Hi guys, I hope everybody had a wonderful start into the year 2023.
Mine was great, with new plans and new goals to be achieved.
In fact, today I had a very busy day and completely forgot to eat lunch. But hey, was I in for a treat when I got home?! I was starving and ready to dig into a hearty dinner. And as if that wasn't enough to make my taste buds dance, I discovered the last few pieces of New Year's Eve cake in the fridge. Talk about a win-win situation!!!!
As I sat down to enjoy my dinner and cake, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I am to have such a delicious meal in front of me. And to top it all off, I get to enjoy the final remnants of a festive celebration. It's like the cherry on top of a very busy, but very satisfying day.
Here's to more rich dinners and leftover holiday treats in the future!

After a relaxing family walk, now it’s dinner time: “Lamb Meatball Soup” with poached eggs, kelp, and a variety of veggies.
I love the sensation of poached eggs when the yolk is still liquid inside, it’s one of my favourites.

After a long day of outdoor activities and work, I'm looking forward to my dinner bonus: a 12 hour slow cook chicken soup that I prepared ahead of time. This is one of my favourite soups. I prepare everything ahead of time and then sit back and wait for the magic to happen. And the possibilities for ingredient combinations are endless.
