His father’s White Van is the potential vehicle of interest from the Trump Assassination and could have played a role as a “team van” for the Tactical Training Club to get to the Clairton Sportsmen’s Club as a group on a regular basis. The van that was towed had Arizona plates like Maxwell Yearick’s father’s White Van, and Butler, PA is a long way from Pennsylvania. Arizona plates would be noticable and memorable in Pennsylvania on any of the shooter trips to Clairton. In any case, the digital footprints released by Senator Ron Johnson didn’t just jive with Crooks's home and work, with seven locations mysteriously redacted by the Oversight Project. The “Team Van” theory would accommodate these seven additional locations if they were other team members of the Clairton Tactical Training Pilot Progam, which began in August 2023. A SERT (State Emergency Response Team) officer resembling Kennon Hooper is also filmed shortly after the aftermath of the Trump Assassination. The woman in this picture, a close associate of both Hooper and Yearick, died suddenly in 2021. The jury of the American Public (and people all over the world) will demonstrate various physical models; I feel it is important to find very similar models in full scale for “courtroom demonstrations,” not computer animations. Hey Steve Kirsch, Sars-Cov-2 is Still a Fraud and Your Genome Argument is a Disingenuous Sham The Health Freedom Movement's clown prince is at it again. Anthony Colpo Kirsch is back on the warpath. Humiliated after his admission that he relied entirely on the word of ‘experts’ as proof that Sars-Cov-2 had been isolated, he has now found salvation for himself and the rest of Team Pandemic. Or so he thinks. First, a little history. Kirsch insists Sars-Cov-2 is real, even though it has never been isolated by anything that even begins to resemble sound science. Kirsch has repeatedly refused to acknowledge the inherent absurdities in the viral ‘isolation’ charade. He has been informed repeatedly of these absurdities - but he flatly refuses to listen. More precisely, he doesn’t want to listen. Kirsch is Not a Very Clever Guy Kirsch likes to promote himself as a “pretty clever guy,” but he’s not. Kirsch advertised his scientific ineptitude back in January 2022 when he posted this terribly lame attempt at rebutting the no-virus argument. Kirsch’s post was titled “Has the virus been isolated? Yes.” Kirsch knows the virus has been isolated because … he doesn’t. Turns out Kirsch doesn’t have a clue about viral isolation. His knowledge of virology is as deficient as his stock-picking skills. Kirsch asked out aloud in his post: "Do these isolates have other stuff in them? How were they created?” The response? “I don’t know because I haven’t analyzed them personally. But my scientist friends seem happy with them." Thanks Steve. I love it when my dishonest critics reveal they have no clue what they’re talking about. "I rely on expert opinions of people who I trust for certain issues like whether or not the virus has been 'isolated.' It’s a reasonable approach if you are careful about which experts you trust." Among the ‘experts’ Kirsch ‘carefully’ trusts is the perennially angry, DARPA-funded, victim-narcissist Robert Malone, who apparently is such a genius that after observing how mRNA technology was still unfit for human use, allowed himself to be injected twice with it. Except that he didn’t, according to travelling partner Steven Hatfill. Yep, Kirsch sure knows how to pick his experts. Kirsch is Back on the Virus Warpath We all had a good laugh at Kirsch’s expense after his self-debunking “I rely on the experts” post. Kirsch, however, doesn’t like being laughed at. His ego demands that he be admired and revered as a really smart guy. So he got together with his ‘expert’ friends and plotted his rebuttal. Stevie Meets With His Masters “Steve,” said his ‘expert’ handler friend David Rockefelon III, “you’ll never win the no-virus argument by trying to claim the virus has been physically isolated - because it hasn’t.” “So what do I do?,” asked Kirsch. “In Davos, we have a saying,” chimed Rectal Swab. “If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit!” “I’m not sure I follow,” said a befuddled Kirsch. It was at this point that Gill Bates interjected. “Steve, you need to start posting articles about gene sequencing.” “Gene sequencing?” asked a perplexed Kirsch. “What’s that?” “Exactly,” replied Baron Badchild the 58th. “Most people don’t have a clue about genomics, so that’s where you need to steer the argument.” “You need to distract people from the fact that the virus has never been isolated. You are instead going to baffle them with the genome argument.” “How do I do that?” asked Kirsch. On June 14, 2024, he posted an article titled “How can millions of people, all exhibiting signs of COVID have whole genome sequences that match the SARS-CoV-2 reference genome if viruses don't exist?” The article, of course, made no mention that the alleged ‘genome’ of Sars-Cov-2 is a pseudoscientific farce. The article made no mention of the fact that the Sars-Cov-2 genome was not obtained by ‘deconstructing’ an actual virus, but created on a computer using the ‘sequencing’ ruse. Tiny, incomplete nucleotide sequences were fed into a computer, which was then allowed to create a 30,000-character genome. That’s like pulling off a tire, fanbelt and seat belt from a Volkswagen, feeding their details into a computer, and being told you have a Porsche. I’ll repeat it again, in case anyone doesn’t comprehend what I just wrote, because it is of critical importance: There is no such thing as a Sars-Cov-2 genome that was analyzed and documented after taking a Sars-Cov-2 virion and breaking it down into its constituent nucleotides. That has never been done, because Sars-Cov-2 has never been isolated. You can’t dismantle something that doesn’t exist. You can, however, take bits of something that does already exist, feed them into a computer, and allow it to construct an in silico ‘genome.’ You set the parameters for both the in silico reconstruction and the accompanying PCR test to be sufficiently non-specific, so that millions of people exhibiting symptoms of cold and influenza and also millions of asymptomatic people exhibiting symptoms of nothing will miraculously have 'whole genome sequences' that match the 'Sars-CoV-2 reference genome.' Using ‘approved’ methods and test kits, of course. That’s why ‘Sars-Cov-2’ can be detected in fluid and blood samples taken from volunteers long before December 2019, which is when ‘Sars-Cov-2’ allegedly first appeared in the Chinese city of Wuhan. It explains why this supposedly ‘novel coronavirus’ was able to be detected in blood samples obtained in Mexico and Italy as far back as 2018, even though the official narrative has Sars-Cov-2 kicking off its World Domination Tour in early 2020. The non-specificity of the sequencing and testing charades also explains why it’s not just people with the sniffles and asymptomatic folks that miraculously show these 'whole genome sequences.' Papaya, quail and goat can also test positive for Sars-CoV-2! Heck, even sewerage floating through Catalonian caca pipes in March 2019 has tested positive for the Woohoo virus. "This striking finding," wrote the researchers who tested the Barcelona wastewater samples, "indicates circulation of the virus in Barcelona long before the report of any COVID-19 case worldwide." That’s because the nucleotide sequences that trigger a positive result for the presence of ‘Sars-Cov-2’ are not from a ‘novel virus’ - they are a common and preexisting phenomenon. Kirsch, of course, mentions none of this. His false bravado is in full swing when he again proposes another monetary challenge, this time a $10,000 bounty to anyone who can prove Sars-Cov-2 does not exist. NEWS FLASH: We don’t need to disprove the existence of a negative, Kirsch. If someone claims there are invisible goblins living under their kitchen table, no-one is obliged to prove them wrong. The onus is on the person issuing the unlikely claim to prove there are indeed invisible little people residing in their kitchen. Similarly, it’s up to those who claim the existence of a ‘novel’ and uber-deadly virus to prove its existence. So far, they’ve failed miserably. Taking gobs of phlegm from people with atypical pneumonia, mixing them with antibiotics, culture medium and bovine fetal serum is not isolation - its anti-isolation! Mixing this porqueria with African green monkey kidney cells - which can be relied upon to predictably deform in the presence of kidney-toxic antibiotics - is not proof that there is a pathogenic virus in the mix. It’s simply proof that virology has about as much credibility as witchcraft. Heck, the Doherty researchers who loudly proclaimed they isolated ‘Sars-Cov-2’ from the first Australian case admit in their paper the patient healed just fine with low-flow oxygen and antibiotics - which are for bacteria, not viruses! He was not suffering ‘COVID’, he was a pneumonia patient - no doubt one of many strategically flown around the world to help kick off the worldwide ‘isolation’ wank. I’ve already explained all this in detail here and here, so can I have my $10,000 now? Oh, wait, Steve Kirsch is a self-aggrandizing liar who has no intention of ever paying out on his challenges. Kirsch loves the rush of bravado and admiration he receives when he issues a bold challenge, but his “I’m a pretty clever guy” ruse makes no allowances for being wrong and publicly humiliated. That’s why he quickly goes into denial and cancel mode every time you fulfill one of his public challenges. The Real Challenge that Kirsch and the Scamdemic Crowd Need to Meet The real question is not “why millions of people, all exhibiting signs of COVID have whole genome sequences that match the SARS-CoV-2 reference genome if viruses don't exist?” The real questions that need asking are: Can anyone isolate Sars-Cov-2 in a manner that really does physically separate a pathogenic organism that can be subsequently shown to be an infectious and harmful virus? In other words, can this virus be shown to be transmittable between humans via coughing/sneezing/breathing/touching/’jumping”/etc etc etc and to cause the symptoms of ‘COVID’ upon infection? Upon having genuinely isolated this virus and proving it does cause an illness called ‘COVID’ in humans, can they then take virions from this virus and use those to catalog its entire genome? Can they then compare this genome to other similarly obtained ‘virus’ genomes from pre-December 2019 and point to key differences that prove the existence of a novel virus? No matter how Kirsch and his masters try to worm and squirm and reframe the argument, the inescapable truth is that the answer to all the above questions remains a big, fat NO. No-one has come close to doing this, and that includes the authors of this paper which Kirsch claims “the ‘no virus’ crowd stays clear of.” To cover for the inescapable fact that no-one has ever physically isolated a virus the way bacteria has been isolated, Kirsch gets his disingenuous on. “Fire can’t be isolated,” he says. “Gravity can’t be isolated.” Stupid Analogy Alert: Fire doesn’t need to be isolated the way a virus does. It can be seen with the naked eye, and there’s no mistaking it for a bunch of exosomes. As for gravity, of course you can’t “isolate” an invisible force. But I can sure as hell prove to you it exists, Kirsch, and in a manner in which it can’t be mistaken for anything else. Meet me at the top of a tall structure and I’ll explain. COVID: It’s Still Cold and Flu Renamed There is no Sars-Cov-2. There is no COVID. There is cold and flu and pneumonia, and they existed long before December 2019. In early 2020, they were renamed ‘COVID’ and the proof of its existence was testing positive on a fraudulent PCR test. That’s why, as the 'COVID' hysteria hit fever pitch during 2020, regular influenza magically disappeared almost entirely. Steve Kirsch, ladies and gentlemen, is part of the sham. I’ll have plenty more to say about Kirsch and the genome wank in due course, but today I’ll conclude with the following gems from our not-so-clever guy. “If the virus doesn’t exist, why is it we can SEE the SARS-CoV-2 under electron microscopes with its telltale ‘spikes’?” writes Kirsch. Kirsch then proves just how utterly unsuited he is to this topic when he claims that a New York Times article from October 2020 “shows virions inside the cell as well as outside the cell.” “All of the images in the Times article are fully explained by virology,” claims Kirsch, “and are inexplicable if the virus doesn’t exist.” It’s time to have another hearty laugh at Stevie’s expense. In fact, Rajab is one of the four sacred months in Islam. The month of Rajab is the seventh month of the Islamic calendar and a prelude to the ninth month, Ramadan. The classical Muslim scholar Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali quoted another scholar, Abu Bakr Al-Warraq, in his book Lataif al-Ma’arif: “Rajab is a month of cultivation, Sha'ban is the month of irrigating the fields, and Ramadan is the month of reaping and harvesting.” Preparing before the arrival of Ramadan is crucial. Rajab could be the starting point for these preparations. Our deeds can (hope to) be compared to a tree, where the seeds are planted in Rajab, the tree begins to take shape in Sha’ban, and the fruits are harvested in Ramadan. Therefore, it is recommended that we take advantage of Rajab so that they may hope to perform well in Ramadan. This article will delve into the origin of "Rajab", significant events that happened in Rajab, and four acts you can perform during this period. Hijri month, why is rajab a sacred month Etymology of Rajab (the origin of Rajab and the historical development of its meaning) The word “Rajab” (رجب) comes from the word 'at-tarjeeb' (الترجيب), which means revered/reverence. The month also goes by Rajab Al-Haram, Rajab Al-Fard, and Rajab Mudhar, just to name a few. The reason it is named Rajab Al-Haram (Rajab the sacred one) is because it is one of the four sacred months in Islam, as mentioned in Surah At-Tawbah, verse 36. The Quran states: إِنَّ عِدَّةَ ٱلشُّهُورِ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِى كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ مِنْهَآ أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ “Indeed, the number of months ordained by Allah is twelve—in Allah’s Record since the day He created the heavens and the earth—of which four are sacred…” (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:36) Many classical scholars have interpreted this verse with the accompanying hadith whereby the Prophet s.a.w. mentioned in a hadith: إنَّ الزَّمانَ قد استدار كهيئتِه يومَ خَلَق اللهُ السَّمواتِ والأرضَ، السَّنةُ اثنا عَشَرَ شَهرًا، منها أربعةٌ حُرُمٌ، ثلاثٌ متوالياتٌ: ذو القَعْدةِ، وذو الحِجَّةِ، والمحَرَّمُ، ورَجَبُ مُضَرَ الذي بين جُمادى وشَعبانَ “Time has completed its cycle and has come to the state of the day when Allah created the heavens and the earth. The year consists of twelve months of which four are inviolable; three of them consecutive - Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram and Rajab, the month of Mudar (tribe), which comes between Jumada and Sha'ban.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari) Read: Muslim SG | 4 Sacred Months in Islam Rajab is also called Rajab Al-Fard (Rajab the single one) because the month is a standalone compared to the other three consecutive months of Zulkaedah, Zulhijjah, and Muharram. And finally, it is known as Rajab Mudhar (Rajab of the tribe Mudhar) because historically, there’s a tribe called Mudhar (Bani Mudhar) in the Arabian peninsula, and the tribesmen would often perform their pilgrimage in the month of Rajab as they view the month as sacred and holy. During the pre-Islam period, it was a practice of the Arabs to rearrange the months in the calendar wherever they saw fit. However, the tribe Mudhar would not rearrange the month of Rajab and would consistently appoint it accordingly every year, which they became known for. Allah s.w.t. says in the Quran: إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّسِىٓءُ زِيَادَةٌ فِى ٱلْكُفْرِ ۖ يُضَلُّ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُحِلُّونَهُۥ عَامًا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُۥ عَامًا لِّيُوَاطِـُٔوا۟ عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ فَيُحِلُّوا۟ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ زُيِّنَ لَهُمْ سُوٓءُ أَعْمَـٰلِهِمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ Reallocating the sanctity of (these) months is an increase in disbelief, by which the disbelievers are led (far) astray. They adjust the sanctity one year and uphold it in another, only to maintain the number of months sanctified by Allah, violating the very months Allah has made sacred. Their evil deeds have been made appealing to them. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:37) Hence, when the Prophet s.a.w. declared Rajab as Rajab Mudhar, the companions knew the Prophet s.a.w. meant the seventh month of the Hijri lunar calendar.[1] One of the 4 sacred months Rejab, Hijri month, why is rajab a sacred month As it has been established that the month of Rajab is one of the four sacred months in Islam, let us look at why these months are sacred and how we should welcome them. Allah s.w.t specifically warns us on this matter: يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُحِلُّوا۟ شَعَـٰٓئِرَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا ٱلشَّهْرَ ٱلْحَرَامَ وَلَا ٱلْهَدْىَ وَلَا ٱلْقَلَـٰٓئِدَ وَلَآ ءَآمِّينَ ٱلْبَيْتَ ٱلْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلاً مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَٰنًا “O believers! Do not violate Allah’s rituals (of pilgrimage), the sacred months, the sacrificial animals, the (offerings decorated with) garlands, nor those (pilgrims) on their way to the Sacred House seeking their Lord’s bounty and pleasure.” (Surah Al-Maidah, 5:2) These months are called sacred for two reasons: 1. Prohibition of fighting Ibn Kathir[2] explains that this warning comes as an instruction for Muslims to observe, respect and honour the sacred months and avoid bad deeds such as fighting. Allah s.w.t. says in the Quran: يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِيهِ ۖ قُلْ قِتَالٌ فِيهِ كَبِيرٌ “They ask you (O Prophet) about fighting in the sacred months. Say, “Fighting during these months is a great sin” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:217) Rajab, Hijri month, sacred months, rejab Historically, even before the advent of Islam, fighting was prohibited within the four sacred months. The sequence of the sacred months appears to be intentionally arranged to provide a safe journey for pilgrims travelling to and from Makkah. The month of Zulkaedah is when the pilgrims begin their preparation for the hajj, Zulhijjah is when they perform the hajj rituals, and Muharram is when they return from the hajj pilgrimage. On the other hand, Rajab was made sacred to ensure safety for pilgrims performing the minor pilgrimage (umrah). Hence, in this spirit, let us strive our best to leave conflict, disputes and animosity as we benefit the best from the sacred month of Rajab. 2. Prohibition of wronging oneself Allah s.w.t. instructed us to observe the sanctity of the sacred months by the prohibition wronging oneself. The Quran states: إِنَّ عِدَّةَ ٱلشُّهُورِ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِى كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ مِنْهَآ أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْقَيِّمُ ۚ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا۟ فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ “Indeed, the number of months ordained by Allah is twelve—in Allah’s Record since the day He created the heavens and the earth—of which four are sacred. That is the Right Way. So do not wrong one another during these months…” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:36) According to Ibn Kathir, sins are worse in general in the sacred months, where their degree is almost akin to sinning within the confines of the Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah. Ibn Abbas states: "In all (twelve) months. Allah then chose four out of these months and made them sacred, emphasising their sanctity, making sinning in them greater, in addition to multiplying rewards of righteous deeds during them." Important Events That Happened In Rajab First hijrah (migration) to Abyssinia From the late fourth and into the middle of the fifth year of Muhammad s.a.w’s prophethood, Quraysh slowly but steadily accelerated the persecution and torture of Muslims. It was evident that practising Islam in Makkah was no longer tolerable. The Prophet s.a.w. then instructed some Muslims to migrate and seek asylum in the land of Habshah (Abyssinia, modern-day Ethiopia), as the Negus (King) Ashama, was a fair ruler. Among them was the son-in-law of the Prophet s.a.w, Uthman Ibn Affan r.a. and his wife, Ruqayyah r.a. (the daughter of the Prophet s.a.w.) While the news of the migration was made known to Quraysh, the dispatch came too late to stop the migration.[3] Several futile attempts by Quraysh to dissuade the Negus to expel the companions of the Prophet s.a.w. back to Makkah were made but failed. Isra' Mi'raj Isra’ and Mi’raj are events referring to the miraculous night journey of the Prophet s.a.w. from Makkah to Jerusalem and then the ascension to heaven. Rejab, Hijri month, why is rajab a sacred month The journey impacted Muslims as after the ascension to heaven, the Prophet s.a.w. was commanded to teach Muslims to establish the prayers five times a day. The daily prayers became a Pillar of Islam. Anas Ibn Malik r.a. reports: فُرِضَتْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ الصَّلَوَاتُ خَمْسِينَ ثُمَّ نُقِصَتْ حَتَّى جُعِلَتْ خَمْسًا ثُمَّ نُودِيَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَإِنَّ لَكَ بِهَذِهِ الْخَمْسِ خَمْسِينَ "On the Night of Isra, fifty prayers were made obligatory upon the Prophet. Then it was decreased until it was made five. Then it was called out: 'O Muhammad! Indeed My Word does not change; these five prayers will be recorded for you as fifty.'" (Sunan At-Tirmizi) The journey occurred on the 27th of Rajab and happened a year before the hijrah of the Prophet s.a.w. to Madinah. Istighfar Istighfar, or seeking forgiveness from Allah s.w.t, is considered one of the most important acts of worship for Muslims as it is a means of purifying oneself from sins and seeking protection from Allah s.w.t. In a narration by Ibn ‘Abbas r.a, the Prophet s.a.w. said: مَن لَزِمَ الِاسْتِغْفَارَ، جَعَلَ اللهُ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ ضِيقٍ مَخْرَجاً وَمِن كُلِّ هَمٍّ فَرَجاً، وَرَزَقَهُ مِن حَيثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ "If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not." ‏ (Sunan Abi Daud) Even if the month of Ramadan is only a few months away, that doesn’t mean we have to wait till then to seek forgiveness because, ideally, as Muslims, we should regularly seek forgiveness. It’s emphasised in the Quran: إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُواْ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ “The believers are but one brotherhood, so make peace between your brothers. And be mindful of Allah so you may be shown mercy.” (Surah Al-Hujurat, 49:10) Rajab, Hijri month, sacred months, rejab The Prophet s.a.w. has also mentioned in a hadith: لاَ يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلاَثِ لَيَالٍ، يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا وَيُعْرِضُ هَذَا، وَخَيْرُهُمَا الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ بِالسَّلاَمِ “It is not lawful for a man to desert his brother Muslim for more than three nights. (It is unlawful for them that) when they meet, one of them turns his face away from the other, and the other turns his face from the former, and the better of the two will be the one who greets the other first” (Sahih Al-Bukhari) Historically, the month of Rajab was known to be a peaceful period as wars and fighting were prohibited. Therefore, we should take this opportunity to reconcile with those whom we have disputes with and make peace with them as it brings not only harmony but also may be a source of help on the Day of Judgement, as mentioned by the Prophet s.a.w. in a hadith narrated by Ibn Umar r.a: أنا زعيمٌ ببيتِ في رَبَضِ الجنةِ لمَن تَرَكَ المِراءَ وإن كان مُحِقًّا ، وببيتِ في وسطِ الجنةِ لمَن تركَ الكذبَ وإن كان مازحًا ، وببيتٍ في أعلى الجنةِ لمَن حَسُنَ خُلُقُه “I guarantee a house in Jannah for one who gives up arguing, even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a home in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun; and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Jannah for one who has good manners.” (Sunan Abi Daud) 3. Fast In preparation for the upcoming fasting month, why not start voluntarily fasting on Monday and Thursday? or perhaps the ayyamul bidh (the white days of fasting), which falls on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of every hijri month? In a hadith, Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said: صَوْمُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ كُلِّهِ “Observing fasting on three days of every month is equivalent to fasting the whole year” (Sahih Al-Bukhari) Do note, if you have missed prior Ramadan fasts, it is important to prioritise making up the missed fasts as they are wajib (obligatory) while the fasting of white days is sunnah (non-obligatory/non-mandatory). Narrated by Usamah bin Zaid r.a: قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَمْ أَرَكَ تَصُومُ شَهْرًا مِنَ الشُّهُورِ مَا تَصُومُ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ‏.‏ قَالَ "‏ذَلِكَ شَهْرٌ يَغْفُلُ النَّاسُ عَنْهُ بَيْنَ رَجَبٍ وَرَمَضَانَ وَهُوَ شَهْرٌ تُرْفَعُ فِيهِ الأَعْمَالُ إِلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ عَمَلِي وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ‏"‏ "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting any month as much as Sha’ban.' He said: 'That is a month to which people do not pay much attention, between Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which the deeds are taken up to the Lord of the worlds, and I like that my deeds be taken up when I am fasting."' Read the dua for Rajab Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali related in his book, Lataif al-Ma'arif, that the companions would supplicate for a safe journey to Ramadan for six months. After Ramadan, they would continue to pray for another six months, asking Allah to accept the acts of worship that they performed throughout the holy month. We can recite the following dua: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي رَجَب، وَشَعْبَانَ، وَبَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَانَ Allahumma barik lana fi Rajab wa Sha’ban wa ballighna Ramadan “O Allah make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us and let us reach the month of Ramadan.” (Musnad Ahmad) And the dua: اللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِي مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، وَسَلِّمْ رَمَضَانَ لِي، وَتَسَلَّمْهُ مِنِّي مُتَقَبَّلًا Allahumma Sallimni min Ramadhan. Wa sallim Ramadhana li. Wa tasallamhu minni mutaqabbala “O Allah preserve me for Ramadan, safeguard Ramadan for me and accept it for me.” (narrated by Imam At-Tabrani) So let's turn to Him, the Most Generous, as we get ready for Ramadan. It is beyond me how Israel has failed to figure out that a martyred Palestinian leader exerts a vastly more powerful hold on his people’s imagination and will to resist than a living one. After decades of targeting and killing a long list of Palestinian leaders (or imprisoning them), Israel has not learned that another generation of leaders, stronger and fiercer than their predecessor, emerges inevitably. It makes me wonder if Israel is merely stupid or insane. There is a saying that goes, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” To people following Israel’s war on Gaza and unaware of Israel’s policy of targeted killing, the assassination in Lebanon of Saleh al-Arouri, Deputy Chair of the Political Bureau of Hamas and founder of the Martyr Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, may have come as a surprise. My own reaction included an element of surprise but for a different reason. I had been betting incorrectly that Israel and the US were smarter than to risk a war with Hezbollah. Some Israeli ministers who had not received Netanyahu’s memo to keep their mouths shut about the killings foolishly tweeted congratulations to Mossad and Shin Bet on the deed, thus proving that they are not motivated by deterrence, but rather by revenge and hubris. Not that targeted killing of Palestinian leaders has ever been effective as a deterrence measure. A few days before the assassination of al-Arouri and several of his comrades (collateral damage?), I had watched a presentation on al-Jazeera Arabic showcasing the various families of home-made rockets in the possession of the Palestinian armed resistance. Each slide showed a group of rockets with the picture next to it of an assassinated leader after whom the class of rockets was named. Ayyash Rocket, named after martyred engineer Yahya Ayyash; Ranteesi Rocket, named after martyred leader Abdel Azziz al-Ranteesi; Abu Shammaleh Rocket, named after martyred leader Mohammad Abu Shammaleh; Attar Rocket, named after martyred leader Raed al-Attar; Ja’abari Rocket, named after martyred leader Ahmad al-Ja’abari; Rocket M90, named after martyred leader Ibrahim al-Maqadmeh I am certain soon we can look forward to a family of al-Qassam Brigades’ rockets named after martyred leader Saleh al-Arouri. Al-Qassam Rocket, named after Sheikh Izzedine al-Qassam Israel has used extrajudicial executions (aka targeted killing) of Palestinian leaders openly since 2001, giving itself a license to kill, including in the territories of other States. By re-characterizing individuals as “terrorists” (al-Arouri was also on the US terrorism list with a bounty of $5m (£4m) on his head since 2018), Israel and the US justify such killing within the framework of the law of armed conflict, thus blurring and expanding that law (also known as international humanitarian law) and making the global order less safe for everybody. Read “10 things the rules of war do” published by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and you will immediately notice that the US and Israel are violating every single rule in Gaza. In an article titled, ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’ Day 76: Extrajudicial Killings of Men in Front of Their Families in Gaza, we learn that “Israeli forces have reportedly conducted extrajudicial executions in front of families in Gaza as international leaders continue to discuss Israel’s conduct with little to no action, while negotiations between Israel and Hamas waver as war rages on.” Extrajudicial executions are illegal under international law and are considered a fundamental violation of human rights and an “affront to the conscience of humanity.” In the same way that Israel argues falsely (most recently as it defends itself against genocide accusation at ICJ) that its policy of genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza or the West Bank is consistent with international law, “because Israel is engaged in armed conflict with terrorists,” it lies about the people it targets by saying they are “usually killed by conventional military means, not through deception, and the targets of the attacks are not civilians but combatants or are part of a military chain of command.” The following statistics give an idea of how this policy works in bolstering Israel’s repressive measures against Palestinians: “… from the beginning of the second intifada, on 29 September 2000, to the end of 2010, Israeli security forces killed 4,927 Palestinians in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip, 970 of them minors (under age 18). At least 2,227 of the fatalities were not taking part in hostilities. Another 239 were the object of a targeted killing. Thousands more were injured. [These figures do not include the casualties in Operation Cast Lead.]” Palestinians have yet to be deterred by Israel’s policies and the cover of impunity the US gives them. Predictably, the reaction is quite the opposite as is evident in the following press statement issued by the joint leadership of the People’s Democratic Party and the Arab Socialist Labor Party in Lebanon on Jan 3, following the assassination of al-Arouri and his comrades. The two parties offered their condolences and affirmed “The natural response to the crime will be to escalate the resistance in Gaza, the West Bank and all supporting fronts, and the enemy entity will be under the fire of resistance from southern Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and Syria.” * Note to readers: Please click the share button above. December 1, 2028: COP33 Climate Conference Urges Americans to Stop Eating As world leaders gather for the 33rd COP Climate Summit, the theme of this year’s event is “Just Stop Eating.” The United Nations, which hosts the conference, said that with extremely high oil and coal prices significantly reducing demand for fossil fuels, it is time to turn the focus on reducing the climate change affects of agriculture. “Farming, especially the production of meat animals, is contributing to the warming of the globe at an unprecedented rate,” said Secretary-General of the United Nations Justin Trudeau as he opened the conference. “And to tackle the root cause, we have to tackle demand— that is, people eating food.” He said that as the fattest nation, the United States is the main problem when it comes to agricultural emissions. “For the United States, this is not just an issue of climate change,” Trudeau continued, “This is a matter of public health. And as we learned from successfully combating Covid-19 with lockdowns and other restrictions, public health issues need the heavy hand of government to be solved.” Since the 2023 COP28 agreement, the US has annually sent hundreds of billions of dollars in reparations payments to developing nations, compensating for its industrialization-driven greenhouse gas emissions that have disproportionately impacted these countries with natural disasters. Therefore, much of the COP33 agenda this year is focused on how to make Americans stop eating. Some critics have noted the odd use of language which consistently uses the phrase, “just stop eating,” as opposed to “reduce food intake.” “Of course, we don’t mean Americans should starve to death,” Trudeau said, glancing suspiciously side to side. “But it’s pretty clear a little climate change diet wouldn’t hurt.” One breakout session will “explore the use of public health mandates to force Americans to stop eating.” “Anything based on science can be justified as a public health mandate,” Trudeau said. “The scientific health benefits of fasting and calorie restriction are clear. And therefore these could, and should, be mandated on the American public.” But mandates are not the only avenue that will be discussed to drastically curb Americans’ calorie intake. Another session is called, “Appealing to Catholics with Biblical justifications to stop eating meat.” The discussion will surround how a coordinated media effort might revive the Catholic tradition of fasting from meat on Fridays and during lent. “If Catholics are willing to walk the walk, they would extend those traditions year round.” Trudeau said. “I think the Pope agrees, and we are working closely with him to add this to the next Papal Bull.” But just in case traditional religion isn’t enough, COP33 will host spiritual guru Charlotte Tan who promotes the practice of sun gazing to replace meals. “When you commune with nature, you realize the abundance around you. Gazing at the setting or rising sun can provide enough nutrients to your body to replace about half of your calories.” Tan says that her “Nature’s Bounty” walks have also been popular among spiritually in-touch Americans. “What we do is take a quick walk around a yard or a city block and find all the unused food resources just there for the taking. By eating edible weeds like dandelion or chickweed, people can save money, which gives them more time for meditation and activism.” “But we don’t stop there,” Charlotte Tan continued, “Crickets, grubs, maggots— these might seem disgusting at first glance. But enlightened people realize these are just parts of nature. They are wholesome, fulfilling, and rich in high calorie lean protein. And best of all, they don’t add to a human’s carbon footprint. In fact, by eating them, we reduce it.” Tan said that scorpions were especially popular food last year at her tent at Burning Man.
