Our movement from one place to another is an important aspect of humans and because of this movement, diverse means of transportation has been innovated. Some are made for short distance transportation while others are made for long distance transportation.
A day before yesterday being Sunday, I decided to use a vehicle meant for short distance travel, to embark on a long distance journey and it was scary and filled with fun
. It was scary because of the low security in the country Nigeria and it was fun because scary events are fun afterwards
So, on Sunday, I decided to travel from Abia state Nigeria down to my home town: imo state Nigeria and this journey is about 104 km,

But I used a tricycle (keke) to embark on this journey. Normally, the time duration of travel with a car should be around 1hr 30mins but I spent about 3 - 4 hrs on the road in an uncomfortable tricycle.
The reason I'm sharing this with everyone is so that the readers will learn the name of places and would not get lost when traveling from Abia state to ino state or from imo state to abia state.
*Sooooo, Fasten your seatbelt let me take you through my journey on Sunday.*
So, I went out of where I stay at umuahia abia state, and I got a tricycle that took me to "gate." Gate is a place in umuahia abia state.

This was when I boarded a tricycle to gate.

Before I got to "gate"

A picture of me in "gate."
Reaching gate which was my first stop, came down from the tricycle and entered another tricycle to a place called "Onu Imo." Onu Imo is a place where the land of imo state begins from abia state.. basically, that place is the boundary between imo state and abia state. This journey took roughly about 30 minutes.

This place is called okpara square. I got to this place few minutes after I continued my journey from gate

This place is called tower.
After few minutes of driving, I got to Onu Imo.

Me in Onu Imo.
From here, i was lucky to see a tricycle down to my place, Isiala Mbano. Isiala Mbano is the name of my local government Area.
The journey from Onu imo to Mbano took about 2hours, and it was very much uncomfortable.. due to the back seat of the tricycle was full, I seated at the front seat with the driver and we had to manage one seat together. What made it very much uncomfortable was that I had to hold my bags at the front with me. I kept my bigger bag at the floor of the tricycle and my back bag, I held on my hands.

This was how I sat through out the 2 hour journey.
It was as if I was placed on a punishment

My back bag.

My bigger bag on the floor of the tricycle.
45 minutes into our journey, we lost sight of civilization and this was when I became scared
different thoughts came into my head and I was thinking - what if I get kidnapped? What if unknown gun men decided to come at this time? What if this and what if that
.

There was no one at our front.

There was no body at our back.
After travelling for some time, we finally got to where people were and this place is called "isinweke"

Isinweke
After we got to isinweke, we still continued the journey until we got to a place called "oriagwu"

Oriagwu
From there, we continued our journey. After going for some distance, the driver decided to refuel, and we got a fueling station where we filled the tank of the tricycle, and continued with the endless journey.

At this point, the driver got fed up with me taking pictures of everything in sight
and he decided to ask me why I was doing that, but I just told him that I'm a blogger and I'm doing it for my page
We continued our journey and at last, we got to Isiala Mbano Local government Area.
*Yay..... At last*
But.......... This wasn't the end of the journey yaknow, I had to look for a motor cycle to take me to my house at "Ibeme" and this lasted for about 30 - 45mins interval. At this point, I was becoming frustrated because I was really tired and scared at the same time.

Me at mbano

The motorcycle I used for the journey

When we left Mbano and was heading to my place - Ibeme

Me ontop of the motorcycle

The scary road

When I reached a place I knew and my nerves got relaxed
... All the tension was lost and I became confident again
I later got home around 5:30pm and I had to hurry immediately to see the king of my place. It's not compulsory though by I made it a routine to go to his place for blessings anytime I go back to my village.
After seeing my king, I went back home and refreshed then I slept like there was no tomorrow..
So, thats all about my endless journey.
Thank you for reading through, it really means a lot to me.
