I think about God's creatures, the birds, the seas etc I marvelled. His natural act is just amazing and awesome. I'm really in love with whatever God has done.
He doesn't make mistakes like human being.
Everything about Him is perfect and can't be questioned.
The best way I can respond to God's love for my life is to sing of his greatness, majesty, splendor etc. In fact I am part of the nature he has made therefore I ought to give him glory/victory he deserves.
God has given man the earth to dominate, multiply and take charge over everything. What you love is what you cherish. What you love is what you adore. What you love is what you exalt.
My voice is still a challenge but I am optimistic that consistency and persistence would pave way for me someone day therefore kindly drop constructive criticism to spur me and mould me to be better.
    Lyrics
O Lord my God, When I, in awesome wonder,
    Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
    Chorus:
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
When through the woods and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Esta es mi entrada para la semana 165 de Hiveopenmic. Un cover titulado how great thou art de @fasacity.
    Considero todos los mundos que Tus Manos han hecho;
Veo las estrellas, Oigo los truenos,
Tu poder se despliega por todo el universo.
    Estribillo:
Entonces canta mi alma, Mi Dios Salvador, a Ti,
Qué grande eres, qué grande eres.
Entonces canta mi alma, mi Dios Salvador, a Ti,

Bopath Falls is located in the village of Agalwatta in the Ratnapura District of Sri Lanka. The Kuru River, a tributary of the Black River, cascades down 30 meters (95 feet) high through a narrow opening from the top of a mountain at one point in her journey. The name 'Bopath Ella' is derived from the fact that the stream collapses in the form of a Bo leaf when there is good water. The first body of water, which falls through a narrow opening, then expands, reminiscent of the shape of a palm leaf.

Unawatuna, a coastal town situated in the Southern part of Sri Lanka in Galle district is well known for its beautiful beaches and corals.
The mythical and legendary backdrop of Unawatuna can be dug out from the epic discourse "Ramayana" by Valmiki. Hanuman, who was a warrier-monkey with super powers had been advised to bring five rare medicinal plants from Himalaya ( India) in order to cure Lakshman, who visited Srilanka to save an abducted princess called Sita.
Even though Hanuman went back to India to find the medicinal plants he was unable to identify them and brought back a large part of the mountain Himalaya and dropped it in Sri Lanka, in the place where we identify as Unawatuna today. An alternative mythical story suggests that a prince who was shipwrecked reached the shore of Unawatuna with the help of the goddess Manimekalai.
Though he was challenged by the fire which goddess Pattini set on the ground, he managed to create a Tsunami and reached Unawatuna. He has lived there for a long period of time.

The colonial period of the country marks several milestones with regard to Unawatuna. The houses and other apartments built by the Dutch in this area include the Nooit Gadacht Hotel, Unawatuna Hospital and Maharambe.
The Galle lighthouse or Edward's Pillar is known to be a fake lighthouse built during the first world war at Rumassala hill which is located in this area.

Unawatuna being rich in its biodiversity, is popular for its mangrove growth, the vast variety of birds (such as egrets, sandpipers, herons, terns and kingfishes) and also for the coral reef which attracts divers. Even though the Unawatuna beach was attacked by Tsunami in 2004, it is still listed down as one of the best 100 beaches on earth.

So, if you are planning on your journey to Sri Lanka, never think twice to write down Unawatuna beach-town as a must-visit!

  • Mt. Binacayan

Here is Mount Binacayan. I first came here in 2018 with my brother and his wife. This is now my second time. I climbed this mountain last 15 April this year with our Pastor and the youth in the church.

Mount Binacayan is 424 meters tall above sea level and is suitable for beginning mountaineers. The mountain is located in the municipality of Rodriguez province of Rizal where more than seven mountains can be found. It is also home to the famous and lovely Wawa Dam which attracts the attention of many outdoor enthusiasts.

Reaching the top of Mount Binacayan, you will have an enjoyable sight of the beauty of the Wawa River and the Sierra Madre mountain range.

This is me when I reached the top of the mountain. You can see the sun is in the palm of my hand.

Reaching the peak, I could not describe how I feel.
The two-hour trail isn’t easy, but it’s worth it. It’s rocky and the stones are sharp.

    The Side of the Mountain

That's the wear on the side of the rocks. My husband said it’s like a "Lord of the Rings passage."

    Thanks for your time!
