There, the NAME "CHRISTIAN" was birthed and regarded as the title, the identity and profile of these new crop of believers. Since I revisited the goal last night,my mind has been subjected to self ridicule and criticism, and rightly so too. WE HAVE DEVOTED MORE OF OUR TIME, ENGAGING ONE ANOTHER,IN SCRIPTURAL INTELLECTUAL CONFLICTS, ABOUT THINGS THAT GOD MAY NOT WANT US TO BOTHER ABOUT AT THE MOMENT! I don't know about you reading this,but for me,we are extremely far from God's expectations for us. Can we fit into that description above? WHERE,OUR INPUT AND OUTPUT IDENTIFIES US AS CHRISTIANS,AND NOT OUR MOUTHS! With all the obvious signs pointing to the impending turbulence ahead,we are still comfortable playing *church and religion*. Logically,one of the most heart wrenching death,is dying the death that you could have easily prevented or avoided. But,died all the same, because of our stubbornness. This is our position today as believers. Pharaoh saw clearly,the handwriting on the wall,but pride led him to an avoidable death. And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed? (Exo 10: 7) The scriptures are rife with accounts of those who had an opportunity to *change their fortune*,but eventually preferred the *praises of men*! God,in HIS INFINITE MERCY AND GRACE, continues to unveil and expose the devil's antics,we would still not hearken to HIS WARNINGS, instead we get entangled more in the pursuit of trivialities... mundane lusts that will deny us *ETERNAL REST*. Must we be like Judas Iscariot? Take an example from the king and citizens of Nineveh...who hearkened to God's warnings and saved themselves. Let's hear from apostle Peter; 10. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12. Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? (2Pe 3: 10-12) Listen, brethrens,the same way God doesn't fail on HIS promises,the same way HE doesn't fail on HIS punishment of disobedience. Samaria and Judah NEVER believed God will allow those they termed the *uncircumcised* to burn HIS Temple down. But,HE did! Don't forget HE allowed the Philistines to capture HIS ARK,to send a message to Priest Eli and sons led Israel. So, church building owners, continue to compete for whose worship centre will be the largest and more modern,to the detriment of salvation of souls. Establish schools, hospitals,banks and whatever,that the less privileged in the church wouldn't even be able to access. Business structures,in the name of Evangelism. How many*Genuine Souls*,have all these facilities added to church?(please, I know what I mean). God didn't call us to be LANDLORDS ON EARTH,NO..WE ARE TENANTS ON EARTH! We are only PRACTICING HERE ON EARTH,HOW WE SHALL LIVE IN THE NEW LIFE, GOD HAS PREPARED FOR US! That's why Peter said, everything we are beholding today,will be reduced to rubble. Yet,we still don't care. We are more concerned with our physical body than with our souls and spirits... pitiable indeed. If the place of worship was a top priority for God, Solomon's temple wouldn't have been burnt down. BY ALL STANDARDS, NO CURRENT BUILDER CAN EVER BUILD ANYTHING CLOSE TO SOLOMON'S TEMPLE, THAT WAS LAID WITH THE MOST EXPENSIVE GOLD, IN AND OUT! THE BUILDING ISN'T WHAT GOD IS AFTER...HIS PRIORITY IS THE QUALITY (FIRST) OF THE WORSHIPPERS, BEFORE THE QUANTITY! I hope someone understands this. We are in injury time..time is fast running out..all the signs are indicative of all Christ Jesus told us in HIS WORD! Listen to this; 1. Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2. After TWO DAYS will he REVIVE US: in the THIRD DAY he will RAISE US up, and we shall LIVE in HIS SIGHT. ALACRITY ON THE EVE OF THE IMMINENT HARROWING STORM! ============================= UNCERTAINTY PERVADES THE LAND; BENCH *THEOLOGY*,AND PLAY *SALVATION!🙏 ============================== Tonight, I may just be attracting a *war of attrition* upon myself,but I ain't deterred. All I claim is fairness from my would be critics! Today, there's no dull brain that cannot understand that, there's a radical shift from the usual to the usual. I refused to call it a *paradigm shift*, because it's much more worse than that. Every singularity of events have pointed and continue to point to the *signs of the end*, every Christian ought be abreast of. Yet, conspicuously, God's shepherds are laughing it off,being carried away by the serpentine doctrine of liberty,which that cruelly crafty wizard of wizards has used in draining away every element of seriousness and watchfulness from us christians. Oh yes, just like in Eden, he has sought to practically reduce Christendom to mere religion. But thanks to our Christ Jesus, the gates of hell can NEVER EVER PREVAIL AGAINST HIS CHURCH, AMEN 🙏! WE NEED TO RE STRATEGIZE, SHELVE FANCY TEACHINGS, AND CONCENTRATE ON ONLY THE SIMPLE SALVATION MESSAGE! In most worship centres today, that still retain some conscience,they will go to the Bible,dig out a strange word,eg, SELAH, and make it a sermon(not message),for the next four months or more. In these our times now, that's no longer needed..we have heard enough of Theology...and it's no longer helping matters. ALMOST EVERYONE IS CURRENTLY A PROFESSOR OF THEOLOGY AND SCRIPTURAL INTERPRETATIONS, WITHOUT A CORRESPONDING IMPACT IN OUR LIVES. Now is the time to preach,teach,sing,pray and act Christ Jesus crucified, period. Let it become an ANTHEM! Let us focus more on the price paid by Christ Jesus to redeem us, and what HE expects from us. CHURCH BUILDING CONTRACTS,you can't do a tiny fraction of what Solomon did..yet God allowed it to be destroyed...a Temple,he sacrificed a thousand rams to dedicate...when disobedience pervaded it,God allowed the very people Israel calls *uncircumcised* to turn it to rubbles... perhaps you still remember the captured *ARK OF THE COVENANT*! Can't we learn? God's top priority isn't the smokescreen *CATHEDRALS*,and the attendant trappings,eg,schools, hospitals,banks,housing units,etc,that even a greater membership of the church has no access to.
