    WALKING BLINDLY WITH GOD!

    It seems crazy to think of it...how can I walk blindly when nothing is wrong with my eyes...yet that's God's desire for us... But then, God isn't thinking not talking about our physical eyes at all...it way more than that;

    Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. (Mat 13: 13)

    When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Mar 2: 17)

    If we had the choice to walk blindly or by sight, everyone of us would choose to walk by sight. It’s scary to walk blindly because we can’t see what’s ahead. While it may seem safer to have our eyes to rely on, we are actually called to walk blindly with the Lord...and it's called Faith.

    Many a time in our lives,we do think we see and understand more than God... especially because of somethings He would require us to do. Things that seem like madness in reality.
    Yet,that is what God wants...to trust Him unconditionally...Pro.3:5 tells us not *to lean on our own understanding*

    Isaiah 55:9 reminds us, “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

    I have always maintained that until you are CALLED A FOOL because of your walk with God,you haven't really developed a close intimacy with God. His ways are always beyond what we can see or understand, except the ones He wants to
    He created us, and knows our individual capacity... that's why there's no GRACE MATE.

    We will never be able to predict God’s ways because He works through the impossible. God loves to show off in our lives and He does so by doing things beyond what we can think or imagine.
    Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”

    God will not and can never limit Himself to our small-minded thinking. He wants to do miracles in our lives, but WE MUST BE WILLING TO FOLLOW HIM EVEN WHEN IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

    We are to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). If we have been accustomed to making decisions based on our common sense, we must ask ourselves are we really walking by faith?

    We read throughout scripture that the people God used all had to take steps of faith and get out of their comfort zone. God asked Abraham to leave his home and country to a land he couldn’t see. (Genesis 12:1).

    David who wasn’t trained up as a soldier was able to defeat Goliath, the greatest warrior of his time with just stones and a slingshot (1 Samuel 17:50).

    God asked Gideon to bring only 300 men to fight against thousands of Midianites.
    (Judges 7:7).
    Hosea had to marry a prostitute... imagine God's own prophet marrying a prostitute!

    Prophet Isaiah had to (under God's Instructions) walk naked it the streets of Israel for three(3) years.
    Jeremiah,our weeping prophet, sometimes called the prophet of doom ate dung mixed with faeces under Divine direction. The scriptures are replete with amazing stories of weird things God asked His children to do,to demonstrate HIS OMNIPOTENCE, OMNIPRESENCE AND OMNISCIENCE.
    Just imagine marching round a huge wall,with the battle ready enemy waiting to strike.

    God asked them all to do what didn’t make sense so that He would have the glory. Scripture makes it clear that God was with them and it was God who brought them success.

    WHAT OF OUR CHRIST JESUS,PEOPLE NEEDED WINE AT A WEDDING IN CANA, BUT HE TOLD THE SERVANTS TO FILL THE DRUMS WITH WATER AND SERVE IT LIKE THAT TO THE GUESTS...IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE BEST WINE THEY HAD EVER TASTED. IF THE SERVANTS HAD REFUSED AND SAID *HE IS MAD*....

    This is the God we serve – the GOD of all IMPOSSIBILITIES

    Matthew 19:26 says, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

    God will never operate in our common sense ways because He doesn’t have to. If He can move in ways that will blow our minds away, He will do it for His glory.

    What step of faith is God calling you to do? Will you put aside your fears and trust God despite what you see?

    God wants us to learn to trust Him. It will require us to step into the unknown and believe God will come through.

    Just as God was with Abraham, David, Gideon, and many others, He is also with us and for us. No matter what we go through, we can rest, knowing God is always working for our good (Romans 8:28).

    We must remember that we are called to walk blindly with the Lord, trusting that He sees what we don’t. It’s normal to be moving forward without knowing everything. God wants us to learn to depend on Him and less on ourselves. We shouldn’t wait until it all makes sense before we follow God.

    It’s only when we are willing to surrender our ways to God that we will be able to see Him do wonders in our lives. May we take steps of faith so that we can say, “Not to us, Lord, but to your name be the glory..“(Psalm 115:1). So remember, walk blindly with the Lord.

    Prayer: Lord, even when things don’t make sense, I trust that You see beyond what I can see.

    GOD'S VOICE AND THE VOICE OF CIRCUMSTANCES !

    Oftentimes, we allow the voice of circumstances to overshadow God's Voice in our lives...a very dangerous venture,I must say.

    However and truthfully, every believer wants to hear from God. We want to know, "Is this God?" Is this what He’s telling me to do? In ministry it is especially important that we are able to discern the will of God...for our own understanding as well as for those to whom we minister.

    Helping someone or even yourself to comprehend what God may or may not be saying ,can be very odious a task.

    The Bible relates many incidents in which God spoke to people in definite ways at definite times...and they knew the voice of God. Sometimes when God speaks to us, we clearly recognize that He has spoken. Other times, however, we wonder if God spoke or if the messages we heard were just thoughts in our imagination.

    When God spoke to people in Bible times, such as when He appeared to Moses at the burning bush (Exod. 3), there was little room for doubt that it was God. However, God didn’t always speak in such a spectacular fashion...such as when He, on one occasion, He spoke to Elijah in a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:11, 12).

    We often listen for the grandiose voice of God...and yes, sometimes God speaks that way. More often, however, the voice of God comes through more subtly than that. Often God speaks through our quiet moments, through other people, and through life’s circumstances. In a crowded world of noise and life’s distractions, sometimes we have a hard time understanding what God says.

    How do we take the circumstances of life, as mixed up and confusing as they can be, and ascertain what God could be saying to us? Indeed, those who follow God want to hear from Him. We want to know what is on God’s mind and to know His agenda for our lives.

    DIFFERENTIATING BETWEEN GOD'S VOICE AND THE VOICE OF CIRCUMSTANCES!

    Evaluate our circumstances in the light of God’s Word
    God will never contradict Himself; He will never speak to us through our circumstances in a way that contradicts His written Word. The Bible should be our first source of information when trying to discern the voice of God.

    Remember that God uses other people to confirm His voice
    God often sends people into our paths to confirm His will for our lives. We will ENCOUNTER PEOPLE WHO WILL DISTRACT US FROM HEARING GOD'S VOICE; BUT GOD WILL ALSO USE PEOPLE TO CONFIRM HIS WILL.

    We need to distinguish between those who are seeking the heart of God and those who desire to please themselves. People who attempt to follow God with their lives can help us to hear from God.

    Recognize that God operates from a plan
    Acts 17:26, 27 assures us that God orchestrates His plans through the events, the decisions of life, and all the people and places we encounter so that mankind will call out to Him;
    A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. (Pro 16: 9)

    Examine our circumstances in the light of God’s overall plan.
    When trying to hear from God through the circumstances of life, we should not try to make a decision on one event or set of circumstances because circumstances may or may not be God speaking to us. We should look at our life over a span of months or years. Jeremiah 29:11, indicates that God has a definite plan to prosper us and give us hope. When we look at our lives over time, we will be able to see what God has been doing for us.

    We should ask, Where has God been leading us? Has He been doing something even when we couldn’t recognize it? In the light of all God has been doing for us, does what we think we hear God saying through our circumstances make sense? We should view what happens in our lives in context with God’s overall plan. God’s ways are obviously better than ours. He will do things in ways we do not understand... GOD'S WAY OF CARRYING OUT HIS PLAN MAY MAKE NO SENSE TO US AT ALL. BUT GOD IS CONSISTENT. He does not change. His overall plan for each of His created beings will work.

    I personally have had times when circumstances indicated one thing and my mind or my experience indicated another. But when I looked back over the span of my life, it made perfect sense. God had, for many years, been shaping me for ministry. AND I SEVERELY SUFFERED, AND I CAN PERHAPS SAY THAT I'M STILL SUFFERING BECAUSE I LISTENED TO THE VOICE OF CIRCUMSTANCES INSTEAD OF THE VOICE OF GOD! Even when His Voice was so clear... corrupting myself with human wisdom. IT'S AN EXPERIENCE I CAN'T WISH ON ANYONE!

    When the circumstances of life consistently line up over time with God’s overall plan, possibly God is trying to speak through those circumstances. Someone may be experiencing the call of God and have no idea at the time that God is speaking. When the call becomes clear it may appear to be a new idea, but it is not new to God. He has been planning it throughout that person’s entire life.

    Don’t allow circumstances to keep us from hearing or obeying God.
    Paul spoke of the opposition he faced as he was conducting his ministry (1 Cor. 16: 8, 9). The common sense thing to do when everyone opposes you would be to leave, but Paul knew the circumstances were not indicative of God’s will for his life.

    The disciples were in a boat as a furious storm came suddenly upon them. Christ Jesus was with them, but asleep (Mark 4:36–41). Human reasoning would have said, “Give up!” The circumstances surrounding the event looked hopeless; but that wasn’t the truth of the circumstances. The truth was that Christ Jesus had a plan outside that one-boat experience. Christ Jesus woke up, spoke to the storm, and the storm calmed down.

    Sometimes our circumstances may look gloomy, but we haven’t heard the truth of our circumstances until we have heard from God.

    Ask God to show us His perspective on the circumstances
    God said to His exiled people;
    And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jer 29: 13)

    If we desire to hear from God through our circumstances, we must intently listen for the Voice of God. Hearing from God is not always easy. As followers of God, we can spend our entire lives trying to discern God’s will and listen for His voice...when we allow ourselves to be distracted by events within and without us.

    When life becomes challenging...as it so often does...we cannot seem to understand what is happening. We shouldn’t be afraid to ask for clarification. We should feel free to ask, God, what did You mean by that?

    Oftentimes, in my present afflictions, I'm compelled to think I was hearing God say He didn’t love me anymore. Even though the thought makes no sense in light of God’s Word, that’s what happens when we allow our circumstances to speak louder than truth. And my memory will be taken to Romans, chapter 8. I was reminded that nothing can separate me from God’s love.

    God’s primary desire in speaking is for eternal purposes.
    We limit God to this finite world when we fail to remember He is an infinite God. When we try to discern God’s voice through the circumstances of life, we should consider how what happens around us fits into God’s eternal plan to save a lost world from destruction...and to mold His children into the image of His Son.

    Hearing from God is critical for His children to know His will for our lives...whether we are the parishioners in the pews or the pastors in the pulpit. We must listen intently and carefully for His voice through the crowd of noises in the world in which we live.

    Thankfully God has not given up on us. He still speaks to His people today. Our mission is to learn how to hear His voice.
    May the Holy Spirit guide us in Christ Jesus' Name Amen, !

    RE-DEFINING THE PROPHETIC MINISTRY!.
    (JER.1:4-19,2COR.11:13-15)!

    Perhaps, one of the greatest scourge that has hurt mankind and given the devil much victory, is in the fiasco he subtly but craftily introduced much in recent history, is in the prophetic ministry.

    For a keen observer of Christendom, it's undeniable that the activities of modern day prophets have dealt the church a devastating blow, like no other malpractice has ever done, in a very long time.
    And one of its greatest and successful achievements is,the seemingly breathing space it has established as a distraction to lazy Christians, who no longer see the need to study the WORD OF GOD, nor develop our prayer lives,since someone has volunteered to go the whole way as long as the pay is okay.

    Prophetic churches are jam-packed with fortune seeking christians during their meetings, who usually return home famished in their spirits because, instead of being fed with the WORD OF GOD, they're ENTERTAINED with various stories, and physical expressions, which often more than not leaves the hearers with more faith in what man(Satan),can do, than what God has done for us in Christ Jesus.

    The havoc this religious thespians have wrecked on the church can better be imagined. Many a soul, family, marriage and business, etc, has been destroyed and scattered. And their modus operandi has become so sophisticated, that it really takes God's Grace not to fall a victim;

    13. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
    14. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
    15. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2Co 11: 13-15)

    Looking at the church today, it's almost like*MANY ARE CALLED, AND ALL ARE CHOSEN*! It's so so so disheartening that the true servant of God is held with derision and mockery, for in the public perception, all are both sides of the same coin. Like what is happening today in Nigeria, fishing out the genuinely called has become a Herculean task, for all have become deliverance and prophetic ministers...even those known to be committed to holiness and teaching of God's Word have weakened except at least one,in whom is yet found a great measure of respect !

    God gives a specific assignment or mandate(customized message) to every vessel HE chooses to work with. Thus, a Biblical prophet is one who hears from God, and speaks for God. That is, they are messengers who courageously communicate God's message to HIS people. They're God's servants, shepherds and watchmen, NOT GOD'S MASTERS.

    13. Then spake Haggai the LORD's messenger in the LORD's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD. (Hag 1:13)

    Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amo 3: 7)also--Jer.17:16,Isa.62:6,etc.

    So, you see the prophetic ministry has been abused, and bastardized by man. it's being exploited for personal gain by man, and God isn't pleased. I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO AN ARGUMENT,BUT I CAN'T ESCAPE SAYING THE * TITLE, PROPHET* ENDED WITH JOHN THE BAPTIST.

    Come to think of it,prophecy wasn't really supposed to be an independent ministry again, after Christ Jesus came, whereby one is supposed to be self titled *Prophet* again!

    The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. (Luk 16: 16, Matt.11:13).

    This became so because of the outpouring of the HOLY GHOST,on Pentecost Day, upon believers, wherefore priesthood wasn't anymore a family affair nor prophecy a secluded gift. The RIPPED VEIL in the Temple was symbolic of this;

    And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. (Luk 23: 45)

    16. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
    17. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

    Thus, these gifts became available and a treasure to anyone who believes in Christ Jesus and HIS great work of REDEMPTION.
    Thus, titling one's self a prophet wasn't really necessary again, as a God called pastor is expected to manifest two or more of the FIVE LEADERSHIP GIFTS...!

    Howbeit, that just like some other christian beliefs that have been quite difficult to divorce from christian practice, prophecy has been grossly tainted by mundane minded church men, as the purpose has been defeated. The GENUINE and the FAKE have so muddled the whole process that there's no trust again.

    Thus saith the LORD, and HE didn't say anything. Very sensitive and insensitive untruths continue to emanate from these individuals, destroying marriages, families, friendships, careers and what have you. Many faint hearted christians have even lost faith.

    They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. (Eze 13: 6)

    Prophets ought to serve the purpose of God, and not God serving their purpose. God's purpose for prophecy is as clear as daylight.
    Down through the ages,God has used and continues to use HIS true servants to express HIS Thoughts and Mind to HIS children, warning them about the future, and saving them from the present, even using the past to correct them. The main purpose of God for HIS messengers, was to bear God's Word for the aim of teaching, reproving, correcting and training in righteousness (2Tim.3:16, 1Tim.6:11)!

    But,this inspiring function,they have apparently shunned and abandoned today:

    10. His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
    11. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

    GOD BEING SO KIND AND TOLERANT OF ME GAVE ME THE ABOVE SCRIPTURE AS MY MANDATE.HE TAUGHT ME PERSONALLY FROM OCTOBER 1-31,2009, THOUGH I WAS ORDAINED IN 2004, AND CONFIRMED IT WITH A SIGN...THAT YET LIVES TILL TODAY .
    HE SENT ME TO HIS SHEPHERDS AND NOT FLOCKS. BUT I YIELDED TO THE FLESH AND I AM SERVING MY CHASTISEMENT IN REVERENCE. WHAT HE HAS DONE TO THE GLORY OF HIS NAME IN SEVEN YEARS NOW, I COULDN'T DO THE TINIEST FRACTION IN 12 YEAR ON BOTH LEGS.

    We aren't called to be witch catchers, but to be a solution to our world. We aren't called to scatter homes,but to repair broken marriages and relationships.
