• Has anyone by chance heard of the new way for Venezuelans to enter the US legally? through a sponsor (legally in the US)...

    I'm just curious.

  • These days in Venezuela have been very tense, due to the protests of the different public sectors of the country requesting an increase in wages, which is 130 bolivars approximately 5 or 6 $ per month. It is a complete mockery of Venezuelans since to eat, go to the doctor, study and pay for transportation, everything is dollarized. Do you want to know how the socialist government is pressuring educators to stop protesting? They have approved with their national assembly a law that allows recently graduated high school graduates to practice as primary education educators, it is outrageous. It should be noted that currently educational levels have declined significantly, that is, students leave poorly prepared due to the pandemic, due to the absence of students from their classes and of course the country situation. Here the motto of Simón Bolívar that they acclaim and praise so much is perfect: An ignorant people is a blind instrument of its own destruction. If Venezuelans continue to allow these atrocities, professionals will be in short supply too

  • It's an exciting time for baseball fans in Venezuela as the 2023 Caribbean Series is set to take place in our beautiful country! This will be the first time since 2009 that Venezuela has hosted this prestigious tournament, and we couldn't be more thrilled.

The emotion of living this event here in our homeland is truly indescribable. We are so proud to have been chosen as one of four countries participating, and can’t wait for all the action-packed games ahead. The teams from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Puerto Rico will bring a fantastic atmosphere with their passionate supporters who flock from around Latin America just to witness these incredible matches at Estadio Monumental de Caracas, Simon Bolivar.

On top of that excitement comes a sense of unity amongst Venezuelans; it’s amazing how sports can bring us together despite any political or social differences we may have had before hand! It's going to be an unforgettable experience filled with cheerfulness and joyous moments – something which many people need right now after such difficult times recently endured by Venezuelan citizens.

So if you're lucky enough to join us here, then make sure you don't miss out on what promises to be one very special Caribbean Series!

  • It is still difficult to assimilate that many of my relatives are far away and each year we are fewer. In 2023 it will be my husband, my daughter, my nephews and I who will not be there. How difficult is everything. But it is already a reality. The countdown to our departure begins. Regardless of the difficult situation that we Venezuelans are going through, it is never easy to start from scratch.

Some leave in search of a better world with more opportunities.
Others say goodbye to this world.
SADLY, we #Venezuelans do not realize that it is a VILE STRATEGY of @NicolasMaduro to stay in power.

  • Goodnight. I want to dedicate this post to my country, right now it's almost 3 in the morning and I can't sleep. I started watching the networks at 11:30 pm and so far I can't stop crying. It's amazing everything we're going through and every day something else comes out. The image shows one of the most serious problems in Venezuela and it is severe malnutrition in our children, this is worrying because parents do what they can to survive but it is not enough, children are the most affected. On the other hand, we have the disasters in the Aragua state as a result of the landslide and overflow of 2 rivers on different days, the one in tejerias last week and the one yesterday in El Castaño. We still do not know how many deaths this tragedy will have, so far there are 3. But in the Tejerias disaster there were more than 30 deaths and 52 missing. As if that were not enough, all those Venezuelans migrating to the United States and being deported from everywhere. It's a lot of pain to digest. I need strength and I need God to listen to our pleas for

  • With this post I want to show you the work of a pediatrician doctor in Venezuela, she has a foundation called la miradea dres and cares for children with malnutrition. Many children in Venezuela die or end up hospitalized because of this serious disease. The name of the foundation is due to a child who became blind due to severe malnutrition. There are many complications that result from malnutrition. If you want to know her work you can check her Instagram. This is so that they realize the reality of the Venezuelans, who did not choose this communist disgrace. We Venezuelans who did not choose to be born in this land but who love our land with all our being. We Venezuelans are paying dearly for the mistakes of our ancestors by electing Chavez as president and even supporting a coup. History shows us that socialism, communism and anyone who acts outside the law do not have good intentions for the country. So many Venezuelans who died in the marches in vain and no one has the strength to fight anymore. More and more Venezuelans have to leave their land because of these communist scourges, all wolves in sheep's clothing. I have anger, frustration, a deep pain to see my country plunged into misery and not being able to do anything to help in these situations. Friends with cancer or other diseases, relatives, friends of my friends in serious situations, all doing raffles or collaborations to meet the needs. A rich country run by thieves and the world just sat by and watched. Some also to judge. Venezuelans are a plague they say on the networks. What a shame not to be able to do anything. We lost the battle. I am one more Venezuelan who feels pressured to leave her land, her people, but in her I will leave my heart and the deepest desire to see it improve and be free.

  • I have to post this because it is something that worries me a lot. I've been in somee for many years, I think 5 if I'm not mistaken and I know that some judge me for selling and they don't know what I'm selling and why. I had to withdraw some of my voting power out of necessity at home and that's what I sell weekly... With your likes I'm just getting back on my feet. I want to make it clear that I will always continue betting on somee because I am sure that this project will be successful. I am Venezuelan and you will see that there are many Venezuelans here trying to publish and generate content that helps them grow on the platform and get ahead. Those who also sell is because the situation in our country is getting worse. While you in the United States, Russia, Spain or any of those other countries whose purchasing power is higher, have the luxury of eating steaks, barbecue and going on trips for your vacations, we have to make maneuvers to eat meat, have parties or go to the beach on vacation (which is literally 1 hour from my house for example). I do not say this to generate controversy, but rather to raise awareness and be more empathetic with the Venezuelan community. Remember that one day we are up and we don't know when we have to be down. I fell into a great depression and anxiety, which I have not overcome and I have not been able to go to the doctor due to lack of resources. I'm not working, we're literally surviving, but I still ask for God's direction, because I need to hold on to something so I don't fall. This year I won't be able to go to Spain either because with my sister's illness everything got complicated, it's a stressful situation because the situation here is getting more and more serious. I don't want to hurt you, I never would. I just want you to know firsthand how our situation is so that we are not judged. And I tell you that when I leave I will invest about 1000 euros in Somee with my first salary to recover what I sold and more. Later I know that many more blessings will come. Maybe, at that time there will be many who will like me, but can I tell you something? You don't really know the impact of your vote in the life of a Venezuelan, you could literally be saving our life and that of our family. I am not going to upload a photo of my empty refrigerator, nor of my house, I hope that my words have an impact on you. I appreciate you very much and I will always be in Somee sharing the success or failure (I hope it is success). Blessings for all.

  • one of those days in which the car does not want to leave the house, it asks us for a trick, so we have no choice but to take public transport to get around and fulfill our responsibilities and that is fine because we get out of the daily routine, between the traffic, the city, the people give us time to think about many things because when we drive we should not distract our minds, yesterday the trip was enjoyable because that boy boarded the unit to demonstrate his singing talent, he did not do badly I sing very well, we are happy in the morning, interpreting a typical song of our Venezuelan plains, Venezuelan music, that is how we make ourselves known and earn our daily bread, that is how happy Venezuelans are, always maintaining a good mood despite the not so good circumstances due to what we've been through

  • Another platform that closes for Venezuelans, another way that we used to move money between Fiat and cryptos, it is increasingly difficult to make transactions. the guilt of those above is paid by those who strive to get ahead.

Hello to everyone. I want to inform you that I am changing my name of SoMee. I started with my first and last name but my friends fondly call me Roxy. So, over time I made good friends at SoMee, some of whom are gone, but will always be in my heart. In reality, she is an incredible woman that I do not allow myself to forget, I work so hard for the platform and I consider her one of my mentors, thank God I had the opportunity to meet her and I know that she is with God without a doubt. But hey, this is not the purpose of this post. I changed my personal name to Roxy for all the love that SoMee has given me from the beginning, some criticized us for being Venezuelans, they called us opportunists that basically we were only on the page to withdraw and withdraw, that, we did not believe in the project. I, Roxana Cantini known in SoMee as Roxy, Venezuelan by birth, always believed in SoMee, proof of them is the almost 4 years I have been here. Our country is in crisis, we are vulnerable, but I never came here to hurt anyone or to beg for pennies that would allow me to survive. I arrived at SoMee at a critical moment, yes, but it was enough for me to interact with people to know what my destiny would be here. To Melissa, Rafael, Daniel Montgomery, Wiger, Aleao, Scott Guiles and many others, but especially to Christopher Kramer I owe what I have achieved at SoMee. I can only say a total thank you, mainly for the support you have given me since day 1. The focus of my profile has always been to manage it as a personal social network, to show a bit of my work, my life, my experiences, my criticism. .. Now I want to transcend and show everyone but mainly myself that I can do more. The new approach that I want for my profile is to do something like a blog, as you already know I am a pastry chef and I am not really at the level I would like but the intention is to continue growing. I have so many recipes, so much experience in this area that I would like to share with others. Just like SoMee, pastry making allowed me to survive in Venezuela and that's why I want to improve every day doing what I like, interacting with you and working on what I like. I will be publishing the name of my profile in the next few days and I will share the information in the telegram group, I hope to continue counting on the support of everyone, those who have supported me from the beginning but also those who have joined throughout these 4 years. I'll be waiting for you. I really want and believe that SoMee is going to grow and I want to grow with SoMee, to publish quality content and for everyone to be able to interact with me. We are not only here to earn rewards, we are here to interact, we are an innovative social network and we should be proud of what we have. Let's go for more.

  • We Venezuelans are going through so many things and having to see our family leave is something very hard and sad, but when our family returns, even if it is to visit us for a few days, joy overwhelms us. My grandmother was very happy with the return of her son and she makes me very nostalgic because I know that they will only stay for a few days.
