I think I made it too literal....

    What is Life?
How do you tell yourself that you are not just EXISTING but LIVING? I asked this question before but now the question is....
What is End of Life? (E.O.L)
I have seen life from "womb to tomb", some from personal while most are through professional experiences. I worked as a Pediatric Nurse back in the Philippines and now as an RGN in a Geriatric Setting in the UK. I have met middle aged patients when I was in University. I personally experienced to be in between life and death at the age of 11(vehicular accident) and 16(contact sports injury).

    Simple Analogy:
Last night shift, one of the tasks were to destroy/book out expired anticipatory medications or End of Life Meds.
Quick info: anticipatory medications is composed of 4 major drugs administered subcutaneously when a person manifests terminal signs of dying such as breathlessness/ pain, accumulation of resp secretions, agitation, nause and vomiting
Morphine Sulphate, Glycopyrronium Br, Midazolam, Levomepromazine (it took me years to spell them right ????????

Like the photo on top, on a certain angle (facing me) it appears that life doesn't make sense sometimes, in chaos, too fast, too slow. Like the ampoules, there are irregularities in strength and volume and differences in priciples and purpose.
Hence, when you look at a different angle (bottom picture) you can see the wholeness of it, its meaning and its relevance. Although sadly just like what Erik Erikson believed, we only evaluate our life when it is at the end.
