  • There is in fact a Middle Eastern nation that is in control of a vast, undeclared stockpile of nuclear weapons. This nation does have the capability of deploying those weapons anywhere in the region.

  • Tiny storm system passed without much or any snow. Now we have a nice day with the sun coming up from the Eastern plains this morning. Coffee and a good view not a bad way to start off this Thursday.

  • what do you know about history?
"if there was one that you could regurgitate from your knowledge library / "perspective"

    C-GPT:
As an AI language model, I have access to vast knowledge, including information about history. Here are a few interesting historical facts:

The ancient Egyptians were skilled in mathematics, medicine, and engineering. They built massive pyramids, invented a system of writing known as hieroglyphics, and were one of the first civilizations to use paper.

The Mongol Empire, founded by Genghis Khan in the 13th century, was the largest contiguous empire in history. At its height, it spanned from Eastern Europe to China and encompassed nearly 24 million square kilometers.

The Industrial Revolution, which began in Britain in the late 18th century, transformed the way goods were produced and led to significant social and economic changes. It marked a shift from manual labor to machine-based manufacturing and was a key driver of the modernization of Western society.

The Cold War was a period of geopolitical tension between the United States and the Soviet Union that lasted from the end of World War II until the early 1990s. It was characterized by a nuclear arms race, proxy wars, and a propaganda battle between the two superpowers.

The Civil Rights Movement, which took place in the United States in the 1950s and 60s, was a social and political movement aimed at ending racial segregation and discrimination against African Americans. The movement was led by figures such as Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Malcolm X, and was a major turning point in American history.

I hope you find these historical facts interesting!

  • My entry for the Awesme Tutorials Contest

The best advice I ever received was given to me in two forms by two different cultures. The Westernized version is, "Practice makes perfect" and the Eastern version is, "repetition is the pathway to perfection." The latter was drilled into me by my #Hapkido instructor and the same goes for anyone who has taken #Karate. That's literally why they use #katas.

Growing up you hear the former all the time. As kids, who are just learning anything that's hard and seeing others being good at it, they tend to envy natural ability, rather than finding the motivation to get better at all costs. I not only went through this, but saw my daughter and her friends go through it as well. The excuse is usually, " I'm just not good at that..."

It was the latter that made me realize how difficult it is to translate a simple message into something our adolescents understand and take to heart. Only those with a competitive nature and a drive to win get it right away. It's those with little drive who won't get it until they are adults themselves, if at all.

The key to drive this point home as a parent or role model lays within the saying itself; Repetition, repetition, repetition... You just need to keep driving the message and finding the right words to help them understand that this piece of wisdom goes beyond sports and is relevant throughout every facet of life. It took me a while to understand this and we cannot allow the succeeding generations to dilute it's meaning.

Note- The image I used is a gif I made from an instructional video to teach myself #TaiChi. I broke it up into short pieces to make it easier to practice a piece at a time. I don't move to the next one until I have the preceding one down.I learned so much faster doing this.

  • BREAKING: Buffalo Bills' Damar Hamlin Collapses on Field; NFL Game Suspended

    - Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and was administered CPR before being driven away in an ambulance during Monday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, which was suspended after the injury.

Hamlin collided with Bengals receiver Tee Higgins after a completion. He got to his feet, appeared to adjust his face mask with his right hand, and then fell backward about three seconds later and lay motionless.

Hamlin was surrounded by stunned players from both teams. The ambulance was on the field four minutes after Hamlin collapsed, with many players in tears, including cornerback Tre’Davious White. The quarterbacks — Buffalo’s Josh Allen and Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow — embraced.

When Hamlin was taken off the field 16 minutes after he collapsed, the Bills gathered in prayer. He was driven to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Hamlin's uniform was cut off and he appeared to be getting CPR from medical personnel. ESPN reported on its telecast that Hamlin was also given oxygen.

“No one’s been through this,” longtime NFL quarterback Troy Aikman said on the ESPN telecast. “I’ve never seen anything like it, either.”

Hamlin collapsed at 8:55 p.m. Eastern and the game was suspended 21 minutes later. Players walked off the field slowly and into their locker rooms.

  • Here's another view from the #NaahDaahHey #Trailhead featuring my friend MineYourMind. The trailhead sits at the top of a hill, giving you spectacular #views. This is also the Southernmost trailhead for the 163 mile trail system it connects to. I will definitely be visiting again to hike a few legs of the #trail, if not the whole thing sometime in the future.

Like I mentioned a couple posts ago, this is located around the #BurningCoalVein area within the #LittleMissouriNational Grasslands in #NorthDakota. The Eastern part of the state is quite bland, but as you get closer to the Western border, things get much more scenic. As a matter of fact these #hills and #valleys are still considered part of the #Badlands terrain.

  • What many doesn't understand about the ukraine and their skyrocketed gas prices Thanks to Biden during Obamas office. How Ukraine voted in its 2010 election.
Blue was the pro-Russia candidate and red was pro-NATO.
Ukraine elected the pro-Russia candidate and when he decided to not take an IMF loan, he was overthrown by a violent U.S. government backed coup in 2014.
Viktor Yanukovych rejected the IMF loan because he said the loan would hand over control of Ukraine's natural resources and increase the cost of living for the Ukrainian people.
One month after he was overthrown, the newly installed leadership signed the IMF loan, and the domestic price of gas was immediately increased by 50%.
Despite the fake news propaganda, recent historical precedent aligns with much of eastern Ukraine being pro-Russia.
