This big rock was exposed during our recent minus tides. The shape of the rock is cool, but the rock itself is totally blanketed in sea anemones, barnacles and black mussels. The large black mussels used to be prevalent all up and down the Oregon coast. But in the 70’s people found out they taste delicious.

Some of my potato plants got frost burnt before they could mature so I had to go and harvest what was under them. I also took the chance to move the soil from the removed plants and place add it to the healthier plants for more nutrients and protection. This is called "I don't really know if it's called anything 😂", but it's a good way to take advantage of a bad situation.
