• What is spiritual healing?

The universe runs on energy—every thought, emotion, and event is powered by it. Nothing happens by chance; everything is a result of cause and effect. Positive energy can be drained by negativity, and many struggles—sickness, tragedy, emotional pain—stem from unseen energy imbalances. A gifted spiritual healer channels high-vibrational energy to clear negativity, restore balance, and promote healing. Just being near someone with pure energy can uplift your spirit. Like doctors or musicians, true healers are born with this gift. But beware—choose only those with experience and genuine ability. A reputable healer can truly change your life. Trust energy. Trust healing.

WHEN CHRISTIAN MUSIC LOSES ITS ORIGINAL PURPOSE! (EXO.15:21)

I stand to be thrown every available expletive at for this,as usual. But the MESSAGE is much more GREATER than the messenger.
Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: (Psa 147: 7)
And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. (Exo 15: 21)

I see a minimum of three times in Exodus 15:1–21 the Bible says they sang “to the LORD.”

The song was not an expression of joy, it was for sure not a moment of entertainment. They sang as an act of thanksgiving and worship.

    In the book of Ephesians, we read;
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (Eph 5: 19)

There is a time and place to sing spiritual songs “to yourselves” but even then, it is in the heart and to the Lord. There is no occasion I can find where singing praises to God is purely for the benefit of a human audience.

But sadly that's where we find ourselves in contemporary Christian music (both in and outside the church.)

Our hearts are so wicked that we become easily deceived.
Modern Christianity has been duped into believing that Christian music is an acceptable form of entertainment.

The Nigerian and even Global gospel music ministry has been turned into an industry. And in Nigeria especially, it is just a vivid reflection of the country’s gloomy socio-religious landscape, characterized by the emergence/prevalence of fake ministers and various ubiquitous instrumentalities that perpetrate spiritual bareness in the country.

Aspects of religiosity observed in some Nigerian gospel songs include controversial rhythms, imitations/adaptations of worldly songs, lyrical emphasis on prosperity (materialism, fame and earthly glories) at the detriment of spirituality/salvation, gospel artists being associated with sex scandals and occult practices.

INDEED, THERE'S NO CLEARLY SPELT OUT VERSE IN THE SCRIPTURES THAT MADE PRAISING THE LORD AND TEACHING GOD'S WORD THROUGH SONGS, A MINISTRY OF ITS OWN. RATHER, WE WERE(ARE) CREATED BY GOD FOR THIS VERY PURPOSE...TO GLORIFY HIM.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (Rev 4: 11)

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: (Rev 19: 1)

And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. (Rev 19: 4)

The scriptures abovesignify our lives on the other side of eternity. AND ITS PRACTICE BEGINS RIGHT HERE.
    Our Psalmist(a man after God's Heart,David), was given to sing to king Saul for a specific purpose;
And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him. (1Sa 16: 23)

Even Prophet Elisha demanded for spirit lifting music when he wants ACCESS INTO GOD'S PRESENCE,and not for mere entertainment and money market as it has become today.

HOW MUCH DID CHRIST JESUS CHARGE FOR TICKETS TO ATTEND HIS CRUSADES, BECAUSE CHRISTIAN MUSICAL ASSEMBLIES ARE ACTUALLY EVANGELISM THROUGH SONGS. IMAGINE CHRISTIAN SINGERS BEING HIRED TO SING IN SOCIAL EVENTS... LIKE MARRIAGES, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, BURIALS, POLITICAL RALLIES AND CAMPAIGNS,ETC! I'M AWARE THIS IS DIFFICULT TO SWALLOW, BUT IT ISN'T RIGHT.

I'm sorry, but so many things we dig for loopholes in the Bible to support are not Biblical nor accepted by God. IT MAY LOOK RIGHT IN OUR EYES, BUT GOD DOESN'T SEE THEM IN THE SAME WAY...HIS WORD IS HIS WORD!

Very little seemingly insignificant things will make a lot of us to be on the wrong side of eternity. The Bible calls them besetting sins.
If we remember, we've studied this subject before sometimes ago. I only revisited it because of recent and equally alarming events, especially the saga of a supposed christian singer who personally fixed his honorarium and the exclusive accomodations for him and forty(40) of his entourage. Any difference between his demands and secular musicians,or even political meetings? Now,tell me, what is he going to deliver when he gets there? The Gospel...hell no! He is going to deliver SELF, JUST LIKE A VERY GREAT POPULATION OF OUR TODAY'S PASTORS, FROM WHOM THEY'RE LEARNING OR HAVE LEARNT.

HAVING THE POTENTIALS TO *SING UNTO THE LORD* SHOULD BE SEEN AS A GREAT PRIVILEGE FROM GOD THAT SHOULD HUMBLE US,AND NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND.

Christian musicians now make a living hosting huge concerts where they “sing to the Lord” gospel songs meant to entertain large gatherings of Christians. The organization isn't any different from what we see in the secular. It is a multi-million, if not billion, Naira industry, and it is pure idolatry. They have a huge fan base that worships them, and not GOD ANYMORE!
IT'S EVEN MADE WORSE BY THEIR *UNBELIEVER*PRODUCERS WHO STATE CERTAIN (UNGODLY) TERMS FOR THEM TO BE SIGNED IN. ALL FOR WHAT... WEALTH AND FAME!

I don’t want to make it sound wicked. But it is evil in the sense that it is not what the Bible teaches music is for. It becomes a wicked thing when we bring it ALSO into our CHURCHES where we have TRANSITIONED NOW to MAKING the SERVICE about MINISTERING to the PEOPLE who ASSEMBLE RATHER THAN THE GOD THEY were SUPPOSED to have ASSEMBLED BEFORE.

Today, in dressing, hairstyles, tattoos and every other facet of life, you can't distinguish between a secular and a Christian singer. Songs that are meant to be spirit and soul lifting are now purely and merely flesh gratifying.

IT'S TIME TO OPEN OUR BIBLES MORE REGULARLY TO COMPARE WHAT GOD'S WORD SAYS AS AGAINST, WHAT THE WORLD WILL HAVE US BELIEVE.

  • The concept of "digital ownership" is fascinating. We've always associated ownership with physical tangibility: a house, a car, a!
Think about it. We "own" digital photos, music, and documents stored on cloud servers. We have licenses to use software. We accumulate followers and engagement on social media platforms. But do we truly *own* these things? Can we truly control them, transfer them freely, or preserve them indefinitely?

NFTs offer a potential solution, allowing us to tokenize digital assets and establish verifiable ownership on a blockchain. This can have profound implications for artists, creators, and collectors, providing new avenues for monetization and authentication. Imagine artists directly selling their digital art to fans, musicians releasing limited-edition virtual merchandise, or authors distributing signed digital copies of their books.

But the concept extends far beyond art and collectibles. Consider the possibilities for digital identities, property rights, and supply chain management. Could blockchain-based systems revolutionize how we track ownership and transfer assets in the real world?

Of course, challenges remain. The environmental impact of certain blockchains, the potential for fraud and scams, and the ongoing debate about the intrinsic value of digital assets all need to be addressed. The regulatory landscape is also still evolving, creating uncertainty for businesses and investors.

However, the underlying idea of digital ownership is powerful and potentially transformative. It's about empowering individuals, fostering creativity, and creating new economic opportunities. It's about defining the future of ownership in a digital world.

Ultimately, the success of digital ownership will depend on building robust, secure, and accessible platforms that prioritize user experience and foster trust. It requires collaboration between technologists, artists, policymakers, and the broader community. It's a conversation worth having, a future worth exploring. What are your thoughts? How do you see the future of digital ownership shaping our world? It may sound technical but impacts daily life.

  • The concept of collective memory fascinates me. How do we, as societies, choose what to remember and what to forget? It's a const!
This applies not only to grand historical narratives but also to our personal experiences. We all have selective memories, highlighting certain moments while downplaying others. It's a natural defense mechanism, perhaps, but also a reminder that our perception of reality is inherently subjective.

In the digital age, collective memory takes on a whole new dimension. Information spreads rapidly, opinions solidify quickly, and the "truth" becomes increasingly fragmented. The echo chambers of social media amplify existing biases, making it harder to engage in constructive dialogue. The speed at which information is disseminated can also lead to the rapid erasure of certain narratives, replaced by the next viral trend. It's a constant cycle of remembering and forgetting, often dictated by algorithms and attention spans.

Consider the world of cryptocurrency. The early days were marked by a spirit of decentralization and utopian ideals. However, the narrative has shifted over time, incorporating concerns about regulation, environmental impact, and financial risk. The collective memory of the crypto space is constantly being reshaped by market fluctuations, technological advancements, and the actions of key players.

Furthermore, the increasing use of AI to generate art, music, and even text raises questions about originality and authenticity. As algorithms become more sophisticated, it becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish between human-created and machine-generated content. This blurring of lines has implications for how we value creativity and how we define cultural memory. If AI can replicate the styles of famous artists or musicians, what happens to our understanding of their unique contributions? Will future generations be able to discern the difference?

Moreover, the increasing use of blockchain technology for secure data storage and verification opens up new possibilities for preserving cultural heritage. By creating immutable records of historical events, artistic works, and scientific discoveries, we can ensure that these narratives are not easily manipulated or erased. This could be particularly valuable in regions where historical narratives have been distorted or suppressed for political reasons. The challenge, of course, lies in ensuring that these blockchain-based archives are accessible and inclusive, reflecting a diverse range of perspectives.

Ultimately, the way we engage with collective memory has profound implications for the future. By critically examining the narratives we inherit and by actively participating in the construction of new ones, we can create a more informed, inclusive, and equitable world. It is through honest dialogue, thoughtful reflection, and a willingness to challenge our own assumptions that we can ensure that the lessons of the past are not forgotten.

#MemoryLane #DigitalAge #CryptoFuture
