  • Group urges US court to drop ‘unjust’ charges against pro-Gaza protesters
    Friday, 06 September 2024 11:22 AM [ Last Update: Friday, 06 September 2024 11:22 AM ]

A group of protesters from the City University of New York (CUNY) Gaza Solidarity Encampment is demanding that the "unjust" heavy charges against eight of their members be dropped.

The 28 protesters, known as the CUNY 28, made the call in a statement issued at their press conference outside Manhattan criminal court where eight of them pleaded not guilty to an array of charges on Thursday.

The 28 protesters were among those arrested during a raid by New York Police Department on the CUNY Gaza solidarity encampment on April 30.

“The CUNY 28, attempted to answer the call made by the steadfast Palestinian resistance to escalate from within the belly of the beast. We resist with Gaza,” the statement said.

“The night of the CUNY raid, ‘public safety’ brutalized protesters. CUNY ‘public safety’ are the pigs! The pigs are the IOF! Anyone that chooses to play the role of a pig is the enemy,” it added.

According to CUNY for Palestine, while the charges have been dropped for most of the hundreds of people arrested late in April, "Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, CUNY, and the NYPD continue to pursue the heaviest charges for 8 of the now CUNY 28.”

The eight are accused of allegedly causing millions of dollars worth of damages.

“We are fighting our charges, not only because we do not recognize the state’s claim to authority over our actions, but also because we believe that challenging these charges is a necessary stand against an unjust system that seeks to silence dissent and criminalize resistance. It is hypocritical of the state to criminalize property damage at a protest, while signing lucrative contracts to destroy entire communities,” the CUNY 28 said.

“As the Zionist entity continues its destruction of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank—and as the United States maintains its genocidal hegemony from Palestine to Harlem—the working-class people of the world escalate. An encampment should not normalize the institution—it should disrupt it, dismantle it and abolish it.”

The statement slammed CUNY administrations for remaining silent on Israel’s ongoing genocidal war on Gaza and “actively repressing and condemning” any support for the Palestinians.

“The occupation of buildings by students and outside agitators symbolizes reclaiming space and disrupting normal operations to draw attention to injustices and to force institutions to address the demands of protesters.”

The statement stressed “We are not just fighting for a Free Palestine but for the liberation of all. We fight for ourselves and our communities. Palestine is everywhere.”

“Remember, 'we are all outside agitators.' Whether we are fighting in Atlanta, New York City, Sudan, or Palestine, the enemy remains the same. The Zionist entity escalates, so does the Palestinian Resistance. The pigs and institutions escalate, so do the agitators of the world!”

The group stressed, “We will not be intimidated into silence by the state.”

Pro-Palestinian activists urge Canada to halt all arms sales to Israel
Pro-Palestinian activists have called on the Canadian government to adhere to its legal and humanitarian obligations and halt "all arms sales to Israel."
Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network has voiced its “full” solidarity with the CUNY 28, urging the authorities to drop the charges.

“Escalating to end a genocide is not a crime — indeed, it is a duty, particularly in the heart of the imperial core, at a moment when the resistance forces of the region, from Palestine to Yemen to Lebanon to Iraq and beyond, are on the front lines sacrificing and fighting for the protection and liberation of humanity.”

The Pro-Palestine demonstrations began at Columbia University in New York City on April 17 and spread across other campuses in the US in a student movement unlike any other this century.

The protesters, who demanded an end to the US-backed war, which has so far killed at least 40,878 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 94,454 others, were met with brutal police violence.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

Noting that “CUNY agitators spent more time in custody than Columbia protesters, and are still facing higher charges and continued backlash”, the CUNY 28 said, “The narrative of ‘good’ vs. ‘bad’ protester is a narrative pushed by the state to divide our efforts along class and racial contentions, but in reality the fight against the same enemy unites us.”

VT Condemns the ETHNIC CLEANSING OF PALESTINIANS by USA/Israel

Among the approximately 600,000 children displaced from their homes in the Gaza Strip (and now also from the West Bank after the new raids of attacks by the Israeli Army in violation of all international law as denounced by the UN) thousands of them have been ferociously injured by the consequences of the bombings that have also destroyed the hospitals where they could have been treated, and most of them are severely malnourished due to the criminal blockade of humanitarian aid imposed at the Rafah crossing by the Zionist regime of Benjamin Netanyahu (hit by an international arrest warrant for war crimes).

Infanticide Survivors must be Vaccinated but not Feeding

They are the survivors of the diabolical infanticide committed by Israel that has claimed well over 15,000 victims, now perhaps almost 20,000, leaving thousands orphaned by their parents or with amputated legs or arms.

In the midst of this satanic holocaust that makes Adolf Hitler look like an amateur, the main concern of the UN, increasingly a Non-Useful Organization, is not to impose a truce in any way to feed the children but to support Bill Gates’ global immunization project.

The children of Gaza can continue to die of hunger or booze but they will be able to do so by being vaccinated against polio, thus becoming guinea pigs for a project that will measure the impact of vaccinations on a population that is dying of malnutrition, as already happened in the war in Yemen where tens of thousands of children died of hunger.

“The United Nations has reached a provisional agreement with the parties to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for a humanitarian pause that would allow anti-polio vaccination in the Gaza Strip. This was told to journalists – reports Tass – by the representative of the WHO for the West Bank and Gaza, Richard Peeperkorn. “We have a preliminary commitment to specific humanitarian policies, during the vaccination campaign,” he said, “we call on all parties to suspend fighting to allow children and families to access health facilities safely.”

    Mainstream newspapers emphatically report.

Truce for POLIO Vaccines Begins After Only One Confirmed Case

“The much-vaunted polio vaccination campaign will begin on Sunday (September 1, 2024 – ed.) in Gaza. This was announced in a note from the Israeli government, followed shortly thereafter by a confirmation statement from Hamas. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has calibrated the words, commas, and spaces in the statement to avoid invoking a “truce” and a “humanitarian pause.” The operations, this is the only indication from his security cabinet, will take place in “certain locations” in the Strip “assigned” to health personnel,” writes the Italian bishops’ newspaper Avvenire.

It is the first time in months that Hamas and Israel have reached an agreement that smells of respite. The last one dates back to the week between November 24 and December 1, 2023, when the parties agreed to release 110 Israeli hostages in exchange for 240 Palestinian prisoners.

The turning point, now, is due to polio, which, completely eradicated in Western countries in the 1980s, was detected in Gaza’s wastewater as early as June.

Abdul Rahman, 11 months old, whose left leg was partially paralyzed by type 2 of the virus
“The first confirmed case in Gaza in 25 years concerns Abdul Rahman, 11 months old, whose left leg was partially paralyzed by type 2 of the virus. The photo showing him in a tent in the al-Mawasi refugee camp, asleep in his car seat with an older girl fanning fresh air on his face, has gone around the world. His mother, Niveen Abu al-Jidyan, said: “He had not been vaccinated because of our constant travel. When we left the North he was only one month old”» adds the article.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that the poor hygiene conditions of the camps, the heat and malnutrition are putting the lives of 640,000 unimmunized children under 10 at risk.

ITALY & VATICAN ACCOMPLICES OF GAZA GENOCIDE (video). They Denounce the Horrific SIN, but not their Zionist Sinners Friends

It is truly curious to note that the UN is capable of mobilizing a massive vaccination campaign obtaining an exceptional diplomatic result AFTER A SINGLE CONFIRMED CASE OF POLIO while it was unable to do anything to protect its workers, killed by the hundreds by the Israeli army, and 15,000 children exterminated by bombs supplied by the West, the USA and also by Italy to the Zionist government of Tel Aviv.

UN Convoy Attacked by Israel: Humanitarian Activities in Gaza Interrupted

As the American and Jewish Senator Bernie Sanders rightly pointed out, it is not anti-Semitism to condemn the Zionists guilty of a genocide of children.

Zionists’ Kids-Genocide as Never in the Wars! Jew US Senator: “Is not Antisemitism to Point out the Racist Netanyahu Govt Killings’

But the rhetoric of the Western mainstream that has seen Zionism proliferate thanks to Freemasonry and the Rothschilds continues to cling to the condemnation of ideology without being capable of mercilessly condemning an international criminal like Netanyahu by cutting off not only his ammunition but also his financial business.

The EU sanctions on Israeli ministers are “unreal”. This was said by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in Brussels, responding to the proposal of the EU High Representative Borrell against the politicians of the Zionist government who explicitly incited the depopulation of Gaza through bombings.

Final Countdown to Complete 1948’s Nakba. Israeli Govt admits the ZioNazi Genocide’s Goal: Depopulate Gaza Strip

As the vaccination campaign is about to begin, the UN itself is struggling more than ever.

The UN’s humanitarian aid operations in Gaza have been suspended in recent days, following Israel’s new order to evacuate Deir Al-Balah in the central part of the Strip.

A senior UN official said. “We are not able to work today in the conditions we are in,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. “We are not going to leave Gaza because people need us there.” “We are trying to balance the needs of the population with the need for security and protection of UN personnel,” he added.

FREEMASONRY & ZIONISM – 1. Apocalyptic “Cataclysms” by Synagogue of Satan: Genocides in Palestine & Plotted Pandemic for Lethal Vaccines.

Since the war between Israel and Hamas began in October, the UN has had to “delay or pause” its operations at times, “but never to the point of actually announcing that it can no longer do anything,” as is happening now, the official added.

The Israel Defense Forces carried out an airstrike on a humanitarian aid convoy in Gaza, aiming to target “armed assailants” trying to hijack it, but the charity that organized the aid said those killed in the attack were employees of the transport company it was working with. The convoy, organized by the US-based NGO Anera, was carrying medical supplies and fuel to an Emirati-run hospital in Rafah on Thursday evening.

Its route had been coordinated in advance with the IDF. Preliminary reports say five people were killed in the attack. The airstrike on the convoy came hours after Israeli soldiers opened fire on a World Food Programme (WFP) vehicle, clearly marked with United Nations insignia.

Why did they find the path clear in the vaccination campaign?

Simple because it is part of a global project launched by the usual Gates in 2023 that follows the one presented in Italy with the Rockefeller Foundation in 1999 from which the pilot project of the highly contested 10 mandatory vaccinations in school age in Italy was born.

The Global Vaccination Project by UNICEF and Gates

«The World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, along with Immunization Agenda 2030 and many other global and national health partners, are today joining forces to call for “The Big Catch-up”, a targeted global effort to boost vaccination among children following declines driven by the COVID-19 pandemic» reports the UNICEF website in a statement dated 24 April 2023.

WUHAN-GATES – 62. MANMADE SARS-Cov-2 FOR GOLDEN VACCINES: Metabiota, CIA, Biden, Gates, Rockefeller intrigued in Ukraine, China and Italy

«With over 25 million children missing at least one vaccination in 2021 alone, outbreaks of preventable diseases, including measles, diphtheria, polio and yellow fever are already becoming more prevalent and severe. The Big Catch-up aims to protect populations from vaccine-preventable outbreaks, save children’s lives and strengthen national health systems».

While calling on people and governments in every country to play their part in helping to catch up by reaching the children who missed out, The Big Catch-up will have a particular focus on the 20 countries where three quarters of the children who missed vaccinations in 2021 live: Afghanistan, Angola, Brazil, Cameroon, Chad, DPRK, DRC, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Somalia, Madagascar, Mexico, Mozambique, Myanmar, Tanzania, Viet Nam.

“Vaccinated at Higher Risk for Covid Infection and Hospitalization”. Vital, Heavy Study by Estonian University of Tartu

The genocide in the Holy Land now allows the plan to be extended to Palestine. The meaning of the UN action is clear: in Gaza, children can die of bombs and hunger every day, as long as they die vaccinated as Gates wants.

Just like the mRNA Covid genetic serums, however, anti-polio vaccines can also have serious adverse reactions.

  • Israel’s overreach: The perils of ignoring power limits
Israel’s prolonged multi-front aggression and its utter dependence on US support expose the perilous consequences of power overreach. Tel Aviv is left dangling in the wind with a sledgehammer, but no strategy to climb down.

    Mohamad Hasan Sweidan

In the study of international relations, one of the most important threats to nations arises from an internal lack of awareness about their limits of power. A nation-state’s power projection is ultimately defined by key factors – military, economic, technological, diplomatic, and political reach – that are measurable and have inherent limitations.

This principle has led retired Israeli Colonel Gur Laish, former senior director for National Security Strategy at Israel’s National Security Council, to issue a stark warning. In a paper published on 19 August by the Begin-Sadat Center for Israeli Strategic Studies, Laish cautions Israeli leaders against embracing a new security doctrine that overlooks its limitations.

    Israel’s strengths

Israel undeniably ranks among the world’s most formidable military powers, providing the occupation state with a strategic advantage over its regional adversaries. Its armed forces are ranked 15th globally and have received over $130 billion in support from the US, its irreplaceable ally in international affairs.

Economically, Israel is also a significant player. In 2023, The Economist ranked Israel fourth among developed countries for economic success. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimated Israel’s GDP to be $564 billion and its per capita GDP to be $58,270, putting it at 13th worldwide. Since its founding, Israel has received nearly $330 billion in foreign aid from the US, bolstering its economic dominance.

Technologically, Tel Aviv also stands out on the global stage. The Global Innovation Index 2023 ranks Israel 14th out of 132 economies. Within the high-income group of 50 economies, Israel is ranked 13th and holds the top spot among 18 countries in North Africa and West Asia. The Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2024 also ranks Israel third globally and first regionally, underscoring its technological prowess.

Diplomatically and politically, Israel benefits from unwavering US support, allowing it impunity from many international laws and norms. Washington has used its veto power in the UN Security Council 89 times, more than half of which have been to block resolutions critical of the occupation state.

Since 1945, out of 36 draft resolutions concerning Israel and Palestine, 34 were vetoed by the US, effectively shielding Israel from accountability for its actions. The US has also played a pivotal role in Israel’s diplomatic achievements, including normalization agreements with Egypt (1979) and Jordan (1994) and, more recently, the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco (2020), with ongoing efforts toward Saudi–Israeli normalization.

Dependence on Washington: A double-edged sword

Israel’s superiority in all these fields is closely tied to continuous US support, which also reveals a critical vulnerability. Dependence on Washington necessitates Israel’s alignment with western policies, which has led Israeli elites to caution against straining US–Israel relations.

Retired colonel Benina Sharvit Baruch highlights this point in an article for the Israeli Institute for National Security Studies (INSS). She notes that Israel’s integration into the international system is under threat, especially in light of the ongoing Gaza war, which has significantly damaged its global standing. Baruch warns that failing to counteract this trend could further undermine Israel’s spiraling economy, national security, and military objectives. Just last week, former ombudsman of the Israeli army, reserve General Yitzhak Brik, said the occupation entity “faces collapse in less than a year” if the war of attrition continues.

In another piece, the INSS also stresses that the US-Israel strategic alliance is contingent on shared values:

Israel’s strategic importance to the United States is relevant only as long as the shared values are safeguarded. At this time, the special relations are in danger, especially given the widening gaps on the perception of democracy, Israeli policy on the Palestinian issue, and the growing alienation between the American Jewish community and the State of Israel.

Indicators that Israel is reaching its limits

Beyond its dependency on US support, Israel’s military engagements, particularly in Gaza, have exposed the constraints of Tel Aviv’s power projection. Ten months into Israel’s brutal military assault on the besieged strip, the Palestinian resistance is still able to target Tel Aviv.

History shows that states that ignore their limitations often face decline. In his seminal work, Politics Among Nations, Hans Morgenthau argues for a balance between power and policy, warning that excessive force disrupts this equilibrium, leading to instability and potential decline.

Similarly, Paul Kennedy’s The Rise and Fall of Great Powers illustrates “imperial overstretch,” where ambitions exceed capabilities and precipitate decline. A recent example is the constrained ability of the US to support multiple fronts, evidenced by its diminished focus on Ukraine following the outbreak of the Gaza war.

Several indicators suggest that Israel, by continuing its war in Gaza, may be approaching the limits of its power. For starters, economic strain is becoming evident despite Israel’s historically strong economy. In the last quarter of 2023, Israel’s GDP contracted by about 20 percent compared to the previous year.

There was also a significant decrease in consumption by 27 percent, and investment fell dramatically by 70 percent. The war has disabled approximately 18 percent of Israel’s workforce, with 250,000 civilians displaced and four percent of the workforce called up as reservists.

In response, the occupation state plans to increase military spending from four percent to six or seven percent of GDP by the decade’s end. This increase in military spending comes as the global economy is already under strain, and the US is less capable of providing the same financial support as in the past.

In addition to the economic strain, there has been a failure to achieve the military objectives outlined at the onset of the conflict. Last month, the New York Times reported that, despite ongoing military operations, the Israeli leadership is considering a ceasefire in Gaza that would leave Hamas in control.

This shift in strategy is seen as a concession, acknowledging that the complete destruction of Hamas, the war’s primary goal, is not feasible. In June, Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari candidly admitted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s stated policy of eliminating Hamas was unrealistic, describing it as “throwing sand in the eye of the public” and adding:

Hamas is an idea. Anyone who thinks we can eliminate Hamas is wrong.

Concerns are also mounting over a second major front with Lebanon, a development that has now become a reality. Since 8 October 2023, Tel Aviv has adopted a cautious strategy to avoid broadening the conflict, aware that its military forces are already heavily committed in Gaza.

    ‘Boiling a frog’

In accordance with Iran’s grand strategy, the prolonged conflict has drained the Israeli military’s resources, making it hesitant to engage in a new confrontation without significant US support. The deployment of US naval fleets in the region, intended to deter any potential response from Iran, Lebanon, or Yemen, highlights Israel’s dependence on American military support. This dependency reveals Israel’s current inability to manage multiple fronts independently.

Furthermore, Israel’s heavy reliance on US support limits its autonomy and increases its vulnerability to shifts in American foreign policy. This dependency extends across economic, political, and military dimensions, further constraining Tel Aviv’s ability to act independently.

This week, Israel’s Defense Ministry announced that the US military has completed its 500th flight, airlifting over 50,000 tons of weapons and equipment to the occupation army. In addition to the reinforcements airlifted to Israel since 7 October, Washington has sent Tel Aviv 107 shipments of military supplies by sea.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah claimed in a speech late last year that Israel’s munitions stock had been largely depleted in the first month of its Gaza assault and that the occupation army was almost entirely reliant on arms transfers from its allies, primarily the United States.

What would happen if that pipeline of weapons halted or if it suffered major production delays?

For Colonel Laish, Israel’s traditional approach of rapid, decisive conflicts is being replaced by a strategy that accepts prolonged wars. This new, high-risk strategy promoted by Netanyahu could exceed Israel’s capabilities, as the society, economy, and military are not equipped for sustained, drawn-out conflicts.

This shift, driven by a sense of invulnerability due to current levels of US support, has led to a decline in long-term planning.

As Stephen Walt, a Harvard University professor of international relations, writes in Foreign Policy, “the deepest problem facing Israel is the gradual erosion of Israeli strategic thinking over the past fifty years.” Walt argues that one important factor in the decline of Israeli strategic thinking at the expense of tactical choices is “the sense of arrogance and impunity that stems from American protection and respect for Israel’s wishes.”

If the most powerful country in the world supports you no matter what you do, the need to think carefully about your actions will inevitably diminish.

Walt posits that Israel today, by prioritizing immediate tactical gains over strategic vision, faces a looming and resounding defeat. As it stands, the occupation state has yet to propose a realistic plan for Gaza’s future or a strategy to address its regional adversaries, who are becoming increasingly emboldened.

  • New confessions of spy cell reveal US targeting of political reality in Yemen
New confessions of spy cell reveal US targeting of political reality in Yemen
SANA'A August 18. 2024 (Saba) - New confessions of the US-Israeli spy cell broadcast by the security services this evening revealed the extent of the American targeting of the political reality in Yemen before and during the youth revolution in 2011.

The confessions included the American side's recruitment and polarization of party leaders, controlling the course of the elections, as well as fueling conflicts among parties, in addition to targeting the parliament and recruiting some of its members to work on implementing the American agenda.

The confessions in this aspect also included the major American role in infiltrating the youth revolution, recruiting leaders in the arena, and supporting certain components to control the revolution.

In this context, spy Shayef al-Hamdani explained that the democratic sector worked from the beginning to determine the president who manages Yemen by supporting the presidential elections and controlling the High Election Commission.

The spy Abdul Moeen Azzan explained that the election program at the American Democratic Institute was run by a Yemeni expert named Murad Zafer, and it was apparent that the program would provide technical support to political parties regarding the elections, how to participate in the elections, target voters and others, and on the basis that it also provides technical support to the Supreme Elections and Referendum Commission.

He pointed out that the election program was no different from other programs, as it had a hidden intelligence role, most notably attracting party leaders who were interested in the subject of elections, and most importantly, the institute and its successor the embassy and US intelligence were seeking through the program to obtain the electoral register of citizens, with the justification of seeking to automate the record, which was then paper.

In the context of his confessions, spy Shayef al-Hamdani revealed that USAID in Yemen worked with the rest of the offices and attachés at the US embassy with the High Election Commission on the days of the presidential elections between Ali Abdul Allah Saleh and Faisal bin Shamlan.

He acknowledged that he was part of a team consisting of various departments of the US embassy managed by "Brad Hansen", who assigned him to follow up on the Supreme Election Committee to find out that the election process is going according to what America wants and to see the progress of work and arrangements made by the committee and to go to the most prominent constituencies and electoral centers in terms of the number of voters, with a focus on the districts in which there is the public weight that will determine who will win the elections.

He explained that "Brad Hansen" was assisting the High Election Commission and his administration was likely to win Ali Abdul Allah Saleh in the elections at the time.

    Recruitment of party leaders

According to spy Abdul Moeen Azzan, he worked indirectly for US intelligence through Murad Zafer, who was then the director of programs and played a role in preparing Yemeni employees and preparing them to work later for US intelligence, as he gave him instructions on how to recruit, obtain information and establish relationships.

The party platform, which was run by a Serbian woman named Saša Pšvić, ostensibly provided support to Yemeni political parties and leaders, when in fact it was working to attract party and political leaders and recruit them for US intelligence, he said, and also worked to convince the parties that the US embassy is the sponsor of the political process in Yemen and the arbitrator of political disagreement and conflict between the various parties.

In turn, the spy Shayef Al-Hamdani said that support was provided to people in certain political parties to strengthen their parties, so everyone was seeking to please America in terms of building a relationship with it, and all parties and personalities were seeking to satisfy it, such as Dr. Yassin Saeed Noman, who was one of the closest confidants and friends of the US embassy, and Abdulmalik Al Mekhlafi from the Nasserite party.

About the Islah Party, the spy Al-Hamdani explained that the meeting was taking place with the leader of the party, Abdul Wahab Al-Ansi, and others, but on the military side, there was an intimate relationship between Lieutenant General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar and the US Embassy, especially with Ambassador "Fire Stein", who frequented him a lot and had many joint visits between them.

He stated that one of the most important goals sought by the embassy and the agency was to have an integral role between the various agencies of the embassy concerning the aspect of democracy and good governance until joint decisions were reached that provide support or intelligence benefit for everything, by attracting these figures to work to create unrest between political parties, so that reform cannot tolerate the General People's Congress, and does not tolerate socialism for ideological reasons, so all parties were involved in conflicts at the behest of America. So that the political situation remains sleazy.

According to the spy Azzan, there was a program that ostensibly sought to build the capacity of parties to be able to participate in elections and attract voters and others, but its real goal was to attract large political elites, especially those who refused to deal with the Americans at that period. He pointed out that the entry of the Institute at the end of the nineties coincided with the fall of the Soviet Union and the beginning of what was called the new world order "unipolar system" that Clinton was heralding.

He pointed out that most of the Yemeni parties were nationalist, leftist, and Islamist, and all of them were not favored to work or cooperate with America, but the Democratic Institute played a role in attracting many of the leaders of these parties to work to support the American agenda, which enabled the US embassy to play a role larger than its size due to the different roles played by the programs of the Democratic Institute.

The spy Azzan admitted that he worked as an assistant to the head of the parliament program at the institute, who was of Canadian nationality, in following up the sessions of the House of Representatives daily and making summaries, both from the news and later through journalists who were working inside the House and even from deputies. He indicated that he was communicating with MPs on behalf of the Canadian person to get the information he wanted.

"During my work at the Democratic Institute within the parliamentary program, Murad Zafer, along with a Lebanese expert named Ali Shaheen, was studying mainly the emergence of the emerging movement at the time, the Ansar al-Allah movement, its movements, size, activity, and others, and they were very interested in it, and I also helped in the studies and reports they were preparing about the Ansar Allah movement at that time," he said.

The spy Azzan pointed out that he was promoted to an official in the parliament program and continued to manage the program until mid-2009 when the program attracted a group of parliamentarians through a person named "Saad Eddin bin Talib", who was a member of parliament before joining the Institute, and he is a CIA and he attracted a group of deputies and made personal relations with them.

He pointed out that the so-called student used to host parliamentarians in his house and exploit, as is the American method, the conflict between the authority and the opposition in promoting the role that America provides, whether to the authority by maintaining it in its hand, or to the opposition by helping it to reach power.

The spy Azzan revealed that one of the intelligence works carried out by attracting parliamentarian "Abdul Moez Dibwan", through which he obtained a lot of information and sites, some of which were used in the oil side in Yemen and work for oil companies, explorations, and others.

He explained that he was reporting directly to the head of the Yemen office within the administration of the Democratic Institute in Washington, "Katherine Miles," on the Yemeni parliament and its conditions, especially about the aspects of oil, exploration, and others.

The role of the embassy in targeting parliament

On the negative role of the US embassy in targeting the parliament, spy Abdul Qader Al-Saqqaf explained that the embassy was intensifying meetings with active members of parliament, establishing extensive relations with them, sending them to courses in America, visits to the US House of Representatives, and also within the international visitor program, which is a tourism program to strengthen relations with them.

He pointed out that the embassy was keen on the presence of parliamentarians in the parties held annually as well as the parties held in foreign and Arab embassies, so that during these intensive meetings coordination with them regarding what is addressed in parliament, to pass what the Americans request concerning loans and the purchase of weapons, and any agreements in the field of security, counter-terrorism, economic fields and any projects in favor of the Americans, as well as obstructing projects that are not in the interest of the American side.

He stated that one of the most prominent parliamentarians who had a strong relationship and communicated with the US embassy was "Sultan al-Barakani" and sometimes invited the political attaché at that time to attend the sessions as a guest of honor, and arranged many meetings.

"Some mixed parliamentarians had an organization called Parliamentarians Against Corruption, including Sakhr al-Wajeeh, Muhammad Ali al-Shaddadi, and others, who were holding their meetings at al-Shadadi's house when the organization was in the process of being formed, and the political attaché of the US embassy attended these meetings," he said.

Al-Saqqaf pointed out that meetings were also held between Mohamed Al-Hazmi of the Islah bloc and the political official at the US embassy in 2009 or 2010, as well as between Hashem Al-Ahmar at his home with the assistants of the political attaché.

He pointed out that MP Othman Megally was preparing to meet with the US ambassador directly at the embassy headquarters, and there were meetings of the embassy with other members such as Shawqi Al-Qadi, who had an organization to train mosque preachers and had a relationship with the Media and Cultural Attaché in the Middle East Partnership Initiative "MEPI" department, where he used to get ideas and proposals on how to implement training courses for preachers and obtain financial grants to run this organization.

He reported that the head of the Islah parliamentary bloc, Zaid al-Shami, and his deputy, Abdul Razzaq al-Hijri, had meetings with the political attaché at the headquarters of the Islah party on parliamentary and party matters.

    Intelligence work across organizations' projects

The spy Hashem al-Wazir revealed that all USAID projects and any Western projects of the United Nations and other Western organizations have always come under the banner of providing aid to the country and the people, but they include a more important and dangerous hidden part related to intelligence work through these projects, regardless of their different fields.

"For example, the NDI Institute is entrusted with the process of attracting VIPs, recruiting them, and linking them directly to the US embassy, specifically with the US ambassador and the deputy ambassador, so that they manage from them directly and provide information directly to the CIA, which is the most important department in the embassy and the most important US agency in formulating foreign policies," he said.

"The institute was entrusted with the recruitment process, the departments of media figures, leaders of civil society organizations, women and youth, who were usually managed by American diplomats who are heads of departments concerned with these topics and provide information to them to be submitted directly to the CIA department at the embassy," he said.

This spy explained that the RGP project had a similar work in providing networks of American labor in the various entities in which it worked under the name of capacity building, whether in the Presidency of the Republic, for example, or in the Prime Minister's Office by recruiting department managers, deputy directors, director of the Prime Minister's Office and spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, who are linked to the project manager, who connects them directly to both the director of the agency and his deputy, who manage them for the CIA department through Take information from them directly.

He explained that opposition political elites were also attracted by inviting them to various embassy meetings and parties, where most political figures used to come to those occasions, and these figures were also sent in programs related to the exchange of visits with the United States. He pointed out that these visits were carried out by several personalities with political, economic, and social weight until the matter reached the level of judges who participated in the international visitor program.

The minister confirmed that these people were closely connected to the cultural attaché and the US embassy in general and were a source of data and information, especially about the judiciary and law-making.

Federalism is an American scheme for the division of Yemen

In this context, the spy Hisham Al-Wazir explained that through his review of documents in the United States Agency for Development, he noticed that there were projects supported by the Ministry of Local Administration during the period in which the Agency was opened in 2004 to 2010, and coordination was at the highest level between the Agency and the Americans themselves and other donors, and the United Nations Development Program participated in this matter with the support of local councils and decentralization between the years 2005 to 2009 with the Ministry of Local Administration, and There is coordination at the highest level on this issue with the Germans through the German Development Agency, the British, the Dutch and the World Bank.

He stressed that working on the issue of federalism in Yemen is a previous American work. He pointed out that during his work in the commercial department, he heard the US ambassador say that "the solution to the problems of Yemen is federalism," and when he joined the US Agency for Development, he heard the same words from his co-worker, Afrah Al-Zoba, who reported that she was informed in one of her visits to Washington that Yemen as a unified state will end and will not exist anymore and there will be a federal state divided into several sections.

American targeting of the youth revolution

In this aspect, spy Shayef Al-Hamdani revealed that when the youth revolution began in 2011, there was a hidden role for the US embassy in general, including the United States Agency for Development through the democracy and good governance sector, where some youth components were secretly supported to ensure building relationships with those who have a decision regarding the youth revolution.

"I am talking about the leaders of this youth revolution, including Tawakkol Karman, who participated in the International Visitor Program through the United States Agency for Development, as well as Hossam Al-Sharjabi, Afrah Al-Zouba and Osama Al-Roaini, who had a prominent role in this context," he said.

He pointed out that the aim is to form personalities with a future role in reaching the decision-making center and enabling the United States to control the decision through these people, and there was interest by the US embassy to control the revolution to keep the political, economic and social situation in Yemen under their control, so the focus was on the youth component as they are the largest segment in society. He pointed out that many personalities have reached prominent positions in the national dialogue, such as Osama Al-Roaini, Afrah Al-Zoba, Hossam Al-Sharjabi, and other young people who have reached government centers that can make decisions, such as Jalal Yaqoub, who also reached the position of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance.

In the context, the spy Abdul Moeen Azzan also revealed the intelligence role assigned to him in 2011 during the protests in the squares, where civil society organizations present in the square or their representatives were contacted to obtain information about the square and any movements or orientations of young people and the various blocs within the square through these organizations that were partners of the so-called "MEPI", which in turn carried out activities inside the tents in the square.

He explained that these organizations were receiving support and grants from the MEPI, which had relations and contacts with the various youth groups within the arena, and reports with all the information were submitted to Joan Cummins.

Spy Mohamed al-Kharashi said groups were sent to monitor the squares and find out which prominent figures joined them daily, as well as the most prominent events, and worked to write them in a report and send them to the regional security officer immediately.

Ali Mohsen's joining is a service to America

According to spy Shayef al-Hamdani, the United States noticed that the revolution in Yemen began to take another dimension and worked to preserve its interests through the component of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform, so Ali Mohsen was instructed to announce his separation from the armed forces and join the youth revolution, as well as other figures from the Islah Party such as Hamid al-Ahmar and others to provide support and control over the youth revolution at the time for political goals that serve American interests.

"Through my work during this period in the political attaché at the US embassy, it was clear that the American interventions led to the disruption of society and the creation of inter-conflict until we reached 2011, which witnessed a division in society, parties, and even within the framework of the ruling conference itself," he said. He pointed out that all this prepared for foreign interventions, which brought the idea of the Gulf initiative adopted by Saudi Arabia with the help of the five permanent members and other supporting countries that became called the "ten countries sponsoring the initiative", which led to the expansion of chaos.

He pointed out that with the widening circle of chaos, the UN envoy was sent to save the national dialogue, which ultimately serves the interest of America through the so-called "Yemen regionalization project", which is part of the plan to fragment the country required.

New confessions of spy cell reveal US targeting of political reality in Yemen New confessions of spy cell reveal US targeting of political reality in Yemen SANA'A August 18. 2024 (Saba) - New confessions of the US-Israeli spy cell broadcast by the security services this evening revealed the extent of the American targeting of the political reality in Yemen before and during the youth revolution in 2011. Recruitment of party leaders According to spy Abdul Moeen Azzan, he worked indirectly for US intelligence through Murad Zafer, who was then the director of programs and played a role in preparing Yemeni employees and preparing them to work later for US intelligence, as he gave him instructions on how to recruit, obtain information and establish relationships. The role of the embassy in targeting parliament On the negative role of the US embassy in targeting the parliament, spy Abdul Qader Al-Saqqaf explained that the embassy was intensifying meetings with active members of parliament, establishing extensive relations with them, sending them to courses in America, visits to the US House of Representatives, and also within the international visitor program, which is a tourism program to strengthen relations with them. Intelligence work across organizations' projects The spy Hashem al-Wazir revealed that all USAID projects and any Western projects of the United Nations and other Western organizations have always come under the banner of providing aid to the country and the people, but they include a more important and dangerous hidden part related to intelligence work through these projects, regardless of their different fields. • Violence against West Bank Palestinians intensifies, as Gaza’s “safe” space shrinks – Day 313
[email protected] August 16, 2024 amputation, arms embargo, ceasefire, east jerusalem water crisis, evacuation, israeli economy, israeli outposts, israeli settler violence, pogrom, west bank deaths

The taps have run dry in Jerusalem’s largest Palestinian neighborhood
+972 Magazine reports: In the searing heat of summer, Jerusalem’s largest Palestinian neighborhood is facing a major water crisis. Since June, residents of Kufr ‘Aqab have been receiving just 2 to 12 hours of water per week. Their complaints have been redirected from one official to the next, yet no one has provided them with a solution — nor taken responsibility for the problem.
Located within Jerusalem’s northeastern municipal boundary but severed from the rest of the city by the separation wall, Kufr ‘Aqab’s residents have grown accustomed to the systematic neglect they face from the Israeli authorities. But the current crisis is the worst it’s ever been. During the few hours that the water does flow, residents try to do everything they can with it: take showers, do laundry, and clean the house. The rest of the time, they are forced to buy water from private suppliers and store it in containers on the roofs of their apartment blocks.
“We have hospitals, nurseries, and schools in the area,” Iyad Sanduka, a member of the neighborhood’s residents’ committee, told +972 Magazine and Local Call. “Everyone suffers from the water shortage.”
Despite the fact that the majority of the neighborhood is officially part of Jerusalem, Kufr ‘Aqab doesn’t receive water from the municipal water supplier, Hagihon. Instead, like Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank, water is provided by the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA) — an arm of the Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority (PA) — which purchases it from the Israeli national water company, Mekorot.
This is symptomatic of Israel’s system of water apartheid in the occupied territories: Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are denied control of the aquifers under their feet, and must instead buy the water back in limited quantities from Israel. While Israelis have access to an average of 300 liters of water per day, Palestinians in the West Bank enjoy only 80 liters — 20 liters less than the World Health Organization’s recommended daily quantity. For Palestinians in Gaza, it is currently as low as 3 liters.

New York Times reports: Israel has achieved all that it can militarily in Gaza, according to senior American officials, who say continued bombings are only increasing risks to civilians while the possibility of further weakening Hamas has diminished.

With the Biden administration racing to get cease-fire negotiations back on track, a growing number of national security officials across the government said that the Israeli military had severely set back Hamas but would never be able to completely eliminate the group.

Israel has made bold claims about the number Hamas deaths, without proof.

But one of Israel’s biggest remaining goals — the return of the roughly 115 living and dead hostages still held in Gaza after being seized in the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks — cannot be achieved militarily, according to current and former American and Israeli officials.

Israel’s most recent military operations have been something of a Whac-a-Mole strategy in the eyes of American analysts. U.S. officials are skeptical that approach will yield decisive results.

While Israel has tried to damage the tunnels, it has failed to destroy them, American officials said. The network has proved much larger than Israel anticipated, and it remains an effective way for Hamas to hide its leaders and move around fighters.

And even as the Israel Defense Forces have seized territory and killed Hamas fighters from north to south of the territory, they have repeatedly had to go back in as Hamas fighters regrouped. For example, Israel weakened Hamas’s grip in the Jabaliya camp, in northern Gaza, but had to return to the area in May after the group reconstituted in the power vacuum.

Biden administration officials say diplomacy is the only way that Israel can achieve possibly its biggest goal — getting its hostages back.

Israeli economy on the brink as it awaits retaliation from Resistance Axis

The Cradle reports: The Israeli economy is on the ropes as the country awaits retaliation for its attacks against Iran, Lebanon, and Yemen over the past month, according to reports in Hebrew media.

“These two weeks have exhausted the market, as some economic activities have been canceled, and another part has been reduced due to public fear,” the economic affairs commentator for Israel’s Channel 13 News said on 15 August.

Israel’s tourism industry, in particular, has recorded massive losses due to the broad cancellation of flights by international airlines.

Israel’s education sector will also be severely affected if the wait continues into September, as institutions will have to “maneuver within combat scenarios,” according to the Israeli broadcaster.

The Israeli economy has already taken several hits 10 months into the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, with the most recent one being the decision by US financial services firm Fitch to downgrade the nation’s credit rating.

UN rapporteur says ‘shocking’ 40,000 deaths in Gaza were preventable

Al Jazeera reports: UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese says the “shocking” death toll in Gaza, which has reached a landmark 40,000 people, was predictable and avoidable as United Nations experts have long issued warnings and called for international action to stop the violence.

In spite of this, the UN Security Council and other international bodies have failed to stop the conflict.

“The moral abyss in which [Israel has] fallen is hard to comprehend,” Albanese told Al Jazeera, adding that the war in Gaza points to “an epic failure of the system of international law that was built after World War II to prevent and punish crimes such as this”.

The conflict also shed light on the “hypocrisy” in the legal system, where “a few countries have the power to determine to whom international law can be applied and to whom it cannot”.

“Blue Vote Red Line” movement seeks commitment from Harris for Palestine justice

The “Blue Vote Red Line” movement seeks to collect 1 million voters to pledge a vote for the Democratic ticket if, and only if, it commits to 1) enforce an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, as ordered by the World Court and UN Security Council Resolution 2735 or 2) end all military aid to Israel.

Their goal is to “force the Democratic Party to listen to its voters and not just its donors. We demand concrete results from the current Biden-Harris Administration to end the Gaza Genocide and a credible commitment from a Harris-Walz ticket which will pressure Israel to achieve a just and lasting solution to the illegal occupation of Palestine.”

“We hereby pledge to vote Democratic on November 5th only if the current administration: 1) enforces an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, as ordered by the World Court and UN Security Council Resolution 2735 or 2) ends all military aid to Israel.”

The pledge can be viewed and signed here.

Pledging arms embargo on Israel would help Harris gain more voter support: Poll

Middle East Eye reports: According to a new poll, roughly one-third of Democratic Party voters in the US states of Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania have said they are more likely to vote for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election if she were to agree to stop sending arms to Israel.

In Pennsylvania, 34 percent of voters were more likely to vote for Harris if she agreed to the arms embargo, while 44 percent were more likely to vote for her if Biden achieved a ceasefire.

In Georgia, an arms embargo would make 39 percent of voters more likely to vote for Harris, and a ceasefire would similarly make 44 percent of voters more likely to choose the vice president.

Arizona showed similar numbers, with 35 percent of voters more inclined to choose Harris if she agreed to an arms embargo on Israel, while 41 percent of voters would do so if Biden achieved a ceasefire in Gaza.

Journalists Demand Blinken Back Israel Arms Embargo

From Consortium News: In an open letter to Antony Blinken, 113 journalists, 7 press freedom groups and 20 news outlets accused the U.S. secretary of state of being “complicit in one of the gravest affronts to press freedom today” in Gaza. Here are excerpts from the letter, which was delivered to the State Department on Thursday morning with a request to meet with the Secretary of State.

    Dear Secretary Blinken,

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed more than 160 Palestinian journalists. This is the largest recorded number of journalists killed in any war. While Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of the densely populated Gaza means no civilians are safe, Israel has also been repeatedly documented deliberately targeting journalists.

Israel’s military actions are not possible without U.S. weapons, U.S. military aid, and U.S. diplomatic support. By providing the weapons being used to deliberately kill journalists, you are complicit in one of the gravest affronts to press freedom today.

On World Press Freedom Day this year, you called on “every nation to do more to protect journalists,” and reiterated your “unwavering support for free and independent media around the world.”

As journalists, publications and press freedom groups in solidarity with the courageous Palestinian journalists of Gaza, we call on you to do more to protect journalists and show unwavering support for free and independent media by supporting an arms embargo against Israel…

Under international law, the intentional targeting of journalists is a war crime.5 While all governments are bound by international law protecting reporters, U.S. domestic law also prohibits the State Department from providing assistance to units of foreign security forces credibly accused of gross violations of human rights.6 Israel’s well-documented pattern of extrajudicial executions of journalists is a gross violation of human rights.

Additionally, the First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the American people’s right to receive information and ideas.7 Israel’s deliberate targeting of journalists follows a longstanding pattern by the Israeli government to suppress truthful reporting on its treatment of Palestinians and its war in Gaza. By providing Israel with the weapons used to kill journalists, the State Department is abetting Israel’s violent suppression of journalism.

The U.S. is providing the weapons Israel continually uses to target Palestinian journalists in Gaza. This is a violation of International law and U.S. domestic law. We urge you to immediately cease the transfer of all weapons to Israel.

    STATISTICS OCTOBER 7 – AUGUST 15:

Palestinian death toll from October 7 – August 15: at least 40,634* (40,005 in Gaza* – 11,445 women (30%), 16,251 children as of July 22. [The Ministry’s figures have been contested by the Israeli authorities, although they have been accepted as accurate by Israeli intelligence services, the UN, and WHO. These data are supported by independent analyses, comparing changes in the number of deaths of UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) staff with those reported by the Ministry, which found claims of data fabrication implausible.]

This is expected to be a significant undercount since thousands of those killed have yet to be identified – and at least 632 in the West Bank (~145 children). This does not include an estimated 10,000 more still buried under rubble (4,900 women and children). Euro-Med Monitor reports 46,848 Palestinian deaths.

Lancet: “Applying a conservative estimate of four indirect deaths per one direct death9 to the 37,396 deaths reported, it is not implausible to estimate that up to 186 000 or even more deaths could be attributable to the current conflict in Gaza.

Ralph Nader earlier estimated 200,000 Palestinians may have been killed in Gaza.

At least 45 Palestinians have died in Israeli prisons (27 from Gaza, 18 from West Bank).
At least 41 Palestinians have died due to malnutrition**.
About 1.9 million of Gaza’s 2.3 million population are currently displaced.
Almost 500,000 Gazans are currently experiencing catastrophic levels of food insecurity.
Palestinian injuries from October 7 – August 15: at least 97,821 (including at least 92,401 in Gaza and 5,420 in the West Bank, including 830 children). [It remains unknown how man Americans are among the casualties in Gaza.]

Reported Israeli death toll from October 7 – August 15: ~1,454 (~1,139 on October 7, 2023, of which ~32 were Americans, and ~36 were children); 290*** military forces since the ground invasion began in Gaza; 25 military and civilians in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Israel) and~10,000 injured.

NOTE: It is unknown at this time how many of the deaths and injuries in Israel on October 7 were caused by Israeli soldiers.

*Previously, IAK did not include 471 Gazans killed in the Al Ahli hospital blast since the source of the projectile was being disputed. However, given that much evidence points to Israel as the culprit, Israel had previously bombed the hospital and has attacked many others, Israel is prohibiting outside experts from investigating the scene, and since the UN and other agencies are including the deaths from the attack in their cumulative totals, if Americans knew is now also doing so.

**Euro-Med Monitor reports that Gaza’s elderly are dying at an alarmingly high rate. The majority die at home and are buried either close to their residences or in makeshift graves dispersed across the Strip. There are currently more than 140 such cemeteries. Additionally, according to Euromed, thousands have died from starvation, malnourishment, and inadequate medical care; these are considered indirect victims as they were not registered in hospitals.

***Approximately ten of the deaths listed above were Israeli soldiers killed by Hezbollah in fighting at the Israel-Lebanon border. The figure does not include the reportedly 41 Israeli soldiers – nearly 16% of the total Israeli military deaths – killed due to friendly fire in Gaza and other military-related accidents.

† For most of the conflict, women and children accounted for about 70% of deaths in Gaza, with children making up a little over 40% of those killed, according to official statistics.

Violence against West Bank Palestinians intensifies, as Gaza’s “safe” space shrinks – Day 313 [email protected] August 16, 2024 amputation, arms embargo, ceasefire, east jerusalem water crisis, evacuation, israeli economy, israeli outposts, israeli settler violence, pogrom, west bank deaths The taps have run dry in Jerusalem’s largest Palestinian neighborhood +972 Magazine reports: In the searing heat of summer, Jerusalem’s largest Palestinian neighborhood is facing a major water crisis. “Everyone suffers from the water shortage.” Despite the fact that the majority of the neighborhood is officially part of Jerusalem, Kufr ‘Aqab doesn’t receive water from the municipal water supplier, Hagihon. (Read the full article here.) RECOMMENDED READING: ‘Buying Our Own Stolen Water’ in Bethlehem – Scorching Summer Awaits Palestinians in the West Bank New York Times reports: Israel has achieved all that it can militarily in Gaza, according to senior American officials, who say continued bombings are only increasing risks to civilians while the possibility of further weakening Hamas has diminished. Israeli economy on the brink as it awaits retaliation from Resistance Axis The Cradle reports: The Israeli economy is on the ropes as the country awaits retaliation for its attacks against Iran, Lebanon, and Yemen over the past month, according to reports in Hebrew media. UN rapporteur says ‘shocking’ 40,000 deaths in Gaza were preventable Al Jazeera reports: UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese says the “shocking” death toll in Gaza, which has reached a landmark 40,000 people, was predictable and avoidable as United Nations experts have long issued warnings and called for international action to stop the violence. Their goal is to “force the Democratic Party to listen to its voters and not just its donors. We demand concrete results from the current Biden-Harris Administration to end the Gaza Genocide and a credible commitment from a Harris-Walz ticket which will pressure Israel to achieve a just and lasting solution to the illegal occupation of Palestine.” “We hereby pledge to vote Democratic on November 5th only if the current administration: 1) enforces an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, as ordered by the World Court and UN Security Council Resolution 2735 or 2) ends all military aid to Israel.” The pledge can be viewed and signed here. Pledging arms embargo on Israel would help Harris gain more voter support: Poll Middle East Eye reports: According to a new poll, roughly one-third of Democratic Party voters in the US states of Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania have said they are more likely to vote for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election if she were to agree to stop sending arms to Israel. Here are excerpts from the letter, which was delivered to the State Department on Thursday morning with a request to meet with the Secretary of State. Dear Secretary Blinken, Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed more than 160 Palestinian journalists. On World Press Freedom Day this year, you called on “every nation to do more to protect journalists,” and reiterated your “unwavering support for free and independent media around the world.” As journalists, publications and press freedom groups in solidarity with the courageous Palestinian journalists of Gaza, we call on you to do more to protect journalists and show unwavering support for free and independent media by supporting an arms embargo against Israel… Under international law, the intentional targeting of journalists is a war crime.5 While all governments are bound by international law protecting reporters, U.S. domestic law also prohibits the State Department from providing assistance to units of foreign security forces credibly accused of gross violations of human rights.6 Israel’s well-documented pattern of extrajudicial executions of journalists is a gross violation of human rights. • 70 Israeli special forces, American mercenaries neutralized by Yemen during infiltration operation - Col. Douglas Macgregor
    Colonel Douglas MacGregor
    FILE: Colonel Douglas MacGregor
Technology changes war, and when it changes, those who struggle to adapt will suffer.
Col Macgregor reports that an attempt to infiltrate Yemen resulted in a complete disaster courtesy of Russian satellite technology.

Andrew Napolitano: Colonel was there recently some military activity by the Houthies which resulted in about 70 deaths of IDF and some American contractors about which you can tell us?

Col. Douglas Macgregor: Well, I can tell you only what I found through open source material. I haven't seen anything classified but I am reliably told that roughly 70 Israeli Special Forces along with some number of Americans, the total number was 70. How many were American mercenaries that joined in this operation, I don't know what the exact breakdown was, but it was obviously mostly Israeli. They infiltrated successfully into Yemen, but they were tracked from the moment they infiltrated by overhead satellites, presumably Russian, and the Russians provided this information to the Iranians who immediately telegraphed it to the Houthis. Whatever you say about the Houthis, they're tough hombres on the battlefield.

They set up an ambush and they killed all of them, and there is footage of the dead. I haven't had a chance to examine it carefully, clearly most of it's Israeli, but there are some indisputably some American mercenaries, there may be some Brits mixed into it who are also employees of the same contract firm now.

This is something very important for everybody listening to understand: persistent surveillance today changes everything in warfare. It not only enables precision strike on a scale that has never been the case in the past, it makes it impossible for forces to infiltrate into regions without being discovered.

We can't know yet if this report is true or not. But there are four reasons it is credible:
Yemen successfully denied the Red Sea to the US Navy earlier this year.
The US Navy wants to put its four aircraft carriers in the Middle East in position to support Israeli efforts in the region, but is endangered by Yemeni land-to-sea strike abilities.
Taking out the coastal missile batteries using air strikes has failed.
An infantry infiltration was the only remaining option for eliminating Yemeni land-to-sea capabilities.

So, the fact that the IDF and some US special forces are reported to have attempted the obvious solution to the problem makes sense.

Comment: Clearly these special forces overestimated themselves, and underestimated Ansra Allah (yet again).

However, I fail to see how this puts Israel on the ropes in any way; the denial of the Red Sea was already an accomplished fact and despite decades of claims to the contrary, Iran is observably not in any particular hurry to start a full-scale war with Israel.

Speaking of technology and war, I highly recommend Martin van Creveld's work on the matter. It's an excellent and informative book.

  • Resistance Axis praises choice of Yahya Sinwar as new Hamas leader

Israeli officials renewed their vow to ‘eliminate’ Sinwar after his selection as the head of Hamas’ political bureau

Yemen’s Ansarallah, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, and others have congratulated Yahya Sinwar on his election to the leadership of the Hamas movement’s political bureau, after Israel’s assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran at the end of last month.

Ansarallah spokesman and head of Sanaa’s UN delegation, Mohammad Abdulsalam, congratulated Sinwar in a statement on 7 August. “We ask God Almighty to grant the leader Sinwar support and guidance to carry out this responsibility in this historic phase of the confrontation with the Israeli enemy,” Abdulsalam said in a statement on 7 August.

Hezbollah said on 6 August that “the selection of brother Yahya Sinwar, from the heart of the besieged Gaza Strip, who is with his Mujahid brothers on the front lines of the resistance and among his people under the rubble, siege, killing and starvation, is a confirmation that the goals sought by the enemy in killing leaders and officials have failed to achieve their anything.”

“It is a strong message to the Zionist enemy and behind it the United States and its allies that the Hamas movement is united in its decision, firm in its principles, steadfast in its major choices, and is determined to continue [fighting],” Hezbollah added.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement and other Palestinian resistance groups congratulated Sinwar on Tuesday.

After Hamas’ announcement, Israeli officials renewed their vow to kill the newly appointed chief of the resistance group’s political bureau – who they call the “mastermind” of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood that launched on 7 October.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said the decision was “yet another compelling reason to swiftly eliminate him and wipe this vile organization off the face of the earth.”

The spokesman for the Israeli army, Daniel Hagari, said “there is only one place for Yahya Sinwar and that is next to Muhammad Deif and all the terrorists who are responsible for October 7. This is the only place we are preparing and designating for him,” adding that “the hunt for Sinwar will not stop until we catch him, dead or alive.”

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Sinwar “has been and remains the primary decider when it comes to concluding a ceasefire. And so, I think this only underscores the fact that it is really on him to decide whether to move forward with a ceasefire that manifestly will help so many Palestinians in desperate need.”

Hamas announced its decision to elect Sinwar as the new political bureau chief earlier on Tuesday.

“The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announces the selection of Commander Yahya Sinwar as the head of the political bureau of the movement, succeeding the martyr Commander Ismail Haniyeh, may [God] have mercy on him,” Hamas said in a statement.

Sinwar is currently inside the besieged Gaza Strip and, despite being pursued by Israeli forces, remains in contact with resistance fighters on the ground.

  • Israel's Unhinged Assassinations Are A Threat To Global Security
    The Last American Vagabond

Israel's assassination of a Hezbollah leader in Beirut, followed shortly after by the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Hanniyeh in Tehran, represent unhinged military operations which were undoubtedly green-lit by the United States. As the region now descends into further chaos, which could engulf the world, it is important to understand why this happened and what the US-Israeli strategy is.

Last Tuesday, Israel launched an attack on southern Beirut, the Lebanese capital, killing 7 and injuring 80 others, including 3 children and two women. The building the Israeli Air Force struck, using drones and missiles fired from fighter jets, was a civilian populated tower and was reduced to mere rubble. Tel Aviv's primary target was a Hezbollah military leader called Fouad Shoukr, one of the groups most prominent military leaders, and he was killed alongside an Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) advisor in that building.

Only hours later, a shock report emerged from Iran. Ismail Hanniyeh, the head of the Hamas political wing, had been assassinated in a building located in Tehran, the Iranian Capital, after attending the inauguration of Iran's new President Masoud Pezeshkian. Hanniyeh, who had been advocating strongly for a ceasefire in Gaza and even announced that Hamas would be willing to lay down its weapons if a two-State solution was reached only months earlier, had been eliminated, and with him, perhaps the final hope at a peaceful solution.

    What Led Up To This?

In order to understand the thinking of the Israelis and to also comprehend what we are now seeing, we have to look at the situation through the cold lenses of strategy, robbing the situation of legal and moral interpretations.

Israel has failed to achieve its declared goal of its war in the Gaza Strip, vowing to completely destroy Hamas. If we take for instance the latest analysis published by CNN -- which combined the analyses of investigative journalists at the US media outlet with those of the American Enterprise Institute’s Critical Threats Project and the Institute for the Study of War -- only 3 out of 24 Hamas battalions in Gaza have been rendered combat ineffective, while 13 were degraded and 8 are still combat effective. Despite the Israeli military's denial of these conclusions, the facts on the ground appear to strongly back the conclusions published by CNN, and although Benjamin Netanyahu declared to Congress last month that "victory is in sight", his own military admitted that they couldn't defeat Hamas.

Keep in mind here, that the Israelis have, by their own admission, failed to destroy 80% of the Gaza tunnel systems that the resistance fighters use, despite attempting to flood them with water and fill them with chemical gas. On top of this, there are around a dozen Palestinian armed groups inside the Gaza Strip that are combating Israel's ground invasion and there is no sign that any of them have been completely defeated either as we still receive communiques and videos from them which feature their fighters launching attacks on Israeli military targets.

Israel is also lying about its military casualties in the Gaza Strip, as contradictory reports continually surface about how many injured soldiers there are, and the death toll is not consistent with what the video evidence suggests either.

Regardless of how you see the above, however, Israel has failed to defeat Hamas after 10 months of fighting in the Gaza Strip and their use of maximum firepower, with little to no concern for civilian life. The Israelis are also suffering from a significant problem in troop motivation, as their soldiers are tired and many have expressed no desire to continue fighting, while they additionally suffer from a shortage of tanks and armored personnel carriers that they need to fight on other fronts. Israel has also failed to free its captives held in Gaza, killing more of them than it has managed to actually recapture. This, as an internal Israeli crisis continues to plague their society, with a battle between secular and religious threatening to spiral out of control.

All this as Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, understands well that ending the war will cost him his far-right coalition and perhaps lead to further chaos, in addition to his arrest on charges of corruption if he was to lose the election that would inevitably follow.

It suffices to say that Israel is at a breaking point, 46,000 businesses have closed since October 7, while projections predict that this figure will rise to 60,000 by the end of 2024. The Israeli Port of Eilat has declared bankruptcy, while hundreds of thousands of Israelis remain displaced or have moved away from the surrounding settlements around Gaza or the Lebanese border. The blow that Hamas delivered to Israel's security, military, intelligence, weapons industry, and political elitists on October 7, has never been recovered from, as Hezbollah and Yemen's Ansarallah strike at will against Israeli targets.

The US-Israeli vision prior to the Hamas-led October 7 attack was to formally establish ties between Riyadh and Tel Aviv, paving the way for the construction of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), which the Biden administration announced on September 9, 2023, during the G-20 summit hosted by India. US President Joe Biden announced the IMEC as a "really big deal", believing that all the chips were in place to initiate Saudi-Israeli normalization and begin creating the new trade route through the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and then occupied Palestine.

In reality, Washington had completely ignored the plight of the Palestinians and assumed them to be a non-issue, proceeding to go ahead with the tunnel vision approach of pursuing a policy that was going to lead to catastrophe in West Asia. The plan was to form an "Arab NATO" that would be led by the Israelis, designed to combat Iran and to construct this new trade route that was designed to rival China's Belt and Road Initiative in line with the US' Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII).

    Israel Had Two Options

Hamas shattered the dreams and aspirations of the US-Israeli alliance on October 7, putting the Palestinian cause for Statehood back on the map. Israel's response, backed fully by their US allies, was designed to make the Palestinians pay the ultimate price for daring to disrupt their West Asia agenda. Yet the further Israel took the conflict, the worse its own predicament got and the less likely it began to appear that the Israelis were going to achieve their war goals.

The whole world looked on in shock and horror at the genocide that was taking place inside the Gaza Strip, while every single organ of the United Nations worked overtime to point out how egregious Israel's crimes were, the record of which does not need to be mentioned here as it is so incredibly lengthy and publcailly acknowledged. However, the US government stood by Israel's side and refused to say no. No sane American voices emerged from Washington to deter the US-Israeli alliance from escalating and therefore the Israelis were given a free hand to continue their vengeance policy in Gaza.

Israel was left with two options:

    1) Pursue an immediate ceasefire, which would end the war in Gaza and all the other fronts. A ceasefire which would have included a prisoner exchange to free captives on both sides and to then continue on to negotiate some kind of interim agreement that would pave the way to a meaningful two-State solution. Off the back of this there could have been the possibility of there still being a route to Saudi-Israeli normalization, and dialogue between Iran and the United States to revive the Iran Nuclear Deal, while the Israeli economy could slowly find its way to stability. From there, the Israeli domestic situation would begin to boil, yet there could have been methods of attempting to find middle-ground with strong influence from American Zionists and the US government.

    2) Refuse to accept compromise, expand the war to other fronts with the hope that you can contain the situation to limited wars and battles, without triggering a full-scale regional conflagration. This strategy, as I have written about for The Last American Vagabond in the past, would include escalation on the Lebanese front specifically, so that Israel can claim to have confronted Hezbollah and end the conflict it causes in a stale-mate. After closing this war, they would then move on to annexing territory in the occupied West Bank and hold this up as a victory from the war.

Israel chose the latter strategy, which now comes at a major cost. Not only have the Israelis -- with US backing -- decided to enter into a new phase of conflict with regional actors, they have killed any possibility for peace in the future.

At this point, the situation can go one of two ways. Either their will be an all-out regional war that will wipe Israel off the face of the earth, or the situation will manage to quiet down after significant death and destruction on both sides.

Israel took a great gamble by carrying out these two assassinations. According to Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Israel committed three separate actions which deserve responses; the Israelis assassinated a Hezbollah leader, attacked the Lebanese Capital, and committed a civilian massacre. While the assassination of Ismail Hanniyeh destroyed the prospect of reaching an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, while also violating Iran's sovereignty and dealing a massive blow to Iranian security. Iran therefore officially informed the UN of their intention to respond in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

Both the Israeli and American governments, who share equal guilt in this escalation that we are now seeing, are betting on being able to limit the scope of the war. If we are to assume that the Israeli-US alliance is not suicidal, because an all out war will wipe Israel off of the map, then we must interpret their actions as a desperate last ditch attempt to try and assert their dominance over the region.

If the Israelis can pull through a regional war, which does not transform into an all out battle to the death, then they can claim a small victory by simply surviving. Then, from there, they can bring in the United Nations to force an end to the war on all fronts, conclude a deal with Hamas in Gaza, before moving on to fixating on the West Bank. So, in their strategic thinking, they have pulled off a bold move, which could manage to salvage a stalemate and save them from a slow defeat. At the end of which they will hold up those they assassinated as trophies to their own people, before enacting a land grab.

To say the least, this is a risky and reckless strategy. It could also backfire, resulting in a situation in which Israel will collapse as a State. If the fall of Israel seems inevitable, they will have two options at this point also:

    1) Fire nuclear warheads (AKA the Samson Option)

    2) Allow for a multinational regional force to send its armies into Palestine/Israel in order to secure the territory. This could include the Egyptian, Jordanian, and Turkish armed forces, which would be used to hold territory and deter attacks from groups fighting Israel out of Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. This would be a strategy employed to save Israel from losing its territory, while also providing a way for Israeli citizens to flee the country.

We have entered a dangerous period of war and this could easily escalate into a situation that spins out of everyone's control. Unfortunately, the US government has allowed this to happen and may involve itself in such an un-winnable war.

I thought of titling this, Zionists: Nazis With Nukes, but that isn’t the kicker delivered by Alastair Crooke’s SCF essay, “The 1948 Irgun re-born?”, and in this morning’s chat with Judge Napolitano, “Alastair Crooke : Willful Western Blindness Over Israel.”

An alarming number of incidents perpetrated by the Zionists have occurred beginning with Netanyahu’s War Talk to the US Congress not quite two weeks ago. All will be reviewed by Crooke in his writing and chat, so I won’t replicate them here. There’s also been a very important development as Russia’s been shipping sophisticated EW and other gear to Iran for at least a week, and Shoigu is now in Tehran to sign the newest Strategic Alliance Treaty between Russia and Iran that was put on hold because of President Raisi’s death and the election of President Masoud Pezeshkian. That will likely be done today. Simplicius provides some details as to recent Russian actions about half-way through this essay. While today at The Cradle is an analytical essay that agrees with my thinking about what will transpire at some point, which I’ll reproduce below after Crooke’s essay. Again, it’s easier to comprehend Crooke’s chat with Judge Napolitano by reading his essay first the going to the chat. And yes, there’s another article I’ll be publishing dealing with what’s happening within the EU.

But before getting to Crooke’s essay, a brief note about the newest version of Black Monday for speculators. Here’s the opening to Sputnik’s article on the subject, “Why Did the Global Stock Market Crash And Who is to Blame?”:

The combination of "political mismanagement of debt, politicized fact-spinning, and resulting inflation" - all very real risks - have been factors contributing to serious market volatility, as the recent global market plummet has shown, Paul Goncharoff, a veteran financial analyst, told Sputnik. [Emphasis Original]

The emphasized “reasons” have been present for years but no massive selloff happened. The signs were visible for many months, primarily the instability of the Western banking system and its vulnerability to raised/rising interest rates after years of “free money” via the Zero Interest Rate Policy—ZIRP—instituted by many central banks, particularly Japan’s, where that’s been policy for many years. Within the Outlaw US Empire, the crisis is in commercial real estate, which was once a very low risk sector for bank loans, that’s been unended since Covid and the move to telecommuting, and we’ve already seen why banks are under treat from rising interest rates that’s caused the market value of bonds drop steeply causing some banks to go under due to bank runs by big depositors aware of such balance sheet frailty. Given such instability, almost any reason can be given for the selloff and is, but the main underlying reasons remain under the rug for the time being. Yes, much more could and ought to be said, but that’s all for now as we’ll now turn to one of the factors underlying the instability is the Zionist Genocide and its actions: Crooke’s essay:

The signposts are there for all to read: The West – in deliberately overlooking such explicit markers – cannot then complain, or escape, the ensuing consequences.

No, the ‘tin ear’ is not some new western derangement – a unique mass collapse of sanity – that we are living through. It is something worse: a return to a dogmatic, authoritarian version of truth which dissident physicist Eric Weinstein complains has (in the West) also destroyed true science – ignoring and silencing its most important dissident voices, whilst amply rewarding Science’s frauds.

Consider: Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed the U.S. Congress on 24 July saying, in an unrelieved Manichaean mode, that the West is facing an “axis of evil” (Iran and allies), which the U.S. must join in destroying. It was a call to participate in civilisational war.

His invitation was celebrated with 58 standing ovations from U.S. legislators.

Netanyahu returned home to a disaster in the Druze community on the Golan. Missile fragments had struck, killing and wounding many children playing football (the exact circumstances are still not clear). Western rationality however is perfectly capable to deduce firstly, that Majdal Shams lies in Occupied Syria; secondly, that the Druze community there remains overwhelmingly Syrian (rejecting Israeli citizenship) and largely pro-Syrian. And that they are neither Jews nor Israelis. The West seemingly cannot however, adduce the further very obvious conclusion: Why on earth would Hizbullah intentionally attack a Syrian community on Syrian land that largely is sympathetic to the Resistance?

They wouldn’t. Yet these obvious facts are completely ignored by a rationality that, as Weinstein suggests, actively prefers fraud to truth. Spokesman Kirby said Hizbullah had attacked children in northern Israel.

Israel’s Defence minister repeatedly says: “We don’t want war”. Western leaders parrot the same meme: No-one wants war. ‘We are fully confident that Israel’s response will be constrained and limited to military targets’. The White House: “In our view, there is no reason for some dramatic escalation in southern Lebanon and there is still time and space for diplomacy”.

So what then occurs? Two major assassinations: one in Beirut and the other in Tehran (i.e. to a guest on Iranian sovereign territory). Western leaders express their ‘concern’. The Hamas target in Tehran, Ismail Haniyeh, as the Qatari PM noted, was the key Gaza hostage negotiator.

This too will be overlooked, though Netanyahu’s intent to weave together Hamas, Hizbullah and Iran into a single ‘axis of evil’ cloth – thus speaking to his Join-Session of Congress thesis – must be evident even to a blinkered Washington.

Recall the new ‘equation’ that followed the assassination of a senior IRGC official in the Iranian Consulate in April 2024: Henceforth Iran will respond directly – and directly from Iran. Washington says it does not want war with Iran, yet the latter explicitly was what Netanyahu advocated. Did the legislators miss his point?

For nearly ten months, Israel has been unable to stabilize the situation along the northern border and allow for the return of displaced Israelis to their homes. Even if the Beirut strike doesn’t lead to wider war, restoring a negotiated stability on the Lebanese border is now beyond reach – as is too, a Gaza hostage deal. “How can mediation succeed when one party assassinates the negotiator on the other side”, Qatari PM al-Thani ruefully observed.

So too ‘overlooked’ in the West, will be that which happened in Israel on the same day the assassinations later took place: Right-wing vigilantes descended from their settlements, storming two military IDF bases. The anarchic scenes of mass break-ins, fomented by several members of the ruling coalition, some of whom took part in the forcible entries, sparked angry condemnation from Defence Minister Gallant.

The invasions were supported by one minister and several Knesset members seeking to free reservists that are suspected of aggravated abuse and forcible sodomy against a Palestinian detainee. According to a security source, the injured detainee was taken to a hospital with severe injuries, including to an intimate body part which left him unable to walk.

“The spectacle of military police officers coming to arrest our best heroes at Sde Teiman is nothing less than shameful”, said Ben Gvir, whose ministry controls the Israel Police and Israel Prison Service, said of the storming of the IDF post.

Yet the wider picture as related by Yossi Melman is:

“What is happening on the part of the nationalistic messianic Right with the backing, winking or silence of ministers and MKs of the Right is a “putsch”. The youth coming down from the hills of the ‘State of Judah’ to act with the same violent methods – used against the Palestinians – (but now) are being used against the state of Israel. MK Limor Son Har-Malech (Otzma Yehudit) said: “The people of Israel will fight against enemies from outside and enemies who try to destroy us at home” [those such as the Advocate General seeking to investigate the torture being practiced Sde Teiman]. The concept of the knife in the back and the betrayal at home echoes the voices in Germany after WWII”. [Should be WW1.]

Again, overlooked but not in the news: The situation at Sde Teiman was widely-known and said to be “more horrific than anything we’ve heard about Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo”. A UN report has detailed how Palestinians arbitrarily detained faced torture and mistreatment. The vigilantes from the settlements nevertheless described those committing the anal rape as “heroes” – and cast the IDF investigators as fifth columnists. Reports suggest that the perpetrators at Sde Teiman enjoy high level protection.

This account of systematic torture followed earlier revelations that the Israeli army had marked tens of thousands of Gazans as suspects for assassination, using an AI targeting system, called Lavender, with little human oversight and a permissive policy for casualties.

In the same vein, Right wing Cabinet ministers celebrated the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on social media Wednesday morning, as: “This is the right way to purge the world of this filth”, Heritage Minister Amichay Eliyahu, a member of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s far-right Otzma Yehudit party, tweeted:

“No more imaginary ‘peace’/surrender agreements, no more mercy for these dead men walking. The iron fist that will strike them is the one that will bring quiet and a modicum of comfort, and strengthen our ability to live in peace with those who seek peace. Haniyeh’s death makes the world a slightly better place”.

What then is this ‘truth’ that the West ignores and silences reality, whilst amplifying its narrative frauds? It is that the Israel which they presume to understand is now something very different. And that it has an epistemology at odds with mechanistic rationalism.

An eschatological Right-wing cult now holds the majority in cabinet – and wields a vigilante militia ready to attack the military establishment, and the Israeli state. No one was arrested for the attack and take-over of the two bases. They do not dare.

Moshe “Bogie” Ya’alon, former Chief of Staff of the IDF, who also served as Israel’s Defence Minister, had this to say in a video interview on the forces taking over in Israel:

“When you talk about Smotrich and Ben Gvir: They have a Rabbi. His name is Dov Lior. He is the Rabbi of the Jewish Underground, who intended to blow up the Dome of the Rock – and before that the buses in Jerusalem. Why? In order to hurry up the ‘Last War’. Do you [not] hear them talking in terms of the Last War; or of Smotrich’s concept of ‘subjugation’? Read the article he published in Shiloh in 2017. First of all, this concept rests on Jewish supremacy: Mein Kampf in reverse”.

“My hair stands on end when I say that – as he said it. I learned and grew up in the house of Holocaust survivors and ‘never again’. It is Mein Kampf in reverse: Jewish supremacy: and therefore [Smotrich] says: “My wife won’t go into a room with an Arab”. It is anchored in ideology. And then actually what he aspires to – as soon as possible – is to go to a big war. A war of Gog and Magog. How do you start the flames? A massacre like the [1994] Cave of the Patriarchs? Baruch Goldstein is a student of this Rabbi. Ben Gvir has hung up Goldstein’s picture [in his house]”.

“This is what goes into the decision-making process in the Israeli government”.

Rabbi Dov Lior has been described by Netanyahu as the “élite unit that leads Israel”, because of his influence and control over the settler forces. The 1948 Irgun, drawing heavily on the Mizrahim, is being reborn?

Isn’t it time that the western ruling structures raised their eyes from their reverie, and read the runes that manifest all around them? Some serious players don’t think as you westerners do; they seek Gog and Magog (the prophecy that “the children of Israel” will be victorious in the battle of Armageddon). That is what you risk. [Bolded Italics My Emphasis.]

(For the record, Ya’alon’s cited words above would usually be bolded, but I wanted it to be made clear that Crooke was emphasizing them too.)

A mostly hidden factor affecting what will ensue is the Zionists open alignment with the Ukrainian Nazis and their use of terrorism and haw that’s greatly affected the Zionists’s relations with Russia, which as I’ve explained before has a constitutional duty to defend Russians wherever they reside, which is why Russia has such a close relationship with Occupied Palestine. But such protection has limits, and the Russian government is well aware of the deterioration in relations. With that in mind and Russia’s (and China’s) alliance with Iran, besides the EW system I would think perhaps S-500 systems specifically to prevent any nuclear capable jet from getting within striking distance of Iran. However, I doubt any offensive weapons will be provided as Iran has plenty of its own. And in Moscow, ongoing talks at the MFA with regional ambassadors is virtually nonstop: Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Syria got public recognition via MFA’s website, but other backchannel conversations surely occurred. Today Putin met with the heads of Russia’s Legislature to talk about the last parliamentary session that just concluded; but when the cameras were off, I’m certain what Russia’s doing and might do further was discussed. The last formal meeting of Russia’s Security Council was on 2 August.

IMO, little more needs to be written by me about the Zionist’s Nazi nature, that Zionist ideology has always been Hitleresque—and before Hitler. Not well known or understood because the facts were immediately buried is that Occupied Palestine is a Terrorist State from its outset—it was made possible by terrorists who then became the leading members of what’s always been a Terrorist State when it comes to the treatment of those it was supposed to SHARE Palestine. The Outlaw US Empire saved Nazism in Western Ukraine and brought thousands of Nazis to the Western Hemisphere in the years after WW2, plus it sanitized Japanese Fascists and put them in charge of Korea and Taiwan. The Empire and its UK assistant—despite the latter bearing the brunt of Zionist Terrorism—facilitated what is essentially a Nazi state in West Asia for the control of the region’s hydrocarbon wealth. IMO, given its overt behavior and what we know of its covert behavior, we must conclude the Outlaw US Empire is also a Nazi-like organization well concealed by “Friendly Fascism,” but constantly showing its true face by its actions, and especially its primary doctrines: The Wolfowitz Doctrine and its mate Full Spectrum Dominance, where all are to be subjugated—EXCEPT—the Zionists. Their Genocide is rewarded with 58 standing ovations in the Empire’s Congress. That ought to tell the Global Majority exactly what the Outlaw US Empire is and what must be done with it—there can be no compromise with Nazism, just as there can be no compromise with Zionism as they are one and the same. Will Judge Napolitano and his crew of guests agree with my conclusion? And what about the Gym’s readers? What further evidence is required?

And now for The Cradle article, “Resistance Axis: a calculated, simultaneous strike on Israel:”

West Asia stands on a knife’s edge as the region’s Axis of Resistance prepares to retaliate against a series of recent Israeli assassinations and aggressions.

Iran, Hezbollah, and Yemen’s Ansarallah-aligned armed forces have vowed to make the occupation state pay a heavy price following the targeted killing of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and Hezbollah senior commander Fuad Shukr in southern Beirut.

Additionally, Israel bombed the Hodeidah port in Yemen following Sanaa’s successful ‘Yafa’ drone operation in Tel Aviv on 19 July.

An official from the Lebanese resistance has informed The Cradle that “The response will come at once from Iran, Hezbollah, and Yemen,” adding that the goal was to “inflict a painful blow to Israel which may not be achieved should separate retaliations be pursued.”

    Executing the ‘Unity of Fronts’

Retaliation is all but certain and could happen within hours, according to senior US officials. A report yesterday by Axios claims that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken informed his G7 counterparts that the response could begin as early as within the next 24 hours.

Just yesterday, Ali al-Qahoum, a member of the political bureau of Ansarallah, emphasized that the response to Israel will not just come from Tehran:

We affirm our commitment to the battle, steadfastness, awareness, honor, and pride in standing with Palestine, the cause of the nation.

The critical question now is the scope and severity of the retaliation. Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has promised a painful yet calculated blow to Tel Aviv. During Shukr’s funeral procession, Nasrallah warned that Israel had crossed the line, promising “a real and well-calculated response” – distinct from the cross-border operations Hezbollah has conducted against Israel since 8 October.

    Flattening the Iron Dome

Other well-informed sources agree that the response could be coordinated, suggesting that retaliation from multiple fronts simultaneously is likely. They tell The Cradle that such an approach could take Israel’s primary air defense system, the Iron Dome, out of commission by preventing it from rapidly rearming. They believe this is achievable given Hezbollah’s capacity to launch a significant barrage of missiles and given Lebanon’s geographical proximity to potential Israeli targets.

These assessments appear to be consistent with those made by US officials who have warned that the Iron Dome could be overwhelmed by Hezbollah’s missile and drone arsenal should a full-scale war erupt.

Senior US military officials, meanwhile, have gone on the record cautioning that Washington would probably be unable to provide Tel Aviv with sufficient protection even in a single front, full-scale war with Hezbollah. US Joint Chief of Staff Charles Brown said as much in his remarks to the press in late June.

From our perspective, based on where our forces are, the short-range between Lebanon and Israel, it’s harder for us to be able to support them [Israel] in the same way we did in April [with Operation Truthful Promise].

Unwilling US support for Tel Aviv

Although much has been said about the US and its allies successfully thwarting Iran’s response to the Israeli attack on its consulate last April, it is noteworthy that all targeted Israeli military bases were hit during the Iranian retaliatory strikes. Operation Truthful Promise was intended more as a message, indicating that Tehran would no longer tolerate Israeli aggression against its interests.

US military reinforcements in the region may help intercept missiles and drones coming from Lebanon, while vassal state Jordan could also play a part as it did during Iran’s retaliatory strikes. However, this also makes US military assets and those of its partners legitimate targets for the Resistance Axis.

As former Pentagon analyst Michael Maloof explains to The Cradle:

Hezbollah would likely target US warships in the region that would take part in intercepting missiles directed at Israeli targets.

“As in 2006, I envision US involvement focused more on evacuating many of the 86,000 Americans now in Lebanon who would want to leave,” adds Maloof.

Washington’s top military officials also appear firmly opposed to being drawn into an active offensive role should a wider war erupt with Hezbollah, let alone a dreaded multi-front war. This stance is supported by statements from US Joint Chiefs of Staff Charles Brown, indicating the Pentagon’s limited willingness to protect the occupation state.

Note that Washington’s pledges to defend Israel have made no mention of potential offensive action, reflecting an American desire to avoid a wider war. Experts doubt the US will become heavily involved in any full-scale war, supported by public statements underscoring the importance of avoiding regional escalation – and voiced more privately, the desire to keep US military targets safe from retaliatory strikes.

    Military risk and political calculations

As Brown said at the time, Washington’s main message is:

To think about the second order of effect of any type of operation into Lebanon, and how that might play out and how it impacts not just the region, but how it impacts our forces in regions as well.

The general – the most senior ranking US military official and the senior military advisor to the White House – was delivering a message that carries special significance amidst the recent developments.

By stating that an Israeli-initiated war on Lebanon put US troops at risk, Brown was essentially saying that a wider regional war was not seen as helping US interests by the Pentagon’s top brass.

Given these statements, it remains possible – though far from guaranteed – that the outgoing Biden administration may rein in Israel regardless of how painful a blow is delivered to it by the Axis of Resistance.

The upcoming US election in November is another factor that may prevent a regional conflagration. “The US getting more militarily involved with Israel,” warns Maloof, “would lead to riots in the streets of Chicago at the Democratic Convention later this month.”

These realities suggest a scenario where Washington might force Tel Aviv to absorb the Axis of Resistance’s retaliation, however severe it may be. [Bolded Italics My Emphasis]

The Outlaw US Empire’s political signals differ from what its military is saying. We know key weapons stocks are low for both Zionists and the Empire. The new complement of USN assets will boost what can be done from the sea until they become depleted and need to retire for their own safety. Also, after last April’s attack by Iran, Jordanian bases are now targets. Any USN vessel inside Persian Gulf that uses it AD systems to defend the Zionists will become a target; so, if the Empire doesn’t want a wider war it will need to remove such assets. Anticipation of the defense scheme affects the plan of attack.

The above map shows where the main actors are placed in the region. A multilayered, multi-vectored, synchronously timed attack from the four actors would be difficult to plan but even harder to defend against for there are an almost endless number of possibilities. One major question mark is, What will the Saudi’s do? Another, What will the Iraqis allow? In the latter, will there be active combat between Iraqi and Imperial forces that attempt to defend the Zionists that might grow into an attempt to forcibly eject all illegal Imperial forces? Yes, there’re many what ifs involved in the equation. And the last question: How long will the assault last? I’m prepared for it to last several days, to the point where all AD assets are used, and all Zionist and Imperial targets are exposed. Another question; What does Iran consider a legitimate target? The Knesset with all its Zionazis? The Ministry of Defense most certainly. What about known radical “settler” sites that IMO cannot be considered civilian? When what Crooke has revealed in his many essays and chats, the whole space of Occupied Palestine ought to be considered a target since its filled with Zionist/Nazi Genocidalists who differ none from Hitlerite Nazi Germans, or is that painting with too wide a brush?

And a Zionist attempt to nuke Iran must also be taken very seriously, which the Russian’s most certainly have. Medvedev’s conclusion that the only way to end this is via a major war is likely correct since as I’ve argued force will be required to make the Zionists obey Humanity’s Laws. Is there a way to keep that from occurring, or is it destined since the evil has proclaimed itself to be non-human, superior to all other beings because it was somehow chosen? As was stated, Mein Kampf all over again.

[Bolded Italics My Emphasis.] (For the record, Ya’alon’s cited words above would usually be bolded, but I wanted it to be made clear that Crooke was emphasizing them too.) A mostly hidden factor affecting what will ensue is the Zionists open alignment with the Ukrainian Nazis and their use of terrorism and haw that’s greatly affected the Zionists’s relations with Russia, which as I’ve explained before has a constitutional duty to defend Russians wherever they reside, which is why Russia has such a close relationship with Occupied Palestine. And now for The Cradle article, “Resistance Axis: a calculated, simultaneous strike on Israel:” West Asia stands on a knife’s edge as the region’s Axis of Resistance prepares to retaliate against a series of recent Israeli assassinations and aggressions. An official from the Lebanese resistance has informed The Cradle that “The response will come at once from Iran, Hezbollah, and Yemen,” adding that the goal was to “inflict a painful blow to Israel which may not be achieved should separate retaliations be pursued.” Executing the ‘Unity of Fronts’ Retaliation is all but certain and could happen within hours, according to senior US officials. A report yesterday by Axios claims that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken informed his G7 counterparts that the response could begin as early as within the next 24 hours. Just yesterday, Ali al-Qahoum, a member of the political bureau of Ansarallah, emphasized that the response to Israel will not just come from Tehran: We affirm our commitment to the battle, steadfastness, awareness, honor, and pride in standing with Palestine, the cause of the nation. Flattening the Iron Dome Other well-informed sources agree that the response could be coordinated, suggesting that retaliation from multiple fronts simultaneously is likely. Unwilling US support for Tel Aviv Although much has been said about the US and its allies successfully thwarting Iran’s response to the Israeli attack on its consulate last April, it is noteworthy that all targeted Israeli military bases were hit during the Iranian retaliatory strikes. As former Pentagon analyst Michael Maloof explains to The Cradle: Hezbollah would likely target US warships in the region that would take part in intercepting missiles directed at Israeli targets. Military risk and political calculations As Brown said at the time, Washington’s main message is: To think about the second order of effect of any type of operation into Lebanon, and how that might play out and how it impacts not just the region, but how it impacts our forces in regions as well. “The US getting more militarily involved with Israel,” warns Maloof, “would lead to riots in the streets of Chicago at the Democratic Convention later this month.” These realities suggest a scenario where Washington might force Tel Aviv to absorb the Axis of Resistance’s retaliation, however severe it may be. [Bolded Italics My Emphasis] The Outlaw US Empire’s political signals differ from what its military is saying. * * * Like what you’ve been reading at Karlof1’s Substack? • Wahhabis/Zionist bots along with some confused pro-Palestinian accounts want me to be part of the axis of resistance but the way THEY SEE FIT. They still keep a dumb animosity for Syria in their hearts and minds.
    Yeah...NOPE.
    No..absolutely NOT.
For me this is the equation:
    Palestine= Lebanon= Syria= Iraq = Iran = Yemen.

    EQUAL.
    Point.
