The reason a government would ever be needed is to ensure justice prevails, protecting your sovereign soil and for Diplomacy. When your government fails to provide justice for any reason then they are unnecessary. They are no longer a buffer against chaos and Anarchy is the better option. This is the case here. My government and most all others have simply become unstoppable criminal organizations that need to be brought to justice by the people, period. They no longer, if they ever have had the right to punish anyone for breaking their own laws. Corruption reigns supreme and we are just their slaves.
