But what struck me the hardest was the real definition of Fascism. I kept using that word to refer to National Socialist and i was so mistaken. So, here is what i learned on Tik-history on the video named fascism defined. Below are the major points i got out of it. These are things i didn't know and i am sure will help many of us understand the real definition of Fascim as understood by its creators and coined by Benito Mussolini.

    1. Mussolini initally was not racist towards Jewish people as Hitler was. Mussolini's Mistress Margehrita Sarfatti was Jewish. She was his mistress from 1911 to 1938. Source: Farrell, "Mussolini: A new life" chapter 11.

    2. Margherita Sarfatti was Jewish, a Feminist and a member of the Fascist party of Italy. More than 10k Jews were in fact members of the Fascist party of Italy.

    3. The Question is. If Fascism is a synonym of National Socialism. Why was Mussolini not racist towards Jewish people nor did he murder his own people? Why did the Fascist party not condemn feminist ideas if fascism is a synonym of National Socialism?

    4. Mussolini's Government did not have Anti Jewish laws. Mussolini had to create Anti Jewish Laws after Hitler's influence to please him in 1938. Prior to that there were no such laws. Mussolini wouldn't have to create anti-jewish laws if fascism was a race based Socialism like Nazi Germany.

    5. Definition of Fascism: You can properly call a Trade Union a Syndicate. Syndicalism means Trade Unionism. A Trade Union is a group of workers or a bundle of workers. In the Italian language a bundle of sticks is a fascio and Italian Trade Unions = Fasci. Hence, the term Fascism. Which means Trade Unionism.

    1. Lets start with Alexander the 1st of Russia who decreed a Geographic area for Jewish Habitation called the pale settlement in 1804. Tsar Nicholas the 1st further recalibrated such boundaries by 1835 putting further limitation on the Jewish people even within the Pale Settlements.

    2. So, as we can see. Jews were an oppressed Class in Russia from the years 1804 to 1835. Jewish youth suffered discriminatory military conscription laws at a disproportionately higher rate than other racial groups.

    3. Tsar Alexander the 2nd reversed the conscription laws in the 1850's . However, local systemic persecution of the Jewish people continued under the progroms.

    4. After Alexander the 2nd's assasination in 1881, Alexander the 3rd who succeded him reversed laws by enacting the May laws in 1882. These May Laws further restricted Jews to living in the Pale Settlements and did not allow Jews to live outside of larger cities and towns, to own or manage real estate, and it also prohibited them from leasing land and operating their businesses on Sunday or other Christian Holidays.

    5. No Jewish properties in rural areas even within the pale.

    6. Educational restrictions year (1887)

    7. From the 1880's Jews were classified as Aliens.

    8. Jews were barred from practicing law and medicine.

    9. Jews were barred from voting in zemstvo and municipal elections.

    10. With Nicholas the 2nd as the New Tsar from 1868 to 1918. More restrictions on freedoms were added, such as the city government counter reform of 1897 in the progrom of Kishinev.

    11. Jews were led to seek emancipation through participation in various political parties like the Social Democratic Party of 1898 to 1912 which had split into the Bolsheviks, Menchaviks and the Jewish bund party in 1903. It must be emphasized that the Jewish bund party of (Socialists) did not get along with the Bolsheviks.

    12. A revolution initiated in 1905. The result? More progroms like in Odessa and the deaths of over 100 Jews in minsk central square station.

    13. A Parliament was created because of the amount of revolutionist. The Russian Parliment was becimeral meaning it was divided in two parts: The State Duma, and the Upper house. This Parliament did nothing as the Tsar had the power to veto legislation which is precisely what he did.

    14. By the third Duma (1907-1912) the peasants were deprived of their franchise and the electoral rights of their landed gentry. This led to a loyal Duma. Source: Russia A History. With the Tsars opposition growing in the first two state Dumas. The Government's response was to desolve them against the constitution, and changing the electoral system in order to produce a more compliant assembly. This is the context in which we can see the autocratic rule that served as an incentive for the Jewish political orientation towards more radical political parties. 

    16 The way to demonstrate the Jews motivation in leaning towards more radical parties such as the Bolsheviks for example, the Pale Settlements need to be scrutinized.

    17. Participation in the Bolsheviks party was extended to other ethnic minorites like the Latvians. 80% of the Russian population were of the peasantry class which were excluded from maintaining essential roles in the Bolsheviks party's program.

    18. The Socialist Revolutionaries were another leftist group that was able to amass the majority of the votes in the 1917 elections at the constituent assembly.
