It's a brand new year to start on the right foot
Even if everyone around me tries to ruin it all
Everyone in my life gets a second chance to redeem
Even if it means to apologize to me for their deeds
It's their choice to figure whether to be nice to me
If they refuse to apologize to me it's their loss
I choose to respect people even if they spit at me
As respect towards others gives me the upper hand

Whether they recognize my strong maturity or not
I will always get the upper hand as I deserve it
A new year will give me the chance to start fresh

I love myself more than most people my age do
My attitude is now fully clean and shiny and pure
