  • JUST A MINUTE, PLEASE!
    [THE PREACHER'S CORNER]

    SOME FUNDAMENTAL LIES WE ARE MADE TO BELIEVE ABOUT ETERNITY!

    I had to revisit this issue again and again, in as much as I try my best to avoid the dirty "politics" played with it, by people who should be the custodians of God's Word;
    7. For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
    8. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
    9. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. (Mal 2: 7-9)

    It even became more important to invade this all important subject again,when to my utmost chagrin and consternation,I discovered that even most(if not all) OSAS...once saved, always saved pastors don't even believe hell exists anywhere.
    *THIS ISN'T JUST ABOUT THE PASTORS THAT PREACH THIS ALONE,BUT THE VAST CONGREGATIONS THEY'RE LEADING ASTRAY!*

    If there's one thing that the devil has been unable to use the so-called *SCIENCE* to do is to explain the afterlife... ETERNITY!

    The pitiable part of it is that the devil knows,but doesn't want you and I to know. And many(very many) are believing him to their own damnation and tying up their fate to his!

    Have you asked why SCIENCE can’t locate it. Books try to explain it but fail. Movies try to show it but fail. *GOD IS NO MAN'S PUPPET...HE IS THE SOVEREIGN GOD...EVEN THE DEVIL DREADS HIM...he takes permission from HIM before carrying out every act. I think we should let that sink in.

    Yet everybody wants to know about the afterlife...Is grandma in heaven? Am I going to hell? What if nothing happens when we die,etc?

    Everybody wrestles with questions about the afterlife. Sooner or later, it touches our own lives or someone we know. *HOWEVER, I WILL SAY THIS...WE WILL GET THERE WHEN WE GET THERE!*

    Since there is so much confusion, it can be easy to believe what’s popular or feels good. But what’s convenient should never become more important than what’s true.

    Some of the common misconceptions about life after death and the truth that God wants us to understand about it are;

    THERE'S NO HEAVEN OR HELL....THIS IS A BLATANT LIE!

    This view says that after our physical bodies die, that’s it. Nothing else. Humans don’t have souls that live on after we die. Or if we do have souls, they will be destroyed rather than existing in eternity.

    But the Truth is, both Heaven and hell do certainly exist.
    Everyone spends eternity in one of these places. Christ Jesus spoke about heaven, hell and eternity many times;
    13. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
    16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life...read from the verse 13 - 19(Joh 3: 13-19)

    The Bible describes and emphasizes on hell as a place where those who reject Christ Jesus will endure eternal suffering and separation from God.
    Heaven is a place where Christ Jesus followers live forever with God. In heaven, everything that’s wrong with this world is set right. There are no tears, pain or death. Following Christ Jesus is the only way to experience heaven (John 14:6).

    GOOD PEOPLE GO TO HEAVEN, BAD PEOPLE GO TO HELL... ANOTHER WELL CONCEIVED LIE.

    This view says people get what they deserve. Where you spend eternity depends on how good of a person you are in life. This leaves people hopeless if they’ve lived a messy life, and it leaves well-behaved people prideful about their accomplishments.

    But the ever and all time certain Truth is that, bad people go to heaven, bad people go to hell.
    If where we spent eternity depended on the actions in our lives, none of us would go to heaven and all of us would go to hell;
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Rom 3: 23)

    Our eternal status does not depend on anything other than our relationship with Christ Jesus.
    God’s Grace is big enough for everyone. Everyone’s guilty of rebelling against what God says;
    1. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
    2. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
    3. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psalm 14:1-3).

    Because we all sin, we’re all headed toward hell. But it’s only because of Christ Jesus that anyone’s life is changed and saved.

    THERE'S A HEAVEN BUT NO HELL...I THINK THIS IS THE WORST DECEPTION...GIVING TO MAN WHAT HE *WANTS* TO HEAR AND NOT WHAT HE *NEEDS* TO HEAR;
    3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their OWN LUSTS shall they HEAP to THEMSELVES TEACHERS, HAVING ITCHING EARS;
    4. And they shall TURN away their EARS from the TRUTH, and shall be TURNED UNTO FABLES. (2Ti 4: 3-4)

    This view, sometimes called universalism, teaches that everyone goes to heaven regardless of what they decide about Christ Jesus. It takes God out of the picture and replaces Him with a general sense of happiness. They say God will be a monster to send people He claims to Love to an eternity of hell fire.

    Again and again, the Biblically undisputed Truth is that Hell exists, and God doesn’t want anyone to go there. Christ Jesus, while on earth PREACHED ABOUT THE REALITY OF HELL more than anything else. Why would He gamble with something like that if it isn't real... except of course,we are calling HIM A SHAM!

    I want to ask those custodians of God's Word who insist on grace alone(Grace without works is dead), did you really hear from God at all?
    I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THE DEVIL IS A VENTROQUOLIST!

    If those whom you loved died unsaved and couldn't pass through the narrow gate, God will widen the gate to accommodate them.
    It makes sense, and the devil wants it to make sense to you. The devil is a snake. He remains the craftily clever serpent. On earth, every good has a reward, and every evil has a reward...why do you think God's Own would be different? Just as the world has its terms and conditions,GOD ALSO HAS HIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS!

    WHY DO OUR COURTS SENTENCE CRIMINALS TO VARIOUS JAIL TERMS, DEPENDING ON THE OFFENCE...SOME TO SUFFER AND BE DENIED FREEDOM UNTIL DEATH,AND OTHERS STRAIGHT TO DEATH?

    Conversely, let's read this;
    9. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
    10. Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
    11. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (Mat 7: 9-11)

    APPLIED TO OUR SUBJECT, IF MAN CAN SEVERELY PUNISH FELLOW MAN FOR CRIMES, HOW MUCH MORE GOD WHO HAS THE SOLE PREROGATIVE OVER MAN'S BODY,SOUL AND SPIRIT?

    Vut, God’s love is far bigger than a sense of happiness. His love is so big He wants all people to be saved from their sins and know Him (1 Timothy 2:3-4).

    Sin hurts us and others. GOD WOULD NOT BE GOOD IF HE ALLOWED US TO HURT OURSELVES BY SINNING WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES.

    It would be like a young child who kept touching the hot stove while the parent did nothing to protect the child from her self-destructive behavior. God is not OK with us hurting ourselves or others. Because God is a good father, He made a way to stop the cycle of sin once and for all.

    Touching a hot pot leads to burned fingers. The consequence of sin is death. When Christ Jesus died on the Cross, He took the penalty for all of our sin...past, present, and future. Because Christ Jesus paid for our sins, we have the opportunity to enjoy a relationship with God now and for eternity.

    Romans 10:9 says we just have to believe...and we can't BELIEVE WITHOUT OBEDIENCE!

    Don’t let the afterlife become an afterthought. Saying “yes” to Christ Jesus means spending both now and eternity with Him.
    May the Holy Spirit bless us with the spirit of discernment to realize and runaway from the * "demons" of satan that transformed into angels of light,*with the purpose of leading us astray(2Cor. 11:13-15)
    Amen!

  • Unlocking the Power of Microlearning: A Clear and Simple Guide from MaxLearn
    In today's fast-paced corporate world, information overload is rampant, and attention spans are shorter than ever. Traditional lengthy training programs often fall flat, failing to engage learners or ensure long-term knowledge retention. The solution lies in microlearning, a clear and simple approach that is revolutionizing how organizations, from Finance to Healthcare, empower their workforces. MaxLearn is your essential guide to understanding and leveraging this powerful methodology.

    What Exactly is Microlearning? A Simple Definition
    At its core, microlearning is about delivering learning content in small, focused bursts. Think of it as breaking down a large, complex meal into a series of nutritious, easy-to-digest snacks. Each microlearning snippet or Microlearning Course typically focuses on a single concept or objective, designed to be consumed in a few minutes (often 1-15 minutes). This brevity makes learning fit seamlessly into busy schedules, whether during a coffee break, between meetings, or on the go.
    The Fundamental Principles That Make Microlearning Powerful
    MaxLearn's success in unlocking microlearning's power stems from adhering to a few key principles:

  • New to Microlearning? Avoid These Mistakes with Our Pro Tips for a Strong Start with MaxLearn
    Embracing microlearning can be a game-changer for corporate training, promising increased engagement and better knowledge retention. However, like any powerful tool, its effectiveness hinges on proper implementation. For those new to this agile approach, pitfalls abound. MaxLearn, a leading Microlearning Platform, offers crucial "Pro Tips" to help you navigate your first steps and avoid common mistakes, ensuring your journey to a more efficient and impactful learning culture is successful from the outset.

    Common Microlearning Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
    Mistake 1: Confusing "Short" with "Meaningless"
    A common misconception is that because microlearning snippets are short, they lack depth. This couldn't be further from the truth. Each snippet, whether a microlearning course or an interactive quiz, must have a clear, singular learning objective. Avoid simply cutting down a 30-minute video into 5-minute segments if each segment doesn't teach a complete, actionable concept.

    Pro Tip: Focus on "one concept, one snippet." Before creating, ask: "What single, clear takeaway should the learner have from this 2-minute module?"

    Industry Example (Healthcare): Instead of "Hospital Safety," create "How to properly disinfect patient rooms (Method A)."

    Tools Connection: Utilize your Microlearning Authoring Tools to ensure each module is concise and purposeful, even with rich media.

    Mistake 2: Neglecting Context and Just-in-Time Needs
    Microlearning thrives on relevance. A big mistake is to create content in isolation, without considering when and where an employee will need that information. If a learner can't access it at their moment of need, its impact diminishes significantly.

    Pro Tip: Map content to specific workflows and pain points. Ensure your Microlearning Platform supports easy search and mobile access.

    Industry Example (Retail): A new product feature guide should be accessible on a sales associate's tablet while they are talking to a customer.

    Tools Connection: The Microlearning Application must be intuitive and seamlessly integrated into daily work through a robust Microlearning Platform.

    Mistake 3: Overlooking Learner Engagement and Interactivity
    Simply shortening content won't guarantee engagement. A static PDF broken into 3 slides is still a static PDF. Microlearning should leverage diverse, engaging formats and encourage active participation.

    Pro Tip: Incorporate quizzes, simulations, drag-and-drop exercises, short videos, and gamified elements.

    Industry Example (Finance/Banking): For compliance training, use interactive scenarios where learners identify suspicious transactions, rather than just reading guidelines.

    Tools Connection: An AI-powered Authoring Tool can help you quickly generate interactive content, and an AI-Powered Learning Platform can personalize the engagement based on learner behavior.

    Mistake 4: Failing to Reinforce Knowledge Over Time
    The "forgetting curve" is a powerful force. A single exposure to a Microlearning Courses, no matter how good, won't guarantee long-term retention. A common mistake is to treat microlearning as a one-off event.

    Pro Tip: Implement spaced repetition. Schedule short, follow-up quizzes or reminders at strategic intervals (e.g., 1 day, 1 week, 1 month later).

    Industry Example (Pharma): After a module on a new drug's side effects, send a quick multiple-choice question to sales reps a few days later.

    Tools Connection: A sophisticated Microlearning LMS working with your Microlearning Software can automate this spaced reinforcement, often powered by AI to optimize timing.

    Mistake 5: Neglecting Measurement and Iteration
    Rolling out microlearning without a plan to measure its effectiveness is a wasted effort. A common mistake is assuming that just because content is short, it's working.

    Pro Tip: Define clear metrics (completion rates, quiz scores, behavior change) and consistently analyze data from your Microlearning Platform. Use these insights to refine existing content and plan future microlearning courses.

    Industry Example (Mining/Oil & Gas): Track how often safety microlearning snippets are accessed before specific tasks and correlate that with incident rates.

    Tools Connection: The analytics dashboards within your Microlearning LMS and AI-Powered Learning Platform are crucial for this continuous improvement cycle.

    By being mindful of these common pitfalls and applying MaxLearn's professional tips, organizations across Finance, Retail, Banking, Mining, Healthcare, Oil and Gas, Pharma, and Insurance can successfully implement microlearning, transforming their training into an agile, engaging, and genuinely effective engine for growth and compliance.

    New to Microlearning? Avoid These Mistakes with Our Pro Tips for a Strong Start with MaxLearn Embracing microlearning can be a game-changer for corporate training, promising increased engagement and better knowledge retention. Common Microlearning Mistakes and How to Avoid Them Mistake 1: Confusing "Short" with "Meaningless" A common misconception is that because microlearning snippets are short, they lack depth. This couldn't be further from the truth. Each snippet, whether a microlearning course or an interactive quiz, must have a clear, singular learning objective. Avoid simply cutting down a 30-minute video into 5-minute segments if each segment doesn't teach a complete, actionable concept. Pro Tip: Focus on "one concept, one snippet." Before creating, ask: "What single, clear takeaway should the learner have from this 2-minute module?" Industry Example (Healthcare): Instead of "Hospital Safety," create "How to properly disinfect patient rooms (Method A)." Tools Connection: Utilize your Microlearning Authoring Tools to ensure each module is concise and purposeful, even with rich media. Mistake 2: Neglecting Context and Just-in-Time Needs Microlearning thrives on relevance. Mistake 3: Overlooking Learner Engagement and Interactivity Simply shortening content won't guarantee engagement. A static PDF broken into 3 slides is still a static PDF.
