  • Welcome to my blog.

    [Img src](https://www.news-medical.net/health/Health-and-Wealth.aspx)

As a Nigerian, choosing between long life and wealth with he current state of my country is quite tempting and confusing at the same time. It's been long I saw this topic, but I could not decide what to choose, health or wealth. I have finally made my decision, and here I am, sharing it with everyone.

I asked some persons about their take, and they told me that the choose wealth over health, and they asked me a particular question that I can't answer uptilll date and that question is: if you chose long life over wealth and live long, with which money will you fend for yourself?

This question has been ringing in my head but I just reminded myself of happiness. Happiness is the key to anything prosperous, and with happiness, one can enjoy their life with their loved ones irrespective of wether or not there is wealth.

On this note, my take on this topic is ......

*Wanna know my response to this topic? Well, Let's dive in*

Health they say is wealth, but in Nigeria, trust me, wealth is health. We have this mentality that money could buy anything, including health, and our government is proving us right. Without money, an individual is nobody in Nigeria. The price of fuel skyrocketed in just 48hrs as if fuel is now a crypto currency

    *But anyways*

Irrespective of the ups and downs, my take for this particular topic is...........

    *Here we go*

I choose health over wealth. I prefer to healthily live long and be happy with the little I have than to die young.

Long life has its own advantages trust me. I will love to live long and see my great grand children play in my parlour, I will love to watch over them while they are sleeping and I will love to tell them stories of my life encounters.

My grand parents died before I knew it and as such, I grew up without knowing who they are. I would not want that for my grandchildren, so, I will love to live long and let them ask me different questions about life, while I answer. I have tons of questions I was to ask my grandparents but, well, I didn't meet them.

There is no doubt, I love money... Yes, I really love money because with money comes power and with power comes control over everything, and I would want to be as powerful as ever, but what is the use of the power when I will die young and would not get the chance of enjoying my life to the fullest? Thinking of this topic, I have come to realize that money is not everything, and trust me, the fact that I will be wealthy wouldn't mean that I would not need anything again... Even the rich and wealthy, will always ask for something.

For me, there is no need for being wealthy when I could enjoy the rest of my life with my loved ones.

Thank you for stopping by my blog.

I hope to see you next time.

  • Isolation, Capability & Inclusion

Never isolate people from society and never think they are unworthy or incapable. It is these very people who bring a smile on peoples faces the most and bring flowers to the paths that were once grey.

Respect and value every person irrespective of their age, accent, ethnicity, health, capacity and capabilities.

In this blog post, I will be talking about how I will describe a smartphone to a person from the 60's.

*Let's get into the context shall we?*

Describing a smartphone to someone from the 60s will be amazing. The person describing it to them will be seen like a god in a human's body.

To begin with, let's assume that the audience are from he 60's and I am the person doing the description. *(apologies if you didn't like the: "assuming the audience are from the 60's)*

The smartphone is a rectangular piece of well organized and upgraded electronic gadget made using both metal and plastic.
    ![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmUh9zTSaotQCT1DqtoQrooTxhZCxfRCJs1R6bv3zVnQ1c/pexels_photo_47261.jpeg)
    [Img src](https://www.pexels.com/photo/silver-samsung-smartphone-47261/)

It has different sizes ranging from small, medium to big. It has a screen where you can see the activities in it, and it has a speaker used for listening to the audio output of the smartphone. It also has an internet connection, making it easier for you to browse and explore the world with one click.

The smartphone is powered by a battery that could last a whole day when fully charged and it is being charged by electricity though. It has its own charger meant for it.

It has an inbuilt touch light that you can use to see at night, in dark places.

It has a back and front camera that you can use to take a picture of yourself and still store it in the smart phone without worry of the picture getting spoilt by water or something.

It has a document storage space, and as such, you don't need to worry about your document being lost, stollen, eaten by rats or spoilt by rain or something.

The smartphone allows you to check the time world wide, set alarms and reminders.

The smart phone has cool features that allows it's user feel like a god in the land of humans.

The smartphone as it name implies is a phone that encompasses the imagination of humans irrespective of the fact hat it was made by humans. It enables you talk directly to your relative and friends where ever and when ever you want no matter the distance, in few minutes, without the need for sending letters through post offices that takes months to reach its destination.

Everything has been installed into this smartphone, including music player, video player as well as sending messages with mini seconds. Yes, mini seconds. What's more fun? You can play games on it too.. *yes, you heard me right, Games.* You can relax with the smartphone and there is no need of going to the stadium to watch Man united Vs Chelsea soccer match, because you can watch the match online with just your smart phone.. *interesting yeah?* That's not all, with the smart phone, you can watch your favourite videos at any time you want.

    *That's still not all*

Everyday, we work 9 to 5 without rest and it's really stressful and very much exhausting, well, you can kiss those days goodbye because with the smart phone, you can work from home.. *yes, work from he comfort of your couch* and get paid handsomely.

*I know you like the sound of that*

It has a lot of features that you can't even imagine and all these things have been packed into one gadget.

There are a whole lot of things packed into this gadget, making it a god-like artifact.

Hope you really enjoyed you tour through the smartphone?

    Thank you for reading.

I hope to see you next time.

The far right in Israel has been deciding who is Jewish and who isn’t for too long now.
It’s time that all streams of Judaism get full recognition and respect. It doesn’t make sense that my mom is not considered a rabbi in Israel. Israel’s current government continues distancing world Jewry and this will have consequences for Israel’s foreign policy

Outside this country, Nigeria, people complain of police brutality and they brag of how honest their armed forces are but in Nigeria, it is worst.

    *WELCOME TO NIGERIA MY COUNTRY*

The forces are meant to protect the people of a given locality against themselves and foreign invaders and this responsibility is first in their life, however in my country, things aren't how they seem.

I have an experience with some police people in Abiriba and to be honest, after that day, I prefer jungle justice to submitting criminals to police irrespective of the fact that jungle justice is illegal. Jungle justice basically means taking the laws into your hands and passing out punishment.

HAVE YOU EVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE WITH A MEMBER OF THE FORCE?

I have had an experience with the force and it was not funny, to be honest.

After that day, I became very much angered at the sight of any police force and I preferred taking laws into my hands.

    WHAT LED TO THE ALTERCATION?

Few months ago, I was in my lodge relaxing on a weekend, then I decided to go to a phone charging center to plug my phone. When I was passing through my school, I noticed that our school gardener was being beaten by the students and when I asked why, they told me that the guy stole from them.

They said that he went into the boys hostel and stole the phones and power banks of the hostel dwellers. When I asked why he (the gardener) was the primary suspect, they told me that he brought in a new face into the school a day before the theft, and the gardener was going round the school and he even entered the girls hostel. Then they said that they saw a students power bank in his possession which he wrapped with a labour party flyer, and he claimed that it was his brothers own, but a student confirmed ownership of the power bank through the aid of the power banks receipt after unwrapping it.

A civil defence officer saw what was happening and intervened, the officer said that we should take him to the police station, which we did. On our way to the police station, some persons in including me was kicking against the action, but I couldn't stop him because he is an officer and our home sister agreed to take the gardener to be police station.

When we got there, the police was always saying "pay this, pay that" and the police men and women started their "protocols," saying that we should do some paper works and write down police statement which we did. The victim testified to the police in how the thing went and why he was the primary suspect but what the police said was that "we should go back to school, they will come to school to check us, and still do their investigation."

When they said this, I knew something was off, so I collect the number of their A.S.P. I called him in the evening of that day same day, I called the ASP to remind him of their coming but what he told me was that his boys was not around, they went to another movement, and they will be with me shortly. I said okay, and then I ended the call.

I allowed him for that day, and I called him the next day, but he told me that he was busy, and will call me back later... What I told him was: if nothing is done by the police, we the students will go for a protest and carry out jungle justice if the gardener is released without provider the lost phones and power banks. After saying that, the ASP of police said that I should calm down, they have things under control.

    *Enjoying it yeah?*

    *Okay, let's ride on*

    HOW WAS IT SETTLED?

After all trials and error with the police, the information we heard from our home sister was that the gardener was placed on bail out. When we heard this, we became very mad at the home sister and threatened to do what was on our mind but the home sister was begging us to calm down.

*Look at me flaring up, but none of my stuff was stolen*

Anyways, I was Soo disappointed in the police and I couldn't bring my self to call the ASP of police. My morale quenched when our principal called us and begged us to calm down and forget about things which we did to respect her and the image of nursing.

With this my experience, I resorted to believing in jungle justice but I know I can't hurt a fly though. I was sooo, bittered that the gardener was not brought to justice but instead, the police was only interested in the bail money.

• "No piece of art has ever emotionally affected me the way this robot arm piece has. It's programmed to try to contain the hydraulic fluid that’s constantly leaking out and required to keep itself running...if too much escapes, it will die so it's desperately trying to pull it back to continue to fight for another day. Saddest part is they gave the robot the ability to do these 'happy dances' to spectators. When the project was first launched it danced around spending most of its time interacting with the crowd since it could quickly pull back the small spillage. Many years later... (as you see it now in the photo) it looks tired and hopeless as there isn't enough time to dance anymore.. It now only has enough time to try to keep itself alive as the amount of leaked hydraulic fluid became unmanageable as the spill grew over time. Living its last days in a never-ending cycle between sustaining life and simultaneously bleeding out... (Figuratively and literally as its hydraulic fluid was purposefully made to look like it's actual blood).
"The robot arm finally ran out of hydraulic fluid in 2019, slowly came to a halt and died - And I am now tearing up over a friggin robot arm It was programmed to live out this fate and no matter what it did or how hard it tried, there was no escaping it. Spectators watched as it slowly bled out until the day that it ceased to move forever. Saying that 'this resonates' doesn't even do it justice imo. Created by Sun Yuan & Peng Yu, they named the piece, 'Can't Help Myself'. What a masterpiece. What a message."
Extended interpretations: the hydraulic fluid in relation to how we kill ourselves both mentally and physically for money just in an attempt to sustain life, how the system is set up for us to fail on purpose to essentially enslave us and to steal the best years of our lives to play the game that the richest people of the world have designed. How this robs us of our happiness, passion and our inner peace. How we are slowly drowning with more responsibilities, with more expected of us, less rewarding pay-offs and less free time to enjoy ourselves with as the years go by. How there's really no escaping the system and that we were destined at birth to follow a pretty specific path that was already laid out before us. How we can give and give and give and how easily we can be forgotten after we've gone.. How we are loved and respected when we are valuable, then one day we aren't any longer and we become a burden...and how our young, free-caring spirit gets stolen from us as we get churned out of the broken system that we are trapped inside of. Can also be seen to represent the human life cycle and the fact that none of us make it out of this world alive. But also can act as a reminder to allow yourself to heal, rest and love with all of your heart. That the endless chase for 'more' isn't necessary in finding your own inner happiness.”

  • INTRODUCTION

Greetings everyone and welcome to my post.

The world has been automated in he sense that everything these days can be gotten with just a click. Pressing a button could destroy a country and pressing a button could also repair a country.

Humans have passed through many stages throughout existence and this stage is another phase in the history of humans which have made us digitalized and powerful. Everything could be accomplished with just a phone, that's how far technology has gotten us.

Apps are one important aspect in the era of technological development as it helps make things very much easier, faster, as well as it entertains us and help us meet new people. Through apps, we could order things only while sitting on our couch, we could sponsor anything of our choice and we could work from home, just as how hive have made it easier for us.

Before I go into answering the first question of this contest, I am a person who loves charity. Irrespective of how bad I can be, I don't play with helping others in any way I can and that's why I am a nurse. Nurses are great, but "with great power comes great responsibility."

    WHAT APP WILL YOU CREATE?

If I were to create an app, I will create an app which will be used for affiliating the importance of charity and in that app, there will be a space for charitable donations.
    Yeah

    WHY THAT PARTICULAR APP?

    Img src
I have been opportuned to live in the northern and eastern part of Nigeria my country and well, from the things I have seen so far, I wouldn't want the nation to continue like that. There was a day I was walking through the streets of Jabi in Abuja Nigeria, the homeless people I saw there made me motivated to become great in life. Not that I am dodging from being like them, but because I want to help being out some of those persons from the streets, and impact my values and views about charity in them, so that they can carry on with it and still bring other persons from the streets and still impact that same value to them and so on.
On this note, charity is hard these days because of distance, and some other factor. However, making use of the importance of technology, donations could reach even the deepest forest through this app and many people will be happy and lead a good life filled with joy. Charity could be in any form, but financial charity backed up with teaching a new skill, could take a person to the farthest extent there is.

WHAT GOOD WILL THE APP DO?

This app will go on its way to fund diverse charity organizations into moving and helping many unprivileged people out there.

    Img src
In my country, the rate of unemployment is as high as the sands of the beach, but with this app, both skills and financial charity could be rendered to many people out there, thus reducing the rate of corruption and joblessness, thereby increasing the rate of self employment and employment as a whole.
In conclusion, Charity could help uplift a nation, according to Darrman, "the kindness you out into the world, has a way of returning to you" and as such, putting a little kindness into this world, will help in its way to elevate the positivity in a persons heart, thereby reducing future negativities.
    Thank you for reading through.
Please, I will love to use this medium to invite us to a Hive growth initiative(HGI) organized by boss @bitcoinman.

Put in the effort, take a deep breath, sip that cup of coffee and let God handle the rest

It's finally the Weekend, Sun is Shining, Flowers have bloomed, Birds are singing and SoMee newsfeed is calling - That seems to me a wonderful day.. Enjoy!

  • Feed what's good for you, so that you don't become physically harmful to someone around you..

Jealousy, anger, resentment arrogance that overtakes to then become physical upon arrival through the door and continuous, when they just lost their parent and longed for their spouse.

This world and it's people are an utter disappointment and shame to humanity. Hurting someone is hurting God and his creation.

May God guide the misguided and open the eyes of those who have veiled them
