    [PHP. 3:10]

ARE YOU TIRED? IT'S NORMAL IN OUR HUMAN STATE, BUT DON'T ALLOW IT TO TAKE THE PLACE OF GOD!

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isa 40: 31)

    8. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
    9. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
    10. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. (2Co 4: 8-10)

*Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours*(Mark 11:24)

I don't think I owe anyone an apology because of my recent dwelling on emotional issues. I do this to encourage myself and anyone in the same tunnel with me, and I am not certain it's a sin to be frank with one's feelings,as long as they're in line with God's Word.

Flashback on our most recent study,I said we often get stuck between God's promises and their fulfillment, clasped and unclasped our hands between our prayers and answers .

There's no doubt that some situations we find ourselves in as Christians, oftentimes leave us forgetting who we are, that Dad told us to ask for anything we want in His Name, and that we should consider it done.

So what's the problem...in most cases,it isn't exactly because of faithlessness, but more of timing...though the answers would definitely come, but they don't come when we(human nature)want them to come. Thus, it's like God is late...YET WE KNOW EXACTLY THAT GOD IS NEVER LATE NOR EARLY...HE COMES WHEN HE WILL,WHEN HE SHOULD, HE COMES AT THE RIGHT TIME.

But we oftentimes give God a deadline, forgetting that,he who gives Big Dad a deadline will always end up at a dead end.
But, vicissitudes of life mostly blind us to the truth we already know. This accounts for why we're always impatient with God...we want to command Him...to tell Him how or when He should respond to us... unfortunately,we missed it altogether, and pour all our frustrations on HIM. If He wasn't a Loving and patient Big Dad, would you dare to imagine what should become of us, for daring Him.

Job cursed the day he was born, while claiming innocence... Jeremiah cursed the man who went to tell his father that his wife has given birth to a son...what wrong did the man do? It's the serpentine spoilt sin nature in us always talking, because the devil wants us to be accusing Big Dad,the same way he did that costed him his exalted position as a covering cherub.
    The Scriptures tell us about how to expect from Daddy God,to avoid demonic manipulations, that would want to turn us against God in our hearts;

    35. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
    36. For ye have NEED of PATIENCE, that, after ye HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD, ye might receive the promise.
    37. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. (Heb 10: 35-37)

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (1Pe 5: 7)

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you . (1Pe 5: 10)

Yet,we can't deny the wholesome truth that, it's easier said than done... oftentimes, patience can be tasking, very very very tasking...it takes grace, even extra grace. INDEED,THIS IS WHERE DISCIPLINE IN CHRISTIANITY IS PUT TO THE TEST... where the baby Christian and the adult Christian are filtered.

We all have personal desires, collective desires, dreams and plans. Having dreams is fine, wanting to please God is also fine. The problem lies in being so naive in thinking that this path must be traveled alone and without tools, which exhausts us mentally without even taking a step forward.

I told us this before, I want to repeat it again, and like then, I will omit names and exact details, for security purposes.

Almost two decades ago,a dedicatedly faithful Christian worked as a civil servant in govt ministry. By virtue of his position and ranking,he was more than qualified for a car,and started believing God for one. But it never materialised. The money kept on going for things he NEVER planned for...yes,the problems always know when the money is available.

Thus, the man gave up praying or hoping for it,and surrendered the issue to God. The most fortunate part, was that he NEVER allowed it to affect his devotion to God... instead it increased his dedication. Even his PROMOTION in the office was stalled, juniors met him and same level left him behind...but he wasn't moved.

Three years later, his aunt died in the village and he went for the burial and came back to work. Barely a month after he came back, the Minister in charge of their ministry came to work one morning, saw him and asked him to meet him in his office.

Summarily, the Minister told him he doesn't know what's wrong and brought a set of car keys from his drawer, that they're his,and had been with him for the past three years. He said that he forgets each time he came to work, only to remember in the wrong places. Meanwhile, there truly was a brand new car covered with tarpaulin under a tree for the past three years... others had since been given away.

    It didn't end there,he was promoted two steps ahead of those who were promoted before him. The man was like ...he is dreaming and took leave to close for the day;

When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. (Psa 126: 1)

Later at home, Daddy spoke, and told him,HE kept him from the car,so that it won't become his coffin. HE told him that his late aunt vowed that anyone who buys a car before her own children in the family must die. The LORD said HE gave her every opportunity to repent, but when she wasn't willing HE removed her. END OF STORY!

We have a Father who makes everything possible, even the impossible (Luke 1:37).

All we need do is to allow God take care of the *how*

*How will I achieve this? How will I achieve that, and how will I survive this ordeal* isn't our assignment...not at all*

Our assignment is to TRUST DADDY,AND HOW HE DOES IT BECOMES HIS BUSINESS...not us anymore...we only owe HIM trust, and to do that,we must have an enduring relationship with HIM. Only then can we know peace in a turbulent world.

Not having peace causes endless illnesses, deficiencies and suffering that we could easily remove from our lives. We just have to understand that there is a God who works in favor of those who believe in Him.

His promises are there for all of us who choose to turn over our burdens to Him to see in His Word.(Matthew 11:28).
We must leave our big, bigger and biggest problems,
(all our problems )in His hands, leaving aside the *how will HE do it?*
May He sanctified His Word in our lives, moreso now when the devil has turned the world upsidedown,in Christ Jesus' Name,Amen!

  • It is little more than fourteen months since Israel was plunged into a multi-fronted war following the Hamas terror invasion from Gaza backed up by attacks from Hezbollah in Lebanon and from other Iranian proxies in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. Yet today, Hamas and Hezbollah have been largely crippled, Iran looks increasingly like an embarrassed paper tiger, and a new Middle East is taking shape that few could have dared to hope for even a couple of months ago.

    Gaza
At this moment, around a hundred Israeli hostages are still being held in captivity in Gaza, and a deal to secure their release remains elusive. Yet at least the incessant Hamas rocket attacks that made life intolerable for Israel’s southern communities have now ceased, and the present Israeli government is determined to retain security control over Gaza to prevent any repeat build up of the Hamas terror infrastructure.

    Lebanon
The ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah that went into effect at the end of November is still holding, much to the relief of hundreds of thousands in northern and central Israel, myself and my family included, who previously endured multiple daily rocket, missile and drone attacks with all the accompanying stresses and traumas. The impeccably planned and executed "Beeper Operation" which simultaneously struck thousands of Hezbollah operatives was an astounding success, as was the targeted assassination of their leader in Beirut.

    Syria
Close on its heels came the sudden collapse of the brutal Assad regime in neighboring Syria, which since the inception of the state of Israel had been her unrelenting foe and sponsor of every possible hostile action against her. For decades Israelis had perceived the barbaric Syrian dictatorship as a formidable enemy, armed to the teeth with conventional and unconventional weapons, yet within a matter of days the regime simply imploded as various rebel groups with covert external support took over different parts of the country.

This left the Israeli air force with free rein to launch 350 air attacks in 48 hours, destroying around 80% of the Syrian army’s capabilities, including anti-aircraft batteries, airfields and weapons production sites, giving Israel complete air supremacy over Syria and a direct flight path over that country should Israel need to launch an attack against arch-enemy Iran.

    Iran
It was just nine months ago, in early April 2024, that Iran launched their first direct attack on Israel, dispatching about 300 missiles and drones in the space of a few hours, yet they failed to cause any substantial damage. The subsequent Iranian October 1 attack with about 180 ballistic missiles was thankfully equally ineffective. In response, towards the end of October, Israel carried out precise, targeted airstrikes against military and weapons production sites in different regions in Iran, and since then, while their officials periodically remind everyone that the country reserves the right to carry out a devastating retaliation "at a time of their choosing", these threats today sound more like nervous whimpers.

    The New Middle East Landscape
Israeli military successes in Gaza and Lebanon came at a painful price, with over eight hundred soldiers killed and many more seriously injured. For years ahead the country will have to bear the heavy cost of the war, disruption of the economy and school studies, the inestimable traumas suffered and the destruction of lives and entire families. Within Israel today their are sectors, mostly left-leaning, who are opposed to the conduct of the war by the current government and continue to conduct vociferous protests under the banner of "Bring the hostages home!" without specifying how this can be done. Nevertheless, it appears that a large majority of the Israeli population are fully supportive of the war effort.

Leaked Docs Expose Fauci’s Plan to Spray ‘Self-Spreading’ Vaccines on Population Centers by Drone
    Baxter Dmitry
Fact checked by The People's Voice Community

A recently leaked proposal from 2018 has cast new light on Dr. Anthony Fauci’s plan to covertly spray “self-spreading” vaccines on large population centers using cutting-edge biotechnology, military-grade drones, and experimental medical research.

The document, codenamed DEFUSE, was submitted by Fauci’s EcoHealth Alliance to DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) and outlined plans for the deployment of aerosolized immune modulators, chimeric spike proteins, and self-spreading vaccines—over large human populations via drones.

The DEFUSE proposal explicitly describes the use of aerosol delivery systems for large-area “inoculation of animals and humans,” raising the alarming possibility that such experiments may have been conducted on unsuspecting populations.

These aerosolized systems were designed to deliver advanced biological agents, including self-disseminating vaccines, sparking serious ethical and legal concerns about informed consent.

This revelation has added a new dimension to debates over pandemic preparedness, as well as the shadowy intersection of public health and military technology.

The DEFUSE proposal coincided with DARPA’s significant advancements in drone technology, which included aerosolized delivery systems. Some researchers suggest these systems may have been operationalized, pointing to the global deployment of drones during the COVID-19 pandemic under the guise of “disinfection.” Critics argue these operations lacked efficacy and question whether their true purpose was related to DEFUSE’s objectives.

More chillingly, the proposal challenges the dominant lab-leak narrative by introducing a new theory: drones equipped with bioengineering payloads could have played a role in the pandemic’s origins.

DARPA’s long-standing partnership with Moderna adds yet another layer to the controversy.

DARPA Worked on Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Back in 2012

By 2012, DARPA—the U.S. military’s research and development arm—had already signed a contract with Moderna to develop RNA-based coronavirus vaccines that encode the spike protein.

The work was carried out under project codename ‘ADEPT: PROTECT.’

Moderna would go on to patent a genetic sequence for their spike protein in February 2016.

    Jon Fleetwood writes:

Six years after the patent was filed, scientists discovered an uncanny match between Moderna’s spike protein and the COVID pandemic virus’s genetic code.

The pandemic virus genome contains a unique 19-nucleotide sequence (SEQ ID11652) that enables its spike protein to be activated by the furin enzyme.

This furin activation enhances COVID’s ability to spread between human cells.

Remarkably, scientists confirmed this snippet of code from the COVID pandemic virus perfectly matches Moderna’s spike protein sequence, patented three years before the outbreak.

The researchers argued there’s a “one-in-3-trillion” chance that Moderna’s proprietary sequence could have also later appeared in the COVID pandemic virus naturally.

The scientists published their findings in the peer-reviewed journal Frontiers in Virology in February 2022.

    Whistleblower Suppression and Classified Research

Whistleblowers have revealed alleged efforts by DARPA and intelligence agencies to suppress details about DEFUSE, citing national security concerns. Senators and watchdog organizations have since demanded investigations into what they describe as an unprecedented cover-up.

The deliberate classification of DEFUSE-related research has led critics to question whether these technologies were tested, refined, or even deployed without public knowledge or consent.

One of the most controversial aspects of the DEFUSE proposal involves self-spreading vaccines, which rely on engineered viruses to spread from host to host. This concept, while theoretically useful for controlling outbreaks, carries immense risks, including the potential for unintended mutations, uncontrollable spread, and weaponization.

DEFUSE’s focus on gain-of-function research—enhancing the transmissibility of viruses—further heightens fears that these experimental technologies were weaponized under the guise of public health.

  • In Gaza, babies freeze to death, tents fall apart – Day 450

Israeli attacks have killed 27 Palestinians and wounded 149 in the latest 24-hour reporting period, Gaza’s Health Ministry says.

Sixth baby dies from severe cold in Gaza as Israel raids hospitals

Cold weather in Gaza has claimed the life of a baby, the sixth to die in a week, according to medical sources, as Israel continues its relentless attacks on hospitals across the strip.

One-month-old Ali al-Batran died on Monday at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported, quoting medical sources who attributed his death to plummeting temperatures.

The day before, his twin brother, Jumaa al-Batran, perished from the cold in the displaced family’s flimsy tent in Deir el-Balah, also in the centre of the enclave, his father said, describing how Jumaa had been discovered with his head as “cold as ice”.

The babies were born one month prematurely.

Three of the six Palestinian babies who have died of hypothermia in the past week lived in the coastal “safe zone” of al-Mawasi, close to the southern town of Khan Younis.

Over 80 percent of Gaza displacement tents destroyed by bitter winter conditions

Gaza’s government media office announced over the weekend that around 110,000 tents out of 135,000 are “worn out” and “unfit” for displaced Palestinians.

By late November, over 80 percent of Gaza’s displacement tents had already been severely affected by the weather and the lack of essential facilities to deal with it.

Video footage from 30 December and the past 24 hours has shown many tents, most of which are made from cloth, completely soaked in rainwater, or submerged in areas that have been flooded.

“Babies in Gaza are freezing to death due to cold weather and lack of shelter … Blankets, mattresses, and other winter supplies have been stuck in the region for months waiting for approval to get into Gaza,” Commissioner-General of UNRWA Phillipe Lazzarini said last week, referring to Israel’s closure of all border crossings and the continued prevention of essential aid from entering the strip. Meanwhile, warplanes continue to carry out brutal attacks across the strip.

Gaza hospital director held at notorious Israeli military detention center

A prominent Palestinian hospital director who was arrested by Israel in a raid that closed the last major functioning health facility in northern Gaza is being held at a controversial military base that doubles as a detention facility, recently released former detainees have told CNN.

Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya has not been seen publicly since Israeli forces raided Kamal Adwan hospital on Friday. Staff members accused Israeli forces of starting a fire in the hospital and said they were all rounded up outside and forced to remove their clothes, a process that took hours, before being forced to leave.

Local journalist Mohammad Al-Sharif said he was among those who were detained from the hospital before his release 11 hours later.

“We endured extremely difficult moments in inhumane conditions,” he told CNN. “The occupation army made no distinction between medical staff, patients, civilians, or journalists.”

The Israeli military said on Saturday it had detained Dr. Abu Safiya because he was “suspected of being a Hamas terrorist operative,” and claimed that the hospital was being used by Hamas as a “command and control center.” The military did not provide any evidence to support the claims.

Palestinian prisoners released this weekend from the facility said they saw Abu Safiya at the prison, and another former detainee said he heard Abu Safiya’s name being read out. CNN cannot independently verify their accounts. The Israeli military has not confirmed to CNN whether Abu Safiya is being held at the facility.

The Sde Teiman torture camp, where dozens have been killed, has been referred to as Israel’s Guantanamo.

    Ha’aretz Op-Ed: Leave Gaza’s Hospitals Alone

Excerpt from the lead editorial in Israeli daily Ha’aretz, December 30, 2024, published in both English and Hebrew:

On Sunday, the IDF claimed that it had arrested over 240 terrorists at the hospital and that its director is suspected of being a Hamas operative. To prove this assertion, the army released pictures of two pistols and a knife found in the hospital.

This meager haul does the opposite of supporting the IDF’s claims. For two pistols and a knife you don’t evacuate dozens of patients and doctors from a hospital and march them in their underwear, on a cold night, before the cameras in order to humiliate them.

It is fair to assume that the deliberate damage to hospitals in Gaza has a different purpose. It appears that as part of the ethnic cleansing of the northern Strip.

In the absence of medical facilities, northern Gaza will be emptied faster, as the sick and wounded flee south in an effort to find care [or die]. Such a large area cannot be left without hospitals, especially in wartime.

The Fourth Geneva Convention accords special status to hospitals during wartime. The presence of small arms and ammunition in a hospital does not justify attacking it, nor does the presence of enemy fighters who are hospitalized there.

Northern Gaza has been destroyed and devastated; the IDF is now mainly engaged in completing its destruction. This is an illegitimate action, and in any case it is prohibited to include hospitals.

Israeli forces set fire on Friday to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, which is the largest hospital in the area and serves over 400,000 citizens.

‘Systematic elimination of prisoners’: Five Palestinians die in Israeli custody within 24 hours

Four Palestinian prisoners died in Israeli custody on 30 December, bringing the number of detainees killed in Tel Aviv’s brutal prison system up to five within the past 24 hours.

All five were detained from the Gaza Strip, where Israel continues its genocidal campaign against civilians and medical facilities.

A statement from the Palestinian Prisoners Club (PPC) and Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs held the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) responsible for the crimes committed against prisoners, warning of a “growing humanitarian disaster” and accusing Israeli authorities of working to “systematically and publicly liquidate prisoners.”

The Palestinian Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees announced last week the deaths of two other Palestinian prisoners.

Israeli detention centers and prisons where Palestinian detainees are held are known for their extremely repressive and violent conditions, which include torture, rape, and other human rights violations.

The UN warned earlier this year that Palestinians imprisoned across Israeli jails and detention camps have also faced waterboarding, sleep deprivation, and electrocution by Israeli prison authorities since 7 October 2023.

Palestinian detainees from Gaza held by Israel unaccounted for, say Israeli media

Many Palestinian detainees in Israeli custody are unaccounted for, with the army denying any knowledge of their whereabouts, according to Israeli media on Monday.

“The fate of many Palestinians from Gaza who were detained by the Israeli army is unknown,” said Haaretz. “The army claims that there is no indication that those Palestinians have been detained, despite the fact that they were last seen by the soldiers or before their arrest.”

The newspaper said that Palestinians and rights groups have filed 27 petitions to Israeli courts to know the fate of those detainees. “Most of these petitions, however, were rejected,” it added. “But in some cases, the petitions led the army to re-examine to find out that the people the army claims it has no information about were in Israeli detention centers or had died.”

UN statement: Israel’s assault on the foundations of int’l law must have consequences

Israel must face the consequences of its campaign to undermine the legal framework for the protection of civilians in armed conflicts, a group of independent human rights experts* said today, as the full-scale armed assault on Gaza and forced displacement of its population continues unabated.

“As we have repeatedly reminded Israel, international humanitarian law comprises a set of universal and binding rules to protect civilian objects and persons who are not, or are no longer, directly participating in hostilities and limits permissible means and methods of warfare,” the experts said.

“Rather than abide by these rules, Israel has openly defied international law time and again, inflicting maximum suffering on civilians in the occupied Palestinian territory and beyond.”

Citing Israel’s most egregious violations, the experts highlighted crimes against humanity including murder, torture, sexual violence, and repeated forced displacement amounting to forcible transfer, war crimes encompassing indiscriminate attacks on civilians and civilian objects, including objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population and educational institutions and cultural heritage, the use of starvation as a weapon of war, the targeting of healthcare workers and health facilities, attacks on humanitarian workers, arbitrary restrictions on access to humanitarian aid, and attacks on journalists, collective punishment and perfidy…

“Israel’s continued impunity sends a dangerous message suggesting that parties to other conflicts around the world need not comply with their obligations under international humanitarian law,” they said. “We cannot afford to lose the force of the multilateral system. Israel and its leaders must be held accountable.”

UN special rapporteur calls for global medical boycott of Israel

Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on Palestine, has urged medical professionals around the world to sever ties with Israel as a direct response to the destruction of Gaza’s healthcare system.

“I urge medical professionals worldwide to pursue the severance of all ties with Israel as a concrete way to forcefully denounce Israel’s full destruction of the Palestinian healthcare system in Gaza, a critical tool of its ongoing genocide,” Albanese said on X.

Her comments reflect growing international concern about the deteriorating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where hospitals and clinics have been targeted and overwhelmed by relentless violence.

    STATISTICS OCTOBER 7, 2023 – DECEMBER 30, 2024:

Palestinian death toll from October 7, 2023 – December 30, 2024: at least 46,377* – 45,541 in Gaza; in the West Bank, Israeli soldiers and/or settlers have killed at least 836 Palestinians (~172 of them children).

Thousands of those killed in Gaza have yet to be identified, and an estimated 11,000 more are still buried under rubble.

According to a report in the Lancet, by multiplying the reported deaths by five, it is possible to reach a conservative estimate of total deaths (including indirect causes like starvation and lack of medicine). Using the latest figure from AFP (45,541), it is reasonable to estimate at least 227,705 total deaths in Gaza since October 7th, 2023.

According to a recent report by the UN Human Rights Office of identified fatalities in Gaza, about 44% were children. It is reasonable to estimate that 20,038 of known direct deaths and 100,190 of the total deaths are children.

Since Israel launched an extermination campaign in northern Gaza in early October, over 4,000 Palestinians have been killed or are missing and another 12,000 wounded.

Palestinian injuries from October 7, 2023 – December 30, 2024: at least 114,689 (including at least 108,338 in Gaza and 6,500 in the West Bank, including 830 children). [It remains unknown how many Americans are among the casualties in Gaza.]

Reported Israeli death toll from October 7, 2023 – December 30, 2024: ~1,595 (~1,139 on October 7, 2023, of which ~32 were Americans, and ~36 were children); 417*** (or 391) military forces since the ground invasion began in Gaza (updated: Dec. 17); 43 military and civilians in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Israel) and~10,000 injured.

NOTE: It is unknown at this time how many of the deaths and injuries of Israelis on October 7 were caused by Israeli soldiers.

ADDITIONAL STATISTICS: Since October 7th, 2023:

At least 50 Palestinians have died in Israeli prisons (at least 30 of them from Gaza).
At least 43 Palestinians have died due to malnutrition (at least 37 of them children)**.
About 1.9 million of Gaza’s 2.3 million population are currently displaced.
About 345,000 Gazans are currently experiencing catastrophic levels of food insecurity.
*The Ministry’s figures have been contested by the Israeli authorities, although they have been accepted as accurate by Israeli intelligence services, the UN, and WHO. These data are supported by independent analyses, comparing changes in the number of deaths of UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) staff with those reported by the Ministry, which found claims of data fabrication implausible.

Previously, IAK did not include 471 Gazans killed in the Al Ahli hospital blast since the source of the projectile was being disputed. However, given that much evidence points to Israel as the culprit, Israel had previously bombed the hospital and has attacked many others, Israel is prohibiting outside experts from investigating the scene, and since the UN and other agencies are including the deaths from the attack in their cumulative totals, if Americans knew is now also doing so.

**Euro-Med Monitor reports that Gaza’s elderly are dying at an alarmingly high rate. The majority die at home and are buried either close to their residences or in makeshift graves dispersed across the Strip. There are currently more than 140 such cemeteries. Additionally, according to Euromed, thousands have died from starvation, malnourishment, and inadequate medical care; these are considered indirect victims as they were not registered in hospitals.

***The figure does not include the reportedly 59 Israeli soldiers – nearly 17% of the total Israeli military deaths – killed due to friendly fire in Gaza and other military-related accidents.

† For most of the conflict, women and children accounted for about 70% of deaths in Gaza, with children making up a little over 40% of those killed, according to official statistics.

Sixth baby dies from severe cold in Gaza as Israel raids hospitals Cold weather in Gaza has claimed the life of a baby, the sixth to die in a week, according to medical sources, as Israel continues its relentless attacks on hospitals across the strip. Rain and cold temperatures make life miserable for displaced Palestinians in Gaza Rain and cold temperatures make life miserable for displaced Palestinians in Gaza (social media) Gaza hospital director held at notorious Israeli military detention center A prominent Palestinian hospital director who was arrested by Israel in a raid that closed the last major functioning health facility in northern Gaza is being held at a controversial military base that doubles as a detention facility, recently released former detainees have told CNN. “The occupation army made no distinction between medical staff, patients, civilians, or journalists.” The Israeli military said on Saturday it had detained Dr. RECOMMENDED READING: Inside Sde Teiman, the Base Where Israel Has Detained Thousands of Gazans Ha’aretz Op-Ed: Leave Gaza’s Hospitals Alone Excerpt from the lead editorial in Israeli daily Ha’aretz, December 30, 2024, published in both English and Hebrew: On Sunday, the IDF claimed that it had arrested over 240 terrorists at the hospital and that its director is suspected of being a Hamas operative. Israeli forces set fire on Friday to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, which is the largest hospital in the area and serves over 400,000 citizens. (WAFA) ‘Systematic elimination of prisoners’: Five Palestinians die in Israeli custody within 24 hours Four Palestinian prisoners died in Israeli custody on 30 December, bringing the number of detainees killed in Tel Aviv’s brutal prison system up to five within the past 24 hours. All five were detained from the Gaza Strip, where Israel continues its genocidal campaign against civilians and medical facilities. A statement from the Palestinian Prisoners Club (PPC) and Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs held the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) responsible for the crimes committed against prisoners, warning of a “growing humanitarian disaster” and accusing Israeli authorities of working to “systematically and publicly liquidate prisoners.” The Palestinian Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees announced last week the deaths of two other Palestinian prisoners.
