• Why do you guys continue to use a proven to fail tactic? If you broke a blockchain with under 50k users with only a small fraction active, you don't know what you're doing. The Influencer part is where you are really lost, though.

What you guys (SoMee) really need is an onsite "Community" Manager who makes all your announcements through posting on an official account on the platform, keeps us updated on the topics announced over time, is a hype person and runs contests/challenges on behalf of and on the platform itself. We need some life injected into SoMee and that won't be done by simply getting Influencers to sign up. A Community anything is about building community and that's not what Dallyboy is doing. Oh and, you need to support those contributing, not spammers, but instead you support more spammers than content creators. A losing strategy!!!

We need Influencers to be exclusive (That's unlikely to happen) and we need to find unique and interesting ways to not only keep their followers when they come, but encourage them to be active and add content not found anywhere else. We need to create a fun atmosphere where people want to be here and contribute positively, especially at first. On top of that, you need to be supporting the users who are trying to do this themselves. CryptoCouple_JED is a good example, but you've given their attempts zero support.

That's concerning and will bite you in the ass. IS BITING YOU IN THE ASS! Those who you consider employees should be setting a good example by posting relevant quality content as well, but that's not happening either. [Bejodomen] is an example of who's setting a bad precedent. He doesn't interact, isn't posting quality content, shows no interest in building a SoMee Community and it shows in his low follower count. The followers he does have are just after his vote and could care less about him or his content. If he doesn't care, that says volumes.

Currently, the #SoMeeKrakens are raping and pillaging, but adding zero value at any level. AND... when the Official account's #Hive reputation is near zero, your claims of having the support of Hive is bullshit!

This time we are doing something different and I'm announcing the answer(it's in the image)myself and the winners will be announced through the #SoMeeFeudJedition Page.

That's all the more reason to stop by their page and give it a like, so you can see their new Polls and possibly win up to 25,000 #SME. There's nothing to lose and plenty to gain.

  • Where did all the quality and semi-quality content creators go and why's the SME market bottoming out. I'm all in, but when are you guys going to start to use the gamification of the platform to help liven things up a bit, christopherkramer.10 and Dallyboy. The dip started weeks ago and it's still dropping. I'm having trouble using all my votes at 100%. We need a pickup!

  • Lately I'm noticing that Follower counts are growing and at times, traffic is even at all-time highs, but interaction is dwindling. Part of the reason could be that new users aren't finding the resources they need to monetize their accounts. It's not the only reason though.

First and foremost, the easiest place to find the necessary information to succeed on and use SoMee can be found on the #AwesmeTutorials (link below) Page. This page is a collaboration between multiple SoMeeans to document what they learn about this new platform and pass it on to you.

It not only provides information to newbies, but has some very useful information for long time SoMee members as well. Everyone should give this Page a like, so they see the posts in their Home Feed.

Another reason is that we aren't interacting enough collectively. If we don't come together as a community, then SoMee's success will not only take longer, but it's more likely that those who are just here to game the system will become the most prolific.

We need to come together and interact, support the efforts of members trying to make this happen, like CryptoCouple_JED, AwesmeFacts along with myself and direct new users to places where they can get the information they need.

The success of SoMee is bigger than just [christospherkramer.10] and the Development Team. It requires all of us to step up and put our best foot forward. If we want to succeed, we need to help others succeed.

Part of that will be to join the #HelloSoMee group with the intention to support the new users when they take the time to let us know what they bring to the table. The community is forever growing and making sure these new users are a part of that from the moment they join will benefit us all in the long run.

Sincere generosity tends to come back ten-fold, so it's in all of our best interests to step up and reach out.

  • When you are blessed to live in both a simple small family and large extented family where you share the space with your elders who shower you with blessings and words of wisdom. Each being said as an extension to their own experiences of life and for the want to see us prosper.

I have been extremely fortunate to have shared those moments with every relative of mine, both young and old and I can't thank God enough.

Mentioning the advice, encouragement and wise words made me revisit the memory lane but also brought about emotions as some of those wonderful people are no longer here today. However, implementing their guidance and praying for them keeps them alive in our hearts for years to come.

I love each of my family members and friends where they play a very important part in my life. These relationships hold high value and regard. Listing their words was extremely difficult because there's far to many, but let's view a few together and maybe you to will hold the same value as I.

Glad to be a participant in this contest as I can share the loving memories of those we've left behind and those who continue to bestow their wisdom and best wishes. May God bless them all and I love each of you

"Your only limitation is the one you set up in your own mind!”

I first heard this #quote from the Season 1 Alone winner #AlanKay. Upon a bit of research it's attributed to a man named Napolean Hill. I myself have always viewed limits as self inflicted. I've acquired all the many skills I possess, because if I can take it apart, I can probably put it back together and maybe even better.

Every day of my life I put these words of wisdom into practice and wish that all of humanity would do so as well. Fear is the beginning all the limits we set and every limit makes us more dependent or restrictive in our lives. I never want to lose my independence, nor do I want to live a restricted life.

Napolean Hill has been called a failure and a conman, but he never quit trying and neither will I!

    #Awesme

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you” (Exodus 20:12)

This was one of the teachings that I was taught of when I was young whenever we attend bible studies. My mom and dad never fail to remind us as well that "how we treated our parents will be the same way we will be treated by our children when we have our own family.

Time flies and my parents are more frail now, but I will always remember the way they love, nurture and at the same time let us go to grow. I will always look up to them. I hope to be atleast half of how my parents are to me to Dylan

  • Advice for an employee

The advice I got from my first boss, small businessmen: "In the job, as in life, you mostly have to rely on yourself. Straighten up, raise your head,
Don't bend the spine in front of the pressures of others, be proud and always keeps your back (ass), against the wall ".
That advice helped me much during work life, to build integrity and relationships with colleagues and my superior.

The best advice or tip I have used in my life myself and taught my kids was one I believe I coined myself. It's, "Being an adult isn't about doing the tough things that you like or are good at, but doing what needs to be done, simply because it needs to be done." I guess other more well known or common uses would be to tell someone to "man-up" or as they say in the Southern U.S., "Cowboy/girl-up."

The multi-skilled adult or even child in many cases from before the tech boom is becoming extinct. We used to do most everything we needed done ourselves, but as the consumer society becomes more ingrained, we tend to delegate many of the simple basics out to others. The average person I meet these days don't even know how to give their vehicles an oil change. It's a 20 minute job with little to no real skill needed, yet most will gladly pay someone else to do it. I find this to be disturbing.

Basic skills are necessary for independence and freedom, yet so many prefer to rely on others. The kids today are even worse and it's only going to worsen. When you embrace the responsibility that you need to do it, regardless of whether you like the chore or not, you build character, responsibility, maturity, independence and more skills to increase that your worth. It's the attitude within in me, which resulted in this advice that I believe we need to preserve and teach to our kids. It also creates a defined line in the sand between adolescence and adulthood.

It's obvious to many that age has little to do with defining one with the characteristics of being an adult. As a matter of fact, many adults would be not be considered as such when held to this standard. I think this is important, so that not only do our children learn the importance of hard work, but have a good gauge of what truly makes a good role model.

Do it because it needs to be done, whether or not it's hard or that you are good at it.

    Please join to add some character to the feed. I look forward to see what advice makes each and every one of tic, because they all equally important. For more details check out this post;

  • The #HelloSoMee group is slowly growing and some pretty large stakes have joined. I appreciate those of you who have shown your commitment to help #SoMee grow by supporting #NewUsers as they join the site and introduce themselves. My plan is to open up the group to #Introductions and hosting a #HelloSoMeeBannerDesignContest when we have 100 members.

As we get close to that number, I'll start posting some ideas for how to point new users towards the group, the best way to acknowledge them and ways to support them beyond the group. Thank you wieger for your efforts towards the same goal through the hashtag you've created. I'll be promoting the use of that as well.

Please join the group with the intention of supporting new users as you see them in your Home Feed to help improve #UserRetention and help to build the #SoMeeCommunity. We need active users, not just new accounts.

  • My entry for the Awesme Tutorials Contest

The best advice I ever received was given to me in two forms by two different cultures. The Westernized version is, "Practice makes perfect" and the Eastern version is, "repetition is the pathway to perfection." The latter was drilled into me by my #Hapkido instructor and the same goes for anyone who has taken #Karate. That's literally why they use #katas.

Growing up you hear the former all the time. As kids, who are just learning anything that's hard and seeing others being good at it, they tend to envy natural ability, rather than finding the motivation to get better at all costs. I not only went through this, but saw my daughter and her friends go through it as well. The excuse is usually, " I'm just not good at that..."

It was the latter that made me realize how difficult it is to translate a simple message into something our adolescents understand and take to heart. Only those with a competitive nature and a drive to win get it right away. It's those with little drive who won't get it until they are adults themselves, if at all.

The key to drive this point home as a parent or role model lays within the saying itself; Repetition, repetition, repetition... You just need to keep driving the message and finding the right words to help them understand that this piece of wisdom goes beyond sports and is relevant throughout every facet of life. It took me a while to understand this and we cannot allow the succeeding generations to dilute it's meaning.

Note- The image I used is a gif I made from an instructional video to teach myself #TaiChi. I broke it up into short pieces to make it easier to practice a piece at a time. I don't move to the next one until I have the preceding one down.I learned so much faster doing this.

  • My entry for the #Awesme Tutorials 'Best Advice You Were Ever Given' #Contest

One of the best pieces of advice I was given as a kid was, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names can never hurt me." I didn't realize the truth of this until I was much older, because those names certainly did seem to hurt. It was well after I matured before realizing that it was me who allowed those words to hurt me. The words themselves only have the power I give them.

After becoming an adult the strength of this saying only became stronger and stronger. This is because before graduating from High School, where you are forced to be around the same kids everyday, there seems to be no escape. As an adult I realized that not only could I chose to or not to work around people like that, but I could also chose who I wanted in my life. It was then that I decided being popular and fitting in wasn't in my best interest and that letting people go made me so much happier.

Words never hurt me again, because I realized the opinions of others don't matter and never did. It seems today that this powerful piece of advice has been corrupted and now society is filled with a new generation who thinks words are weapons and the decay of our society because of it is very noticeable.
