I'm a recent arrival at Somee, and see some very nice things, and some not-so-nice things. So far, I'm here for some sense of shared interests. I'm exploring, and seeing if thre are any people whose expressions resonate with me.

I do like seeing posts by thoughtful, creative and compassionate people. That means showing insight into oneself and the world around us. It means pro-social justice, pro-enviroment, limits on economic growth and profit-making. Womens' rights, political correctness, and rigorous thinking are all welcome. I think it's important to show compassion, and make room for other people to be at peace with each other. It's good to be unconventional, so long as it is also peaceable.

I don't like seeing posts about hate, conspiracies, or moneymaking. I don't do crypto or NFTs, even though that's a basic element of Somee. The blockchain is overused and exploited. So don't ask. Reactionaries are unwelcome. Overt religiosity is unwelcome. Conventional gender expectations are unwelcome. We should each be doing what we can to unpick restrictive social expectations.

I have followed a very small number of people, and that's the way it will stay. Friend requests will be denied unless we have gotten to know each other.
