• Time to resurrect #musicmonday again. Every monday I (used to) share a song with a special meaning to me and I encourage you to do the same thing.

This time I'm going with Blue from Eiffel 65. This is right now the biggest hit in our household, meaning we play this several times a day and have fun dancing and singing along ????????. I think my youngest must have stumbled upon this while on youtube.

    Do you like it? ????

  • Let me guess: you know the song but you don't know the band's name nor do you know anything else about them.
Such things exist. But it's a great song. I present you Sniff 'n' The Tears with "Driver's Seat" #musicmonday

  • Now that the youtube previews work again, it's time to resurrect #musicmonday. On music monday we share a song and tell what this song means to us, what memories are connected to it, how did it change our life etc.
Here we go: cannibal corpse - staring through the eyes of the dead. Songs like these made me start to understand and like death metal back in the day (we're talking 1994). I think this was the first song of cannibal corpse I ever heard, during "headbanger's ball" om MTV. ???? I still listen to it from time to time.

  • If you have never heard Finnish, this is your chance. Today l am sharing a song of värttinä, a well known Finnish folk band also known outside of Finnish borders.
I quite like them, especially this song. They sing in the Karelian dialect by the way (South-East Finland, close to Russia).

  • This is what YouTube was/is for: one guy covering famous metal songs playing ALL the instruments and doing vocals to top it off.
The comments are all positive and heartwarming to scroll through. Trust in humanity restored hehe.

  • This is another favorite song of mine. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Henry Lee ft. P.J Harvey
When you put two talented people together, it doesn't always work. But in this case...
One youtube commenter asked why this is not shown in chemistry classes lol. He's right, the level of attraction is off the charts. #musicmonday

  • How do you pick a favorite song of The Cure? Impossible. Just too many to choose from.
Instead, I want to highlight this somewhat underappreciated song "Charlotte sometimes". It was based on the children's novel with the same name by English writer Penelope Farmer. It's about a young girl waking up in the body of another girl.

  • Do you guys remember the movie Ace Ventura? And do you remember that concert scene?
It was many teenagers' first encounter with death metal, and Pre-internet they had to use all their talents to find out what the name of that band was.
Well, the name was Cannibal Corpse and the song was hammer-smashed face. Enjoy. #musicmonday

It hits you when you're a teenager, and it hits you when you're an adult who wants to be a teenager again (sometimes lol)

  • I am a great fan of "the good, the bad and the ugly" ????
This guy managed to put in all the recognizable sound effects in under 30 seconds, hilarious.
And where is he playing? Live music at a Hair dresser? #musicmonday

  • People often ask themselves what their true state of being is. It's a hard thing to answer.
But when I have no care in the world and have plenty of time I seem to do 3 things: 1. make food while 2. drinking alcohol and 3. listening to French songs. This is my natural state of being. #musicmonday
