Anthony Bamford developed the idea back in the 50’s when he saw a RR commercial at the Crewe factory and nearly 60years later as Lord Bamford (peer & JCB Chairman), inspired the rather unique support vehicle, for use with the historic JCB racing team.
The project initially started in 2014, based upon a converted vehicle imported from the USA, with work entrusted to specialist UK coachbuilders Clark & Carter.
Apart from the substantial bodywork modifications, all mechanical components and engine remained as it left the production line, powered by a 6230cc V8.
