The sad truth that the Dobbs decision gave more power to the 14th Amendment back to the states rather than to the federal government. A lot of these issues specially the ones were conceiving of gender affirming care is going to be greatly damaged by the fact that it's not up to the federal government, but states to make that affirming care. To challenge to the medicine, which would be illegal in some states could probably fall under Article 1, § 8, Clause 3 of the constitution would I my opinion create a case of political (federal) question in the federal courts to hear a case of gender affirming care.
