One of the destinations on our #FallColorTour in #Minnesota was #TettegoucheStatePark, which doubles as a #RestStop. It sits along the shore of #LakeSuperior and has many miles of #trails for #hiking, #Skiing, #snowmobiling and includes the highest #waterfalls within the Minnesota border. I did hike out to the falls, which I'll be sharing later. This is a shot of the #BaptismRiver where it meets Lake Superior. While hiking at #DesotoBendNationalWildlifeRefuge in #WilsonIslandStatePark, I shot this video of the #sunset. It didn't turm out as colorful as I'd like, but it was worth watching. This area is on the Western border of Iowa right along the #MissouriRiver, which you see in the gif. Lucy's nose is constantly sweeping back and forth across the ground like a metal detector. We can't keep her in shape, because it's all about the scent, but never about the chase, ha ha ha. This is another one from #WarsingDam in Central #NorthDakota. Like I said before, it's one of the smallest #StateParks we have ever visited, but it's free and had what we needed. Even some #hiking and #swimming.

Since [AlphaHippie] and I posted a few photos from #WarsingDam yesterday. It's fitting I show you the accommodations. I believe it's a #StatePark, which was in pretty good condition. That being said, AH went to help a local couple jump start their vehicle and they said the place was just recently cleaned up. Even if it was overgrown when we got there, we wouldn't have minded. We rarely boondock in manicured areas and prefer it that way. Good morning #Somee and my Hive friends. Today I'm sharing my first monetized post and hopefully I get to see how things work here. I'll start by sharing a few photos from my #fallcolor tour through #minnesota a little over a week ago. These were taken in #ItaskaStatePark, which is located in the flood plain where the #mississipiriver originates. There's a 10 mile scenic drive around the park with lakes dotted throughout and so much beauty everywhere you look. Towards the end of the drive there's an old fire observation tower that gives you a full 360* view of the entire Park. If you're ever wanting to travel for a #fallcolortour, Minnesota should be on your list.
