The ideology behind the attack is alive and well today. A video has gone viral of an angry Israel partisan knocking Alison Weir’s phone out of her hand in 2011. Below is a longer video (three minutes) of what went on before that moment: Israel partisans were yelling outlandish, Islamophobic claims not based on fact. (The participants were not aware they were being filmed.) Alison was attempting to give important facts to a prominent general, who was listening attentively to what she was sharing – this seemed to be what drew the ire of the other people in the room. One of their members saw our signs and began a discussion with a member of the CNI group. The conversation was heated but within appropriate bounds. Another “Israel Is Not Alone” member, however, then approached the CNI man in a somewhat threatening posture and loudly began to berate him. At that point Lt. Col Karen Kwiatkowski, who had spoken on our panel, thought she recognized the man and he was asked his name. At first he only gave his first name, Jerry, but eventually also gave his last name: Boykin. Lt. Gen Boykin (three stars) is known for making offensive statements about Islam and supporting Israel. For some reason, I actually thought I might be able to convince him to rethink his positions. I told him I had been born at West Point and tried to tell him about Palestine. I was holding a booklet from our press conference, and asked him fervently to read it. He didn’t say anything. As I was trying to describe the facts, another man came up and began haranguing me. He was almost shaking with fury. He yelled that Muslims tear the fingernails off Christians and similar things. I tried to answer him, but he shouted over everything I tried to say. I got my phone out and tried to video what he was yelling at me. I then tried to resume my conversation with Boykin and tell him about my first trip to Palestine, but the man continued shouting at me, drowning out my words, so I again tried to video what he was yelling at me. He suddenly violently hit my hand and phone, knocking the phone across the room. I was stunned. A bit shaken, I asked someone to get security, which they did. Some of the “Israel Is Not Alone” group, probably realizing that their member had just crossed a serious line and was guilty of battery, brought me the pieces of my phone (fortunately, and surprisingly, it still works). The man (I haven’t yet learned his name) proffered an unconvincing apology. Some people have suggested that I file charges. It turns out that a Press TV crew apparently filmed the whole incident and led off with part of it on their broadcast about our conference. You can see the video and news report here. I’m undecided about filing charges. I know that if the situation were reversed, they would do so. I don’t know what’s behind this angry, disturbed man. Was he angry because he was spreading such venomous lies? Or is it that the people behind “Israel Is Not Alone” are exploiting a vulnerable man and intentionally creating or fueling his rage? The Council for the National Interest Foundation says many members of Congress fear, if they don’t always side with Israel, that they will face retaliation in their own re-election campaigns. Giraldi is a former CIA counter terrorism expert. He questions why America gives aid to Israel when Israel conducts more espionage for profit against the US than any other US friendly country. Retired Lt. Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski worked at the Pentagon and says Israel receives preferential treatment. IN BRIEF: The loudest of Alison’s detractors in the video (and the one who assaulted her), William J. Murray, insisted that Muslims in Palestine have been persecuting Christians “since Israel ceded [Bethlehem] to Muslims.” He added that the drop in the Christian population of Bethlehem was proof of Muslim oppression. For starters, Israel did not “cede” Bethlehem to Muslims. Bethlehem is in the occupied Palestinian West Bank. It is governed by the Palestinian Authority – a Palestinian regime, not Muslim. In 1922, Christians made up about 85 percent of the population of Bethlehem (see Andrea Pacini’s Socio-Political and Community Dynamics of Arab Christians in Jordan, Israel, and the Autonomous Palestinian Territories. Clarendon Press, 1998). In 1945, Bethlehem’s population was 8,820 (6,430, or 73 percent Christians; 2,370 or 27% Muslims), By 1967, the Christian population had dropped slightly (6,231 vs. 6,430 in 1945), while the Muslim population had more than tripled (8,169 vs. 2,370 in 1945). The dramatic increase in the Muslim population was due mostly to Israel’s ethnic cleansing, both in 1948 and in 1967, during which a large Muslim population was forced into exile, thousands of whom ended up in refugee camps in Bethlehem. The Christian population has continued to dwindle, due not to persecution by Muslims, but to the intolerable life under Israeli occupation. Similarities between "spike protein" and synthetic anthrax toxin. PREP Act declarations should be read as announcements of use of certain types of chemical-biological weapons of mass destruction. As my readers know, covid PREP Act declaration is currently active until Dec 31, 2024, but it will be for sure extended thereafter. Marburg and Ebola declarations are active until at least Dec 31, 2028. There are several non-covid PREP Act declarations currently acive: These declarations are for influenza, zika, insecticides/nerve agents, anthrax and botulism toxin. They were updated/re-issued on Dec 23, 2022, however for all of these agents, the original declarations had been issued many years ago, starting around 2008. Both, manufacturers and users would have liability immunity. Users of the first countermeasures being the DoD agents who did/do the dispersing of the aerosol, water-borne, food-borne poisons. Turkish infectious diseases specialist Dr. Esin Davutoğlu Şenol speaks out on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic 2 August 2024 “Pandemics are the symptoms of the earth sick with capitalism. They will relapse until we have a better, nature-compatible society.” The World Socialist Web Site conducted the following interview on the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic with Prof. Dr. Esin Davutoğlu Şenol, a leading specialist in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology at Gazi University Medical Faculty in Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Esin Davutoğlu Şenol Evan Blake (EB): Can you briefly describe your professional background and expertise, and the work that you’ve done during the pandemic? Prof. Dr. Esin Davutoğlu Şenol (EŞ): I’m currently a Professor of Medicine at the Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, which is one of three academic centers in Ankara. I am working in this hospital as a medical doctor and teaching as an attending staff. I have established the first official “Adult Immunization Center” in Turkey in my hospital, as well as an “Adult Immunization Study Group” on behalf of the Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Association (KLİMİK), which is the first and largest national specialty association. We conducted courses and trainings on adult immunization. I have also studied infections in cancer and transplant patients. When I studied as a research assistant at the Tufts-New England Medical Center (Tufts-NEMC) in Boston, I worked on cytomegalovirus (CMV) diagnosis and trained at a virology lab, while also doing consultations with transplant patients as well. We established the Febrile Neutropenia Association in Turkey and I was the secretary general of this association for a long time. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we established a “COVID Coordination Center” at the Gazi Hospital. We ran processes such as patient monitoring and treatment, vaccination clinics and coordination of health workers. Ulaş Ateşçi (UA): We know that virtually all surveillance of the COVID-19 pandemic has ended in Turkey and throughout much of the world, but the pandemic is by no means over. What data do you track that allows you to follow the ongoing impacts of the pandemic in Turkey and other countries? Are you seeing increases in heart attacks, strokes, kidney disease or other negative long-term impacts from COVID infection in Turkey? EŞ: Turkey first loosened the monitoring of COVID-19 cases and deaths by making the conditions for testing more difficult in 2021. At the end of 2022, the Turkish government announced that it ended pandemic surveillance much earlier than the rest of the world, believing that the Omicron variant would have a milder course. It also began to convince the public that this variant would be “milder.” However, most deaths and Long COVID cases have occurred in this period. The Health Ministry last announced the daily number of cases on its website in May 2022. But according to the Worldometer website that monitors the pandemic globally, as of April 2024 Turkey has updated its situation as 102,000 deaths and 17 million cases in total. The World Health Organization’s announcement of the end of the Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) on the pandemic was taken by everyone as the end of the pandemic. In fact, when the PHEIC was ended by the WHO, Fahrettin Koca, the Turkish Health Minister at that time, not surprisingly misunderstood it as usual and thought it was a declaration that the pandemic was over. He even made a statement saying, “We had ended it long before they did.” But in fact these two are very different, and unfortunately the pandemic cannot be declared over. The end of the PHEIC means that international measures such as border closures are no longer in place, not that the pandemic is over. While the very deadly and stormy phase of the pandemic has subsided, COVID-19 has not yet been contained. Moreover, at the places where there have been human contacts with animals, the virus has spilled back into wild habitats, leading to new mutations and new variants. In Turkey, there are international codes that we use to monitor and define diseases and prescriptions. However, things can get complicated when using these codes to write prescriptions. For example, there are drugs that you cannot prescribe if you do not report a diagnosis of pneumonia, [which] should not be so restricted. We also have to notify the Health Ministry for some infectious diseases that require social protections. But the integration of primary and tertiary care data is not sufficient. All the data is collected at the Health Ministry, but this data is not shared with academia. In summary, we have problems with data collection, data recording and data analysis. COVID-19 affects people as in waves throughout all the seasons, causing recurrent infections as well. It has not become a seasonal virus. The virus is known to indirectly cause heart attacks, strokes, kidney diseases, etc. It probably is the main reason for excess deaths during these waves. However, since these are not measured in proper means here, we cannot assess them. In other words, we don’t look, we don’t follow and we don’t know. In this way, responsible institutions are relieved of their vaccination and treatment obligations. The Turkish Medical Association (TTB) Pandemic Working Group, which has been very functional during the pandemic, and Güçlü Yaman, a data scientist in our group, share some graphs comparing summer and winter deaths with previous years. If there is no other explanatory reason, 60 or 70 percent of the increase in winter deaths over the previous year can be attributed to the direct and indirect effects of respiratory viruses, including COVID-19, while the increase in summer deaths can be attributed to the heat effect and the COVID-19 effect. EB: Can you elaborate a bit more on the data you use to show that there are more deaths and Long COVID cases since the emergence of the Omicron variant? Are there any reliable estimates of excess deaths in Turkey? EŞ: On the TTB website and Güçlü Yaman’s social media account, you can find some data for the estimates of excess deaths based on the burials of some municipalities. We know the data of the other countries and project their scientific-evidence-based data. It allows us to make a rational inference since this is a global problem. In summary, we can say that we have strong predictions even though we have no data. EB: You tweeted recently, “In the field of health care, we are rapidly slipping back into the Middle Ages.” This is absolutely correct; all of the gains since the Black Death are being thrown away. Can you comment further on this, and how the COVID-19 pandemic triggered the repudiation of the most basic principles of public health? EŞ: The Middle Ages was a time when outbreaks could not be controlled and the average human lifespan did not exceed 40 or 50 years. It was an epoch of epidemics, and there was no modern medicine. Now diseases such as measles and whooping cough, which we had brought under control with vaccines, have once again begun to cause epidemics. Tuberculosis is back, AIDS and syphilis have exploded. Currently medicine in Turkey is disconnected from the universal possibilities in medicine, vaccines and technology. Under the title of “traditional medicine,” methods that are not accepted by modern medicine and those who tout them are promoted on television or at ministry-sponsored symposiums. Harmful practices in inappropriate conditions and charlatans are not inspected or caught by the authorities. The Health Ministry seems to be very generous in its affiliated hospitals promoting interventions and medicine use instead of protective health. Vaccines or preventive medicine would reduce patient and hospital costs, which I don’t think the government wants. What do governments need to do to prevent airborne transmission of COVID and other respiratory pathogens? EŞ: The most effective masks for airborne respiratory viruses are always N95, which we healthcare professionals have been using extensively in the care and treatment of patients since before the pandemic. During the pandemic, when there were no vaccines yet, these masks were essential for all of us in areas such as public transportation and hospitals. However, they can be very inconvenient and expensive to use. Now I only use this type of mask in areas such as airplanes, hospitals and public transportation where everyone, vaccinated or unvaccinated, can be together. EB: What concerns you most about the COVID-19 pandemic at this stage? We are talking about a virus that has come back as a relative of SARS-CoV-1, which was responsible for a local outbreak in Asia in 2002 and started a pandemic. Long COVID is rarer in vaccinated people, but the population in Turkey has skipped three new variant vaccines. Our population is vulnerable and unvaccinated. Doctors in the country are not very familiar with Long COVID. The prevalence of diabetes is already increasing like an outbreak in Turkey, and COVID-19 has triggered this increase. EB: What was your opinion of the Zero COVID elimination program that was implemented in China, New Zealand and other countries? We advocate the global implementation of this policy as the only way to stop the pandemic, but argue that this is impossible under capitalism. EŞ: The Zero COVID policy would have been sustainable and very effective if the world had implemented similar control/protection programs. Millions of lives have been saved in countries that have implemented them. But then, despite the completion of basic vaccinations, there were many deaths in those countries during the Omicron storm, which was falsely called “mild.” I have always described the response to the pandemic as a “patchwork.” China was hit by the Omicron surge when it first opened itself to rest of the world. The only way to prevent deaths before vaccination was strict control/protection. If there had been an equal distribution of vaccines, if there had been a global effort, perhaps these new variants would not have developed. Let’s not forget that smallpox was eradicated by vaccination and a global effort. Before that, it was a scourge of humanity for hundreds of years. UA: There are now reports of a growing polio epidemic in Gaza, on top of the over 186,000 people killed so far in Israel’s genocidal war. Can you comment on this, and what connections you see between the capitalist response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Gaza genocide? EŞ: The four horsemen of the apocalypse: Pestilence, War, Famine and Death. War destroys all the gains made by the established order in the name of health and safety. The Spanish flu spread through the front lines and the battalions and then into the North American population. Next door in the Middle East we have cholera and malaria and other vector-borne diseases that have been eliminated in many countries. For polio, we proudly hold a “certificate of elimination” in our hands, but war can start a new spread that threatens the whole world. War is also forced migration. Although the first major pandemic of this century was spread by international air travel, migration due to war would connect the whole world, as it did in ancient times with infectious diseases. This is becoming a viral century and humanity needs to get prepared in a proper way, which means very close coordination internationally in order to track the emergence of new pathogens and raise the alarm at once. By Jonathan Ofir, reposted from Mondoweiss, August 12, 2024 Israel’s drama around the investigation of ten soldiers suspected of gang-raping a Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman torture facility keeps reaching new lows. The reaction from Israelis, not just on the right, but also in the Israeli mainstream, has revealed a lust for sadistic revenge and an obsession with Hamas that is used to justify releasing all hell on Palestinians, including sexual abuse. In fact, the media coverage of events last week paints a grim and revealing picture of Israeli society. It began when the mainstream Israeli Channel 12 broadcasted a report concerning the gang rape case. The report features a segment from the security camera that caught the rape taking place — with three of the soldiers holding their shields up so as to obscure the crime from the camera. They knew exactly what they were doing. But beyond the harrowing aspect of the act itself is the nature of Channel 12’s report. A full fourth of the four-minute report dedicates itself to the scrutiny of whether the detainee was a “Nukhba” Hamas member — an elite fighter who participated in the October 7 attack. Such a focus reflects an obsession. It suggests that some people deserve to get gang-raped and have objects inserted into their anus, some less so. Let us see what Channel 12 says on this issue: “The terrorist that appears in the documentation did not participate in the massacre of October 7 and was not among the Nukhba forces. According to AMAN (military intelligence) information, he is a Hamas policeman who was involved in the drug-control department. In the intelligence report that was submitted in his case, it was written that despite this, he is counted with the force perpetrating acts of terror against Israel and it was emphasized that he represents a grave risk if released. Likewise, the terrorist was not arrested at the beginning of the war but in March. In contradiction to what was claimed, he was not a (military) Company Commander in Jabalia — the source of the mistake is in the interpretation of the initials — that is, not [military] M.P. [in Hebrew, military terminology stands for ‘Mefaked Pluga,’ or Company Commander], but rather M.P., which stands for ‘Mahane Plitim’ — refugee camp [in Hebrew] Jabalia.” So, let’s pause here to just reflect upon what was said – this is a civil servant, a policeman. But anyone remotely connected to Hamas is considered a terrorist, because Hamas is considered a terrorist organization. Actually, it doesn’t really matter for Israel, because like President Isaac Herzog said in October, there are simply no “uninvolved civilians” in Gaza; they are all involved with Hamas. But why is Channel 12 really going into all of this if it doesn’t make a difference? Channel 12 is a centrist channel and is the biggest news provider. By taking us through these details, it is distancing itself from the perpetrators and their defenders, who are mostly from the far right. The channel also aired interviews and unhinged statements of the gang rape suspects’ attorneys. One of the attorneys, Nati Rom, claims that the Israeli soldiers were acting in self-defense, as if it wasn’t a premeditated gang rape case at all: “He [the Palestinian detainee] tries to bite two soldiers, he tries to scratch another soldier, and when a taser is used on him he also resists, and attacks and scratches this soldier, and that’s why they are forced to use force in order to restrain him”. Another attorney, Adi Kedar, complains that “the military attorney office and military investigation unit are recruited fully, in a targeted and intentional way with all their forces … We are in a war — to invest all these resources for the sake of the rights of the terrorist against these ten heroes who really acted above and beyond, and against whom the suspicion is very very vague, it’s very disappointing, both at the legal level, as well as the personal level, and I hope this arrest will soon end.” Channel 12 gave the lawyers airtime for their egregious statements without comment — supposedly a neutral stance. As Tali Shapiro commented on social media: “According to Israeli media, what’s important in the rape case involving military personnel is not so much the rape but rather how much of a Nukhba the victim is.” Then, on Wednesday, Channel 14, the far-right channel which aired several snuff videos of these torture facilities earlier this year, featured a 10-minute interview with one of the rape suspects on its program, “The Patriots.” He is sitting there in an army uniform and a gun across his shoulder, with a black mask. The host begins by stating that the masked suspect is charged under the case with “the Nukhba terrorist, cursed be his name.” The suspect is complaining about what he sees as a witch-hunt and congratulates the right wing for rising up to protest it. He receives countless ovations. Asked about the security camera footage and the soldiers holding up the shields like that, he says this is just standard procedure. He chided Channel 12 and their journalist, Guy Peleg, for slandering the soldiers in the other mentioned report. This is an unbelievable sight to behold — here is a partially subtitled version in Middle East Eye. And imagine, this guy is calling for law and order. While hailing the right-wing protests of the arrest, he nonetheless urges them not to “break into camps,” because it “hurts our good name.” Another shocking development came the same day, during a Channel 12 morning news discussion. The Channel 12 journalist and panelist Yehuda Shlezinger commented on the gang rape case: “It interests my anus what they did to this Hamas person…From my perspective, the problem here is that it is not a regulated policy from the state to abuse prisoners. First of all — they deserve it. Maybe it will serve as deterrence.. It’s a worthy revenge, it’s just a pity that it’s not done in an institutional manner.” Later, Ynet published an article with a title suggesting that Shlezinger “apologized.” Here is his “apology”: “It was a mistake to say those things in a live broadcast. I was wrong. We need to get into them (sic), in the strongest possible manner, like I saw the heroic soldiers do it in Khan Younis, Jabalia, and Rafah … The terrorists need to be executed according to law. To let the state deal with them, to remember and to remind what Amalek did to you.” So, Shlezinger is now once again referring to the biblical Amalek story, suggesting total genocide down to babies and animals. This is his “apology.” By the way, the systematic abuse of prisoners is already established state policy — but not necessarily gang rape. Channel 12 tried to distance itself from Shlezinger’s views expressed on air. The production “regretted” the discussion and noted that it was said to Shlezinger that those things should not have been said. The host, Niv Raskin, said that he “distances himself from those sayings,” and that “it would have been right to do so in the broadcast itself” (which he didn’t do — the challenge to Shlezinger came from Haaretz journalist Josh Breiner). Raskin notes that “Shlezinger expressed remorse over the sayings and issued an apology.” But the “apology,” as we see, invokes genocide and is merely a regret of having advocated for rape on air. The broadcaster Keshet “unequivocally condemned the statements that were said today on live broadcast,” asking the production “not to invite Shlezinger to the morning program in the near future.” A day later, on Thursday, Middle East Eye released another testimony of a male Palestinian prisoner who was subject to rape, reporting on the systematic sexual abuse, but this time with an additional angle — female teenage soldiers raping men. It must be noted that the whole phenomenon of men testifying openly, with their name and on video, is something that had not existed pre-October 7. The shame related to such occurrences meant that, on the rare occasion where it was reported, it would be anonymous. But now we have seen a series of such testimonies, which demonstrates not only the systematic nature of the abuse but also the fact that these men are now willing to put their privacy and personal dignity aside to help change the reality for their brethren still undergoing the abuse on a daily basis. Ibrahim Salem, who was released last week after nearly eight months of detention, told Middle East Eye of his torture and interrogation at Sde Teiman (trigger warning): “I noticed that [the soldier] was glueing something on me. Then I started shaking. He was electrocuting me. He electrocuted me in sensitive spots and hit me in these spots.” The report continues: “Though it was rampant, inmates rarely spoke about it to each other, he said. It was embarrassing for many to admit, especially when they were raped by female soldiers, who were sometimes in their teens. It was common practice for soldiers to strip detainees naked, insert objects into their rectum and grab their genitals aggressively when they changed. When word got around that a prisoner in his 40s was raped, Salem kept getting close to him until he told him what happened to him. ‘He told me he was raped by a female soldier,’ Salem told Middle East Eye. When he asked him how it happened, the prisoner explained it would take place in the presence of another soldier in the room. The prisoner would be bent over a desk with his hands placed in front of him, handcuffed. The female soldier, standing behind him, would insert her fingers and other objects into his rectum. Salem said he was also touched in his private parts by a female soldier and had objects inserted in his rectum at some point.” Last week began with the Israeli human rights non-governmental organization B’tselem releasing a new report on Monday titled “Welcome to Hell – The Israeli Prison System as a Network of Torture Camps,” which makes the point that Sde Teiman is “only the tip of the iceberg.” So everything above is not exceptional. It’s the product of a system. And this is partly why this one story of gang rape is making the headlines in Israel, although for various and opposing reasons. The right wing wants the story to be justified and to go away so that soldiers can continue abusing Palestinian detainees with impunity. The center and left mostly want it prosecuted so that it can be chalked up to a few “bad apples.” This was the case with the murder case of Elor Azarya in 2016 — where the medic-soldier shot an already incapacitated Palestinian suspect in the head at point-blank range. Azarya was also caught on video. Although what he did happened “tons of times,” according to his comrades, he was to serve as the “bad apple,” which in turn would prove the innocence of the system. Azarya’s trial was a sham, and he eventually returned home to a hero’s welcome after a nine-month prison term. This is roughly what we should expect here. The Israeli center needs to differentiate between the murdering Zionist, the gang-raping Zionist, and the liberal Zionist. But the rot is way too overwhelming. It won’t help to close down Sde Teiman. This story is about the systemic usage of sexual violence as a weapon of genocide. And Sde Teiman is just a reflection of Israeli society, a cog in a network of torture that reflects and replicates an overall rape culture. Wide variation in the risk of side effects after COVID-19 vaccination Some people who received Pfizer/BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine had a significantly higher risk of reported side effects than others. This is the main finding of a research collaboration that has analysed data from Sweden and Denmark, published in the journal Medicina. Using official records, the researchers identified the same worrying trends in Swedish data that they had found in a previous study of Danish data. COVID-19 vaccine administered during the first months of the vaccination roll out resulted in significantly more side effects. It was mainly the elderly, care workers and other healthcare professionals who received these early batches. Seeking to confirm their earlier findings (Schmeling et al., 2023) in an independent data set, the researchers analysed publicly available records of suspected adverse events related to BNT162b2/Comirnaty from the Swedish Medical Products Agency (57,000 records spanning 3 years of reports). The research showed that in both Sweden and Denmark, the likelihood of experiencing side effects after Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine depended largely on which batch of the product the person received. - “With this new study, we have been able to confirm a major safety issue with Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. The Swedish data shows that this was not just a phenomenon in Denmark, as our earlier study has shown, but likely to be a widespread problem” says Dr. Vibeke Manniche, one of the researchers behind the study. According to Dr. Manniche, such large differences in adverse event reports, related to specific batches of a medical products, would normally have led to safety reviews and product recalls. In both countries Pfizer/BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine that was the main one used to vaccinate the population. Analysis of Swedish data found that reports of side effects were distributed between batches of vaccine that showed in 3 very different side effect profiles. This reveals a safety issue identified in Denmark and confirmed in Sweden. The same pattern has also been reported in an independent study from the Czech Republic published in June 2024 (Fürst et al., 2024). This is highly irregular as a medical product should present a single side effect profile, not 3 different ones. A second important aspect of this research is that the Swedish data shows a large degree of side effect underreporting, particularly from health professionals. - "The purpose of an adverse event reporting system is in the early identification of side effects associated with a medical product, particularly serious side effects. In the case of BNT162b2 and other COVID-19 vaccines, for some reasons this did not happen, and safety signals were missed. Our findings show that the official reports reveal serious concerns about vaccine safety, which have not been properly addressed. Evidence suggests that the official data we were provided with has not been analysed for batch dependent safety signals" says Associate Professor Jonathan Gilthorpe. As a third finding, this new study revealed that the large majority of reported side effects, some 75%, effected women. - "There could be several reasons for such an observed gender difference. But whatever the reason, it is a safety signal that should have been scrutinised by the authorities", says statistician Max Schmeling. The researchers are now investigating the mortality associated with the COVID-19 vaccines and expect to publish their findings later this year.
