Reports on the ground say that the Syrian military backed by the Russian Air Force struck the terror groups in villages of Hazarin and Al-Raqeya in the southern countryside of the province of Idlib. Airstrikes also targeted positions of Al-Nusra Front Terror Group around Khan Sheikhoun south of Idlib and Morek in the northern countryside of Hama. The Syrian military says it has reinforced its defense lines with various means of fire, personnel and equipment in areas where clashes are underway with the terrorists. The army also says it’s managed to secure a number of areas including Ma’ardis. According to the Syrian media, nearly terrorists have been killed in three days of fighting. Clashes between the army and the terrorists erupted after attack theory groups, including al-Nusra Front, launched a surprise attack on northern and northwestern parts of Syria on Wednesday. And reactions and condemnations continue pouring in over the resurgence of foreign-backed terrorism in Syria. The Arab League has issued a statement stressing the need to respect the sovereignty and preserve the territorial integrity of Syria. League Secretary General Ahmed Abu Ghait expressed concerns over the continuous developments that Syria is witnessing and their impacts on civilians. In a phone call, the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said the country stands with Syria and supports it in combating terrorism and unifying its territory. The Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudanian and Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein expressed their country’s support, saying that Syria’s security and stability are linked to Iraq’s national security. In a statement, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yivan Gil expressed country solidarity with the Syrian people and government, calling on the international community to condemn terrorist attacks in Syria. What are we to make sure of this resurgence of terrorism in Syria, their objectives and their backers? Well, the first question is, why now? The timing is crucial to understanding what’s going on. And it’s obviously not a coincidence that this happened at exactly the same moment that the genocidal Zionist occupation entity is changing its focus from its unsuccessful war on Lebanon, in which it was forced to accept essentially a defeat, to a war on Syria. It’s now trying to take out the Lebanese people’s ability to defend themselves, which they did so successfully, by going into Syria and attacking Syria and trying to cut off any means that supporters of Lebanese independence will be able to use to help ensure that Hezbollah and the patriotic forces in Lebanon will be able to continue to defend themselves successfully in the future. So the Zionist entity attacked Syria. And at the same moment, these takfiri terrorists who are armed and supported by the Zionist entity’s backers in Washington, D.C., also attacked Syria. Clearly, this is a coordinated operation. It’s not only a response to the Zionists’ loss in their war on Lebanon, but it’s also an attempt to bring back the divide and conquer strategy to try to do something about the success that Chinese-backed and to some extent Russian-backed diplomacy has had in uniting the region against the Zionists. The leadership of the Gulf Arab regimes, which had been very pro-Zionist in the past, has awakened to the futility of accepting the Zionists as a permanent entity. They’ve seen this genocide. That’s why they’re now trying to ramp up this war on Syria. But it’s not working. As we’ve seen, the leadership in all regional countries is standing strong. And let’s hope that Turkey wakes up and that the Turkish leadership realizes that this divide-and-conquer Oded Yinon strategy is aimed at them as well, and that Kurdish separatist extremists are going to be armed and turned against them in the same way that the Takfiri terrorists are being armed and turned against Syria. And it’s ironic you say that because we often hear so many regional countries, Dr. Barrett, always allude to that exact thing, that the Zionist entities’ actions in West Asia do nothing but perpetrate more destabilization, insecurity, and instability for everyone in the region. That’s right. That’s what it’s there to do. Suddenly, it's not just a local thing. It's pulling-in the big players and pitting them against each other on a world stage. Then, add the US election to the mix. This place is on-edge and the election's just going to push it over. People don't trust what they're seeing, anymore. American 33rd degree Freemason, Albert Pike wrote a letter over 150 years ago, detailing how the elites plan to launch the First- and Second World Wars in the 20th century and the Third World War in the 21st century. Disturbingly, Pike's description of the first and second world wars played-out, to the letter. So we should probably pay attention to what he said about the third. The letter, written in 1871, details how the Global Elite or "Illuminati", as he called them, will provoke a Holy War between the Zionists and the Islamic world (reads from the letter): "The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the Illuminati between the political Zionists and the leaders of the Islamic world. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam and political Zionism mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile, the other nations, once more divided in this issue, will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion." Could Albert Pike have been foretelling 2024? His writings align eerily with today's events. Zionist Israelis seem to understand their role in establishing a One World Government. They predict that as global chaos intensifies, people worldwide will eventually turn to the elites, pleading for a New World Order to restore stability. We are in GRAVE DANGER! FOOD & GAS RATIONING Through Executive Orders: Shockingly TERRIFYING One of the most important things you will read this year: How the American government swiftly took away everything from its citizens in under 24 months, without Congressional approval... Agent131711 “the conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society.” - Edward Bernays, Propaganda You’d better read this and start preparing now: The best way to learn how they’re going to do it is to learn how they already did it - a horrifying history lesson that is likely to repeat by, or in, 2030, just in time for the United Nations 2030 Agenda, a program in which everything is rationed, starting with utilities, food and land. I always knew rations were implemented during WWII, but I never learned how they did it and I sure as hell never thought it was this diabolical. This research utterly shocked me and it will shock you too. We are already in the beginning stages of the rationing program, all they need now is to pull the trigger and all of this will happen again, just as quickly as it did 85 years ago… please read this because the devil is in the details… The year was 1942. America was about to jump into World War II and the president, Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR), claimed to be concerned about the financial impacts the war would have on society. This meant something needed to be done, pronto. FDR, through Emergency Powers, avoided Congressional oversight and created the Office of Price Administration (OPA). The seemingly-innocent OPAs single job was to stabilize prices (price control) to prevent harmful inflation, but as soon as the group was established it warned of a serious rubber shortage, so serious that if not addressed, America may fall. The OPA wasted no time in making themselves the gatekeeper of rubber by creating a tire rationing program. The first step the OPA took was clamping down on the sale of new tires, but it soon claimed this was not sufficient. The American public was blindsided when the OPA announced that a ban on tire repair had gone into effect. With this new law, 30 million drivers no longer had access to tires and were not allowed to have their current tires mended. A system was then created that would give approved members of the public the privilege of purchasing tires, but only in limited amounts. This system involved only allowing the sale of tires to those who possessed certificates, but even then, those fortunate enough to obtain a certificate were allowed to possess only a limited number of tires, 5 total, without exception. All additional tires were ordered to be turned over to the local gas stations for collection by the government. The only alternative was hardwood tires which, if you were lucky to get your hands on some, only lasted a few hundred miles: A mechanic shows off two pairs of hardwood tires—the pair on the left is new while the other has been driven 500 miles. The OPA realized that were too many citizens for them to monitor and control on their own so they recruited help. 8,000 rationing boards were created to oversee the tire-rationing program. Although citizens were informed that tire rationing was helping America stay in the war, it just wasn’t enough. Next came the implementation of restrictions placed on the sale of new vehicles - and by “restrictions”, I mean a complete ban. The ability to purchase a vehicle was “frozen” until a rationing program could be created. All new vehicles sent to dealers were to be held and stockpiled for the government. Car dealers could not sell a vehicle unless permission was granted on a case-by-case basis. Permissions were granted if the sale of the vehicle was deemed in the best interest of the public. At the end of the first month of the vehicle sales ban, citizens expected the freeze to lift, but instead of releasing the stockpile to the public, all vehicles were placed into long-term government-controlled storage. The public was informed that while rubber rationing, in combination with the vehicle sales ban, was helping America in the war, it still wasn’t enough. Without more rationing America would surely fall, so next came gasoline rationing. The reason for the gas rationing was fear of an oil crisis. The idea of an oil crisis confused citizens because, at the time “the United States was entirely self-sufficient in oil, and indeed was a major exporter of petroleum products. At the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939, North America accounted for 64 percent of the world’s crude-oil production. (The Near and Middle East’s share, by contrast, was a mere 5.7 percent.)” - yet it was imperative to implement a rationing program, just in case. The rationed crude oil would be stockpiled by the government so the United States can keep fighting the good fight. Conservation & Scrap | David Pollack Vintage Posters The rationing program was then implemented and the government limited motorists to a maximum of 2.5 to 5-gallons of gasoline per week. People now had to obtain and display decal stickers on their car windshields which placed them into group A, B or C of the driving hierarchy. A windshield bearing an A-sticker was a nonessential driver, this meant this individual did not need gas rations, therefore, if they were to receive their ration, they would be allotted only 2.5-3 gallons per week. Because they were deemed nonessential, their driving was capped to 60 total miles per week, regardless of reason. However, with the gas ration of only 2.5-3 gallons, there was no way to drive 60 miles per week because the average vehicle got 15 miles per gallon, meaning citizens could only drive 45 miles if they received the full 3-gallon allotment. The American Home Front During World War II: Rationing, Recycling, and Victory Gardens (U.S. National Park Service) If you were fortunate enough to receive a B-sticker decal, you were semi-essential and could receive up to 5 gallons weekly, which would allow for 75 miles of travel per week, however this too was capped at 60. The public was then told that they should never be driving alone because it’s wasteful. In fact, those driving solo were to be linked to Hitler. Meanwhile, over 200 members of Congress were given “X cards” which allowed them to purchase unlimited amounts of gasoline and drive as they wanted. While all of this was going on, the government used tax money to link the rich Texas oil fields with the northeastern states through the construction a giant pipeline. This new pipeline was to help the stockpile by giving the oil tycoons free infrastructure… all so America can keep fighting the good fight. Next, the public was informed that while tire and gas rationing, in addition to the complete ban on vehicle purchasing, was helping it still was not enough to keep us winning the war. The OPA realized it needed to do more so it went to work establishing a more expansive rationing program, under which everything could be limited including consumer items and commodities, such as shoes, silk stockings, perfumes, and processed foods. (because if there’s one way to defeat the Axis, it is through limiting hosiery and fragrances) To ensure citizens were abiding by the new rules, the OPA needed more help. “More than 30,000 volunteers were recruited to handle the vast paper work involved in controlling prices on 90 percent of the goods sold in more than 600,000 retail stores and issuing a series of rationing books to every man, woman and child in the United States.” image3 … but it still wasn’t enough... As of May 1942, “the OPA had frozen or was readying to freeze the prices on practically everything. Virtually all consumer goods were either rationed or soon would be. Sugar would be rationed first and coffee would soon follow.” Buy Me a Coffee (before its rationed) When sugar rationing began, “Individuals were required to go to local grade schools, where volunteers and teachers interviewed them, checked on the size of the family and how much sugar they had at home. Then, based on what the rationing board heard, the individual was issued a ration book with a year’s worth of stamps.”. The first page of the book “displayed warnings that violating the rationing rules and regulations could result in fines of up to $10,000 and 10 years of imprisonment. This was followed by a series of rules. The rationing book could only be used by the person to whom it was issued and if that person left the country or died, the book had to be surrendered back to the government.” The rationing booklet was designed for even further limitation of purchases. “For example, if a can of corn was listed at 7 ration points, and the purchaser had only a 10-point stamp left for the week … [the purchaser] would lose three ration points as part of the purchase.”. Additionally, rationing stamps had expiration dates to ensure they could never be saved. All of the rationing programs were spun as being patriotic and given champion names like Victory Tires. The media ran stories of cheerful citizens being eager to help and begging to further ration. They claimed many in the public chose to donate their tires or vehicles to the government to help us win the war. It didn’t take long for rationing coupons to become a secondary monetary system in which new red and blue cardboard tokens were introduced, each valued at one-point. These tokens resulted in less of a point loss for citizens who had no way to make change. “As the war drew on, nearly every item Americans ate, wore, used or lived in was rationed or otherwise regulated”. Disney jumped in to help the US government push tax propaganda on the people (must see 3-minute video): …but even with the tax increase, the gas rationing, the tire rationing, the vehicle purchasing freeze, food rationing, the stamp system, the tax increase and utility rationing, it still wasn’t enough. Without more effort America was certain to fall… so next came rationing on canned food… The reason for this? We needed the metal for war. Enter: Victory Gardens and Recycling (although it wasn’t called recycling at the time). Victory Gardens first came about during World War I, when the same rationing and food shortages were occurring. Citizens planted gardens for food production and it worked. The gardens were brought back for WWII which, due to extreme government rationing, featured even worse food shortages than the first war. If things weren’t bad enough already, Americans were laboring long, hard hours, working for the defense industry, building weapons or performing other war-related tasks, mostly in factories. Because of the extended work days, employees were earning large amounts of money, however, because everything in society had been taken away or frozen, their money was useless. Now that meat was on the ration list, they could not even purchase a big, juicy roast for dinner for their family. The reason the entire USA had to ration meat was so it could all go to the troops to ensure they got enough. This lead to a meat shortage which lead to the OPA implementing another ration via declaration. A Meatless Tuesdays policy was mandated which quickly turned into Meatless Tuesdays and Fridays. But being that you couldn’t get the meat in the first place due to rationing, it basically became Meatless-Everyday. Fish was also rationed for the same reason as meat; the soldiers needed all of it. To combat “unauthorized food distribution”, the OPA sent investigators out to hunt them down and make arrests. (because the only way to defeat tax-raising Hitler was to make sure the Johnson family didn’t have steak for dinner on a Meatless Friday). And just when you think it cannot possibly get worse, factories that currently made consumer goods were directed to cease and instead help build airplanes, tanks and other war essentials. This quickly resulted in the few items that had not yet been added to the rationing list, such as radios, washing machines and other appliances, vanishing from stores because there was no one manufacturing them anymore. All of these efforts still were not enough to ensure an American war victory, so more needed to be done, specifically in the area of gasoline usage. Although citizens were only allotted 2.5-5 gallons per week, more restrictions were implemented. FDR “ordered a ban on pleasure driving, as well as a 35-mile-per-hour speed limit on all of America’s highways.”. The new 35mph rule was referred to as “Victory Speed” and it was to be enforced by police. Reducing the speed limit to 35 mph saved both rubber and gas. The rationing continued to worsen as the years rolled on. Come spring of 1943, when the Sears, Roebuck and Company catalog was released to the public, it contained a complete list of rationed farm equipment. Additionally, “planting, seeding, and fertilizing machinery were listed, as were tractors, and dairy farm machinery and equipment.”. There was even a section in the catalog titled “If you are a farmer or poultry raiser and want to buy a hand pump”. The next thing to vanish was the lumber and home building supplies, followed by the builders themselves. Just like the radio and washing machine manufacturers, the home construction companies were directed to build housing only to aid the war. (1 minute video) As expected, the excessive rationing of everything and the scarcity of non-rationed items lead to crime. Ration books were being stolen. People were even breaking into OPA offices to take them in bulk. Others counterfeited stamps. The black market continued to expand into baking ingredients, gasoline and other life necessities. The demand for black market products resulted in delivery truck drivers being hijacked which lead to drivers being forced to arm themselves. The government, through the OPA, ran an anti-black market campaign, while at the same time continually changing the stamp system, which resulted in further driving people to black markets. Stamp out black markets --with your ration stamps : pay no more than legal prices. - UNT Digital Library The OPA then put pressure on ranchers and cattle farmers; should anything be slaughtered on their property, they must collect stamps for it. They next went after slaughter houses. Make This Pledge The OPA enforced actions against 280,724 violators of rationing and price laws. Penalties were up to one year in prison and a five thousand dollar fine. “One in fifteen businesses — wholesale, retail, service and so on—was charged with illicit transactions.”, but fining and jailing the general public did not stop the black markets. Within a matter of time it was estimated that at least 20% of all transactions were through black market sellers because the citizens were desperate to get goods and food. Even when the war was over, the OPA stayed in place to protect the people from inflation. After almost eight years of nightmare, on March 14, 1947 the General Liquidation Order was issued, scheduled to go into effect a little over 60 days later, on May 29, 1947. This Order abolished the OPA. The end result was complete devastation and scarcity. My grandfather came home from war both physically and mentally wounded, having seen things so horrible he would never share them with us. My grandfather died believing his sacrifice was what was required to ensure this would never happen again in America… and here we are… AGENDA 2030 & AGENDA 2050 Regarding the OPA and rationing, were these programs just to help fight the good fight? Or were they a test run for something much larger? (1 minute video) Ah yes, Socialism and Communism, where the government is in full control of everything from production to price-setting to rationing. A program where all people are monitored while starving, except for the overlords, of course. At the beginning of this article I wrote, “…all they need now is to pull the trigger and all of this will happen again… “ - and you best believe their finger is on the trigger. They needed to wait long enough for the people who lived through rationing insanity to die before they could take another stab at it. Trump knows that choosing Zionist road warriors in his administration can be counted on to obediently line up to declare war against any and all readymade “axis-of-evil” enemies – Russia, China and Iran. Incoming Elise wants to jail all Americans critical of Israel for “anti-Semitism.” In December last year, Stefanik brought the three Ivy League women presidents in to grill them in her Congressional hearings, so she could grandstand haranguing them (instrumental in getting them fired) for daring to allow their students to exercise their First Amendment rights to peaceful assembly protest over US and Israel’s daily slaughter of innocent Palestinians in Gaza. Like so many anti-constitutional traitors in Congress, through their blatant words and actions, they continue getting away with never upholding their sworn oaths to protect and defend the US Constitution, which in itself renders them traitors. The law, which was fast-tracked, is considered extreme, and the Attorney General’s office did not issue an opinion on it after a representative claimed that despite the Attorney General’s request, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s position on the matter was not submitted. The law applies to the immediate family of [so-called] terrorists: parents, siblings, children, and spouses. Israeli citizens who meet the criteria will be deported for at least seven years and up to 15 years. Non-citizen deportees will face a minimum of 10 years and up to 20 years. I’m gonna let him go wild on the medicines.” While Kennedy would be an unlikely pick for an actual appointment in the administration given the difficulty he might face with a confirmation, he’s worked with Trump’s team to help plan for a new administration, particularly on healthcare issues. And last week, he gave a preview of what that would mean in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying that “FDA’s war on public health is about to end,” and calling for stopping what he called the suppression of “psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, raw milk, hyperbaric therapies, chelating compounds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, clean foods, sunshine, exercise, nutraceuticals and anything else that advances human health and can’t be patented by Pharma.” “If you work for the FDA and are part of this corrupt system, I have two messages for you: 1. Preserve your records, and 2. Pack your bags,” Kennedy said in the post. The remarks weren’t a one-off. Earlier this month, Kennedy made similar comments to television host Phil McGraw, better known as Dr. Phil, saying that the “principal objective of the FDA today is to serve the mercantile interests of pharmaceutical companies.” There would certainly be limits to what an unconventional, RFK Jr.-allied FDA leader could do, given the power of professional staff at the FDA. But Kennedy’s comments have forced the industry to contemplate a very different environment in Washington if Trump wins and embraces a new approach. And RFK Jr.’s planned reforms, like cutting funding or headcount at the FDA, would have to come from Congress. The FDA-pharma industry user fee deal, current through 2027, is renewed once every five years, and the FDA employees reviewing new and generic drugs or new evidence of existing drugs are typically not political appointees but physicians who are employed by the FDA via industry funds. One former Trump health official who has had conversations with the campaign and those preparing for a potential transition said there were aspects of RFK Jr.’s ideas that had merit, including a focus on wellness and health. But they expressed a hope that more mainstream figures in a Trump administration would put guardrails around more extreme concepts, like RFK Jr.’s well-documented anti-vaccine sentiments. The person spoke on condition of anonymity. The FDA and Trump campaign didn’t respond to requests for comment. Others are raising concerns that an RFK Jr.-run FDA might be antithetical to the agency’s mission. “If RFK has a significant influence on the next administration, that could further erode people’s willingness to get up to date with recommended vaccines, and I am worried about the impact that could have on our nation’s health, on our nation’s economy, on our global security,” former Surgeon General Jerome Adams said Monday at a conference in Minneapolis. Holly Fernandez Lynch, a lawyer and bioethicist at the University of Pennsylvania, told Endpoints News that RFK Jr.’s proposals would amount to “a dereliction of duty” by the agency. “FDA leadership cannot wholesale abandon the agency’s public health mission,” she said. “Unfortunately, I can’t imagine that the courts would come to the rescue given what we’ve seen lately. And whether Congress would or could depends on the elections too.” PhRMA, which represents large drugmakers, said in a statement to Endpoints that the US “leads the world in innovative new medicines, in part due to the strength and integrity of the FDA’s human drug review program. In Dearborn, Rashida Tlaib Did Nearly Twice as Well as Kamala Harris Matthew SledgeNovember 6 2024, 1:47 p.m. Rep. Trump claimed 43 percent of the vote in Dearborn, Michigan, to Kamala Harris’s 36 percent. Jill Stein claimed 15 percent of the vote in the city, where the Green Party had notched less than 1 percent in 2020. Trump’s margin of victory in Dearborn represents a massive reversal from the 2020 election, when Joe Biden’s won 69 percent to Trump’s 30. The huge shift toward Trump will not be decisive in a race where he cruised to a Electoral College victory without the help of Michigan, the state with the highest percentage of Arab Americans. The state had yet to be called Wednesday morning. Still, it was a telling sign of how completely the administration has lost Arab Americans over the war. Down-ballot results suggest that the move was motivated in large part by anger toward the Biden administration rather than dissatisfaction with Democratic policies overall. “She bucked her Party’s leadership, because she refused to ignore the needs of her constituents — which in this case meant opposing a genocide.” Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a progressive Palestinian American, won 62 percent of the vote in Dearborn compared to Republican candidate James Hooper’s 30 percent. She was easily reelected to a fourth term. For observers, the contrast between Tlaib’s strong performance and Harris’s weakness is striking. “Working class voters across this country no longer see the Democratic Party as a Party that fights for their interests,” said Usamah Andrabi, the communications director of Justice Democrats, “and they saw Rashida Tlaib as someone who does for the very reason that she bucked her Party’s leadership, because she refused to ignore the needs of her constituents — which in this case meant opposing a genocide.” Most Read “That’s what putting democracy back at the center of the Democratic Party looks like,” Andrabi said. “Anything else is a betrayal to everyday people and they feel it.” Why the Turn? Some Arab and Muslim voters in Michigan had gone over to Trump because of their conservative values and culture-war alignment. A nationwide ad campaign attacked Harris for her support of trans people, often using misinformation, and the tack had been successful. The issue had helped Trump peel Arab and Muslim voters away from Democrats. Tlaib, though, took progressive stands on the issue, vocally supporting trans rights. “Even though social issues were there, a huge focus was on the Middle East and the war.” So what made Harris perform so poorly in comparison to Tlaib? One lightning rod stands out: Tlaib, a Palestinian American, has been one of the most vocal critics in Congress of Israel’s war on Gaza and, more recently, Lebanon. One prominent Lebanese American civic leader in Dearborn, Abed Hammoud, said he saw no contradiction in Trump and Tlaib — a social progressive — both winning the city because the election was a clear referendum on Israel’s assault against Gaza. “Even though social issues were there, a huge focus was on the Middle East and the war,” he said. Related Arab and Muslim Voters in Michigan: “I Can’t Overlook Genocide” In a statement, Nihad Awad, the national executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said the huge shift of votes to Trump could be attributed to Harris’s failure to take a stronger position on Gaza. “Rather than listening to the clear majority of American who support both a ceasefire and a suspension of weapons to Israel, Vice President Harris only struck a slightly more sympathetic tone toward Palestinians while sticking with the substance of President Biden’s disastrous stance,” said Awad. “This led to an unprecedented shift of support from Muslim, Arab, and other communities who traditionally vote for Democratic presidents.” “Very Hard Thing to Do” Trump campaigned aggressively for the Arab and Muslim vote in Michigan, paying several visits in the race’s final weeks to Hamtramck, which has an all-Muslim city council, and Dearborn. Trump cast himself as the peace candidate, and Awad called on him to follow through. “The president-elect should fulfill his campaign pledge to pursue peace abroad, including by ending the war on Gaza. However, this must be a real peace based on justice, freedom, and a state for the Palestinian people,” Awad said. Dearborn was a center of the national “Uncommitted” movement, which sought to push the administration to shift its policies toward Israel. Harris rejected Uncommitted’s campaign to have a Palestinian American speaker address the Democratic National Convention in August. David Dulio, a professor at Oakland University in Michigan, said that given such activism in the area, Trump’s overperformance was not entirely surprising. “We have known this has been a possibility for months going all the way back to the presidential primary when Uncommitted gets 100,00 votes statewide,” Dulio said. “We knew that this was a point of contention in these three Arab American communities. We knew that many people in those communities were not and are not happy with the current administration’s policy with respect to Israel and the war in Gaza.” Speaking at a press conference Wednesday, Uncommitted movement co-founder Abbas Alawieh said the people voting for Trump included his own family members. “Folks who voted for Trump are my cousins, my friends, people who were tasked with a very difficult task of carrying a lot of grief, and trying to do a politically savvy thing at the same time,” Alawieh said. “It’s a very hard thing to do.” Alawieh said he hoped the “gamble” of voting for Trump in an attempt to end the war will pay off, but he expected members of his movement to be organizing in the streets to pressure politicians of both major parties. “It’s going to be a tough road,” he said. “And for a lot of us, our activism, our organizing, might even be criminalized. Facebook Censors Gone Wild James Bovard Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg recently lamented how his company groveled to federal demands to censor any criticism of the Biden administration’s Covid policy. But is Facebook really launching a “Brave New World” era of free speech? Facebook notified me on Sunday morning that eight years ago, I posted a link to my Washington Times article warning of Dictatorial Democracy regardless of whether Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump won the 2016 election. The opening sentence set the tone: “The 2016 election campaign is mortifying millions of Americans in part because the presidency has become far more dangerous in recent times.” Facebook always gives users the option to “share” a “Memory” link. I tapped the button to automatically send a notice on “Dictatorial Democracy” to all my Facebook friends and followers. No such luck: Facebook notified me that they had banned sharing the piece because it violated Facebook “Community Standards.” Maybe if I had simply howled about one of the current presidential candidates being Hitler, that would have satisfied Facebook’s Community Standards? Is suppressing any mention of dictatorship a policy designed to placate federal overseers? Or are Facebook’s Community Standards guardians really as dumb as Tim Walz? Why was mentioning “dictatorial democracy” acceptable in 2016 but forbidden in 2024? After Facebook blocked my repost of the Dictatorial Democracy piece, I posted the above photo mocking their decision. Facebook banned the photo, too. Facebook permitted me to request a review of that ban. The response offered a multiple-choice menu of protests. I was disappointed there was not a “You people are boneheads” option. Their “review” process seemed as vapid as their original decree: And how does the process work? Facebook’s A.I. software checks to confirm the initial decision by Facebook A.I. to ban a post. I sit on the edge of my chair, awaiting the verdict from Facebook software. Actually, I thrashed Facebook seven years ago in USA Today for suppressing a post I did about FBI atrocities at Waco, Texas in 1993. That piece noted the Waco fire image was not the first time that Facebook erased an iconic image that the US government would be happy to see vanish. Facebook likely deleted thousands of postings of the 1972 photo of a young South Vietnamese girl running naked after a plane dropped napalm on her village. After coming under severe criticism last year, Facebook announced that it would no longer suppress that image. But Facebook was already shamelessly craven to foreign governments, including Germany, Turkey, Pakistan, and India. I warned that Facebook’s “nonchalance about engaging in the electronic equivalent of book burning abroad” signaled that the company could do the same here. Actually, the Dictatorial Democracy ban might not be the most inane ruling I have seen from Facebook this year. In June, they blocked my posting a link to a Future of Freedom Foundation podcast because it contained the cover image of my new book, Last Rights: The Destruction of American Liberty. Facebook claimed my post violated “community standards” because it was spam. How could it be spam if it was clearly labeled and included a video and link from a reputable organization – well, at least reputable to libertarians, anarchists, and hooligans? Facebook notified me that I could appeal their ruling. Fine – I can explain their blunder in three sentences. No such option. Instead, they offered a series of pages where I could check a box that looked like it was designed for kindergarten. “It’s not offensive in my region” – ya, that’s a great option to sway the Facebook Content Moderation Police in Manila. I am pretty sure that the Facebook Appellate Division never sent me their verdict on this content. Looking at that strikedown of my book cover, I wondered: Has Facebook gone full Idiocracy? Or maybe that already happened during Covid? Facebook placated the Biden White House by promising to delete any posts or comments that suggested “COVID-19 is man-made or manufactured” – even though federal agencies now admit that the virus likely came out of a US government-funded lab in Wuhan. On March 21, 2021, White House Director of Digital Strategy Rob Flaherty notified Facebook that suppressing false information on Covid was not enough. A Facebook official assured the White House that Facebook was also suppressing “often-true content” that might discourage people from getting vaccinated. White House officials even ordered Facebook to delete humorous memes, including a parody of a future television ad: “Did you or a loved one take the Covid vaccine? You may be entitled…” President Biden denounced Facebook for killing people because it did not mindlessly repeat the Party Line on Covid. In June 2023, Mark Zuckerberg admitted that the feds “asked for a bunch of things to be censored that, in retrospect, ended up being more debatable or true. That stuff…really undermines trust.” A few weeks after Zuckerberg’s comment, Federal Judge Terry Doughty ruled that the White House and federal agencies “engaged in coercion of social media companies to such an extent that the decisions of the social media companies should be deemed that of the Government.” Doughty slammed the Biden administration for committing potentially “the most massive attack against free speech in United States history.” Unfortunately, condemnations of federal censorship by federal judges apparently did nothing to put starch into Facebook’s spine. Or maybe Facebook would massively censor its users even if it didn’t expect any rewards from Washington? On August 27, Zuckerberg sent a letter to a Congressional committee stating that “senior officials from the Biden administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured” Facebook to censor content. Zuckerberg regretted that his company cowered, more or less: “I regret that we were not more outspoken about it….We made some choices that, with the benefit of hindsight and new information, we wouldn’t make today.” But Zuck promised that Facebook would “not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration” in the future. So we should trust that Facebook will not again become a willing executioner of Americans’ freedom of speech, except for any references to “dictator” that might discomfit people? My 2016 piece declared, “The United States may be on the verge of the biggest legitimacy crisis since the Civil War.” That legitimacy crisis has worsened over the past two presidential terms. The demolition of free speech by social media companies such as Facebook is compounding the loss of trust in American institutions. If it is no longer safe to mention the word “dictator” regarding presidential candidates, the First Amendment will be worth less than the most noxious campaign promise. Monkeypox: Evidence Of The "Pandemic Preparedness" Lie Authored by Clayton Baker via The Brownstone Institute, This article was co-authored by Brian Hooker, PhD and Heather Ray. “Pandemic Preparedness,” and the gain-of-function research that underlies it, operates under a grand deception, a big lie. The Biological Weapons Convention, which every major nation has signed, “prohibits the development, production, acquisition, transfer, stockpiling and use of biological and toxin weapons.” As a result, gain-of-function research – the process of taking viruses and other pathogens found in nature and making them more transmissible and dangerous in humans – must be justified by defining it as something other than what it really is – namely, the creation of biological weapons and countermeasures for those weapons. The grand deception – the big lie – used to justify gain-of-function research goes something like this: “We need to alter pathogens in the lab to anticipate the mutations that just might occur in nature, and to promote the production of vaccines to protect humanity from these theoretical superbugs.” In truth, there is no legitimate reason to create superbugs in the laboratory. One does not save Tokyo by creating Godzilla. Unfortunately, science can be both complicated and confusing, especially when the “experts” are intentionally untruthful. This grand deception has therefore worked for decades, and a gigantic, profitable, and frankly terrifying pandemic preparedness industry involving governments, non-governmental organizations, Big Pharma, and universities has grown as a result. In order to expose and discredit a big lie that has persisted for such a long time, sometimes a “smoking gun” is needed – that is, a piece of clear and obvious evidence that the long-held premise is false. In the case of the big lie surrounding gain-of-function research and the pandemic preparedness industry, monkeypox serves the role of smoking gun. Monkeypox virus is back in the news in 2024, as one of the pandemic industrial complex’s leading candidates for the so-called “Disease X” about which the World Health Organization has been sounding its relentless alarm. (Of course, this is the second time monkeypox has been trotted out in recent years, after the 2022 monkeypox fear porn campaign in the United States that ultimately fizzled out.) Once one gains a thorough understanding of both the monkeypox virus’s peculiar history in the US, as well as the natural characteristics of the virus, one can easily see through the grand deception – the big lie – that is used to justify gain-of-function research and the entire “pandemic preparedness” industry. Monkeypox Comes to America In 2003, through exotic pet importation, 35 people in six US states were confirmed to have been infected with the clade II type of the monkeypox virus. The humans contracted the disease from infected prairie dogs, kept as pets, that had themselves been exposed to either contaminated imported animals or other individuals infected with the virus. All human cases made a full recovery without lasting effects. This outbreak was an odd, self-limited, and entirely incidental occurrence of a rare and essentially non-lethal virus finding its way to the US by specific and preventable circumstances. In a world of sensible and ethical public health practices, this event should have prompted a reasonable, proportionate response, such as increased precautions regarding the exotic animal trade. Instead, this incident opened the floodgates to dangerous research by scientists who sought to identify a strain of monkeypox that could easily be passed to humans by way of aerosol transmission. In 2009, Christina Hutson and her team at the CDC collaborated with Jorge Osorio at the University of Wisconsin to investigate the transmissibility of monkeypox. Again, in 2012, Hutson teamed with other universities to test and compare the transmissibility of the monkeypox virus in rodents, ultimately determining in those experiments that “transmission of viruses from each of the MPXV clade was minimal via respiratory transmission.” Again, in a sensible and ethical world, these findings might have shut the door on ill-advised research on monkeypox. As we shall see, that was not the case. Monkeypox: A Lumbering Giant of a Virus The monkeypox virus itself is a strange candidate indeed to try to manipulate in the manner Hutson and Osorio sought. Unlike small, simple, rapidly mutating RNA respiratory viruses like Influenza viruses or coronaviruses, monkeypox is, in the virus world, a slow-moving, lumbering giant. The most ‘successful’ bioweapon in human history is the SARS CoV-2 coronavirus that causes Covid. It encodes only 29 proteins in its single-stranded, RNA genome, which is correspondingly small – slightly less than 30,000 bases in length. With its genetic simplicity and its single-stranded RNA genome, it mutates very rapidly. The virus itself is small as well – it is only about 100 nanometers in diameter and weighs about 1 femtogram (or 0.000000000000001 gram). As one might expect, this virus is readily transmitted through the airborne route. Monkeypox virus, by contrast, is one of the largest and most complex viruses in existence. It can be up to 450 nm long and 260 nm wide, and its double-stranded DNA genome has nearly 200,000 base pairs. With this lengthy, complex genome, encoded in more stable, double-stranded DNA, it mutates slowly. This large virus – a giant, by viral standards – does not transmit by the aerosol route. Rather, it is transmitted by close contact, including sexual intercourse (as became well known during the 2022 monkeypox scare), as well as the hunting, slaughtering, and eating of bushmeat. Consider also that naturally occurring monkeypox is much less deadly to humans than the pandemic planners and fear pornographers typically advertise. The WHO has since reported on the international monkeypox outbreak that occurred in 2022. As of January 2023, the total number of confirmed cases was 84,716, with 80 total deaths. Thus, the case fatality rate during that outbreak was less than one death in every thousand cases, 100 times less than the frequently-cited case-fatality rate of 10%. Strictly speaking, the frequently cited 10% case-fatality rate refers only to the more virulent clade I of monkeypox. However, many authorities have picked up the bad habit of bandying about the 10% figure indiscriminately of clade. Furthermore, even with clade I, this rate appears to be a significant exaggeration. For example, in its webpage on endemic clade I Monkeypox in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the CDC states that “Since January 1, 2024, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has reported more than 31,000 suspect mpox cases and nearly 1,000 deaths.” These numbers result in a case fatality rate of around 3%. There are numerous other threats to human health that are more worthy of time, funding, and effort. For example, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where monkeypox is endemic, about eighty times more people die of malaria than of monkeypox. Malaria is both preventable and curable with proper diagnosis and access to inexpensive medications. This tragic death toll from malaria illustrates how common, deadly, but relatively unprofitable diseases are neglected by supposedly philanthropic entities such as the WHO. Instead, they heavily promote the grand deception of pandemic preparedness and gain-of-function research. Given the monkeypox virus’s sheer size, complexity, low rate of mutation, relatively stable DNA genome, and instability when exposed to oxygen, the likelihood of it ever naturally mutating into an airborne pathogen is remote. There is simply no legitimate reason to monkey with its genome in the lab (pun intended). Add to the mix its limited transmissibility and low mortality (especially for clade II), and any honest and competent scientist truly seeking to serve humanity would recognize that naturally occurring monkeypox is a relatively low public health priority and a marginal-at-best vaccine candidate – especially for the world population at large. But Anthony Fauci and his cronies at NIAID saw things differently. Fauci and Friends, at It Again In 2015, AnthonFauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) covertly approved a dangerous gain-of-function experiment that would genetically manipulate the monkeypox virus to create a more virulent and transmissible pathogen that would potentially pose a grave threat to humans. Instead of raising the alarm about this proposal to create a deadly hybrid monkeypox virus, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and NIAID itself deceptively hid the project’s approval from the oversight of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, by burying funding for the experiment in an alternate grant. The project was proposed by Dr. Bernard Moss, a long-time friend and colleague of Fauci at NIAID. Moss, who has accumulated multiple US patents related to monkeypox, intended to insert virulence genes from the more severe form of monkeypox, clade I (Congo Basin clade), in the “backbone” of the more transmissible monkeypox virus, clade II (West Africa clade). This project would create a much more dangerous version of monkeypox with the virulence of clade I and the transmissibility of clade II. This chimeric form of monkeypox would not originate in nature, as different clades of DNA viruses do not naturally transpose genes. It is unknown whether this ill-advised, highly dangerous, and deceitfully approved project was completed. Fauci and Moss’s sleight-of-hand was discovered in 2022, prompting a seven-month Congressional investigation. The House Committee Report (page 6) states that “HHS, the NIH, and NIAID continue to insist the GOFROC (gain-of-function research of concern) experiment transferring material from clade I to clade II was never conducted, despite being approved for a period of over 8 years. However, HHS has repeatedly refused to produce any documents that corroborate this claim.” Is a weaponized form of monkeypox in existence? If so, Fauci, Moss, and friends aren’t telling. What is known is that there was no legitimate reason to conduct such experiments, and that those involved knew this, as they hid the project from their overseers. The only logical assumption about the intent of the research is that it was to create a weaponized version of monkeypox. The House Committee’s conclusions on Fauci’s NIAID as a whole are damning: The primary conclusion drawn at this point in the investigation is that NIAID cannot be trusted to oversee its own research of pathogens responsibly. It cannot be trusted to determine whether an experiment on a potential pandemic pathogen or enhanced potential pandemic pathogen poses unacceptable biosafety risk or a serious public health threat. Lastly, NIAID cannot be trusted to honestly communicate with Congress and the public about controversial GOFROC experiments. (page 8) NIAID couldn’t be trusted about Covid. They cannot be trusted about monkeypox, either. According to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, they cannot be trusted, period. To summarize: in nature, monkeypox disease is a relatively rare, usually mild viral illness transmitted through behaviorally modifiable forms of close contact such as sexual intercourse and the hunting and eating of bushmeat. The infectious agent is a very large, complex DNA virus that transmits poorly from person to person and is much less prone to mutation than numerous other viruses. Once one realizes all this, it becomes frankly preposterous to attempt to justify gain-of-function research on such a pathogen for any legitimate purpose.
