WE HAVE DEVOTED MORE OF OUR TIME, ENGAGING ONE ANOTHER,IN SCRIPTURAL INTELLECTUAL CONFLICTS, ABOUT THINGS THAT GOD MAY NOT WANT US TO BOTHER ABOUT AT THE MOMENT! I don't know about you reading this,but for me,we are extremely far from God's expectations for us. Can we fit into that description above? WHERE,OUR INPUT AND OUTPUT IDENTIFIES US AS CHRISTIANS,AND NOT OUR MOUTHS! With all the obvious signs pointing to the impending turbulence ahead,we are still comfortable playing *church and religion*. Logically,one of the most heart wrenching death,is dying the death that you could have easily prevented or avoided. But,died all the same, because of our stubbornness. This is our position today as believers. Pharaoh saw clearly,the handwriting on the wall,but pride led him to an avoidable death. And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed? (Exo 10: 7) The scriptures are rife with accounts of those who had an opportunity to *change their fortune*,but eventually preferred the *praises of men*! God,in HIS INFINITE MERCY AND GRACE, continues to unveil and expose the devil's antics,we would still not hearken to HIS WARNINGS, instead we get entangled more in the pursuit of trivialities... mundane lusts that will deny us *ETERNAL REST*. Must we be like Judas Iscariot? Take an example from the king and citizens of Nineveh...who hearkened to God's warnings and saved themselves. Let's hear from apostle Peter; 10. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12. Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? (2Pe 3: 10-12) Listen, brethrens,the same way God doesn't fail on HIS promises,the same way HE doesn't fail on HIS punishment of disobedience. So, church building owners, continue to compete for whose worship centre will be the largest and more modern,to the detriment of salvation of souls. Establish schools, hospitals,banks and whatever,that the less privileged in the church wouldn't even be able to access. Business structures,in the name of Evangelism. How many*Genuine Souls*,have all these facilities added to church?(please, I know what I mean). God didn't call us to be LANDLORDS ON EARTH,NO..WE ARE TENANTS ON EARTH! We are only PRACTICING HERE ON EARTH,HOW WE SHALL LIVE IN THE NEW LIFE, GOD HAS PREPARED FOR US! That's why Peter said, everything we are beholding today,will be reduced to rubble. Yet,we still don't care. We are more concerned with our physical body than with our souls and spirits... pitiable indeed. If the place of worship was a top priority for God, Solomon's temple wouldn't have been burnt down. BY ALL STANDARDS, NO CURRENT BUILDER CAN EVER BUILD ANYTHING CLOSE TO SOLOMON'S TEMPLE, THAT WAS LAID WITH THE MOST EXPENSIVE GOLD, IN AND OUT!
