LIVING MEMORIES ! 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 WHEN IT SEEMS ALL THE ODDS ARE AGAINST YOU! 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 With time, I have come to the conclusive belief, that containing emotions is no longer a virtue, but the pride that you can do it alone, when evidently you need help. DON'T GET ME WRONG PLEASE... WE ARE OF A DIFFERENT MAKEUP, AND TRULY THERE ARE THOSE BUILT STRONG ENOUGH TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THEIR PAINS ALONE. BUT I JUST DON'T BELIEVE ANYMORE IN TRYING TO LIVE IT OUT WHEN A LITTLE HELP COULD LIFT ME UP. I will try and explain; Many people think it’s only acceptable for children to cry, laugh out loud, openly show disgust or anger. They’re kids ,they don’t know any better, right? But if you want to consider yourself a grown-up, you need to be resilient. The thing is, many people confuse emotional resilience with trying to control their feelings. I also used to believe in that approach. If I could remain calm through adversity, I thought, this was a sign of strength. The problem was, this usually meant I ignored my feelings. This undermined many areas of my life ... I lost many opportunities of freely offered help. It took me SIX YEARS ON THE GROUND AND BEDRIDDEN TO UNDERSTAND THIS. AND IT'S WHY I FIND IT SO EASY TO APPRECIATE EVERY LITTLE GESTURE OF HELP, SOMETHING I WOULD HAVE SNUBBED IN THE PAST. Please appreciate help, every little help that comes your way...if it's money, it may be all the helper have. You know why, SOMETIMES THE ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY BLINDS OUR SENSE OF REASONING AND BIRTHS SELFISHNESS IN US. There were times in the past when I was asked, is it okay, and I will smile answer , *it's well*and within me I was dying silently inside. I thought I was “controlling my emotions.” In reality, I was denying them, being dishonest both with myself and the ones who offered help. It took me a long time I can say ,to finally say I learned my lesson. I don’t intend to control my emotions anymore. Instead, I aim for managing how I respond to the feelings I have. The difference between controlling your emotions and your responses is that you can’t choose which emotions you experience. You can, however, decide what you do with them. For instance,today, and I mean for the past 24 hours and more, it's like the entire world ganged against me. I don't want to bother you with the sordid tales. But I felt abandoned by God this time around... the Almighty God Who has never left my side, appeared to have done so today. Well,to just give an insight,there was no works of the hand for Him to bless. My fragile body composition became a double hell. My inner circle never knew I could survive it this time around, and made much worse by my kid who is down as well. When I used the word, *FRAGILE,* those living around would say,*hey! the guy is the father of lies himself.* Though,he barely comes out under the pretense of his disability,as if his own is the worst in the world ,but the few times I or we have seen him, he looks perfectly healthy (all round fatness. Why would he lie like that? To beg for help because he's too lazy to work or support his ever undeserved premature aging wife. Everyone has a right to a personal opinion...I just wished they will draw closer before forming an opinion. Emotions are triggered by your unconscious mind, based on the experiences you had in the past,and is having currently, and probably continue to have. When something reminds you of a memory, your mind elicits the emotional response associated with it. In this scenario, you’re overridden by your emotions. You react to them on autopilot, according to patterns from the past. For example, you feel angry — therefore you yell at your partner. Or, you feel insecure — therefore you withdraw. You default to automatic behaviors that aren’t serving you. But by God's Grace and Mercy, prompted by His Holy Spirit, I remembered and continue to remember the GOODNESS OF GOD IN MY LIFE AND FAMILY, without WHOM I would have long been extinct. I remembered His Word and His Promise; For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jer 29: 11) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Jer 1: 5) When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (Isa 43: 2) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Mat 28: 20) With these Holy Spirit reminded scriptures,I came to my senses and asked Daddy for forgiveness,for my ungratefulness, worst of all belittling His Presence Around Me,when I thought He Wasn't. And now, I AM CONFIDENT HE'S BEHIND THE SCENES WORKING IT OUT FOR ME. LIKE OUR DEFAULT NATURE,WE LACK PATIENCE, AND I PRAY FOR PATIENCE DEAR LORD, EVEN IF IT MEANS MY GOING DOWN THIS WAY...YOUR WORD IS SACRED AND MUST BE HONORED; For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. (Heb 10: 36) I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. THAT I MAY KNOW HIM (Phil.3:10)! 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 PREACHING OF SELF, AND NOT CHRIST JESUS IS BIRTHED BY OVER ASSESSMENT OF SELF. (2COR.4:1-) 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 This is the concluding part of *NEVERTHELESS AT THY WORD!* 13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isa 14: 13-14) Before even talking about Christ Jesus, this hydraheaded monster has already been at work between senior pastors and their associate pastors. INDEED,SATAN WAS CRAFTILY ABLE TO IMPROVISE THIS *SELF FIRST ISN'T SELFISHNESS* CENTURIES AGO WHEN HE USED MAN AS AGENT TO DERAIL,OR BETTER STILL DELAY GOD'S PLAN OF A UNIVERSAL CHURCH. To start with, Apostle Peter, on whose charge Christ Jesus left the early church, NEVER bore the title of Pope no matter what the Roman Catholics claim. It was after the era of Peter and the other early disciples that human doctrines were introduced into the church by the obstinate Jews who became Christians and the ambitious heathens converted to Christianity because of what they stand to gain and not genuine love for Christ Jesus I hope we remember 2Cor.4:4,where we are told that the devil blocked the hearts of men to the Gospel. You see, the purpose of that post was that the purpose of Gospel ministry was not to amuse the goats, but to call the sheep. But we discovered the world’s problem: they are blind to the glory of Christ. Therefore, the Church’s mission is to solve that problem. If we’re doing something that won’t solve that problem, we need to stop...the preaching of self instead of Christ Jesus. The question is, then, what solves that problem? How can the Church be instrumental in the opening of blind eyes? Well, Paul gets to that in verse 5. Just as we must know the purpose and the problem of Gospel ministry, we must also know the proclamation. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. (2Co 4: 5) What does it mean to “not preach ourselves?” It means that we don’t put ourselves—the messengers—forward as the appeal to unbelievers in our ministry. FOR THE MESSAGE IS GREATER THAN THE MESSENGER. We don’t make our methodology or our style the draw. We don’t appeal to that which is fleshly or worldly in the unbeliever in order to attract and compel their participation. Instead, we do everything we can to get ourselves out of the way so as to be merely incidental—merely the finger that points to the substance, to the content of the message: that Christ Jesus is Lord. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 really sheds light on what it means for Paul that he not be preaching himself. He says,; 1. And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 2. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5. That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (1Co 2: 1-5) What is absolutely amazing about that is superiority of speech, human wisdom, and persuasive words were exactly what you needed if you were going to get your message heard in first-century Corinth. Remember, eloquence and oratory were the prerequisites of cultural engagement and credibility in that society. And Paul says: I determined—I resolved—to be just the opposite. They were seeking wisdom, and all I knew was Christ and Him crucified. They were looking for rhetorical skills and eloquence and I was with you in weakness and fear and much trembling. They wanted someone skilled in the art of persuasion, and my message and preaching had no persuasive words. Unfortunately,that is exactly where today's modern church stands. People want to be persuaded with high sounding words...they desire oratory skills from pastors. Not just that,but also acrobatical displays. *THIS WHY AT THE END OF THE DAY'S SERVICE, WHEN YOU HEAR MEMBERS DISCUSSION ON THEIR WAY HOME, IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT ELOQUENCE AND DEMONSTRATION, OFTENTIMES, HOW WELL THE CHOIR SANG AND THE INSTRUMENTALISTS PLAYED!* Outside that,ask them what they are taking home for the day... nothing. This almost all these generational pastors have become MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKERS, AND PULPITS ARE TURNED INTO PODIUMS. Like I said in the part one, a motivational speaker (sorry, pastor) will mount the altar of God and read a scripture, from there on to the end, IT WILL BE THE TALES OF THE COUNTRIES AND CITIES THEY'VE VISITED AND THE MIGHTY WORKS THEY DID...after all Christ Jesus said greater works than these shall ye do. AS IF CHRIST JESUS VALUED MIRACLES THAN SALVATION OF SOULS. Go to the Bible,every signs and wonders Christ Jesus performed led to genuine salvation of souls...NOT THE ABRACADABRA MAGIC GOING ON TODAY. INSTEAD OF LEADING PEOPLE TO CHRIST JESUS, THEY ARE LEADING THEM TO THEMSELVES. THAT'S THE REASON FOR THE PROLIFERATION OF CHURCHES. WITHOUT EXAGGERATION, I HAVE WALKED INTO A GROUP OF SIX YOUNG MEN PRACTICING HOW TO SPEAK IN TONGUES IN 1996. Look at Paul's view on this; “Because if I did that, I’d be preaching myself! And then your faith would rest on the wisdom of men, and not on the power of God!” And so as ministers of the same Gospel, we don’t preach ourselves. In fact, Paul even says in 1 Corinthians 3:5, “What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Slaves through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.” And back in 2 Corinthians 4:7, Paul says: Listen, we’re just earthen vessels, just clay pots. We don’t do anything to make much of ourselves, because we want “the surpassing greatness of the power [to] be of God and not from ourselves.” Christian ministry is not about trying to gain a following, fill seats, and get famous. The problem we’re trying to solve by our preaching and teaching is,how to open the world’s blindness to the glory of Christ Jesus.And so we don’t preach ourselves, because no matter how slick or clever our presentation is, that’s not what saves people. That’s not what opens their eyes to see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ. And today, if there is anything that plagues contemporary evangelicalism today it is an epidemic of preaching ourselves. One of the greatest marks of the unhealthiness of the Church is that rather than manifesting the glory of Christ Jesus and His Huge and unfathomable Sacrifice on the Cross, instead, we are making it look like a circus show. The merchant pastors of today attempt to show the world how much alike we are. In so doing, professing Christians present themselves to the world, and, purposefully or not, implicitly ask unbelievers to receive them long before calling them to receive Christ Jesus. They thereby turned the church of God into a money making venture. REMEMBER,A YEAR OR SO AGO,I TOLD US,(THOSE WHO BELIEVE), THAT,FOR EVERY MIRACLE OF GOD, THE DEVIL HAS A MAGIC, AND FOR EVERY GOD'S LAW,SATAN HAS A COUNTERFEIT. 13. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2Co 11: 13-15) When God kept His Promise on Pentecost Day and released the Holy Spirit,the devil also did same to his followers. Believe you me,if you can,THERE ARE SOME PASTORS IN THIS ERA THAT ARE READY TO DIE WITH YOU IF YOU DARE TO CALL THEM FAKE. YOU KNOW WHY? THEY EQUALLY RECEIVE LOOK ALIKE (AKA COUNTERFEIT) REVELATIONS TOO,AND ARE GREATLY CONVINCED AND ASSURED THAT IT'S FROM GOD. Before you shake your head, remember King Saul's visit to the witch at Endor he believed to have spoken with dead prophet Samuel. Then the question arises,how do we know or identify them? First,get committedly loaded with God's Word and ask for the gift of the spirit of discernment. Every true believer in our today's world must cry to God for the spirit of discernment. Secondly, watch out for their methods of operation. If you carefully look deep enough and disallow yourself from being hypnotized, you will discover that they're actually sorcerers... bringing snakes from people's mouths, vomiting razor blades and lizards,selling of *special* spiritual items,etc. The list is inexhaustible. Thirdly,watch out for who takes the glory. You have to be extra keen to observe this. Truly,we can go and on. May God keep us from esteeming the glory of Christ Jesus so lightly that we’re willing to haggle with unbelievers about His worth, by seeking to entice them by something other than Him. “Theatrical lighting” and “cutting-edge music” will never open blind eyes. Only the gospel of Christ crucified, risen, and reigning as Lord, can solve the problem that the Church is called to solve: And so Paul declares that we Christians do not preach ourselves, because that will never solve the world’s problem. Instead, we preach—that’s our method—Christ Jesus as Lord—that’s our message. That is Gospel ministry, friends. May we not be confused about our task. 🙇🙏😞! Amen.

JUST A MINUTE PLEASE 🙏[THE PREACHER'S CORNER] 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 WEIGHED IN BALANCE (SCALE) AND FOUND WANTING! [DAN.5:4-6] (PART TWO) 🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧🚧 Yesterday night, because of fatigue, I couldn't really go all the way. Remember we used Belshazzar' story that led to being WEIGHED AND FOUND WANTING...and it was all because of sin. Sin is the transgression of the Law. When our time comes to be weighed, the Law is going to be on the other side of the balances. The Law demands perfect obedience, and therefore, if we are going to weigh out, we must be diligent and say, “Lord, help me by Your grace to get all sin out of my life now.” That is one of the great problem of our generation who plan to get sin out of their lives at some future time; but not now. When they don't know what tomorrow holds for them. Getting sin out of our lives is not a single day adventure... it's an entire life project. That's why there's no time to waste... we have wasted much,we can't afford to waste more. Reason this,“Since Christ Jesus has made such an infinite sacrifice for us, how cruel it is that we should remain indifferent. Individually, we have cost the life of the Son of God, and He desires us to walk out by living faith, believing in Him with all the heart. He would have you bring the truth of God into the inner sanctuary [that is, our hearts), to soften and subdue the soul; for when Christ Jesus is dwelling in our hearts by faith, we will love those for whom He died,who are yet to realise this. Suppose that the trump of God should sound tonight, who is ready to respond with gladness? How many of you would cry, “Oh, stay the chariot wheels; I am not ready”? Of how many would it be written, as it was written of Belshazzar, “Thou art weighed in the balances and art found wanting”? To be wanting in that day is to be wanting forever; for when Christ Jesus shall come in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory, we must be all ready to be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and to be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. Do you see what it means to come up to the last day and be wanting? Our only safety is in coming to Christ Jesus and ceasing from sin this moment.(most especially deliberate sin,though all sins are sin.. small or big). If you decide that you are going to quit some sin in your life tomorrow, you have, at the same time, decided that you are still going to do it today. Now, if you decide that you are going to sin today, can Christ Jesus be your Lord and Saviour today? No, He cannot. You have placed yourself outside of the vale of mercy; and if you should die today, you are lost. “It is possible to be a partial, formal believer, and yet be found wanting and lose eternal life. It is possible to practice some of the Bible injunctions and be regarded as a Christian, and yet perish because you lack qualifications essential to Christian character. If you neglect or treat with indifference the warnings that God has given, if you cherish or excuse sin, you are sealing your soul’s destiny. You will be weighed in the balance and found wanting. Grace, peace, and pardon will be forever withdrawn; Christ Jesus will have passed by, never again to come within reach of your prayers and entreaties.; Dear brethren,this is serious business. Are we praying every day and saying, “Lord, please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Give me any rebuke I need, just do not take Your Holy Spirit from me”? THIS IS WHERE WE NEED GENUINELY BORN AGAIN PASTORS. WHY? I find that there are many people who have a lot of questions about counsel and believe that in whatever we do, we should follow counsel. The Bible does say that in a multitude of counsel there is safety. We do need to move in harmony with counsel, but we also need to remember that from whomsoever we are receiving counsel, it does not matter who it is, unless that person(pastor) is giving evidence that the Holy Spirit is working in their life, otherwise,we cannot depend on their counsel. Most counsels from our modern pastors today are of how to prosper,dream big and live out our dreams. This group of pastors are more worldly conscious than heavenly. This isn't to say that they don't preach sin, they do,at least most of them do... BUT NOT WITH THE SERIOUSNESS THAT CANCEROUS PLAGUE NEEDS...THEY SOFTEN IT, SO AS NOT TO HARDEN THEIR LISTENERS POCKETS OR POSSIBLY REDUCE THE SIZE OF THEIR HARVEST FIELD (NOT GOD'S,MIND YOU) Perhaps, you are already confused by these men whose counsel is erratic. But If you will come out from these men and be separate, you will be in a much better position to advance the desire of God for you. There is no safety in following the counsel of men who are not vivified by the Holy Spirit, unless they must be reformed, or. else they will be weighed in the balances of the sanctuary, and found wanting.” Someday, though, we do not know when, we are going to be placed in the balances. The weight of our character, when put in the balance, will be determined by the motives that caused us to act. If we do not have the love of Christ Jesus in our hearts, we may be doing the right things, but we will not weigh out. “God is weighing our characters, our conduct, and our motives in the balances of the sanctuary. It will be a fearful thing to be pronounced wanting in love and obedience by our Redeemer, who died upon the Cross to draw our hearts unto Him. God has bestowed upon us great and precious gifts. He has given us light and a knowledge of His will, so that we need not err or walk in darkness. To be weighed in the balance and found wanting in the day of final settlement and rewards will be a fearful thing, a terrible mistake which can never be corrected.” WHAT GOD DESIRES FROM US IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE...NOT WHAT WE CAN GET FROM HIM... NO, GENUINE LOVE THAT BREEDS RESPECT, PURE ADORATION AND AFFECTION... IT'S WHY IT'S DESCRIBED AS A BRIDE AND BRIDEGROOM AFFAIR. HE ALREADY KNOWS OUR DESIRES; But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1Co 2: 9) Now read this from the Bible Book of Revelation; “When this church is weighed in the balance of the sanctuary, it is FOUND WANTING, HAVING LEFT ITS FIRST LOVE. The True Witness declares, ‘I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and has found them liars: and hast borne, and hast patience, and for My name’s sake has laboured, and hast not fainted.’ [Revelation 2:2, 3.] Notwithstanding all this, the church is found wanting. What is the fatal deficiency? ..Thou hast left thy FIRST LOVE.’ Is not this our case? Our doctrines may be correct; we may hate false doctrine, and may not receive those who are not true to principle; we may labor with untiring energy; but even this is not sufficient. What is our motive? Why are we called upon to repent?—‘THOU HAST LEFT THY FIRST LOVE ' You see, if we do not have the love of Christ Jesus in our hearts, we can be doing the right thing, but fail to weigh out. The people in the Ephesian church were not heretics. In fact, those who professed to be apostles, but whom they found were not, they cast out. Their doctrines were right and they hated error, but that is not enough. There will come a time when you will be weighed, and doctrines alone are not enough. If you do not have the love of Christ Jesus inside, you will be wanting; you will be lacking. “You may manifest great zeal in missionary effort, and yet because it is corrupted with selfishness, and it is nought in the sight of God; for it is a tainted, corrupted offering. Unless the door of the heart is open to Christ Jesus, unless He occupies the soul temple, unless the heart is imbued with His divine attributes, human actions when weighed in the heavenly balances, will be pronounced ‘Wanting.’” Dear brethren,each one of us is coming to our last day in this world, and each one of us is going to be weighed in the balances. Are we getting ready? Do we have the love of Christ Jesus inside? His meekness, His lowliness? Are we obedient to Him; do our thoughts, words, and the tone of our voices reveal that fact? Today,we can choose to make a covenant with the Lord and say, “Lord, I am choosing to lay aside everything that would not be in harmony with Your will; I pray that You will fill my heart and mind with Your Holy Spirit and change them,” Amen🙇🙏!

You came naked You will leave naked You came without anything You will leave without anything You arrived weak You will leave weak So, why so much hatred, resentment, envy, selfishness and pride? We will all go empty handed, what all material things we have earned, we earned here, and will leave everything here only. The only thing that will go with you, that you actually earned here is the love you shared, the compassion you showed, the humbleness, your gratitude, your helpfulness, your kindness. That is the legacy you will leave here that everyone will follow.

THE DIARY OF A CHRIST FOCUSED CHRISTIAN! ???????????????????????????????????????? LOOKING BACK; THE LOT'S WIFE SAGA...THE LESSONS! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ======================= But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. (Gen 19: 26) Remember what the Lord thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt. (Deu 24: 9) Remember Lot’s wife. (Luk 17: 32) Perhaps, the verse above should be the second shortest verse in the Bible, after *And Jesus wept* in John 11! And both verses attributed to Christ Jesus are laden with ominous undertones. Lord Christ Jesus,in your Name,I ask for mercy and grace,which only is capable of breaking into pieces out hearts of stone,that Your Word might sink into us, and re-mould us into Your desired shape,Amen ????????! Hardly is there any Christian who hasn't heard of Lot and his family. Equally,is there hardly any Christian who hasn't made the same dangerous mistake Lot's wife made,at one point or the other, that's if we are sincere with ourselves. We have,but escaped because of *GRACE* unlike Lot's wife,for at that time grace wasn't readily available as It is today. And that *GRACE* we are wilfully ABUSING today. Everything about this hardly known Lot's wife,speaks of the love,lust and unbridled attachment to material prosperity...*THE VERY AND SAME ALLURES SPEEDILY BUT STEADILY SINKING THE PRESENT MATERIAL WORLD* The story of Lot’s wife in the Old Testament is a great lesson to all believers on how we should live our Christian lives of no compromise or looking back like Lot’s wife did. Lot’s wife is a great example that we can learn from when dealing with temptation or sinning. It is important for us as Christians to have faith in God’s promises and trust Him as He leads us through life’s trials and tribulations. The bible verse, “but Lot’s wife looked back and she became a pillar of salt,” in Genesis 19:26 reminds us of the danger of looking back as believers. It is why our Lord Jesus Christ tells us we must remember Lot’s wife whenever we think of looking back or turning to the world we once forsook if we are not to end up like her. Lot’s wife became a pillar of salt and perished because her heart was still in Sodom even if she was out of Sodom and Gomorrah as she couldn’t stand the things she left there getting destroyed by fire. Allow me to point out the effect of whom we associate with here, before we move on. It's said *Birds of the same feather flock together* This is true of Papa Lot, and if he makes it Home, it's certainly by GRACE. It's evident that Lot's wife is at home with the ways of the world,but her husband wasn't innocent either.
