Jackson first became famous as a part of a family band called the Jackson 5, which had four number-one hits in the ’70s. However, it was his solo career that made the most lasting mark, with hit records like “Thriller,” “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough,” and “Rock With You.” He also created and promoted revolutionary dance moves, including the famous moonwalk.
