The vaccines are a mad idea, and we are witnessing a totalitarian overreach under the disguise of an “emergency”. Yes, I still needed “expert authority voices” to confirm my inner knowledge and common sense. I still needed validation and felt more secure hearing an “expert” agree with me. Not anymore, thanks God. (And I mean that literally.) I didn’t realise then that “my idol” was much less informed and way more idiotic than myself. After all, he took these untested injections and almost died from them. I didn’t, despite not having invented the technology. All these “experts”, even the so-called resistant “experts” with fancy titles, can all get lost until they prove their humanity, humbleness, courage and common sense to me in action, not words. I think you read my mood by now: I am pissed off and angry, and I make no excuse for it. Angry people cause meaningful changes. Always have, always will. But anger is different from violence. I hate violence, but I like healthy anger. Anger is the most natural reaction when someone abuses or takes advantage of us. It builds meaningful boundaries. Bandits take you more seriously. I know that all these liberal and radical feminists out there want to turn every angry boy into a non-angry complacent self-doubting pussy for a reason. Not many leaders have the integrity to be in a position of power because of their lack of true spirituality. It is based on intimately knowing their false self (ego) and true self through daily spiritual practice, which will equip them with an authentic and profound integrity we can trust. These leaders are almost unheard of these days. Most of our leaders are selfish narcissists who are very clever in deceiving the stupid, naive masses. That’s why history is littered with horrific leaders who only brought misery, oppression, and darkness to the people. One stand-out exception to this rule was Mahatma Gandhi, a deeply spiritual man who freed India for the people in a peaceful way. That doesn’t mean he or the people were not angry about being oppressed by the British invaders in their own country. But Mahatma managed to use this lingering anger energy in a controlled, persistent, and constructive way rather than let it explode in a violent, destructive way that does nothing for the people and only disperses the usefulness of anger for change. That’s why authoritarian regimes often deliberately provoke angry but peaceful demonstrators by shoving extremely aggressive-looking, fear-inducing, powerful riot police in transhuman-looking uniforms into their faces. There are three common tactics to turn angry people into violent people: They set parameters around demonstrations to herd them in. This escalates the fear and violent aggression in the initially peaceful group. Our symptomatic nervous system goes into immediate fight-or-flight mode, but fighting seems the only option when flight is impossible. They know that, of course. If they wanted peaceful demonstrations, they wouldn’t do that, keep a low profile, and only intervene for rare destructive acts of the very few troublemakers and out-of-control people in the group. It is essential to know this mechanism within ourselves, and each of us has to learn to use our anger constructively against the totalitarian regime because violence will always work in their favour. It helps them convince the scared sheeple majority that the “radicals” cause the trouble, not themselves. It also convinces them that more “emergency laws” and “surveillance” are needed to keep them in check. Back to Malone I still don’t think he was deliberately planted or captured opposition as many do, but I keep alert to this scenario as one possibility in this increasingly wicked world. I always felt that his unchecked ego and ambitions were his most significant liabilities, so I lost trust in him. The pivotal moment for me was when he sued the Braggins for “defamation”. I was no reader, nor did I know them at the time. I had no idea what the “defamation lawsuit” was about, and I didn’t care. However, it gave me valuable insight into Malone’s character, and I let him know about it in the comments before I unsubscribed. A man who “fears” for “his” reputation can’t be trusted. And a man who can’t deal with it himself and runs to the courts seemed weak to me. Shortly after, he went into “echo chamber mode” with his Substack and only allowed paying fangirls and boys to comment—a sure sign of a weak, insecure ego that can’t handle critiques or trolls. When he endorsed Trump before Kennedy did, as he proudly brags about in the above article, I knew he was out for a position of power in the new administration. The only time Christianity as a religion was seriously demolished was during those early democratic attempts after WW II. The authoritarian powers during the other 1950 years did get along quite well with religious Christians. Of course, Jesus wouldn’t be regarded as a good Christian at all today as he furiously challenged the corrupt, oppressive Orthodox Jewish religion of the time and was ultimately killed for it by them. It wasn’t the Romans that asked for his crucifixion; it was the corrupt Jewish clergy. Media Using MEMORY WIPING TECHNIQUES from MKUltra? The Allan Memorial Institute You may think you've heard this story but trust me, you have no idea... Agent131711 By this point, everyone has heard of MKUltra and their goal to master mind control, but the story is that MKUltra ended in 1964. The story is that those days are long gone. The story is that MKUltra was a dark chapter in history that would never happen again. And, most importantly, the story is that the MK mind control program was completely unsuccessful. With that being said here’s an eyebrow-raising look at the CIA programs successful memory erasing techniques that are seemingly being deployed on us today by the media… the same media which is operated by the military and CIA… To understand what is happening right now, we must first rewind to the 1940s and 50s. It was during this time that the NIH was running infanticide experiments in hospitals, General Mills cereal company was making poison to be sprayed from balloons, an insurance company was in communication with the CIA about geoengineering, the CIA also hired a magician to teach them how to secretly poison people, Rockefeller was funding “studies” which consisted of molesting children and MKUltra was formed then promptly went to work on mind control experiments. Part of the tax-funded diabolical MKUltra program involved a very important hospital in Montreal, Canada. This hospital was called the Allan Memorial Institute. Allan Memorial Institute It was here that MK had a psychiatrist named Dr. Donald Cameron. Donny-boy was happy to help “help” patients on behalf of a US government entity running shadowy mindf*ck operations on everyone. Because the Canadian government also loves shadowy mindf*ck operations, they threw their citizens tax dollars in for the cause. What exactly was the cause? Well, what was written on the paperwork was to find a cure for schizophrenia. Yes, the Central Intelligence Agency’s black budget program wanted to “cure schizophrenia”….. oooohkaaay… How did they plan to cure people? “By figuring out what was causing schizophrenia?”, you ask. “No, no, no.”, I reply. I remind you this is the government we are talking about here, then I say, “Depatterning. They claimed if they erased people’s memories then rebuilt the patient using a technique called psychic driving the mental illness would be gone.”. In unison, we both say, “…oooohkaaay…”. Before we proceed with Depatterning, let me share some information that Wikipedia pages and similar overviews of this topic happen to leave out - which I’m sure it’s just an accident, or perhaps due to lack of author’s time, or maybe they meant to put it in then forgot. It’s not like they would ever leave this out on purpose, you know? That information is who exactly Dr. Don Cameron was, or should I say, who Dr. Don, the man who helped pioneer memory wiping in the USA and Canada, was affiliated with… In the 1940s, pre-memory-wiping-experiments, thanks to a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation, the Allan Memorial Institute was founded. Only two years later, Dr. Cameron was hired by the government to perform his psychiatry work at the Nuremberg Trials. In fact, it was he who determined the mental state of Nazis and Germans as a whole. Dr. C was an interesting choice of psychiatrists being that he deeply hated Germans. When I say he deeply hated Germans, I mean he despised Germans with a passion (probably even more than I loathe cooking and baking). He had so much disdain for them that he made clear, if they were allowed to keep breeding they would all become a threat to the world. According to the doctor, not all criminals were German but all Germans were criminals or, at a minimum, they were guilty of having criminality in their blood, therefore they were just too dangerous to exist as-is. Before his arrival in Nuremberg, Cameron detailed his views on the German population in a paper he titled The Social Reorganization of Germany. In this publication he stated that German culture and all of its individual citizens would have to be transformed and reorganized in order to save the world from these evil doers. Life as the Germans knew it needed to cease… for our safety, of course. This snowballed into the doctors role becoming determining which races of people must be resocialized. “Cameron argued that it was necessary for behavioral scientists to act as the social planners of society and that the United Nations could provide a conduit for implementing his ideas for applying psychiatric elements to global governance and politics.” Before long, Cameron’s work expanded further. Not only was he deciding who was mentally defective and which races of people had criminal potential, but he began classifying anyone who was not decent (by the psychiatric industry standard) as “weak” individuals. Those who fit into the industry shell of a correct person were labeled “strong”. Now, entire races of people, physically ill people, anyone feeling depressed, and everyone they decided to be mentally defective were all deemed weak and therefore a plague to society. A fan of eugenics, the doctor wanted to place limitations on marriage to prevent weak genes (and German genes) from permeating America and Canada. The doctor saw the psychiatry industry as a savior; an authority that should also act as an enforcer. Only a few years post-Nuremberg, Cameron published books that explained that mental illness is highly contagious and could be contracted as easily as listening to music made by a mentally defective individual. Due to the contagion level, he felt all forms of the weak must be removed from society as quickly as possible. To aid in the people sorting, “Inside hospitals nurses would be given the authority to establish the mental characteristics of the parents and the new born baby, in terms of genetic, national and racial orientation as well as the personal histories of the parents”. Doctors would have the same authority over their patients and, of course, the psychiatry industry would do the same because that is what it was designed for. But being that this was such a large undertaking, he wanted citizens to help police and the industries by forcefully quarantining mentally ill people. This information, combined with the assistance of the general public in removing the weak from society, would ultimately result in a perfect America and perfect Canada, filled with only perfect citizens (per the industry standard; the United Nations standard). Shortly thereafter, Cameron discovered that anxiety suffered by the weak was also highly contagious. By the late 1940s, insecure men, jealous men and shy children were added to the list of dangerous members of society (as well as all babies born in Germany… oooohkaaay…) Dr. C’s publications became the blueprint for the medical industry as well as the basis of a new social and behavioral science that would later be adopted by Canadian, American, and World Psychiatric Associations, the American Psychopathological Association as well as the Society of Biological Psychiatry. For this arm of the program, Dr. Donny-boy Cameron was in bed with the CIA's MKUltra, working toward the goal of not only wiping people’s memories, but also having the ability to reprogram the defective individual… In order to erase memories, the doctor, working with the Central Intelligence Agency’s shadow entity, did what made the most sense for the sake of helping the patient, meaning patients were drugged to the point of being limp and immobilized or placed into a medically-induced coma for as much as 16-20 hours per day. During this time they were forced to listen to taped messages which were played on loop, hundreds-of-thousands of times. Experimenters found that if they used headphones on patients and played the loop it would have “greater impact”, so much so that the drugged patient would believe they are hearing a voice in their own head; the patient would believe it was themselves thinking a thought. Prior to beginning treatment, the doctor met with the patients to discuss their problems. During this phase, each patient divulged information to the doctor; information which included painful experiences in their life. Unbeknownst to the patient, this information was going to be used against them during depatterning. The way the audio recording worked was, the first 10 days of messages were negative, often attacking the patient for their personality or using the horrible memories they shared with the doctor against them. For example, one woman was forced to listen to a single sentence, “If you don’t keep quiet, I’m going to leave you behind” - a statement originally said to her by her mother, a statement of abandonment which caused her great distress over the course of her life. By the 45th time this message was played on loop, the woman “begged the experimenter to stop playing it, turned red and began to hyperventilate, started shaking and continued to shake after the recording was stopped.” After the 10 days of negative messages, the following 10 days consisted of positive messages. This practice would repeat for as much as 86 days straight. As the human experimentation progressed, some patients were given large doses of drugs, such as LSD (an MKUltra favorite made in mass bulk by Eli Lilly). Other patients weren’t so lucky and instead received electro-shock therapy. Then there were patients that got the best of both worlds; massive doses of LSD and electroshock treatment. These best-of-both-worlds patients were zapped with up to 75 times the normal intensity of electricity. Another method involved sensory deprivation; placing the patient into an environment where they could not see, smell or hear. Long term sensory deprivation has been proven to cause insanity, but finding a cure was of utmost importance, right? THE RESULT Through this treatment process, it was discovered that peoples minds can indeed be wiped and their personalities can be changed. Many of the patients were unable to recall any memories before seeing the doctor. In some cases, they didn’t even remember their family members, including their own children. These people also had to relearn all of the skills they had. In other cases, people couldn’t remember anything that was happening after the therapy. This form of ongoing instant memory wiping lasted up to two years. Family members of patients also reported that the loved one who came out of therapy was a different person than before therapy. These family members felt as if they no longer knew the now-cold, distant individual that used to be their loving husband, daughter, father or grandmother. DID MKULTRA EVER END? Rationality Triumphs over Fear in Federal Court: Chavez et al v. San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) Harvey Risch In a landmark decision in federal court, after a hung jury in the first hearing, the second jury found in favor of fired BART workers who had sued their employer after termination for filing vaccine mandate religious exemption applications. Each of the six plaintiffs in the case was awarded more than $1 million by the jury. During the second year of the Covid-19 pandemic, governments and employers both private and public across the country instituted vaccine mandates requiring employees to have completed “full vaccination,” typically two doses of the mRNA vaccines, by set dates in fall 2021. Similar vaccine mandates were ordered for military personnel as well as college and university students. In general, these mandates allowed that mandated individuals could file exemptions based on sincere religious objections or medical necessity, and if these exemptions were granted, employers were then required to seek, in good faith, accommodation positions where the exempted personnel could still work but would pose less of an infection risk to other employees, patients, customers, students etc. This process of exemption and accommodation was covered by Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) rules. According to the EEOC rules, as interpreted after the Groff v. DeJoy Supreme Court case which was decided in June 2023, employers have been required to establish that employees not satisfying vaccination mandates would create “undue hardship” in order for the employer to terminate the employee. The EEOC rules specify that infection risk, such as that occurring during the Covid-19 pandemic, constitutes a valid hardship risk, but what is in question is whether such risks constitute “undue” hardship as stated in Groff v. DeJoy. In a sound and rational analysis, the EEOC rules (section L.3) attempt to quantify the degree of infection hardship risk: “An employer will need to assess undue hardship by considering the particular facts of each situation and will need to demonstrate how much cost or disruption the employee’s proposed accommodation would involve. An employer cannot rely on speculative or hypothetical hardship when faced with an employee’s religious objection but, rather, should rely on objective information. Certain common and relevant considerations during the COVID-19 pandemic include, for example, whether the employee requesting a religious accommodation to a COVID-19 vaccination requirement works outdoors or indoors, works in a solitary or group work setting, or has close contact with other employees or members of the public (especially medically vulnerable individuals). Another relevant consideration is the number of employees who are seeking a similar accommodation, i.e., the cumulative cost or burden on the employer.” These rules provide a framework for evaluating the degree of infection transmission risk posed by employees, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, in a workplace. What is remarkable here is that EEOC used the “does,” not the “can,” criterion. “Does” is rationality; “can” is fear. In legal cases at deposition or testimony, science and medical experts are frequently asked questions such as “Doctor, can drug X cause bad event Y?” Medical and science experts live in a mental universe of science theories, and of course, there might be some possible circumstance where drug X could cause bad outcome Y. We were taught in medical school, “Never say never.” The question however is not really asking whether, in theory, drug X could cause bad outcome Y, but rather whether here on planet Earth, such outcomes actually do happen. The opposing attorney is trying to get a sound bite from the expert that the drug is potentially harmful. So while the question as posed asks “could” (or “can”) the drug do damage, the correct answer from the expert is, “In theory, the drug could do this, but in real-life applications, the drug does not do this.” “Does” conveys a quantitative estimate of how often things actually happen, whereas “can” is a theoretical question with major fear potential. In 2021, it was not just the general public that had been propagandized to excessive fear of Covid-19, but companies and governments were also made to be afraid. Thus, many company decisions were based on fear, on supposed “worst-case scenarios,” that disregarded the range of effects of the decisions in favor of supposed benefits for reduced risks of Covid infection transmission. Compounding this problem, the vaccines did appear to reduce risks of Covid transmission during the first half of 2021, giving employers empirical evidence to support their thinking about vaccine mandates. However, by the time the vaccine mandates were implemented in the fall of 2021, the widespread Delta strain of Covid-19 infection had largely escaped vaccine immunity (remember the first booster campaign?) and thus the evidence of Covid-19 transmission risk reduction for “full vaccination” required by the mandates was virtually gone—except that medical experts for the defendants in the BART and other cases were still using the earlier stale evidence to support their scientific assertions. This also violates EEOC rules which require the use of the latest scientific evidence. Thus in retrospect, as I had discussed in my testimony as an epidemiology expert for plaintiffs in the BART case, the jury appears to have eventually appraised the circumstances accurately: the small numbers of religiously exempt employees did not pose a major infection transmission risk in comparison to the large BART workforce or to the even larger BART ridership—patrons who themselves were not required to be vaccinated in order to ride the BART trains. In the case’s initial verdict form, the jury unanimously concluded, for each of the six plaintiffs, in response to the question, “Has BART proven that the plaintiff could not be reasonably accommodated without undue hardship?” they wrote, “NO, not proven by BART.” That is, the fact that such individuals “could” pose infection transmission risks, did not establish an undue hazard that they “would” pose inordinate infection transmission risks. According to the rules laid out by the EEOC, rationality prevailed over fear in this case. One hopes that this legal precedent informs the many similar cases pending, of employees, students, and service members irrationally and unjustly terminated because of fear, not evidence. We can definitively state that he has been a member of the steering committee since at least 2019 (the point at which the earliest backup of the official steering committee member list was made on The Wayback Machine), but beyond that it's impossible to tell when he first joined the committee. However, we do know that since 2010 Thiel has been a Director of the "American Friends of Bilderberg"—a group that tasks itself with "organizing and sponsoring conferences which study and discuss significant problems of the Western alliance" and with "collaborating on the Bilderberg Meetings held in Europe and North America" and whose board has boasted such luminaries as Henry Kissinger, David Rockefeller, Richard Perle, James Wolfensohn and Vernon Jordan. We also know that: Thiel has been on the participant list for Bilderberg every single year since the Bilderberg Group started releasing official participant lists in 2007; Karp has joined Thiel as a Bilderberg invitee each year since 2012; and fellow Thielversians are frequent invitees to the Bilderberg festivities. Those Thielversians and PayPal mafia members who have made appearances at Bilderberg under Thiel's steering committee reign include: Reid Hoffman, a founding member of PayPal's board of directors who has a long history with Thiel; Palmer Luckey, the teenager who created the Oculus VR headset that Thiel funded into existence and who now runs the Thiel-funded Anduril Industries, which makes (as National Propaganda Radio puts it) "AI weapons for Ukraine"; and Kevin Harrington (the managing director of Thiel Capital). Unsurprisingly, the only journalists to ever directly question Thiel about his participation at Bilderberg were a gaggle of independent reporters who braved arrest and assault to cover Bilderberg 2016. Questioned by Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change about the seeming contradiction between his professed "libertarian" values and his participation in a closed-door meeting conspiring with government officials and their financial backers, Thiel served up a hefty portion of this awkward word salad: Or, transcribed: I believe that it's always important to exchange views with people . . . uh, no matter what their perspectives are. . . . Uh, I believe that uh, I'm, you know, I . . . I . . . I think that, uh . . . I think that we have a lot of problems in our society and we need to be . . . uh finding ways to talk to people who need to find ways to talk to people . . . uh, where not everything is completely transparent. Libertarianism is not synonymous with radical transparency. That's often an argument that the Stasi would make in East Germany, where, uh, everything had to be monitored by, uh, by society. And I think often you have the best conversations, uh, in smaller groups where not everything is being monitored. And that's how you can have very honest conversations and how you can think better about the future. Thank you very much. <sarc>Uh, I . . . I . . . I think that that's a very, a very, uh, candid and frank statement by, uh, an individual who . . . uh, is not thinking about what platitudes to mouth, and uh . . . I completely agree with his, uh, with his assessment.</sarc> More seriously, whether or not libertarianism is synonymous with "radical transparency," it is certainly not synonymous with financiers, heads of state, government contractors and other taxpayer-funded oligarchs conspiring behind closed doors about how best to steer the deep state, arm militaries around the globe and surveil citizens in the name of political power and personal profit. So, where on earth did people get the idea that Peter Thiel is a libertarian, anyway? Why, from Peter Thiel, of course! The (Mis-)Education of a (Fake) Libertarian In 2009, just as he began his dive into the political waters, Thiel penned "The Education of a Libertarian," an essay in which he declares in no uncertain terms that he is indeed a libertarian and has been since his youth. He devotes the bulk of the essay to explaining how he spent his student days at Stanford trying to bring about a libertarian awakening through political activism but has since learned that political activism is useless and that the real solution is to be found not in engaging in politics but in escaping politics. He concludes: I suspect that the mode for escape must involve some sort of new and hitherto untried process that leads us to some undiscovered country; and for this reason I have focused my efforts on new technologies that may create a new space for freedom. And what areas of technological advancement has Thiel chosen to focus his supposedly "libertarian" efforts on? He names three: cyberspace, outer space and seasteading. (Yes, that's "seasteading," as previously promoted by Milton Friedman's grandson, Patri, who has since ditched the seasteading dream to start a new venture capital firm—with seed money from Peter Thiel, naturally . . . but that's a whole other story.) Although the essay seems fairly old hat to readers of The Corbett Report, it had two important effects at the time. Firstly, Thiel's lament that "the extension of the franchise to women" has "rendered the notion of 'capitalist democracy' into an oxymoron" gave plenty of pundits fodder for their obligatory "Look at this disgusting libertarian!"-style editorials. In fact, it continues to this very day to provide easy cut-and-paste editorials for finger-wagging, context-destroying online pundits despite Thiel's attempts at damage control. Secondly, the essay cemented in the minds of the lazy left-wing punderati that libertarianism is . . . well, whatever evil thing they say it is. After all, Peter Thiel is a libertarian ("You see! He says so himself! What other evidence do you need?"), ergo all libertarians are billionaire, taxpayer-funded, surveillance-supporting deep state oligarchs. See Wired's "The Libertarian Futurism of Silicon Valley Billionaire Peter Thiel" or "The Libertarian Logic of Peter Thiel" or Mannwest's "Peter Thiel: The articulate libertarian" for some prime examples of this phenomenon. Then enjoy laughing at Reason (no stranger to the concept of fake libertarianism) and its shocked pikachu face article, "Wait, Wasn't Peter Thiel a Libertarian?" This particular form of journalistic idiocy reached its zenith with Inverse's 2016 article on Thiel's Bilderberg membership. In that article, crack Inverse reporter Sarah Sloat somehow manages to both decry Thiel's membership in the conspiratorial Bilderberg group and simultaneously denigrate "conspiracy theorists" for being concerned about said group. She then ends her think piece with the most mind-meltingly stupid statement ever written: Thiel's allegiance to Bilderberg, which seems to have a libertarian bent, makes sense given his wealth and involvement in companies like Palantir Technologies that collect data on civilians. Only the intellectually challenged mind of an ideologically blinded and philosophically illiterate zealot—that is, someone for whom "libertarian" is simply a synonym for "anything I don't like"—could possibly conclude that Bilderberg "seems to have a libertarian bent," let alone that that libertarian leaning is reflected in "companies like Palantir Technologies that collect data on civilians" on behalf of the government. More honest writers are able to admit what should be glaringly obvious to all by now: Thiel is not, in fact, a libertarian, despite what he claims. Even Thiel's biographer, Max Chafkin, is forced to concede that "Thiel was, after 9/11 anyway, no longer much of a libertarian, if he'd ever been one in the first place." Gee, ya think? Yet, if we read "The Education of a Libertarian" even more closely, we garner something genuinely valuable from it: a clue to Thiel's actual ideology and his actual motivation. It comes right at the beginning of the essay, where he lays out his own highly idiosyncratic definition of the term "libertarian." According to Thiel: I remain committed to the faith of my teenage years: to authentic human freedom as a precondition for the highest good. I stand against confiscatory taxes, totalitarian collectives, and the ideology of the inevitability of the death of every individual. For all these reasons, I still call myself “libertarian.” Ah yes, those classical libertarian values: Opposition to confiscatory taxes! Opposition to totalitarian collectives! And . . . opposition to "the ideology of the inevitability of the death of every individual"? Wait, what?! What on earth is "the ideology of the inevitability of death for every individual," and what does that have to do with libertarianism, anyway? Our instinct might be to skim past this line and to chalk it up to Thiel's eccentric, nerdy, sci-fi-obsessed character. But don't. This weird line tells us something important about who Peter Thiel really is. PETER THIEL IS A VAMPIRE Back in 2016, Inc. broke a story under the headline "Peter Thiel Is Very, Very Interested in Young People's Blood." It opened with the intriguing lede, "[. . .] if there's one thing that really excites Thiel, it's the prospect of having younger people's blood transfused into his own veins." Those of us who bother reading past the title (but who's got time for that?!) discover that the story itself is about Ambrosia, a company in Monterey, California, that was then conducting a medical trial titled "Young Donor Plasma Transfusion and Age-Related Biomarkers." The trial sought to establish whether there are anti-aging benefits to the practice of injecting older patients with the blood of younger people. The relevant part of this story is the revelation that Ambrosia's founder—Stanford-trained physician Jesse Karmazin—received a call out of the blue from Jason Camm, the chief medical officer at Thiel Capital and a "personal health director" to Peter Thiel himself. Sure enough, Peter Thiel's personal health director is particularly interested in life extension technologies. The Inc. reporter then cites an interview he conducted with Thiel the previous year. In that interview, while addressing the general topic of biotech and life extension medicine, Thiel had given hints about his interest in the blood of the young: I'm not convinced yet we've found a single panacea that works. It's possible there exist single-point things that could work. I'm looking into parabiosis stuff, which I think is really interesting. This is where they did the young blood into older mice and they found that had a massive rejuvenating effect. And so that's ... that is one that ... again, it's one of these very odd things where people had done these studies in the 1950s and then it got dropped altogether. I think there are a lot of these things that have been strangely underexplored. Ultimately, the article doesn't come to any grandiose conclusion. It notes that Ambrosia was conducting a clinical trial, not operating a business trafficking in adrenochrome. And even if Ambrosia were engaging in such a business, there is no proof offered that Thiel is actually a client. Still, it didn't take long for the sensational story to become even more sensationalized in the online retelling. First, Vanity Fair made the Inc. article's inference more explicit: "Peter Thiel Wants to Inject Himself With Young People’s Blood." Then, New Republic went full clickbait: "Is Peter Thiel a vampire?" (Hopefully, the title of this editorial will finally put the question to rest!) While there is, it must be admitted, no hard evidence that Peter Thiel is an undead creature of the night who flees his coffin each evening to assume bat form and feed on the blood of the innocent, one has to grant that there is no hard evidence that this isn't the case, either (despite his protestations to the contrary)! Perhaps the more important part of the story, though, is what it reveals about Thiel's mindset. That passing reference to "the ideology of the inevitability of the death of every individual" in his strange definition of "libertarian" was more than just a nerdy quirk. Thiel is, as it turns out, consumed by the belief that technology is on the cusp of "solving" the "problem" of death, and he, for one, plans to live forever. He's even reportedly signed up with Alcor, a cryonics company that promises to have a "medical team at your bedside" at the time of your death, "ready to start the process" of freezing your corpse at -196° C so it can be preserved and revivified on that glorious day when doctors "cure" death. Those versed in the transhumanist ideology, predicated as it is on the breakdown of "vitalism"—i.e., the idea that organic life and inorganic matter are fundamentally distinct—will already know where this is going. Parabiosis and cryogenics are just two of the many methods by which the transhumanists hope to transcend our mortal body and live forever in their future cyborg bodies—a key goal of the new transhumanist religion sweeping Silicon Valley these days. So, what does all of this have to do with libertarianism? Why, precisely nothing, of course! But don't expect any legacy media journalist to ever raise (let alone answer) this question. And where does that leave us in our pursuit of the answer to the question of who is Peter Thiel? THE BOTTOM LINE Let's review: Peter Thiel founded PayPal where, as PayPal co-founder Max Levchin brags, "we collaborated with every imaginable three and four-letter agency and those were some of the best, most productive relationships I've had as a business person." He used his role as PayPal CEO to set himself up as the "don" of a "mafia" that continues to rule Silicon Valley (and the world) through their business, government and intelligence contacts. He took the PayPal fraud detection software (developed in collaboration with those "three and four-letter" agencies Levchin spoke of) and spun off Palantir Technologies, a company that just happened to provide the US intelligence complex with the exact tracking, tracing and data-mining capabilities they needed at the exact moment they were "shelving" their publicly reviled Information Awareness Office. Thiel then went on to become not just an annual attendee of Bilderberg but also a member of their powerful steering committee, organizing conferences with his Palantir and PayPal mafia colleagues to discuss such topics as "Changing Faces of Biology" and "Continuity of Government and the Economy" in closed-door meetings with his buddies in government, business, finance, media and the intelligence world. Next he set his sights on purchasing politicians, going all in on Trump in 2016 and securing the orange one's "undying friendship" with a stirring speech about his homosexual Republicanism at the 2016 Republican convention. After successfully suing the US Army, he then used his position as "shadow president" on the Trump transition team to stuff the first Trump administration with a bunch of Palantir staffers and consultants, eventually securing an $800 million contract from the US Army as well as an ongoing series of contracts to supply targeting systems and weaponry for the military-industrial complex in the US and Israel and Ukraine and elsewhere. While placing Thielverse associates in high-ranking positions in the Biden administration, he set his sights on the 2024 (s)election, first buying J. D. Vance a US Senate seat for a cool $15 million (the largest amount given to boost a Senate candidate in the history of the United States) then personally effecting a rapprochement between Vance and Trump in a (successful) effort to get his bought-and-paid-for minion installed as Vice President. All the while he has been using his position as venture capital / hedge fund kingpin to invest heavily in various biotech "advances" and transhumanist life extension technologies. And, through all this, Thiel has managed to convince the world he is a "libertarian" (a word he has redefined to include opposition to "the ideology of the inevitability of death") simply on his say-so. With all that in mind, let's return to the opening question in this three-part series: What do you call someone who identifies as a “libertarian” but who has spent his entire career actively collaborating with governments, militaries and intelligence agencies in an effort to enrich himself and to grow the power of the state? Personally, I call him an oligarch. A Silicon Valley technocrat. A deep state collaborator. A transhumanist. A Bilderberg conspirator. An enemy of free humanity. Whatever you call him, however, he's surely not a "libertarian." But don't take my word for it. Now that Peter Thiel's surrogate is one heartbeat (or one gunshot) away from the Oval Office, I have a feeling the public will be learning more about who Peter Thiel really is in the coming years. Wi-Fi has the potential to influence brainwaves making people vulnerable to suggestibility Rhoda WilsonNovember 6, 2024 Wireless-fidelity (“Wi-Fi”) is harmful due to radio-frequency radiation exposure, pulse-modulated RF carrying data, extremely low frequency (“ELF”) effect on the brain and the Wi-Fi memory effect in body tissues. One of the unwanted effects of ELFs, Keith Cutter believes, is brainwave entrainment, where an external stimulus synchronises brainwaves with its frequency. ELF refers to electromagnetic fields with frequencies between approximately 3 to 30Hz, which is the same range as our brains. Our brains operate within a range of frequencies, with different brainwave states corresponding to specific activities: Delta Waves (0.5-4Hz): Associated with deep sleep, relaxation, and healing. Theta Waves (4-8Hz): Linked to meditation, daydreaming, and increased creativity. Alpha Waves (8-12Hz): Correspond to relaxation, closed eyes and decreased cortical activity. Beta Waves (13-30Hz): Related to attention, mental activity and cognitive processing. Gamma Waves (30-44Hz): Involved in sensory processing, working memory and higher-order cognitive functions. Cutter is most concerned about ELFs at 10Hz from Wi-Fi and other sources. In the presence of a persistent 10Hz signal, due to entrainment, the brain can shift toward that frequency. As noted above, at 10Hz the brain has decreased cortical activity. Cortical activity refers to the electrical and chemical signals generated by neurons within the cerebral cortex, the outer layer of the brain responsible for, among other things, cognition. “This entrainment effect, over time, could create a state where you’re more easily influenced – a ‘suggestible state’. The first time I heard Wi-Fi, I was transported back to the 1970s – I remembered that sound! Why, I wondered, am I hearing the ‘Russian Woodpecker’ on this radio-frequency (“RF”) radiation meter? As someone who’s suffered for decades from the reckless spread of harmful man-made RF radiation and helped many others through their trials as well, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for the uniquely destructive force known as Wi-Fi. I’m not a professional scientist, researcher or doctor but I’m not without experience, and I’d like to share some of my thoughts on why I believe Wi-Fi is so uniquely harmful. I believe there are at least four unique types of harm from Wi-Fi radiation exposure: The radio-frequency radiation exposure itself. A “multiplier” effect from the pulse-modulated RF carrying the data. The 10Hz modulated ELF effect on the brain, disrupting natural rhythms. The Wi-Fi memory effect outside the brain—captured trauma within the body’s tissues RF Radiation in Warfare – The Moscow Embassy Affair Perhaps the first act of warfare using radio-frequency radiation was the so-called ‘Moscow Embassy Affair’ – long before the ‘Woodpecker’, which we’ll discuss in a moment. First, I want to point out the depth and breadth of knowledge about causing harm with RF radiation that existed well before the Woodpecker came into play. Here’s what happened in Moscow: From the 1950s to the 1970s, the US embassy in Moscow was bombarded with low-level microwave (RF) radiation, known as the Moscow Embassy Affair. This covert operation targeted embassy staff, exposing them to RF radiation at frequencies well below the thermal threshold, yet the long-term effects were profound. It raised alarms within US intelligence and spurred decades of research into the biological impacts of non-ionising radiation, uncovering links to cognitive impairments, illness and psychological effects. Note from The Exposé: If an internet search is conducted for the “Moscow Embassy Affair” what might be returned is the Petrov Affair, which refers to a series of events involving Soviet spies and espionage activities at the Australian Embassy in Moscow during the 1950s. The “Moscow Embassy Affair” being referred to by Cutter is more commonly known as the “Moscow Signal.” From 1953 to 1976, the Soviet Union directed low-level microwave radiation at the United States Embassy in Moscow. The exposure was characterised as a daily, continuous beam of microwaves with frequencies ranging from 2.5 to 4.0 GHz, similar to those used in microwave relays, radar and satellite links. The lesson from the Moscow Embassy Affair is clear: the harmful potential of RF radiation has been known for over 70 years, and the technology to exploit it has only become more sophisticated. Wi-Fi and the modern proliferation of Wi-Fi devices may seem benign, but the depth of what we know about the risks – and what we choose to ignore – runs far deeper than most realize. Hearing Wi-Fi Let’s start with ‘hearing’ Wi-Fi. When an RF meter has audio capability, it has a sound demodulation feature or audio output capability. This feature allows the meter to translate the detected RF signals into audible sound, helping users distinguish different RF sources based on the sound pattern emitted. It is beneficial for identifying the nature of the RF signal, such as Wi-Fi, cell towers, or other sources, through audio feedback. I’ll explain what the “Russian Woodpecker” is in a moment, but first, here’s an example of what I heard the first time I experienced Wi-Fi through my meter’s sound demodulation feature compared with a historical recording of the Woodpecker from the so-called Cold War. [Note: we were unable to load a copy of the audio, please see Cutter’s article to listen.] We’ll discuss why the similarities in the sounds between Wi-Fi and the Woodpecker are significant in a moment, but first, where did Wi-Fi come from? What Exactly is Wi-Fi? Of course, it’s everywhere. You get a side order of Wi-Fi radiation with every coffee at almost every coffee shop in the nation. It’s in almost every business and home. So, where did it come from? Our good old friends at the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), who supported and promoted the narrative that non-thermal effects are not scientifically substantiated and helped engineer the absurd SAR-based testing, were the same folks who enabled the introduction of Wi-Fi in 1997. The IEEE’s 802.11 committee developed the initial standards for wireless local area networks (“WLANs”), which paved the way for the commercial release of Wi-Fi. Despite ongoing concerns about potential non-thermal biological effects, the IEEE focused solely on thermal effects in its safety guidelines. It asserts that as long as Specific Absorption Rate (“SAR”) levels remained below thresholds for tissue heating, Wi-Fi and similar technologies were safe. This stance has remained a cornerstone of wireless safety standards, shaping how devices are tested and regulated. Thanks, IEEE! With Wi-Fi, there are two separate modulated radiation emissions: one for the beacon, which continuously projects RF radiation, and one for the data, which projects additional RF radiation. The Beacon The hammering sound of Wi-Fi’s beacon isn’t the sound of data sent from one device to another – that’s in addition to the constant hammering. The hammering is called a beacon. This beacon, pulsing steadily at 10 impulses per second in the extremely low frequency (“ELF”) range, never stops. When you have Wi-Fi “service,” you’re exposed not only to whatever the frequency of the RF, but also to this unique frequency of 10Hz. Here’s how that works. Through pulse-width modulation, a high-frequency RF radiation emission can mimic a lower-frequency emission by controlling the duration of the pulses, creating an effect that simulates the behaviour of the lower frequency while maintaining the original high-frequency carrier. For example, a 2.4GHz stream of RF radiation can be turned on and off at specific intervals, generating both the 2.4GHz carrier emission and a 10Hz pulsed phenomenon, effectively embedding the lower frequency within the high-frequency emission. Here’s the thing – from a technical standpoint, there’s no need for the beacon. For Wi-Fi to offer location-independent connectivity – that’s all it does, by the way, freeing you from using a wire to connect your devices – it doesn’t need the constant beacon to function. The beacon creates an unnecessary and persistent exposure to radio-frequency radiation of both the carrier frequency and the 10Hz phenomenon. Why am I concerned about an ELF phenomenon at 10Hz? Frequencies in the extremely low frequency (“ELF”) range, especially around 10Hz, can interact with biological systems, particularly brainwaves, which naturally oscillate at similar frequencies (such as alpha waves). This raises concerns about potential neurological or physiological effects. Unnecessary constant exposure to both the radiation from the beacon’s carrier wave plus the embedded 10Hz modulation – check. Data Transmission Wi-Fi transmits data through modulated RF radiation in specific industrial, scientific, and medical (“ISM”) bands. The radiation is emitted in bursts, with each burst containing encoded data packets. As data is sent, both the router and receiving device emit radiation while continuously exchanging additional radiation to verify packet integrity. This process results in an undulating emission of RF radiation from both devices throughout the communication session, regardless of data size or speed. The highest exposures occur closest to the transmitting devices and routers, but RF radiation permeates the environment, extending far beyond the transmission and reception points. Constant radiation emission from the beacon, additional radiation emissions with a different modulation scheme on data transfer – check. As an important aside, high-definition (“HD”) data multiplies these emissions dramatically since HD content, like 4K video, requires significantly more bandwidth and frequent packet transfers. For example, a 360p video requires around 0.5 Mbps (megabits per second), while a 4K video can demand up to 25 Mbps or more – that’s a 50-fold increase. This increased data throughput results in much more frequent and sustained bursts of RF radiation, significantly increasing emissions during streaming or high-definition activities. If you’re still using wireless you may want to turn down the video or audio resolution as an immediate method of reducing exposure. About that Woodpecker Here’s the official story on the Duga radar, what Americans nicknamed the “Russian Woodpecker.” In Russian, the word “Duga” means “arc” or “curve” but in the electrical sense, it specifically refers to an electrical arc, describing the curved path of an electrical discharge between two points. The Duga project, we are told, was a ‘Soviet over-the-horizon radar system’ used during the Cold War that operated on a broad range of frequencies, emitting RF radiation in a pulsed manner. When demodulated on a shortwave set (where I first heard the sound in the 1970s), it sounded like a repetitive tapping noise (10 Hz) that many could hear across the globe when tuning into active frequencies. The phenomenon was dubbed the “Russian Woodpecker” because of its sound. The effect of Duga was pulse-modulated RF radiation projected over a variety of frequencies, primarily aimed at North America The Duga radar system was massive, with its primary antenna stretching over 700 meters long and 150 meters high. It operated at incredible power levels, arguably up to 10 megawatts. The primary Duga antenna near Chornobyl (pictured above) stopped broadcasting in 1986, the same year as the Chornobyl nuclear disaster. Some years later, the modern plague of Wi-Fi began to spread. First, hundreds, then thousands and then millions of smaller sources of 10Hz pulse-modulated RF radiation traded for the single source from the big antenna. Wi-Fi – More RF than the Woodpecker But here’s the thing: The inverse square law, which tells us that radiation intensity decreases rapidly with distance, offers no comfort here. While Duga’s powerful signal diminished over long distances, the countless Wi-Fi routers and devices are right in our homes, workplaces, and public spaces – mere feet or inches from our bodies. Each router’s radiation may be lower in power than Duga, but it’s much closer, meaning that exposure levels are much higher. Instead of one distant, massive source, we now face an omnipresent web of close-range, pulse-modulated RF radiation. IoT is Madness The madness of the Internet of Things (“IoT”) will multiply this exposure exponentially. With every new “smart” device, from refrigerators to light bulbs to security cameras, we introduce yet another source of 10Hz pulse-modulated RF radiation into our environments. These devices, constantly connected and communicating, add to the already overwhelming burden of Wi-Fi, saturating our living spaces with radiation that is difficult to avoid. Unlike the days of Duga, where one could move far enough away to escape its reach, the IoT creates a situation where escape becomes difficult. Each device may emit at lower power, but the sheer number of sources, combined with their proximity, ensures the exposure is constant and cumulative. Potential Cognitive Effects of 10Hz ELF Exposure So, what’s the fascination with a 10Hz signal embedded within the stream of RF radiation? Entrainment – the reality of a frequency-following effect. The human brain operates within a range of frequencies, with different brainwave states corresponding to specific activities. The average state varies depending on what we’re doing, but its default state is governed by the Schumann resonance, a natural frequency of around 7.83 Hz that the Earth’s electromagnetic field generates. However, the brain can shift toward that frequency in the presence of a persistent 10Hz signal. This process of entrainment means that the brain, instead of maintaining its natural rhythm, follows the external signal. Over time, this can lead to a potentially significant disruption in brain function, as the constant exposure to Wi-Fi’s 10Hz pulses pushes the brain into an unnatural rhythm, overriding its connection to the Earth’s natural frequency. The brain is your only source of reference for reality. If the brain itself is being altered, your perception of what’s happening is also altered. It’s like trying to judge the stability of a ship while standing on it in rough seas – your perspective is skewed. This entrainment effect, over time, could create a state where you’re more easily influenced – a “suggestible state.” In this state, the brain is more receptive to external input, whether it’s media, marketing or even subconscious influences. With Wi-Fi and other sources of 10Hz modulation becoming increasingly pervasive, these signals may be subtly altering how we think and respond without us even realising it. We’re talking about the possibility of mind control, not in the Hollywood sense, but in creating an internal state different from the natural state of consciousness in which we’re involuntarily shifted from our natural connection to the Earth toward an unnatural, more suggestible rhythm. This shift, brought about by constant exposure to the 10Hz Wi-Fi beacon modulation, subtly alters our brain’s natural rhythms. Instead of being attuned to the Schumann resonance, we’re pulled into synchronisation with a synthetic rhythm – a state of consciousness that feels normal but is actually disconnected from our natural state. In this altered state, our thoughts, emotions, and perceptions may be more easily influenced by the artificial environment around us as we become entrained to its frequencies. This phenomenon may explain why electromagnetic poisoning victims (electromagnetic hypersensitivity or EHS victims) get stuck in a chronic state of dysautonomia. Dysautonomia, an autonomic nervous system dysfunction, often involves an imbalance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic branches – commonly called the “fight or flight” and “rest and digest” responses. Palestinian officials say the continuous bombing “has caused the destruction of vast areas of agricultural land and contaminated soil with toxic chemicals, which will hinder agriculture in the enclave for decades.” Furthermore, the officials say Israeli attacks have caused significant damage to Gaza’s water sources, “causing polluted water to seep into groundwater basins, [posing] a health and environmental crisis that endangers hundreds of thousands of residents for future generations.” Earlier this year, the UN warned that removing tens of millions of tons of rubble left in the aftermath of Israel’s bombardment could take 15 years and cost between $500-600 million. A temporary five-year provision was also passed, enabling the imprisonment of minors under 14 years of age who are convicted of homicide as part of a terror act. It was proposed by Likud lawmaker Hanoch Milwidsky, and states that family members may be deported by the Interior Minister to to Gaza “or another destination determined by the circumstances” if it is found that they “knew in advance of the [so-called] terrorist’s plan and did not take necessary measures to prevent it.” The interior minister would also have the authority to deport a relative who “expressed support or sympathy for the act of [so-called] terrorism or published praise, admiration, or encouragement.” A decision on the deportation will be made after a hearing. The law, which was fast-tracked, is considered extreme, and the Attorney General’s office did not issue an opinion on it after a representative claimed that despite the Attorney General’s request, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s position on the matter was not submitted. The law applies to the immediate family of [so-called] terrorists: parents, siblings, children, and spouses. Israeli citizens who meet the criteria will be deported for at least seven years and up to 15 years. Non-citizen deportees will face a minimum of 10 years and up to 20 years. Additionally, the police will have the authority to enforce deportations, “including the power to enter any premises, remove individuals, and use reasonable force.” NOTE: The use of the word “terrorist” for a group that resists occupation and oppression is a political, not fact-based choice. In reality, international law supports the efforts of resistance groups against an occupying power, the UN extending that right to the point of armed resistance. Hamas has clearly and openly stated that its enemy is not the Jewish people, but the supremacist ideology of Zionism – the ideology under which Israel dispossessed 750,000 Palestinian people and exiled them to Gaza and other locations. Under a new law, Israel ended a 1967 cooperation agreement with UNRWA that covered the protection, movement and diplomatic immunity of the Agency. The law will also ban UNRWA’s operations in Israel from late January. UNRWA has said that its operations in Gaza and the West Bank are now at risk of collapse. “I would note, as a general point, that it is not our responsibility to replace UNRWA, nor do we have the capacity to do so,” UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres’ chef de cabinet, Courtenay Rattray, wrote to a senior Israeli foreign affairs official late on Tuesday. The mention of responsibility is a veiled reference to Israel’s obligations as an occupying power. The UN views Gaza and the West Bank as Israeli-occupied territory. International humanitarian law requires an occupying power to agree to relief programs for people in need and to facilitate them “by all the means at its disposal” and ensure food, medical care, hygiene and public health standards. The occupation soldiers handcuffed and blindfolded me before taking me to a military base nearby, where they sat me on the cold ground. One of the soldiers threatened me, saying I should prepare to meet God; he mocked and humiliated me and told me I should leave Palestine and go to Italy. All the while I remained silent. A few moments later, another soldier called me a dog and spat on me. After about two hours of sitting in the military base, the soldiers brought dogs that barked loudly as they moved closer and closer to me; I increasingly feared that they would bite me. One of the soldiers shouted at me from a few centimeters away, twice asking me why I had filmed the raid on my house. The soldiers continued to harass and humiliate me. Still barking, the dogs drew so close that I could feel them on my legs, while the soldiers kept screaming, clearly enjoying themselves. I tried to protect myself, kicking at the dogs to try and stun them, but my attempts failed. At that moment, I was so terrified that I could feel my whole body shaking, until the soldiers and their dogs abruptly left. About 20 minutes later, the soldiers brought the dogs back, and the whole terrifying scene repeated itself. The barking dogs were aggressively jumping and trying to bite me. I shouted at the soldiers to take them away, and I desperately kicked my legs at them again. After what seemed like an eternity, the soldiers finally took the dogs away, and threatened me not to film the army again. I was still shaking. After about four hours of this harassment and humiliation, the soldiers put me in a car and drove, before throwing me out of the car about 10 kilometers from my home. It was only after they drove away that I was able to remove the blindfold and call my family to pick me up. I thanked God I still had my phone. An unfair trial This is not the first time I have been arrested, humiliated, and tortured by the Israeli army. In fact, this latest incident is one part of an ongoing and targeted campaign of harassment against me, which began over three years ago, and against my community for decades. In early January 2021, I, along with 200 other Israeli, Palestinian, and international activists, participated in a demonstration in the neighboring village of Al-Rakeez after the Israeli army shot and paralyzed my friend and fellow activist, Harun Abu Aram, when he refused to let them confiscate his electricity generator. The next day, the army stormed my house at 2 a.m. and arrested me on charges of disturbing the peace, assaulting an Israeli soldier, and violating a closed military zone. I was released a few days later on bail of NIS 10,000 (about $3,000) under the condition that I appear at the Hebron police station — located in the illegal Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba — on Fridays between the hours of 8 a.m-3:00 p.m.. Neither the day nor the hour were random. In fact, it is on this day of the week and between these hours that most demonstrations in the West Bank against Israel’s theft of Palestinian land, the military occupation, and creeping annexation take place. For good measure, I was also formally prohibited from joining any more protests. More than two years later, in August 2023, I was convicted by the Ofer military court on two counts: “assault of a soldier” and “obstructing a soldier during duty.” These charges could lead to a sentence of up to 12 years. The prosecution did not provide any physical or video evidence to the court that I had acted violently; they based their case exclusively on oral testimony from Israeli security forces. Meanwhile, video evidence from the demonstration, along with statements of multiple witnesses, many of whom were Israeli, testified to my innocence. My lawyer at the time, Gaby Lasky, was denied participation in the interrogation process, and the trial was conducted entirely in Hebrew with no interpretation. Two days before my latest arrest, I showed up to my sentencing hearing, only for it to be postponed. My current lawyer, Reham Nassra, and I have not received any information about when it might take place. It could take months, years even. Reham predicts that it is more likely that I will receive a suspended sentence than serve time in jail. This outcome would also be far from ideal. If I am convicted of the same charge again during my probationary period, I will go to prison. Making an example of activists Even before this legal persecution began, it was clear that the Israeli army uses these tactics — arbitrary arrests, beatings, perpetually delayed legal proceedings, and long jail sentences — to make an example of human rights activists, to discourage and frighten Palestinians from exercising their basic right to protest the occupation and theft of their land. It is something my family members have dealt with for generations. Ever since the Israeli military built the illegal settlement of Ma’on in 1981, within shouting distance of our land in At-Tuwani, my grandmother, Fatima, and my father, Hafez, were frequently subjected to army and settler violence alike. My grandmother was regularly assaulted by settlers while grazing her sheep. My father, a prominent resistance activist in the South Hebron Hills, experienced persistent beatings, arrests, and nighttime raids at the hands of the army. Each time I am arrested, I am subjected to different methods and tactics of harassment, assault, and torture. When I was arrested on Aug. 31, I was brutally humiliated by two soldiers who are also local settlers; they put a plastic bag over my head and covered my nose and eyes with black tape. The occupation — declared illegal by the International Court of Justice — allows Israeli soldiers and settlers to act with complete impunity. We have seen this on countless occasions where Palestinians have been brutally murdered with no consequences. We have even witnessed Palestinian-Americans and internationals being killed with no accountability, and although the United States condemned such acts and promised thorough investigations, nothing has come of them. The world remains paralyzed in the face of genocide, murder, and annexation.
