RIP Allan Steven Kay
Allen had a great vision for SoMee and this was showcased during a meeting with
christopherkramer.10 and the marketing team which I was privileged to be a part of. His knowledge, experiences and advice gave us a sense of motivation, clarity and positivity which was really insightful.
It was Allen's creative slogan idea "SoMee - It pays to be social" and what that means as he explained is it pays to be social if you invest in SoMee, it pays to be social if you are a member, it pays to be social if you are a client that makes a product.
Those who are unaware of Allen and his excellence in advertising creativity:
Allen Steven Kay was an advertising executive and entrepreneur. He created a television advertisement for Xerox that aired during the 1976 Super Bowl. Kay is also known for his "See Something Say Something" advertising campaign for the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Kay holds 22 Clio awards. Advertising Age named him one of 11 influential high-tech marketing professionals of the 20th century. He has served on the Advisory Boards of TeachersCount until 2001 where he came up with the campaign slogan "Behind every famous person is a fabulous teacher", and designed the website.
