Waking up this Saturday morning, I didn’t expect that my Bible story about financial freedom will be upvoted by the curators on Hive, LeoFinance, and other front ends, and particularly @leo.voter. Consequently, I got motivated to continue this morning with the third part of this series on The Way to Financial Freedom. I also intend to submit this present article to the Zealy campaign to complete The Writer Quest under Weekly Side Quests.
Before I proceed, let me just share with you the first two articles I published in this series to provide a sense of continuity. I consider this important to consider the specific context I have in mind to avoid possible misconceptions:

The Way to Financial Freedom Part 1

The Way to Financial Freedom Part 2

After providing the links above to my previous article, I now feel at ease to resume the second part of our content in this story taken from the Old Testament. This time, I want to share an overview of three basic principles taken from Exodus Chapter 1 about the evil of tyranny and oppression.
    Three Basic Principles
Political oppression is a result of ignorance, vs. 1 -8.
To apply this insight to our time is unthinkable for our generation prides itself on living in The Information Age. But the kind of ignorance I am referring to based on our story is not the lack of technical or professional information, but the absence of historical knowledge. As the popular saying goes, “Ignorance of the past is bound to repeat its mistake.” And this is the kind of ignorance that we see here.
For your information, there is a long time gap between the closing of the first book of the Bible, Genesis, and the opening of the second book, Exodus. During that interval, Joseph and all his brothers and all that generation died. And at the same time, Genesis concluded with a moderate size of Israel prospering in Egypt while Exodus starts with a nation-sized Israel suffering slavery in Egypt. And the primary cause of this slavery was ignorance of the past. Particularly, it was ignorance of Joseph and how his God saved Egypt and made its name great. Such ignorance resulted in a risky decision that would endanger the future of the nation. Pharaoh committed not only an erroneous economic decision by enslaving productive people but also placed Egypt in great danger by challenging the God of Israel.
Notice here is the difference between the Pharaoh of Joseph's time and the Pharaoh of Moses' time. Both were kings, but their response to the God of Israel was different. In the case of the Pharaoh of Joseph's day, he acknowledged Joseph's access to accurate secret knowledge, and he honored him and his family, granting Joseph power and authority over Egypt. That Pharaoh bowed down to God's sovereignty and God's word. As a result, God blessed his kingdom.
In contrast, the Pharaoh of Moses' time was ignorant of Joseph and his deeds and oppressed the Israelites with forced labor. Such a mistake was both an economic disaster and a direct challenge to the God of Israel.
We see in this story that ignorance of the past is a very dangerous thing. Many people, particularly policymakers, ignore not only the lessons of the past but also the applicability of God's law in our time. As a result of this kind of ignorance, the world now is in a serious crisis. And instead of returning to God and his law and sound economic practice, civil governments continue to despise either knowing or unknowingly the law of God in their destructive monetary and public policies.
Take for instance the zero-interest rate policy (ZIRP) and negative interest rate policy (NIRP). Such policies were not only punishing the savers but robbing the people of their savings. These policies discourage saving and promote borrowing. As King Solomon said, "The borrower is a slave to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). And so, debt is a form of slavery and it is very popular in our time. Today, the entire global economy is operating based on debt. Nations, corporations, and families are immersed in debt. Debt is the modern version of ancient oppression and slavery.
I think not until our generation will return to the serious study of God's law and apply it to our time, we cannot escape the present crisis. I also believe that the study and application of God's law must first start with Christian families and Christian churches. Through the witness of the Christian Church, society will be changed.
Oppression is promoted through popular political speech, vs. 9-14.
Pharaoh said, "Look, the Israelites have become much too numerous for us. Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country." Something is wrong with this political speech. The King didn't like the Israelites, particularly their growing number. The King was afraid that the Jews might join their enemies and leave the country. And so, to prevent the dangers caused by population growth, war threat, and massive exodus, Pharaoh came up with a solution: slavery.
This is wrong because the Israelites came to Egypt a generation ago as free people. Egypt has been blessed economically through the productivity of the Jews. By making them slaves, Pharaoh was depriving them of their basic human right, to live free. And not only that, Pharaoh expected the Jews to remain productive to contribute to the national economy under tyrannical rule. Pharaoh wanted economic growth despite his violation of God's law. Such public policy would certainly end in disaster.
All the human capital of the Jews was focused to serve Pharaoh's end. It was such a great waste of human capital. Like Pharaoh, many socialists in the past such as Hitler, Mao Zedong, Lenin, and Stalin committed great mistakes by wasting both the lives and the resources of their people under tyrannical rule. Many central planners these days ignore the lessons of the past and they keep repeating the mistakes of the past. These modern versions of tyranny are wasteful and ultimately self-destructive.
Again, as God's people, we must know what the law of God says about these things. Without such knowledge, we will unknowingly embrace ideas that are in reality disastrous not only to us and the society at large but also to the next generation. Only the law of God can give us the wisdom to discern whether a political speech is consistent with the teachings of the Bible or not.
Oppression is justified through unjust laws, vs. 15 – 22.
Pharaoh thought that by oppressing the Jews, their number would decrease. But the Bible said, "The more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so, the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites." Realizing that his original plan failed, Pharaoh came up with another evil plan: to kill the Jewish boy infants. However, the midwives feared God and did not obey what the King told them. This is an example of civil disobedience against a tyrannical law. And so, Pharaoh made a wicked law: throw every boy that is born into the Nile. The law has been weaponized to kill infants. Yes, legislators no longer make laws with the outright intent of killing people, but they are done nevertheless in a more subtle way. A scrutiny of many laws in our time, and you will see how destructive they are to life, freedom, and property.
Here, political leaders make laws to justify their tyranny and oppression. The order of Pharaoh was legal as far as Egyptian law is concerned. Without the law of God, there is no way we can say whether such a law is just or not. Nations' laws are under God's law. If political leaders are making laws against the law of God, we as Christians should follow what the Hebrew midwives did. In the New Testament, Peter said, "We must obey God rather than men!" Many politicians these days think that the law of God has nothing to say about public policy, and so they make laws and policies, which are contrary to God's law. Popular examples of these include abortion, same-sex marriage, and the current monetary system. In the eyes of God, these are murder, immorality, and theft. By making these kinds of laws, civil governments have made sins legal.
And so, we see that Exodus chapter 1 teaches us that ignorance of the past results in oppression, popular political speech promotes oppression, and unjust laws justify oppression. This type of oppression did not stop in Moses' time. The spirit of the Pharaoh of Moses’ time still lives especially in a time of crisis where we live right now.
When governments and politicians ignore the law of God and make humanistic laws and economic decisions, nations suffer from a new kind of slavery. Yes, by knowing the truth that is in Jesus, we are now set free from the power of sin, including legal plunder. And one of its most subtle forms is the existing monetary system of fiat currency. To explain the character and nature of fiat currency would require longer elaboration, which is impossible for us to achieve in this short article. What I intend to do is to offer you a way to understand our current situation for you to find a way out of financial slavery. And there is no better way to do that than to understand what is currently happening in the world of finance and technology. And that will be the topic for the next three articles.
    Grace and peace!

    Hi great people,
A wonderful Wednesday morning from this end and hope you had a splendid night too.
In response to the prompt for the second edition I titled it thus; Helping a 1960s individual with smartphone
Smartphone has been a challenge to so many people especially those in the 1960s. It will take certain Deliberate attributes to deal with the challenge of describing what smartphone entails, how would you it and the way to enjoy the best out of it.
The smartphone is in a different generation compared to 60s generation. The role of smartphones in the present generation can't be overemphasized because it's benefits are too numerous that one can't share all like in the present ICT generation where school assignment, snapshots, communication, registration, internet surfing etc are carried out via this device.
Follow me gradually as I share the experience of someone aged with the issue of smartphones.
I had the privilege to have a friend and just like a father that has been so dear to me but doesn't know how to operate his smartphone very though advanced in age.
In fact there are myths that many people have about smartphone within the African society. Some believe that is a sign of end time which the devil want to use to manipulate the destiny of men. However on his own part, he believes that people of his category don't suppose to use such sophisticated device since it doesn't synchronised with their generation.
With such bias thought emanating from him, I needed to first and foremost brainwashed him very and open the reality of the use of smartphones to him. I had to disagree with any myth that exists about smartphone as not an agent of destruction rather is a good platform to enable other tasks to be done faster and better. I told him knowledge is key to everything and what you don't know, abuse might be inevitable.
Furthermore, I said the devil can use anything if he wants to destroy lives not just smartphone would he use but so many other things therefore disabuse your mind from such believe system.
    I had to highlight some key vital significance of smartphones thus;

Smartphone helps to bridge the gap between the old and new. You can dig into history via smartphone by using the barcode scanner, internet facility etc.
Smartphone has the capacity to store long term information through the Google emails.
Before desktop computer has been the order of the day and some laptops however today with the introduction of smartphones, that which can be done in computer smartphone does it even better. Most of the registration for school or of any kind that I've ever done was via my smartphone. This makes work to be done easily and saves more time/energy. Aside that it's also more portable and pocketable.
From the name smartphone that suggests that this device is very smart and enables more tasks to be done smartly.

It doesn't take much to learn how to use the smartphone because it's self interactive with videos available. At the end, my friend operates the smartphone like someone that has been using it before.
thanks for all the comments and reading through.

  • Happy mid-week my friends and family. Hope you are doing well today? Am here to be part of this mid-week contest edition.

Trying to work on people's believe system is not so easy as the persons had already assume how things should be. Well, a man that stops learning is on his way to say good bye to the mother Earth, life is a process and we progress by doing new things or discovering new ways of doing things. This brings me to the topic of the day, *how I will convince someone of 1960's about the importance of smartphone.

Those in the primitive age does not believe one should spend so much fortune in trevial things their minds always heads towards investment on properties and sometimes good food. I have two stories of how I was able to convince my mother and my mother inlaw on the importance of using smart gadget's.

You can remember in my last publication on Monday I spoke of how I lost my laptop which I got for the purpose of my project in school. Now I was left with no other option than to use my smart phone to source for material's for my project. My mother will not want to hear anything relating to buying new laptop. After my school work, it was now my younger siblings turn to face what I faced then I opened opened up to her that this phone we hold is not just meant for calls. I made her understand that it helps to save time and energy, the time and money one use in going to the library can be used to get data and access information and more online. Well, my Mom was not so difficult to convince because at least she believe in laptop and our last born got an award of a laptop when he was still in the secondary school, also looking practically from my own experience she gave in.

Coming to my mother inlaw, it was not really easy first it's a different environment and most people here believe in physical work and enjoy using cheap articles. Recently my husband's phone had calibrator issue so we had to make use of one phone. When she enquired of how much it will cost for the phone to be fixed I told her 10k naira , she shouted. Then I took the time to make her understand that this phone she is looking at is an office. Most people now don't need to go to the physical office to make ends meet. Reluctantly she accepted what I said because I brought many instances to convince her.

*Do you know why many from the 1960's don't believe in smart phone?* It has been recorded that many fraudulent activities are being carried out with phone. There are even those of much younger age who do not believe that something positive can be done with this phone that profits you and I. Few weeks back I was conversing with a young lady she said that most things they do online is Yahoo Yahoo. I was like, that's because you have not met the correct and current platforms.

My advice now is, for we that have the write knowledge we can do well to keep informing people of the importance of this smartphone, let's be the example and keep telling people the good ways that exits with smartphone. Also let's look away from the negative ways

Cryptocurrency, has gained a reputation for being falsely viewed as a scam for several reasons. While it is important to note that not all cryptocurrencies are scams, there have been cases of fraudulent activities and scams within the crypto space that have contributed to this perception. Here are some factors that have influenced the negative perception of cryptocurrencies:
Lack of regulation: Cryptocurrencies operate in a relatively unregulated environment compared to traditional financial systems. This lack of oversight has allowed for fraudulent schemes and scams to emerge, causing financial losses for individuals. The absence of clear regulations and standards has made it easier for scammers to exploit unsuspecting investors.
Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs): ICOs are a fundraising mechanism used by cryptocurrency projects to raise capital. While many legitimate projects have successfully utilized ICOs, there have also been numerous cases of fraudulent ICOs. Some projects have collected funds through ICOs and then disappeared, leaving investors with worthless tokens.

  • I will start with an introduction. My parents are of Jewish Ancestry. My Dad is specifically of mostly Ashkenazi Jewish Descent. My dad taught me that Socialism was a good thing, and that Capitalism was the reason for Tyranny, Oppression, divisiveness and greed. My dad defended Countries such as Cuba and Venezuela, and opposed the U.S for intervening in their Affairs. My dad always painted the U.S as a greedy evil Capitalist Country that coerced and sanctioned other Countries that weren't doing its bidding.

So, you can imagine. Just the Mention of right leaning Conservatism to me was repugnant. I could never understand why Conservatives cared not about the poor, yet professed a Christian faith. I was also taught that Jesus was a Socialist. Bear in mind however, that i did not know the real definition of Socialism. The only definition i knew was the watered down pseudo definition taught by State Controlled entities such as Public Schools and what my father taught me.

I was taught Hitler was an example of NEO Liberailism, and that he privatized the Industries and crushed the Trade Unions, which is a real distortion of the actual facts. My wife is also of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. People however, were persecuted in Moldova because of their Jewish heritage. So, her family needed to keep that fact silenced in order to survive. My wife experienced real socialism first hand. My wife knew what a disaster leftist ideology is.

When my wife was first introduced to me by a friend. The whole purpose of us meeting was to study the Torah, and because i had sat at Yeshivot, know hermaneutics ect, was the reason as to why my wife wanted to meet me and why she wanted to study with me. Little did i know that i had no understanding of the true definiton of my political ideology.

Although i did conquer her misconceptions and misunderstandings of the bible, and offered irrefutable evidence and context from the Hebrew and other sources. I was not very effective when it came to politics. When she would tell me about the Socialism she lived through. I would tell her that it wasn't real Socialism, and would even tell her that her country was right leaning and conservative, and that is why only a few in her country were extremely rich, and the rest of the population was extremelly poor.

It took me years before i finally opened my eyes, decided to investigate and challenge my ideology. I was a green partier and thought we were fighting for people's civil rights and were against the Central bankers and Government. I was truly deceived in believing that Socialism was a fight against tyranny, and that the revolution was an act of righteousness. My dad was a huge proponent of Franklin D. Roosevelt. I was taught that FDR did great things, such as levi high taxations for the rich. In fact, my dad praised FDR's 96% tax on the rich. Mussolini considered FDR a Fascist like him, and FDR was enamoured by Italian Fascism, which made no sense to me, as being a proponent of the left, Fascism was repugnant to me.

The reality really was that my ideology was Fascist, i was just completely in the dark about it. I was taught that Government controlled Trade Unions were good and were there to defend my rights. Fascism by definiton is Trade Unionism. All of those people blaming right leaning Conservatives of being Fascist on one hand, and on the other they are supporting the Unions are by definiton the Fascist. Mussolini was an Anarcho Syndiclist, which is an oxymoron, but lets just role with it. Syndicates are Trade Unions. The Difference is that the Italians called them Corporations and the Soviets called them Syndicates. Hence, Syndicalism is Trade Unionism, and Trade Unionism is Fascism. So, when the Marxist call you a Fascist for being on the right. Make them aware that by definition, they are the Syndicalist and therefore they are the Fascist. None of these Marxist even know what they are saying when they call people Fascist. None of them can even define fascism.

All of that being said. I am now ready to begin on explaining the Title of my post which is Holocaust VS National Socialism, and Holocaust VS Marxism.

I owe a lot of the Knowledge I've acquired to Tik who has indepth Documentaries Explaining the differences between Public and Private, Socialism and Capitalism. If i had known the meaning of these terms, i would have never been a Socialist. Tik challenged my ideology, which led me in challenging my own ideology to see if it passes the test of scrutiny. It indeed did not.

    #1. Holocaust VS National Socialism

The National Socialist Trolls as i have mentioned before know the Holocaust did Happen. The only purpose of them denying it, is because they know this is a direct attack on the Marxist who say the Holocaust did happen. It is clear as Tik puts it, that the National Socialists know that Hitler did Socialise the Aryan Racial Collective by removing the Jews from Society. If Hitler did not remove the Jews from Society, that only means that Hitler was not a "National Socialist" and did not Nationalize the masses nor Socialise the Aryan Race as he promised. Hitler did what he promised and the National Socialist know this. And therefore, the Holocaust did happen.

    2. Holocaust VS Marxism

The Marxist claim the Holocaust happened. Yet, they deny the ideology that led to the Holocaust. The Marxist Deny that Hitler was a Socialist and place Hitler on the far right. By denying that Hitler was a Socialist, the Marxist are denying that Hitler Socialized the Aryan Race and are indirectly saying Hitler did not remove the Jews from Society, which is a denial of the Holocaust. The Marxist and other Socialists believe the Holocaust happened. Yet they deny the ideological driver of the Holocaust!

  • I had the opportunity to attend a coffee and cars event, where I stumbled upon an interesting observation. It became evident that most people were captivated by the impressive vehicles on display, often overlooking the captivating stories of the individuals who had worked hard to achieve their dreams. Contrarily, I found myself more intrigued by the mindset and personal growth of these individuals rather than the cars themselves. This experience highlighted the importance of looking beyond material possessions and discovering the lessons hidden within the journeys of successful entrepreneurs.

I conducted several interviews with the exotic car owners and here is what I learned.

    Passion and Purpose:
Successful individuals, regardless of their field, have a deep passion for what they do. They have discovered their purpose and align their actions with it. Finding your passion and understanding your purpose can provide the motivation and drive needed to excel in any endeavor.

    Resilience and Persistence:
Success is often accompanied by setbacks and challenges. Successful individuals demonstrate resilience and persistence, refusing to give up in the face of adversity. They view failures as learning opportunities and use them to fuel their growth. Cultivating resilience and perseverance can help us navigate the ups and downs of life and achieve our goals.

    Continuous Learning:
Lifelong learning is a hallmark of successful individuals. They understand the importance of personal and professional development. They actively seek new knowledge, skills, and experiences to broaden their horizons and adapt to changing circumstances.

    Risk-Taking and Innovation:
Successful individuals are willing to step outside their comfort zones and take calculated risks. They embrace innovation and seek out new opportunities for growth and improvement. By embracing calculated risks and fostering a mindset of innovation, we can discover new paths to success and find unique solutions to challenges.

    Building a Strong Network:
Successful individuals recognize the power of building a strong network of relationships. They surround themselves with supportive and like-minded individuals who inspire and challenge them. Building connections with mentors, peers, and experts in their field provides valuable insights, opportunities, and support throughout their journey.

    Adaptability and Flexibility:
Adaptability is a key trait of successful individuals. They understand that change is inevitable, and they embrace it rather than resisting it. They remain flexible and open-minded, constantly adjusting their strategies and approaches to align with evolving circumstances.

Attending the coffee and cars event provided a unique perspective on self-discovery. While many attendees focused on the cars themselves, I realized that the true essence lay in the stories and mindsets of the individuals behind those vehicles.

  • We held a lively press briefing to fulfill our commitment of regularly engaging with fellow citizens through the media, to discuss matters affecting our nation in various aspects. During the briefing, we reviewed our progress since assuming government leadership, focusing on law and order, the economy, cost of living, healthcare, mining, the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), and agriculture, among other issues.

When we assumed government, our top priority was to ensure stability by addressing lawlessness in public places, intensifying the fight against corruption, and establishing the Economic and Financial Crimes Court. We also increased financial support to the judicial system. Recognizing that law and order is fundamental to our economic growth agenda, we have achieved significant improvements in this area.

Moving forward, we pursued our economic agenda by implementing measures to reduce inflation and stabilize interest and exchange rates. In collaboration with our international partners, we are making progress in the debt restructuring process.

We are aware of the hardships our citizens are facing due to the restoration of a collapsed economy. To alleviate these challenges, we have increased social cash transfers, implemented free education for all, introduced partial withdrawals from the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA), reinstated meal allowances for students in public universities, and ensured equitable distribution of enhanced CDF funds to all constituencies in Zambia.

While we acknowledge the criticism from our colleagues in the opposition, we challenge them to provide alternative solutions to the tangible benefits we have delivered, such as eliminating lawlessness and violence, meal allowances for students, 100% allowances for our armed forces in peacekeeping missions abroad, NAPSA partial withdrawals, marketeer loans, social cash transfers, the increased CDF and the employment of over 41,000 Healthcare workers and Teachers respectively, among many other achievements.

We are committed to continuing our engagement with you, our citizens, through future media conferences.

President of the Republic of Zambia.

Let me start with my first article on Financial Literacy. This is the topic I delivered in one business community sometime in November 2021. I will not do the whole piece here all at once. It will be too much even for me. So, what I will do is just cut that old presentation into several pieces and update them into separate articles of at least 1,000 words each hoping that the piece will qualify for the Finance Writer Quest in Zealy Campaign.
My topic at that time was The Way to Financial Freedom. Others might rename it as Financial Security, but I would rather stick to my old title.
Not a Typical Article on Financial Literacy
At the outset, let me warn you, that it is not a typical article on financial literacy that you can read out there. Yes, some content might be familiar to you, but the biblical and theological foundations would be something that many would find surprising.
I have been searching for so long among my colleagues for this type of material, but I might be looking for something that might not be in existence or if somebody is doing it, perhaps, it is still in its infancy stage.
As a theological educator, I hope you pardon me, I cannot go on discussing something in the air as if you and I understand the same thing in the same way without first explaining where I am coming from. That provides the context and somehow facilitates better communication even in written form.
From a broader spectrum, I would say that I am coming from a Judeo-Christian point of view. I believe in God the Creator and I also believe that he did not abandon this world, even though many would find such a belief ridiculous in the face of numerous contradictions we are in today.
Given such a standard, I cannot talk of financial freedom without delineating first my source of information. Yes, I respect our common humanity. We are all the same in the eyes of the Creator whether we believe that He exists or not. That to me is given.
And the Creator I know did not leave us in the dark about the issues we are facing today. Theologians and Bible teachers like me may do, and churches too, but not God. He has given His Words and our task as humans is to examine the claims of God in this matter as revealed in His words. Of course, there are disagreements in dealing with current issues and that should be accepted given the reality of human limitations. They only become a shame on our part when we fail in our duty to make the message clear due to confusing voices from among us who claim to represent Him.
Before I leave my apologetic tone and go straight to my topic, I want to raise another point about the nature of the writing project. I recognize that to some extent my insights are premature and a little bit forced particularly in shifting from biblical history to the contemporary world. I still need to learn a way how to do it. So, if you can forgive me for such an offense, let me now go straight to our topic.
    A Hypothetical Situation
In introducing our theme, let me begin with a hypothetical situation, that might be true for someone out there. This situation is about the possibility that a person can be amid vast opportunities that surround him, and yet he could not see them. Big changes are happening right before his nose, but he could not see them simply because he lacks the necessary tools or prerequisites to give him the capacity to appreciate and be grateful for what’s going on around him.
What I mean by tools is the necessary preparation of the mind and of the soul. The mind is prepared by relevant and solid information. This kind of information turns into knowledge once it is utilized to bring change.
The other kind of preparation is more difficult because it is how we respond to the lessons of life, whether as someone would say, we would either be better or bitter. Such a person can only be prepared if he has undergone a painful experience in life that one conference speaker describes as a “mind-blowing, soul-shaking, and seemingly world-ending experience.” I see such emotional preparation as very important for that person to see what’s going on around the world.
What COVID-19 and the lockdown did to us is to provide such kind of preparation. Responses vary to the current challenges that we are facing right now. Some just gave up and gave in to depression. Others just succumbed to fear and got paralyzed not knowing what to do. Others turned hopeless and no longer see a bright future ahead of them. But still, others see a different kind of world, a world filled with threats and at the same time opportunities.
    Financial Freedom
In this article, as I share with you our topic about The Way to Financial Freedom, I just want you to keep this hypothetical situation in your mind. In the subsequent articles, we will return to it. For now, let us start by providing first a definition of financial freedom. What do we mean by this vision? What is financial freedom by the way?
I first heard this idea way back in 2009 among attendees of wealth courses conducted by a Filipino Chinese business community. Financial freedom for us is a vision of a future financial condition of a person or a family when his/their passive income exceeds his/their monthly expenses. This is a simple definition that I think many are familiar with.
    Passive Income
A follow-up question is appropriate. What is passive income then? Again, this definition is common.
Passive income is different from active income. Active income is either the salary that you earn while working or the profit that you gain while doing small business. Passive income on the other hand is an income or profit that you gain without working for it. It is also called “money or a system working for you” and that’s what I see Hive can do for us if everything works out as I expect. Of course, I recognize that in new technologies like blockchain and cryptocurrency, nothing is certain.
In traditional finance, your money can work for you by way of investing in stocks, bonds, and other related financial products. But you can also lose money investing in these products when the market is in a downtrend. Investing in these vehicles requires understanding the general trend of the market, whether bearish or bullish.
I think that’s it for now. Again, I apologize if you find anything in this article not suitable to your taste, but that’s me, and I can’t deny myself.
In our next article, I will be writing about a biblical history that will somehow provide us with lessons to give us guidance on how to achieve this vision of financial freedom.
    Grace and peace!

Decentralized exchanges have continued to gain popularity in recent years due to their potential advantages over traditional centralized exchanges. DEXs operate on a blockchain network, allowing users to trade cryptocurrencies directly with each other without the need for intermediaries.

DEX as they are fondly called, also known as community-owned or community-driven DEXs, are designed to empower specific communities or within the cryptocurrency space. These DEXs aim to foster inclusivity, transparency, and community governance.

    ![Screenshot_20230518-181907.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmRiUQxcuBVpQhqaU9KdTjWa6RF1LtRWCunj7oWJ7SepTd/Screenshot_20230518-181907.png)

    ### Investing in DEXs can offer certain benefits, such as:

    ### Community-driven governance:
DEXs often provide community members with voting rights and decision-making power. This enables the community to collectively determine the direction and policies of the DEXs.

    ### Alignment with shared values:
DEXs are often created by and for specific communities that share common goals and values. Investing in such projects allows you to support and participate in initiatives that align with your beliefs.

    ### Early adoption potential:
DEXs may attract a dedicated user base from the community they serve. By investing in these projects early on, you may potentially benefit from the growth and adoption of the DEX as its user base expands.

    ![Screenshot_20230518-181832.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmSs54eiyH62DtR6c1xb2je6cKq3JdE5qHP12cX7WYbtT5/Screenshot_20230518-181832.png)

However, it's important to note that investing in any cryptocurrency or DEX carries inherent risks.
    #### Some factors to consider before investing in tribal DEXs (or any investment) include:

    ### Market volatility:
Cryptocurrencies, including tokens associated with DEXs, can be highly volatile. Prices can fluctuate significantly in short periods, which may result in substantial gains or losses.

    ### Regulatory uncertainty:
The regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies and DEXs is still evolving. Changes in regulations or legal actions can impact the operation and value of these platforms.

    ### Technical risks:
Like any blockchain project, DEXs may face technical challenges, security vulnerabilities, or other risks that could affect their functionality and user experience.

    ### Conclusion
Before making any investment decisions, it's crucial to conduct thorough research, assess your risk tolerance, and consider seeking advice from financial professionals or experts with domain-specific knowledge in the cryptocurrency space.
