  • Gonna start this book next. Just saw it in the library and heck why not?
I don't really expect to learn much new because when these guys ("the minimalists") became internet hits +/- 15 years ago l already looked into their philosophy.
Minimalism is definitely worth looking into but it makes way more sense if you're living alone. If you have a family, well, good luck buddy ????

  • My artis friend Richard had his 40 year old on demand water heater quit so I installed a new one. Pretty old shack he lives in out here in the outback, so I just used sharkbite quick connection system for the plumbing and valves. He also decided that he wanted a washing machine after 20+ years of either hand washing or paying others to do it so I built him a minimalist washroom fo his new kick ass Samsung washer. The roof has been covered with tarps to stop rain from leaking, a site you see a lot here in Hawaii on old houses. It was a fun project and i enjoy helping others improve their situation any way I can.
