It's delightful and great for the digestion to take a stroll in the afternoon, isn't it? After a few days of rain and high winds, the trees in this area were in serious trouble. Some of them broke off in pieces, like this in the first pic. I adore coming here to see birds and water around. 🥰 Surprisingly enough, despite frequently taking this path along the river for my leisurely stroll, I never noticed this massive tree, even though it is situated in a strategic place. This is the dish that my son and I prepared today. Simple but wholesome ingredients like roasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds, roasted walnuts, zucchini, spring onion, garlic, eggs, a variety of spices, and a lot of love go into making this dish. Today I had a yummy lunch with our friends! I made a special treat for them - a GF/DF/SF Banana Bread. It's super yummy and our friends loved it. But the real surprise was their little daughter, who is only 1 and a half years old. She loved it so much, she cleaned her plate with her mouth! I don't know if it was her way of saying "thank you", but she kept asking for more and more. It was so funny to see a little one enjoying a big person's food.
