Trout season starts this Saturday and Michigan wants to rain…????????

Trout fishing next weekend…going to be tough with water being so high.

In the U.S., it has recently been reported that whales are being severely affected.  In Scotland, it’s trout.  

Just before I made it to the first of four or five #ForestLakes, I came across this beautiful #waterfall. The trail pretty much follows this stream from the #SouthBoulderCreek to the Forest Lakes. Just about all trails in the #mountains follow streams, because they take the path of least resistance. The water flows year around most years and is 100% fed by the #glaciers that persist all year at these altitudes. The #creeks and #lakes are all loaded with #trout and it's a wonder how they all get there. While I don't live in the #mountains yet, that's where my heart is. I spend a lot of time visiting them and will always come back. Today was a happy afternoon spent with friends, enjoying the deliciousness of Atun cream and divine Merida trout. The creamy texture of the Atun contrasted perfectly with the juicy, succulent trout from Merida. We all savored every bite as we laughed and chatted together in this special moment. Having a really good cup of coffee and trying to figure out what to do on this nice Saturday ! Thinking of maybe gettting out the fly rod and seeing if the bigger trout are heading out of the lake into the river to spawn. Usually in the fall can catch some big ones this way. good afternoon everyone, when we have to solve quickly in the kitchen, this came out for lunch, a trout accompanied with yellow potatoes and a salad I think it looks good right.

Really good hike in along the river with the girls. Saw some eagles fishing in the river but didn't see any trout taken. But it was pretty day in the mountains. Glad we went had a lot o fun. As well a lot of exercise !

#Wyoming's #Vedauwoo #SRA has so many different terrains that there's something for everyone. This #BeaverDam and resulting #floodplains is right behind my favorite #freecampsite and offers pretty good #trout #fishing. Though, they will not bite on anything artificial. Tree frogs caught in the area work the best. Lucy is debating if going in the water is a good idea, lol.
