Hello SoMee, for my first post I'd like to show off and explain the photo I used as my avatar. First off, the #BaldEagle is the #NationalBird of my country the #UnitedStates. Growing up we were taught this fact and most every other one about this majestic creature. The main one being that it was going extinct. We didn't have any around where I lived and had only ever seen them on TV living in remote places far away from me. So they seemed to be more of a myth. It was only after moving away and the conservation efforts being made to bring them back finding success that I saw one in person for the first time. It was a whole #Pride migrating through one Spring, which left me in awe. One day I was driving home just after purchasing my first higher end camera that I saw this guy and had to stop to take some shots. He took no notice of me while I framed as many shots as I could and this was only one of two that turned out usable. I'm quite proud of these shots, even with the overcast skies in the background. On top of that, a good majority of my posts will be shots I've taken of a variety of animals photographed in the wild. I hope you enjoy them and it's a pleasure meeting you.
