• National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir says his priority as the Jerusalem Pride Parade starts is to ensure there is not another “crazy” incident like the 2015 murder of Shira Banki.

“It is clear that in my role as national security minister, I do and will do everything so that there will not be a crazy case, like the murder of the girl Shira Banki,” says the far-right minister as he arrives at the police command to oversee security for the march.

Ben Gvir also reiterates his support for a counter-protest to the march.

“That’s their right as long as they don’t break the law and I told the police that I don’t want to see pictures of ultra-Orthodox or religious people who walk the streets of Jerusalem and are kicked off the streets because they are religious, because they wear a kippah or because they wear skirts,” he says.

The Jerusalem Pride Parade is the subject of heavy security and restrictions after an ultra-Orthodox extremist, Yishai Schlissel, stabbed Banki to death at the parade in 2015. Schlissel carried out the attack just a few weeks after he was released from prison after serving 10 years for stabbing and injuring marchers at the 2005 parade. He is currently serving life in prison

I almost forgot today's HIVE Power Up Day. I think this is because I failed to do a daily power-up since the day we went to Punta, Rizal. Thanks to #threads and to @luckyali's post. After being reminded, I immediately powered up 10 $HIVE.
As you can see below, I failed to continue my daily tasks participating in the HIVE PUM:

Despite my failure in doing daily HIVE power-ups, the % reduction in my HP growth is not so significant. I think this is because I was able to post one article on Splinterlands Social Media Challenge and three articles on LeoFinance due to the ongoing Zealy campaign.

  • Following is an excerpt from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks, this evening at the state ceremony for Jerusalem Day, at Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem:
"Despite the threats, and I would say, because of the threats, I directed that the flag march be held with the participation of thousands, properly and along its customary route.

We dealt heavy blows on those who attacked us in the Gaza Strip and I believe that the message was received and not just by them, but in other places in our region as well, that saw the impressive operational capabilities of the State of Israel.

And if an additional reminder proves necessary to restore deterrence – it will also come. We have changed the equation."

  • Following are Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks at the start of the festive Cabinet today, which was held in the Western Wall Tunnels, in honor of Jerusalem, and at which several decisions were made to develop and strengthen the city:

"Several days ago, Abu Mazen told the UN that the Jewish People have no links to the Temple Mount and that eastern Jerusalem is part of the Palestinian Authority. Therefore, and to get his attention, today we are holding a special Cabinet meeting in honor of Jerusalem Day at the foot of the Temple Mount upon which King Solomon built the First Temple of the Jewish People, and which is – again to get Abu Mazen's attention – the heart of the historical State of Israel, the City of David, and has been here for 3,000 years.

The deep ties between the Jewish People and Jerusalem is one that has no parallel among the nations. Jerusalem was our capital around 1,100 years before London became the capital of England, approximately 1,800 years before Paris became the capital of France and around 2,800 years before Washington DC became the capital of the US. For over 100 generations, Jews expressed their special yearning for Jerusalem in prayers that are repeated three times a day and under the wedding canopy.

Fifty-six years ago, in the Six Day War, we unified Jerusalem. But I must say that the fight for its unity has not ended. Time and again, my friends and I have been forced to repel international pressure on the part of those who would divide Jerusalem again, and by prime ministers of Israel who were prepared to give in to those pressures, and were even prepared to concede the Jewish People's holiest places.

We have acted differently. Not only have we not divided Jerusalem, we have built and expanded it. I am proud to have had the great privilege of building new neighborhoods in Jerusalem, such as Har Homa, Givat Hamatos and Maaleh Hazeitim, in which tens of thousands of Israelis live. We did all this together in the face of great international pressure. We stood against these pressures.

I am proud that the governments we have headed have led great expansion and development in all parts of the city, western and eastern, on behalf of its residents. I am proud that we have brought about American recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and the transfer of the US and other embassies to the capital – and our hand is still extended.

I promise you that more embassies will be transferred to Jerusalem and it will not take a very long time. But the work is not over and the challenge is yet before us. There are still those who want to divide Jerusalem and they say so openly. There are those who proclaim their loyalty to the united Jerusalem but are not really prepared to fight for it at the moment of truth. Only the national camp led by us will safeguard a strong and united Jerusalem, just as we are safeguarding our security and national pride.

And therefore, on behalf of our security, our future and the unity of Jerusalem, we must continue to maintain our government, that of the national camp. You all see the difference.

Just one year ago, here in the heart of Jerusalem, we saw a disgraceful scene. Two Jewish youths hastened to take Israeli flags off their car. They had stopped at a traffic light and there was concern that a procession of Palestinians, that was protesting opposite them and waving PLO flags in the heart of Jerusalem, could injure them, like many others; we were also outraged by this.

We promised to restore our national honor – and I am keeping our promise. We did this last week with the flag march which wound its way proudly through the streets of our capital, and in Operation Shield and Arrow, which changed the equation with Islamic Jihad.

Of course, in order to continue maintaining our national government, we must pass the state budget. You know that I have a little experience in this matter, having passed almost 20 state budgets, and I can tell you that there are always last minute arguments. I believe that we will overcome them and pass the budget.

We will pass a responsible budget one of the goals of which is to equalize conditions between a haredi child to those of a secular child. Haredi children do not need to receive less than secular or religious children because a haredi child is not half a child. No Jew needs to hear the antisemitic incitement on the television channels, or see shameful caricatures in the biased media, which copy the anti-Semitic propaganda that our people has known in its darker periods. The fact is that under our government we have succeeded in integrating the Haredi sector in the labor market more than all other governments – and this we will continue to do.

This government was elected to serve out its days; therefore, I am certain that in the coming days we will bridge all of the gaps and continue to work together on behalf of all citizens of Israel, and Jerusalem.

Indeed, today the government will approve budgets for the development of the Old City and the strengthening of all of Jerusalem. We will upgrade infrastructure in the Western Wall plaza and we will improve transportation services. I have specially requested that attention be given to completing the ring road (the eastern ring road and the northern American highway), this will be major news as the great transportation news that we have brought, great news in Jerusalem and not just in Jerusalem. We will expand educational activity for children, soldiers and students and we will encourage visits to the amazing Western Wall where are now meeting.

These decisions join what we have already done on behalf of our capital. Several years ago, we initiated and began the excavation of the wonderful Har Nof tunnels and today tens of thousands of drivers use them daily. At the same time, we are extending the light rail in the city from Gilo in the south to Ramot in the north.

The quarter at the entrance to the city is being built. We all pass by it daily and see it progressing. This will give a major push to commerce, employment, housing, culture and recreation. I note that hundreds of high-tech companies are already active in Jerusalem, and we are moving forward with new initiatives to build housing.

In the coming years, we will also advance an innovative enterprise – the cable car to the Western Wall, which will allow for easier access to the area of the Western Wall and the City of David. I am certain that riding on it will be a unique and special experience for both Israelis and overseas tourists. As a Jerusalemite from the age of two days, because I was born in Tel Aviv and arrived in Jerusalem at the age of two days, I remember Jerusalem and it is changing daily. It has wonderful things that do not change but there are also great and powerful changes that are bursting with momentum, imagination and hope.

I would like to thank all government ministers for joining in to benefit Jerusalem, but especially Jerusalem Affairs Minister Meir Porush, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, Mayor Moshe Lion, who is continuing the energetic work of his predecessor, Minister Nir Barkat

In contrast to what Abu Mazen said several days ago, we were here thousands of years ago and will still be here thousands of years from now.

A Happy Shavuot to the people of Israel, a happy festival to Jerusalem, the eternal united capital of the State of Israel."

After the 30th of April when the zealy.io campaign was launched, LeoFinance is taking a great move that I could hardly catch up on during the first few days. I had no idea what was going on. Grateful to @libertycrypto27's article that somehow explained to me in simple terms what the campaign is all about.
After 15 days, I didn't expect to be included in the list of top 10 threaders:
    ![02-Threads Leaderboard.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/rzc24-nftbbg/23tHZX6g7rX5ddVd8HLPPcyPejNi6Yrb5FqMTM3pGRpGy2mi1WpnT5SCEkH482u369pKv.png)
    [Source](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Qbt_lbeyfSn-Bn3cPHjIpDMrbUcRtAaBPJVkj-YfqnU/edit#gid=0)
As for the zealy.io leaderboard, I suffered a huge drop back to # 60 due to my inactivity for the last two days. I failed to complete the assigned quests.
Overall, except for the above setback, I am satisfied with my performance. We still have 26 days in this campaign and a lot of surprises can happen along the way.
Shifting to my participation in today's #LPUD, four days ago, I sold 1,129 #CENT and 445.97 #CTP to buy 71.9 $LEO. Due to such a purchase, I was able to achieve the 300 LEO monthly target.
Today is my 11th time participating in #LPUD and the fifth consecutive month this year that I have been powering up 300 LEO. The goal is to reach the CUB status by the end of the year with 5,000 LEO Power.
    ![01-LPUD May.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/rzc24-nftbbg/23tbRGFN3JbsxdhrMtaFZRuQej4ZhFzz1Uhkd7yHvRAXuT4oQQ2Vgi4owWCHnGhp5r3L8.png)
As I write this post, two hours already passed in #LPUD. As usual, I have been early in publishing my post I think for the past three months.
Just a minute ago, I powered up 300 LEO.
    ![03-300 LEO.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/rzc24-nftbbg/23yxGhCUNqzzgMd5LMqxFbRqEhzyQwCbATEWZpS1KBC2bzaCLooUuVtYu4V1B1NayhiSc.png)
I now have 2,906 staked LEO and 26.59 liquid LEO in my wallet. By the next #LPUD, I will reach 3,000 plus LEO Power. Here is now the new status of my LEO power:

Again, it's my prayer and I hope that I can sustain this growth in the following months.
Happy threading and an enjoyable #LPUD to everyone and more power to the LeoFinance community!

I now have 2,906 staked LEO and 26.59 liquid LEO in my wallet. By the next #LPUD, I will reach 3,000 plus LEO Power. Here is now the new status of my LEO power:

Today is Labor Day. There is no class here in the Philippines. But one church is celebrating its anniversary. I was asked to be one of the judges at their event. While waiting, I am taking this opportunity to write and publish for today's HIVE Power Up Day (HPUD).
I almost forgot about this activity. My mind has been preoccupied with what's going on with the LeoFinance campaign. After completing one quest, I powered up 10 HIVE.
Today is the 1st of May. Until now, I haven't written a single post for the Splinterlands weekly challenges. 11th January was the last article I made. Such inactivity affected the growth of my Hive account.
Nevertheless, despite the decline in my HIVE accumulation, I am trying my best with the aid of my savings to hit next the 3,000 HIVE Power. My goal by the end of the year is 5,616 HP to reach that Dolphin status.
What is different this time is that I haven't received a notification yet from @hivebuzz. Maybe, because this post is too early.
While waiting for that notification, allow me to share with you the slow but steady growth of my HIVE Power:

So in today's PUD, my HP growth in terms of percentage suffers a huge drop from 9.50% to 5.90%. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with my cumulative growth of 72.17%.
Within two to three months, I hope to achieve my 3,000 HP goal to contribute to the transition to Dolphin status.

  • The Battle On The River Neretva - Battle For The Wounded WWII
On the way between Sarajevo and Mostar, in the city of Jablanica we visited a unique museum and locality.
It is called Museum of the Battle for the Wounded at Neretva and is a reminder on one of the most famous battles in World War II. It was also one of the most unlikely victories as well as the trickiest war maneuvers!

The battle is simply called „The Battle on the river Neretva“. The museum is located in the center of the city, next to a blown-up bridge, which is a symbol of this battle. The bridge represents its most important exhibit and it is very special for people from this city. It reminds them of the heroic battle and the victory that they, their fathers and grandfathers, have won.

„The Battle on the river Neretva “, also known under a German code name „Fall Weiss“, was the strategic plan of The Axis forces against the Yugoslav partisan movement on today’s territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The attacks began on January 20th, 1943, and partisans were largely outnumbered in it. The Axis forces had 127 000 soldiers, strong artillery, tanks, and 15 warplanes, comparing to partisan’s 18 000 soldiers. Axis’ strong attacks started in north-western Bosnia and part of today’s Croatia, and partisans were forced to retreat. They pulled back all the way to south-east, to the river Neretva. On their way, they carried almost 4 000 wounded soldiers with them! That’s why this battle is often called „The most human battle in WW II“. Even now, if you visit Jablanica, you will see the sign „We cannot leave the wounded“, words of the president of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito.

After Tito’s orders, partisans destroyed all the bridges behind them. When everyone expected partisans will head north, and not east across Neretva, Tito ordered destroying the railway bridge in Jablanica. Which they did, and while the train was crossing it! That was a bold and tricky decision, which nobody expected, especially The Axis forces. They deployed all their troops up north, in the valley of river Vrbas, waiting for partisans.

After blowing up the bridge, a new and improvised wooden bridge was built in only 19 hours, and it was a salvation for partisans and the wounded, after which they headed to mountain Prenj. You can still find a war memorial on Prenj dedicated to partisans who climbed this beautiful but cruel mountain. This hard battle ended on March 31st, with partisans coming out of it as winners. It went out in history as one of the most difficult battles of WWII and victories against all the odds.

The most expensive film ever made in Yugoslavia
On the place of the blown-up bridge, Germans built another one in August 1943. The bridge was blown up again for the purposes of making a film „Battle at the river Neretva“.
    https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0064091/
One of the most prominent actors of that time starred in the film, like Yul Brynner, Orson Welles, Franco Nero, and others. It was nominated for Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
Pablo Picasso made one of the posters, making it one of the two he made in his entire career! Being a huge fan of Yugoslavian cinematography, he didn’t want to take any money, but only a case of best Yugoslav wines.

The film was the most expensive in ex Yugoslavia. It costed between 4,5 and 12 million $, today’s equivalent of 70 million $! 350 million people from over the world saw the film. It also had over 10 000 extras, slightly less than Kubrick’s „Spartak“.
Now back to the museum! On the 12th of November 1978, Josip Broz Tito opened it himself, on occasion of making the 35th anniversary of the battle on Neretva.

Today, the overall surface of the museum is 3312 square meters. Inside you can find a lot of interesting things, from photos from that period, original documents, 3D objects, brigade flags and much more. Besides the exhibition of “Battle on Neretva,” you can also find exhibits of the 4th corps of Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Jablanica ethnic house. Also, in museum, you can find a city library with more than 10.000 books.
Near the museum, you will also see a life-size replica of old locomotive series 73, used in railway bridge explosion.

Also, in museum, you can find a city library with more than 10.000 books.
