Our neighbor Walt finally made the trip down the hill with his miniature "grave digger" backhoe, to expand and level the area where our reserve water tank will be installed. I spent the time helping him by erecting this impromptu makeshift rock wall to retain the excess rocks, and did it all barefoot to strengthen my soles! Today I'm in boots raking it more level and removing surface rock. Will top this with a bunch of volcanic cinder this weekend. Then a layer of old carpet will be put down and the installer will erect it, yay!
