Israel bombs north Gaza’s Kuwait roundabout, targeting authorities tasked with aid delivery

Israeli forces bombed a gathering point of dozens of Palestinians near the Kuwait roundabout in Gaza City, killing at least 23 people and injuring dozens on Tuesday evening.

Most of them were members of Palestinian clans and officers of Gaza’s emergency committee who handled aid supplies and deliveries to starving people in north Gaza.

Since Saturday, they had successfully ensured the arrival of 35 aid trucks at the Kuwait and Nabulsi roundabouts, unloading the deliveries in shelters and centers of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza’s Al-Tuffah neighborhood and Jabalia refugee camp.

Such a mission could not have been successful without Gaza Police directing Palestinians not to gather around aid trucks on Al-Rashid and Sala El-Din streets in north Gaza and allowing the emergency committee to do its job of unloading and distributing food.

The missions between local police, the heads of clans in Gaza, and UNRWA were coordinated in an effort to protect civilians in the north after numerous attacks in recent weeks in which Israeli forces shot and killed hundreds of Palestinians as crowds attempted to get food and flour from trucks in Gaza since late February; a number of the dead were also reportedly killed in the crowd crush.

In the past few days, Palestinians lined up to get their rations of flour inside the premises of the humanitarian centers in Jabalia and Gaza. Among the people Israel killed on Tuesday evening is Amjad Hathat, the director of Gaza’s emergency committee.

Hamas says Israel is ‘spreading chaos’ in north Gaza

In response to the targeting of the local officials in north Gaza, Hamas accused Israel of “spreading chaos” in a bid to create an “administrative vacuum” by targeting the emergency committee. Ismail Al-Thawabteh, a media government spokesperson, told Al-Jazeera Arabic that Israel allows aid trucks to enter north Gaza and then bombs people approaching it.

On Monday evening, Israel assassinated Faiq Al-Mabhouh, the head of police operations in Gaza, who handled the entry of food trucks and managed to deliver 13 of them to north Gaza. Israel said Mabhouh was “the head of Operations Directorate of the Internal Security Service of Hamas.”

Tel Aviv is trying to create an authority in the Gaza Strip in place of Hamas, and it views the successful coordination between local clans, Gaza Police and UN agencies to deliver aid as a sign of Hamas’s ability to administer in Gaza.

Israel is still trying to use food and medical deliveries as a tool to strengthen and push some clan leaders to the front seat and put them in charge of handling the aid, coordinating with Israel and the international agencies.

However, several Palestinian clans in the Gaza Strip refused to be “an alternative political regime” in the Gaza Strip and coordinate humanitarian missions with Israel.

One kilogram of flour for every 25 people

Although dozens of aid trucks reached north Gaza in the past days, where thousands of Palestinians are at risk of famine and starvation, the loads remain short to meet people’s needs.

Al-Akhbar reported that a flour truck arrived at Abu Bakr al-Razi shelter center in Gaza’s Al-Tuffah neighborhood on Monday, where 8,000 people currently live, and contained 1,000 bags of flour, each weighing 25 kilograms.

“We give each family what is sufficient for one or two days only. We have no other choice,” a member of the emergency committee told Al-Akhbar’s correspondent.

“Every 25 individuals share one kilogram of flour. Knowing that a kilogram is enough to make 20 loaves, it means that a large number of people… won’t get even a single loaf of bread,” in Gaza, he added.

Children in Gaza face grave injuries, malnutrition as hospitals struggle to operate

A few trucks were also loaded with medical supplies and delivered to the UNRWA clinic in Jabalia, to Al-Awda and Kamal Adwan hospitals in north Gaza, which are depleted and partially operating. Hospitals in the Gaza Strip are still short of fuel, medicine and medical machines, while other hospitals like Al-Shifa in Gaza City have been under Israeli attack since Sunday.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has long warned that Israel is generating a famine in north Gaza, and that “over a million people are expected to face catastrophic hunger unless significantly more food is allowed to enter Gaza.”

Children have already started dying of malnutrition in Gaza, which has long-term effects, such as “low consumption of nutrient-rich foods, repeated infections, and [the] lack of hygiene and sanitation services slow children’s overall growth,” the WHO added.

Israel has killed more than 13,000 children in bombing Gaza since October 7, according to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Four doctors from France, the U.S. and the U.K., who visited the Gaza Strip, said during a UN event in New York that the healthcare system in the enclave is collapsing and that they treated children severely burned by Israel’s bombs.

Nick Maynard, a cancer surgeon with British charity Medical Aid for Palestinians, saw a Palestinian girl so badly burned in an Israeli bombardment that he could see her facial bones.

“We knew there was no chance of her surviving that but there was no morphine to give her,” Maynard said. “So not only was she inevitably going to die but she would die in agony.”

Maynar said that an Israeli ground invasion of Rafah “will be apocalyptic, the number of deaths we’re going to see.”

Amber Alayyan, a pediatrician doctor, said hospitals in Gaza are operating on patients and the injured amid lack of supplies and in dire conditions.

“The infections are getting worse and worse,” she said.

“We have seen patients who traveled, who were victims of explosive injuries, a family of 11, for example, a whole family that arrived at our hospital in the south from the north,” Alayyan told the UN.

“They’ve been moving for three months looking for hospital care. They were victims of explosions. Eleven members of the family were burnt,” she added.

Israeli attack on Nuseirat refugee camp kills 27 family members

In the past 24 hours, Israeli forces committed 10 massacres in various areas of the Gaza Strip, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health on Telegram, killing at least 104 people and injuring 162. Thousands remain under the rubble of bombed buildings, and nearly 32,000 Palestinians were killed and 74,000 injured.

Israeli air strikes on houses in Nuseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, killed at least 27 Palestinians from the Habbash family and injured dozens, Wafa news agency reported.

In north Gaza, Israel bombed Al-Rimal and Al-Daraj neighborhoods. Palestinian rescue team recovered the bodies of 20 people in Gaza City following an Israeli bombardment.

In Beit Lahia and Deir Al-Balah, Israeli artillery bombed several areas, while in Bureij refugee camp, six Palestinians were recovered from under the rubble of a bombed house.

Italian PM opposes Rafah Invasion, Canada votes to stop arms transfers to Israel

The Israeli government has vowed to press on with its planned invasion of the crowded city of Rafah in southern Gaza, despite warnings from international leaders and humanitarian groups. Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has joined the chorus, saying that her country opposes the planned offensive.

“We will reiterate our opposition to military action on the ground by Israel in Rafah that could have even more catastrophic consequences for the civilians crowded in that area,” Meloni told lawmakers in the Senate.

Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, said during a meeting with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi this week, that she is “concerned about the risks a full-scale offensive in Rafah would have on the most vulnerable civilian population. This needs to be avoided at all costs.”

An Israeli invasion of Rafah, the southernmost town in the Gaza Strip where 1.2 million Palestinians are sheltering, could spike tensions with Egypt which watches the western side of the border.

Some Israeli officials and ministers said their wish is to evacuate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Egypt. However, Egypt is closing its borders firmly, and is not allowing mass flux of Palestinians to its territories.

Meanwhile, Canada’s House of Commons voted on Tuesday to halt arms sales to Israel, with Canadian foreign affairs minister, Mélanie Joly, reaffirming the vote, saying her government would halt future arms shipments to Israel, saying “it is a real thing.”

Smotrich calls settlements ‘holistic’ response to sanctions

Israel’s Finance Minister and far-right settler Bezalel Smotrich, suggested that expanding settlement was the “holistic” response to an agreement by the EU on Monday to sanction Israeli settlers, who assaulted Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

“There is one holistic Zionist response to this [EU] declaration, strengthening and entrenching settlement in all parts of the Land of Israel,” Smotrich said on Tuesday.

He claimed that the Israeli justice system could deal with incidents of settlers’ violence on Palestinians. Israeli authorities systematically fail to investigate and prosecute ideological crimes against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, and are often documented joining the settlers in their attacks on Palestinian communities.

The far-right minister is a vocal opponent of the establishment of Palestinian state, and is a supporter of annexing the West Bank into Israel. In January, he said Israel should “encourage the migration of Gaza residents as a solution to the humanitarian crisis”.

The U.S. has recently sanctioned several Israeli settlers involved in attacks against Palestinians, including two entire outposts for the first time.

Israeli forces and settlers kill two Palestinians in West Bank

Two Palestinian were killed in separate incidents in the West Bank on Tuesday afternoon.

Ziad Farhan Diab Hamran, 31, from the Al-Hashimiyah village in Jenin, was shot by Israeli forces near the entrance of Beit Fajjar village and the settlement of Gush Etzion, near Bethlehem. His body remains in Israel’s custody.

Israel said that Hamran shot two intelligence officers from the Shin Bet, who were injured in the attack. Hamran succumbed to his wounds on Tuesday evening.

In Nablus, Israeli settlers killed Fakher Bassem Bani Jaber, 43, from Aqraba village, south of Nablus.

Wafa reported that Jaber was taken to Rafidiya Hospital where he died. Settlers attacked Khirbet al-Tawil area, near Aqraba village, which prompted Palestinians to defend their lands. In occupied Jerusalem, only 20,000 Palestinians performed Ramadan’s Al-Tarawih prayer on the tenth night as Israeli authorities kept restricting the numbers of Palestinians who could enter Jerusalem from the West Bank. It was also rainy and cold in Jerusalem on Tuesday night, Wafa reported.

  • 5 Beautiful Dua for You This Ramadan

We thank Allah s.w.t for reuniting us again with Ramadan after a long year of highs and lows. A meeting that the believers desperately need to nourish their faith by receiving the forgiveness of past sins and striving to achieve a higher place in the sight of Allah s.w.t. In a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah r.a:

“When the month of Ramadan enters, the gates of Heaven are opened, and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.”

    (Sahih Al-Bukhari & Muslim)

In this very month, Allah s.w.t sends down His Mercy that is manifested into His forgiveness, multiplied rewards, acceptance and other blessings to His servants. Fortunate it is for those who strive hard to avoid falling into sins, continuously seek repentance and increase his/her worship. It is, however, a waste if we let this reunion pass by us like any other month.

Read: The Spiritual Significance of Ramadan

To be able to observe various deeds, one needs to supplicate to Allah s.w.t. for aid and acceptance. Thus, prayers serve as reminders as we seek to connect with the Divine.

Here are some supplications that we regularly recite in the month of Ramadan. The translations are provided to guide us to understand, internalise and immerse ourselves in the spiritual experience of this sacred month.

    1. Ramadan Dua for the Day and Night

There are no specific supplications to be read on the day of Ramadan. However, it does not mean there is no emphasis on supplication. We are encouraged to increase our ibadah (worship) to Allah, and “Supplication is worship” (At-Tirmizi)

One of the many supplications that we can recite daily during the day and night throughout Ramadan is:

"I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah, we ask you (O Allah) for Paradise and we seek refuge with you from the Hellfire."

Our scholars have encouraged us to read the above supplication based on the following Hadith:

"And increase in this month (Ramadan) four matters; two of which shall be to please your Lord, while the other two shall be those of which you cannot make do without.

As for the two matters which shall be to please your Lord, are that you should recite the testament of faith Lā ilāha illa Allāh and to seek His forgiveness.

And as for the other two matters without which you cannot make do, you should be asking Allāh for paradise and seek refuge with Him from the fire of Jahannam."

    (Hadith narrated by Ibn Khuzaimah)

    2. Dua When Breaking Fast in Ramadan

Allahumma laka sumtu wa 'ala rizqika aftartu

"O Allah, I have fasted for Your sake and broken the fast upon Your provisions."

    Zahabaz-zam-u, wa-btallatil-ʿurūqu, wathabatal-ajru in shā'a Allāhu taʿālā

"The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward has been earned if Allah wills."

    (Sunan Abi Dawud)

The fasting person will find two kinds of happiness. The first is at the time of breaking the fast; the other is at the time of meeting with his/her Lord. One should be conscious of Allah's presence and that He has promised to send down blessings for the ones observing His fast. We shouldn't be too excited with the feasts lest we forget The One providing these provisions. Be mindful and make heartfelt prayers, for the Prophet s.a.w. mentioned:

“Indeed the prayer of the fasting person during his break is not rejected.”

    (Sunan Ibn Majah)

    4. Supplication After Witr Prayers in Ramadan

After ending the Witr prayer, the Prophet s.a.w. would recite three times:

"Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy"

    (Sunan An-Nasa'i)

Afterwards, we may also pray the following dua which is usually read in mosques after praying together in congregation. Ponder upon the meaning of this long and beautiful dua:

    5. Supplication in Seeking Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) in Ramadan

In a hadith, the Prophet s.a.w encouraged his wife Aisyah r.a. to read the following supplication if one were to meet Laylatul Qadr, the night that is better than a thousand months:

Allahumma innaKa 'Afuwwun, tuhibbul 'afwa, fa'fu 'anni

"O Allah, You are indeed Forgiving and love to forgive, so forgive me."

    (Sunan At-Tirmizi)

Although scholars have opinions regarding the exact date of the night of Laylatul Qadr such as it is in the last ten nights, the exact time, by the wisdom of Allah s.w.t remains to be His secret. Hence, it is encouraged for every believer to recite the above supplication repeatedly every night on the nights of Ramadan.

Read: 4 Beautiful Significance of Laylatul Qadr

Beyond reciting this supplication upon seeking the Night of Qadr, Muslims also make it a practice to recite this dua from the beginning of Ramadan regularly. Generally, mosques in Singapore recite this supplication after the daily congregational prayers.

In addition to the list of dua provided above, it is also a common practice for our mosques in Singapore to recite the following:

Yaa Tawwab tubb 'alayna * War-hamna wa-nzur ilaina
Qad kafani 'ilmu Rabbi * min su-ali wa-khtiyari
    Fa-du'a'i wa-btihali * Shahidun li biftiqaria
Ana 'abdun saara fakhiri * Dhimna faqri wa-dhtirari
"O Most Receiving Of Repentance, accept our repentance – And bestow Your mercy upon us and turn to us
The Knowledge of my Lord suffices me – From asking and deciding
For my prayer and invocation – Is a witness to my state of destitute
I am a servant and my pride lies – In my state of need and desperation.”

As we increase our supplications to Allah s.w.t, it is important for us to observe the etiquettes of supplication. We start by seeking forgiveness first before anything else (repentance) to invoke upon Allah s.w.t. with humility, demonstrating deprivation and an utter sense of in-need. Allah s.w.t. mentions in the Quran:

"When My servants ask you (O Prophet) about Me: (tell them that) I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided (to the right path)"

    (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:186)

Some scholars have opined that since this verse is placed between verses about Ramadan and the laws of fasting, it indicates the merits of supplication in the blessed month of Ramadan.

May this list of supplications benefit you and your loved ones. As we seek to attain the spiritual gems in this blessed month, we pray that Allah s.w.t helps us to clean our hearts and make us sincere in our worship. Indeed, He is closer to us than anything or anyone else.

May Allah s.w.t. accept our acts of worship in this blessed month of Ramadan. May Allah s.w.t. allow us to be better Muslims and servants who serve Him through our service to humanity.

    https://telegra.ph/5-Beautiful-Dua-for-You-This-Ramadan-03-11
5 Beautiful Dua for You This Ramadan We thank Allah s.w.t for reuniting us again with Ramadan after a long year of highs and lows. A meeting that the believers desperately need to nourish their faith by receiving the forgiveness of past sins and striving to achieve a higher place in the sight of Allah s.w.t. In a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah r.a: ‏إِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَسُلْسِلَتِ الشَّيَاطِين “When the month of Ramadan enters, the gates of Heaven are opened, and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari & Muslim) In this very month, Allah s.w.t sends down His Mercy that is manifested into His forgiveness, multiplied rewards, acceptance and other blessings to His servants. Fortunate it is for those who strive hard to avoid falling into sins, continuously seek repentance and increase his/her worship. It is, however, a waste if we let this reunion pass by us like any other month. Read: The Spiritual Significance of Ramadan To be able to observe various deeds, one needs to supplicate to Allah s.w.t. for aid and acceptance. Thus, prayers serve as reminders as we seek to connect with the Divine. Here are some supplications that we regularly recite in the month of Ramadan. The translations are provided to guide us to understand, internalise and immerse ourselves in the spiritual experience of this sacred month. 1. Ramadan Dua for the Day and Night There are no specific supplications to be read on the day of Ramadan. However, it does not mean there is no emphasis on supplication. We are encouraged to increase our ibadah (worship) to Allah, and “Supplication is worship” (At-Tirmizi) One of the many supplications that we can recite daily during the day and night throughout Ramadan is: أَشهَدُ أَن لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ الله، أَستَغفِرُ الله، نَسأَلُكَ الجَنَّةَ ونَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّار Ashhadu an la ilaha illAllah, astaghfirullah, nas-alukal-jannata wa na'uzu bika minan-nar "I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah, I seek forgiveness from Allah, we ask you (O Allah) for Paradise and we seek refuge with you from the Hellfire." Our scholars have encouraged us to read the above supplication based on the following Hadith: فاستكثروا فيه من أربع خصال, خصلتين ترضون بهما ربكم ، وخصلتين لا غنى بكم عنهما: فأما الخصلتان اللتان ترضون بهما ربكم: فشهادة أن لا إله إلا الله ، وتستغفرونه ، وأما اللتان لا غنى بكم عنهما : فتسألون الله الجنة ، وتعوذون به من النار "And increase in this month (Ramadan) four matters; two of which shall be to please your Lord, while the other two shall be those of which you cannot make do without. As for the two matters which shall be to please your Lord, are that you should recite the testament of faith Lā ilāha illa Allāh and to seek His forgiveness. And as for the other two matters without which you cannot make do, you should be asking Allāh for paradise and seek refuge with Him from the fire of Jahannam." (Hadith narrated by Ibn Khuzaimah) 2. Dua When Breaking Fast in Ramadan Allahumma laka sumtu wa 'ala rizqika aftartu "O Allah, I have fasted for Your sake and broken the fast upon Your provisions." Zahabaz-zam-u, wa-btallatil-ʿurūqu, wathabatal-ajru in shā'a Allāhu taʿālā "The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward has been earned if Allah wills." (Sunan Abi Dawud) The fasting person will find two kinds of happiness. The first is at the time of breaking the fast; the other is at the time of meeting with his/her Lord. One should be conscious of Allah's presence and that He has promised to send down blessings for the ones observing His fast. We shouldn't be too excited with the feasts lest we forget The One providing these provisions. Be mindful and make heartfelt prayers, for the Prophet s.a.w. mentioned: إِنَّ لِلصَّائِمِ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ لَدَعْوَةً مَا تُرَدُّ “Indeed the prayer of the fasting person during his break is not rejected.” (Sunan Ibn Majah) 3. O Allah make us from those who have complete faith, perform all obligations, guard their prayers, give zakat, seek that which is due from You, hope for Your forgiveness, hold on firmly to guidance, turn away from futile acts, show no excessive interest for worldly pleasures, devote for the hereafter, are pleased with the divine decree, are grateful for Your blessings, are patient during trials, would walk under the flag of our leader (sayyidina) Muhammad s.a.w. on the Day of Judgement, would arrive to the Prophet’s well (in the hereafter), would enter the Paradise, would be saved from the hellfire, would sit on the honoured mattresses (of paradise), would be married to the companions of Paradise, would be adorned with garments (of paradise) from Silk and Brocade, would eat from the food of Paradise, would drink from the milk and pure honey in the cups and goblets from the fountain of clear water, in the company of those You bestow blessings upon them from amongst the Prophets, the righteous, the martyrs and the pious and what a great company do they make. Such is Allah’s favour, and it is sufficient that Allah is All-Knowing. Praise be to Allah, Lord of all the Worlds. ___________ Read: How to Perform Solat Terawih: Step-by-Step Guide 4. Supplication After Witr Prayers in Ramadan After ending the Witr prayer, the Prophet s.a.w. would recite three times: سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ "Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy" (Sunan An-Nasa'i) Afterwards, we may also pray the following dua which is usually read in mosques after praying together in congregation. Ponder upon the meaning of this long and beautiful dua: Supplication in Seeking Laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) in Ramadan In a hadith, the Prophet s.a.w encouraged his wife Aisyah r.a. to read the following supplication if one were to meet Laylatul Qadr, the night that is better than a thousand months: Allahumma innaKa 'Afuwwun, tuhibbul 'afwa, fa'fu 'anni "O Allah, You are indeed Forgiving and love to forgive, so forgive me." (Sunan At-Tirmizi) Although scholars have opinions regarding the exact date of the night of Laylatul Qadr such as it is in the last ten nights, the exact time, by the wisdom of Allah s.w.t remains to be His secret. Hence, it is encouraged for every believer to recite the above supplication repeatedly every night on the nights of Ramadan. Read: 4 Beautiful Significance of Laylatul Qadr Beyond reciting this supplication upon seeking the Night of Qadr, Muslims also make it a practice to recite this dua from the beginning of Ramadan regularly. Generally, mosques in Singapore recite this supplication after the daily congregational prayers. In addition to the list of dua provided above, it is also a common practice for our mosques in Singapore to recite the following: يَا تَوَّاب تُب عَلَينَا * وَارحَمنَا وَانظُر إِلَينَا قَد كَفَانِي عِلمُ رَبِّي * مِن سُؤَالِي وَاختِيَارِي فَدُعَائِي وَابتِهَالِي * شَاهِدٌ لِي بِافتِقَارِي أَنَا عَبدٌ صَارَ فَاخرِي * ضِمنَ فَقرِي وَاضطِرَارِي Yaa Tawwab tubb 'alayna * War-hamna wa-nzur ilaina Qad kafani 'ilmu Rabbi * min su-ali wa-khtiyari Fa-du'a'i wa-btihali * Shahidun li biftiqaria Ana 'abdun saara fakhiri * Dhimna faqri wa-dhtirari "O Most Receiving Of Repentance, accept our repentance – And bestow Your mercy upon us and turn to us The Knowledge of my Lord suffices me – From asking and deciding For my prayer and invocation – Is a witness to my state of destitute I am a servant and my pride lies – In my state of need and desperation.” As we increase our supplications to Allah s.w.t, it is important for us to observe the etiquettes of supplication. We start by seeking forgiveness first before anything else (repentance) to invoke upon Allah s.w.t. with humility, demonstrating deprivation and an utter sense of in-need. Allah s.w.t. mentions in the Quran: وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ "When My servants ask you (O Prophet) about Me: (tell them that) I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided (to the right path)" (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:186) Some scholars have opined that since this verse is placed between verses about Ramadan and the laws of fasting, it indicates the merits of supplication in the blessed month of Ramadan. May Allah s.w.t. allow us to be better Muslims and servants who serve Him through our service to humanity. https://muslim.sg/articles/5-beautiful-dua-for-you-this-ramadan https://telegra.ph/5-Beautiful-Dua-for-You-This-Ramadan-03-11

    Inspirasi dari mengingati kematian.

Bila hati banyak berzikir mengingati kematian,

“Dari Ibn Umar ia berkata: Rasulullah ‎ﷺ bersabda:

“ Hati ini berkarat seperti berkaratnya besi jika terkena air. Lalu Baginda ‎ﷺ ditanya: “Apakah pembersihnya?”Sabda Baginda ‎ﷺ : “Banyakkan mengingati mati dan membaca Al-Quran.”

    (HR: Al Baihaqi)

Seorang perempuan mengadu kepada 'Aisyah radhiyallahu ‘anha tentang kerasnya hatinya. Kata 'Aisyah padanya : “ Engkau banyakkanlah mengingati mati nescaya lembut hatimu".

    Syumaith bin ‘Ajlan berkata:

    (HR Ibnu Majah, no. 4259)

    7. Hati terputus dari rasa ‘ at takaatsur ’ ( التكاثر) iaitu keinginan membanyakkan harta dan dunia.

    (At Takatsur : 1-2)

“Perbanyaklah mengingat pemutus kenikmatan, iaitu kematian.

    (Sahih Al Jami’ush Shaghir)

Jika engkau masuk waktu sore, maka janganlah engkau menanti Subuh. Ambillah dari kesehatanmu untuk sakitmu. Dan ambillah dari hidupmu untuk matimu.”

    (HR Bukhari, no. 5937)

    Ad Daqqaq rahimahullah berkata,

(At Tadzkirah fi Ahwal Al Mauta wa Umur Al Akhirah, karya Al Qurthuby).

    (HR Bukhari, no. 5942)

“Perbanyaklah mengingat pemutus kenikmatan, yaitu kematian.”

    (HR Ibnu Majah, no. 4258)

    Cukuplah kematian menjadi penasihat diri.

    ABi
(Al Anbiya’ : 35) 2. Hati akan menjadi BERSIH, HIDUP’ dan LEMBUT. Lalu Baginda ‎ﷺ ditanya: “Apakah pembersihnya?”Sabda Baginda ‎ﷺ : “Banyakkan mengingati mati dan membaca Al-Quran.” Kata 'Aisyah padanya : “ Engkau banyakkanlah mengingati mati nescaya lembut hatimu". [Mukhtashar Minhajul Qashidin]. 4. Tergambar hakikat dunia yang menipu. (HR Ibnu Majah, no. 4259) 7. Hati terputus dari rasa ‘ at takaatsur ’ ( التكاثر) iaitu keinginan membanyakkan harta dan dunia. (At Takatsur : 1-2) Artinya, berlumba-lumba memperbanyakkan harta dan bermewah, seringkali melalaikan manusia. Dan Ibnu Umar mengatakan: “Jika engkau masuk waktu Subuh, maka janganlah engkau menanti sore. Jika engkau masuk waktu sore, maka janganlah engkau menanti Subuh. Ambillah dari kesehatanmu untuk sakitmu. Dan ambillah dari hidupmu untuk matimu.” (HR Bukhari, no. 5937) Ad Daqqaq rahimahullah berkata, “من أكثر ذكر الموت أكرم بثلاثة: تعجيل التوبة، وقناعة القلب، ونشاط العبادة، ومن نسى الموت عوجل بثلاثة: تسويف التوبة، وترك الرضا بالكفاف، والتكاسل في العبادة”  (تذكرة القرطبي : ص 9) “Barangsiapa yang banyak mengingat kematian maka dimuliakan dengan tiga hal: “Bersegera taubat, puas hati dan semangat ibadah, dan barangsiapa yang lupa kematian diberikan hukuman dengan tiga hal; menunda taubat, tidak ridha dengan keadaan dan malas ibadah” (At Tadzkirah fi Ahwal Al Mauta wa Umur Al Akhirah, karya Al Qurthuby). 11. (HR Ibnu Majah, no. 4258) Cukuplah kematian menjadi penasihat diri. • Duas for Palestine and Gaza in English With Transliteration and Translation
During these times, we should be more spiritually resilient and increase our ibadah, and one of the simplest forms of ibadah is by reciting duas or supplication.

Duas for Palestine and Gaza in English

    dua for palestine

It has been 75 years since the Nakba in 1948. Throughout these years, Palestinians have had to bear unimaginable oppression and suffering.

Every time we see news of Palestinians being oppressed, displaced or killed, we can’t help but feel grief, rage, sadness, and helplessness.

Firstly, it is okay to feel these feelings and to allow yourself to process them. It's important to understand these feelings, make sense of them, and acknowledge them.

Secondly, it is during these times that we should be more spiritually resilient and increase our ibadah, and one of the simplest forms of ibadah is by reciting duas or supplication.

The beauty of making dua is that you can recite it anytime, no matter your condition and situation. Be it if you are feeling sad or happy, there is always time to recite a dua.

Allah s.w.t. mentioned in the Quran:

Your Lord has proclaimed, “Call upon Me, I will respond to you.”

    (Surah Ghafir, 40:60)

Alhamdulillah, various local organisations and mosques have stepped up in efforts to provide platforms not just for logistical aids only but for spirituality as well. One of which was reciting the Dua Qunut Nazilah, with some mosques still reciting it regularly.

    1. Dua Qunut Nazilah

    qunut nazilah
Dua Qunut Nazilah is a sunnah that is often read in times of calamity or crisis or for seeking Allah’s protection. It also can be read with the intention of assisting others facing adversity, signifying solidarity between the Muslims.

Dua Qunut Nazilah is recited on the last unit of prayer (raka’at), after the i’tidal, while still standing, and before proceeding to the sujud position, and it is also recommended to raise both hands upon reciting the Dua Qunut.

    Allāhummah dinā fīman hadait
    Wa ‘āfinā fīman ‘āfait
    Wa tawallanā fīman tawallait
    Wa bārik lānā fīma a’atoit
    Wa qinā syarra mā qadhait
Fa-innaka taqdhī wa lā yuqdho ‘alaik
Wa innahu lā yazillu man wālait
    Wa lā ya’izzu man ‘ādait
    Tabārakta Rabbanā wa ta'alait

Allāhumma-nsur ikhwānanal-mustadh’afīna fī ghazzah (Gaza) wa fī filistīn (Palestine)

    Meaning:

O Allah, guide me as You have guided others, grant me well-being as You have granted others, take me into Your care as You have taken others into Your care, and bless me in all that You have given me. Protect me from the evils You have ordained.

Surely, You hold command without being commanded, and those under Your care shall not be humiliated. None whom You have taken as an enemy shall taste glory. You are blessed, Our Lord, and Exalted. All praise is upon You for Your decisions. I seek Your forgiveness, and I repent to You.

O Allah, we turn to You and ask, by Your mercy and gentleness, to look upon us and all Your creations. All doors are closed except Yours, all causes ceased except Yours. There is no might or power except through You, Lord of all the worlds.

O Allah, we ask for safety, security, peace, and tranquility for the entire world and all people. Preserve these blessings upon us, our children, and our homes, Lord of all the worlds.

O Allah, aid our vulnerable brothers and sisters in Gaza and Palestine (repeated three times), and in all places, O Most Merciful of the Merciful. Take them by their hand, protect them, be gentle with them, and suppress deceit. Grant them Your protection against aggressors, remove harm, oppression, and all adversity—both apparent and hidden. Be gentle with them, in safety and well-being, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful.

O Allah, reward the victims, tend to the wounded, instill tranquility in their hearts, allay their fears, turn their sadness to happiness, Lord of all the worlds.

O Allah, intervene between them and their adversaries. Inspire them with Your guidance, open the doors of wisdom, safety, pardon, and forgiveness. O Affectionate, Benefactor, Creator of the heavens and universe.

    2. Dua for Protection from Trials and Tribulations

In these tumultuous times, Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. has clearly warned us to protect ourselves against afflictions, specifically against Dajjal.

dua for protection from dajjal palestine

    Allahumma inni a’uzubika min ‘azabil-qabr, wa a’uzubika min fitnatil-masihid-dajjal, wa a’uzubika min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat. Allahumma inni a’uzubika minal-ma’thami wal-maghram.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of the Dajjal, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of Life and Death. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from sin and debts.

    (Sunan Abi Daud)

The Prophet s.a.w. would sometimes read this supplication after the end of his prayers. This dua is usually read after the tahiyyat akhir, before giving the salam.

    3. Dua for Total Protection

Another important supplication that can be read in these times is the dua which seeks Allah’s protection and concealment of one's shortcomings.

    Allahummas-tur ‘aurati wa-amin rau’ati, wah-fazni min baini yadaiya, wa-min khalfi, wa-’an yamini, wa-’an syimali, wa-min fawqi, wa-a’uzu bika an ughtala min tahti

O Allah, conceal my shortcomings, calm my fears, and protect me from before me and behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in You from being taken unaware from beneath.

    (Sunan Ibn Majah)

One reason we should read this dua is that whatever shortcomings we had in the past would not hinder our sincere efforts to become a better person, insyaAllah.

    4. Dua for Sincere Forgiveness

In these trying times, we should increase our efforts in making more dua. Therefore, when praying for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, let us not forget to pray for ourselves as well. Let's seek forgiveness from Allah s.w.t. and make sincere repentance.

    Sayyidul Istighfar dua for palestine

O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I remain faithful to Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favours upon me, and I admit my sins. So forgive me, for indeed none forgives sins except You.

    (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

Known as the ‘Sayyidul Istighfar’, the Prophet s.a.w. mentioned that ‘whoever recites during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.’

    5. Dua For Reliance on Allah s.w.t.

Lastly, let’s not forget to have faith and put our unwavering trust in the Almighty in His plans.

Dua For Palestine Reliance on Allah

Allahumma laka aslamtu, wa bika amantu, wa ‘alaika tawakkaltu, wa ilaika anabtu.

Oh Allah! To You I have submitted, and in You do I believe, and in You I put my trust, to You do I turn to.

    (Muttafaqun ‘Alayh)

Even when we find ourselves in situations we don't fully comprehend or when things seem to deviate from our plans, it's crucial to acknowledge and trust that whatever is unfolding aligns with His divine will and may ultimately be for our greater good.

Finally, we should not waver in our ibadah. We should strengthen our connection with Allah s.w.t. for Allah s.w.t. is ever-ready for us to return to Him.

In a hadith qudsi reported by Abu Dharr:

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty says: Whoever comes with a good deed will have the reward of ten like it and even more. Whoever comes with an evil deed will be recompensed for one evil deed like it or he will be forgiven. Whoever draws close to Me by the length of a hand, I will draw close to him by the length of an arm. Whoever draws close to Me by the length of an arm, I will draw close to him by the length of a fathom. Whoever comes to Me walking, I will come to him running. Whoever meets Me with enough sins to fill the earth, not associating any partners with Me, I will meet him with as much forgiveness.”

    (Sahih Muslim)

May Allah s.w.t. accept our sincerest efforts and ease the affairs of our brothers and sisters in Palestine, insyaAllah.

In a hadith qudsi reported by Abu Dharr: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty says: Whoever comes with a good deed will have the reward of ten like it and even more. Whoever meets Me with enough sins to fill the earth, not associating any partners with Me, I will meet him with as much forgiveness.” (Sahih Muslim) May Allah s.w.t. accept our sincerest efforts and ease the affairs of our brothers and sisters in Palestine, insyaAllah. https://muslim.sg/articles/duas-for-palestine-and-gaza-in-english-with-transliteration-and-translation

  • Dua Qunut for Subuh Prayers and Dua Qunut Nazilah with Arabic/English Transliteration

Dua Qunut for the Subuh and Witr Prayers and Dua Qunut Nazilah

Dua Qunut in English with transliteration and translation

All praises be to Allah s.w.t.

Among the signs of a humble servant is when he constantly consults The One who created him. We supplicate to express our gratitude and thankfulness to Allah s.w.t. It is indeed our utmost duty to seek from Him goodness and forgiveness in times of hardship and ease.

Allah s.w.t mentions in the Quran:

And when My servants ask you, (O Muhammad), concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me (by obedience) and believe in Me that they may be (rightly) guided

    (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:186)

The supplication of Dua Qunut is the supplication recited during Subuh prayer (Fajr prayer). The Arabic word ‘قنوت - Qunoot’ has multiple linguistic meanings, one of which simply means ‘To Stand’.

As a Fiqh term, it means; A supplication or praise to Allah s.w.t. which is read at a specific Rukun in Solat (while in the form of i’tidal - standing). The Dua Qunut was first practised when our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. encountered a calamity during the early stages of prophethood in Makkah.

    There are two types of Dua Qunut;

    1. Dua Qunut Rotibah (regular) is recited during Subuh prayer as well as the Witr prayer in the second half of Ramadan. It is also sunnah for those who did not perform or may have missed the Dua Qunut Rotibah in prayer to do the Sujud Sahwi before giving the salam.

Read: How to Pray in Islam: Step-By-Step Guide to Solat for Beginners

    2. Dua Qunut Nazilah, which is specifically recited in times of calamity or for seeking Allah’s protection. Qunut Nazilah is recited during the five daily obligatory prayers and the Friday prayers.

When a crisis or calamity happens, it is Sunnah to recite Dua Qunut Nazilah. In fact, we can also recite the Dua when we intend to provide assistance for others facing adversity or disaster. This can be a way of showing solidarity as Muslims towards others.

The ruling for both of these two types of Dua Qunut is Sunnah.

Dua Qunut is recited on the last unit of prayer (raka’at), after the I’tidal, while still standing, and before proceeding to the Sujud position. It is recommended to raise both hands upon reciting the Dua Qunut.

    1. Dua Qunut/Qunoot

    اللهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَAllāhummah-dinÄ« fÄ«man hadaitوَعَافِني فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَWa ‘āfinÄ« fÄ«man ‘āfaitوَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَWa tawallanÄ« fÄ«man tawallaitوَبَارِكْ لِي فِيماَ أَعْطَيْتَWa bārik lÄ« fÄ«mā a’atoitوَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَWa qinÄ« syarra mā qadhaitفَإنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَFa-innaka taqdÄ« wa lā yuqdho ‘alaikوَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ Wa innahu laa yazillu man wālaitوَلاَ يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَWa lā ya’izzu man ‘ādaitتَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَTabārakta Rabbana wa ta'ālaitفَلَكَ الْحَمْدٌ عَلى ما قَضَيتَ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأََتُوبُ إِلَيْكَFalak-al-hamdu ‘alā mā qadhaita, wa astaghfiruka wa atÅ«bu ilaikوَصلَّى اللهُ عَلىَ سَيًّدًنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الأُمِّيِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَWa sallallāhu ‘alā sayyidinā Muhammadin Nabiyyil ummÄ«yi wa ‘alā ālihi wa sahbihiajma’Ä«n

    Meaning:

O Allah, guide me with those whom You have guided and grant me wellbeing with those whom You have granted wellbeing. Take me to Your care with those whom You have taken to Your care. Bless me in what You have given me. Protect me from the evil You have ordained.

Surely, You hold the command and are not commanded, and none whom You have committed to Your care shall be humiliated. And none whom You have taken as an enemy shall taste glory. You are blessed, Our Lord and Exalted. All I praise is upon You for what You decide.

I seek Your forgiveness, and I repent unto You.  Peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and all his Companions.

    2. Dua Qunut Nazilah

The recent heartbreaking events in Gaza call our attention to recite Dua Qunut Nazilah, specifically for the Palestinians and to all victims of disasters and unfortunate events around the world.

    اللهُمَّ اهْدِنَا فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَAllāhummah dinā fÄ«man hadaitوَعَافِنَا فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَWa ‘āfinā fÄ«man ‘āfaitوَتَوَلَّنَا فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَWa tawallanā fÄ«man tawallaitوَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِيماَ أَعْطَيْتَWa bārik lānā fÄ«ma a’atoitوَقِنَا شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَWa qinā syarra mā qadhaitفَإنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَFa-innaka taqdhÄ« wa lā yuqdho ‘alaikوَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ Wa innahu lā yazillu man wālaitوَلاَ يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَWa lā ya’izzu man ‘ādaitتَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَTabārakta Rabbanā wa ta'alaitفَلَكَ الْحَمْدٌ عَلى ما قَضَيتَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَFalak-al hamdu ‘alā mā qadhait, wa nastaghfiruka wa natÅ«bu ilaik

Wa sallAllāhu ‘alā sayyidinā Muhammadin-nabiyyil-ummi wa ‘alā alihi wa sahbihi wa sallam

    Meaning:

O Allah, guide me with those whom You have guided and grant me wellbeing with those You have granted wellbeing. Take me to Your care with those whom You have taken to Your care. Bless me in what You have given me. Protect me from the evil You have ordained.

You are blessed, Our Lord and Exalted. All I praise is upon You for what You decide. I seek Your forgiveness, and I repent to You.

Oh Allah, we turn to You, and we ask You, by Your mercy and gentleness, to look at us (with care) and all Your creations. O Allah, all doors have closed except for Yours, and all causes have ceased except for Yours. There is no might or power except by You, O Lord of all the worlds.

O Allah, we ask You for safety, security, peace and tranquillity for the entire world and to all people. And preserve this blessing upon us, our children, and our homes, O Lord of all the worlds.

O Allah, help our vulnerable brothers and sisters in Gaza and in Palestine x3

And in all places, O The Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah take them by their hand, protect them, be gentle to them, and suppress the deceits. O Allah, grant them Your protection against the aggressors and remove from them harm and oppression and all kinds of adversity and tribulations, all that which is apparent and hidden. Be gentle upon them from what You have ordained, in safety and wellbeing, by Your mercy, O The Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, reward the victims, treat their wounded, place tranquillity in their hearts, secure their fears with assurance, turn their sadness with happiness, O Lord of all the worlds.

O Allah, come in between them and their adversary. O Allah, inspire them with Your guidance, open for them the doors of wisdom, safety, pardon and forgiveness, O The Affectionate, The Benefactor, O The Creator of The Heavens and Universe.

    3. Other Duas that we can recite in Qunut

    (Sahih Muslim)

Seeking Allah for forgiveness and well-being

Allāhumma innÄ« asa’luka mÅ«jibāti rahmatik, wa 'azā-ima maghfiratik, was-salāmata min kulli ithm, wal-ghanÄ«mata min kulli birrin, wal-fawza bil- jannah, wannajāta mina-nār

O Allah, I beg You for that which incites Your Mercy and the means for Your forgiveness, safety from every sin, the benefit from every good deed, success in attaining Paradise and deliverance from Fire.

    (Hadith narrated by Al-Hakim)

It is indeed an honour for us as Muslims to be able to seek from Him whenever and wherever we may be. Despite the trials and tribulations, there is always room for His endless blessings and may He open our hearts and eyes to count them.

    And Allah knows best.

It is indeed our utmost duty to seek from Him goodness and forgiveness in times of hardship and ease.  Allah s.w.t mentions in the Quran: And when My servants ask you, (O Muhammad), concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me (by obedience) and believe in Me that they may be (rightly) guided (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:186) The supplication of Dua Qunut is the supplication recited during Subuh prayer (Fajr prayer). There are two types of Dua Qunut; 1. Read: How to Pray in Islam: Step-By-Step Guide to Solat for Beginners 2. 1. Dua Qunut/Qunoot اللهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَAllāhummah-dinÄ« fÄ«man hadaitوَعَافِني فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَWa ‘āfinÄ« fÄ«man ‘āfaitوَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَWa tawallanÄ« fÄ«man tawallaitوَبَارِكْ لِي فِيماَ أَعْطَيْتَWa bārik lÄ« fÄ«mā a’atoitوَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَWa qinÄ« syarra mā qadhaitفَإنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَFa-innaka taqdÄ« wa lā yuqdho ‘alaikوَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ Wa innahu laa yazillu man wālaitوَلاَ يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَWa lā ya’izzu man ‘ādaitتَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَTabārakta Rabbana wa ta'ālaitفَلَكَ الْحَمْدٌ عَلى ما قَضَيتَ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأََتُوبُ إِلَيْكَFalak-al-hamdu ‘alā mā qadhaita, wa astaghfiruka wa atÅ«bu ilaikوَصلَّى اللهُ عَلىَ سَيًّدًنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الأُمِّيِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَWa sallallāhu ‘alā sayyidinā Muhammadin Nabiyyil ummÄ«yi wa ‘alā ālihi wa sahbihiajma’Ä«n Meaning: O Allah, guide me with those whom You have guided and grant me wellbeing with those whom You have granted wellbeing. 2. Dua Qunut Nazilah The recent heartbreaking events in Gaza call our attention to recite Dua Qunut Nazilah, specifically for the Palestinians and to all victims of disasters and unfortunate events around the world. اللهُمَّ اهْدِنَا فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَAllāhummah dinā fÄ«man hadaitوَعَافِنَا فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَWa ‘āfinā fÄ«man ‘āfaitوَتَوَلَّنَا فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَWa tawallanā fÄ«man tawallaitوَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِيماَ أَعْطَيْتَWa bārik lānā fÄ«ma a’atoitوَقِنَا شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَWa qinā syarra mā qadhaitفَإنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَFa-innaka taqdhÄ« wa lā yuqdho ‘alaikوَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ Wa innahu lā yazillu man wālaitوَلاَ يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَWa lā ya’izzu man ‘ādaitتَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَTabārakta Rabbanā wa ta'alaitفَلَكَ الْحَمْدٌ عَلى ما قَضَيتَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَFalak-al hamdu ‘alā mā qadhait, wa nastaghfiruka wa natÅ«bu ilaik اَللَهُمَّ إِنَّا نَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ، وَنَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ رَحْمَتِكَ وَلُطْفِكَ، أَنْ تَنْظُرَ إِلَيْنَا وَإِلَى خَلْقِكَ أَجْمَعِينَAllāhumma innā natawajjahu ilaik, wa nas-aluka bihaqqi rahmatika wa lutfik, an tanzura ilaina wa ilā khalqika ajma’Ä«n اَللَّهُمَّ قَدْ أُغْلِقَتِ اْلأَبْوَابُ إِلَّا بَابُكَ، وَقَدِ انْقَطَعَتِ اْلأَسْبَابُ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ، يَا رَبَّ اْلعَالَمِيْنَ Allāhumma qad ughliqatil-abwābu illa bābuk, wa qad inqata’al-asbābu illa ilaik, wa lā hawla wa lā quwwata illā bika, yā Rabb-al-’ālamÄ«n اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ الأَمْنَ وَالأَمَانَ، وَالسِّلْمَ وَالسَّلاَمَ، فيِ الْعَالَمِ كُلِّهِ وَلِلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَأَدِمْ عَلَينَا وَعَلَيهِمْ هَذِهِ النِّعَمَ، فِي أَنْفُسِنَاوَأَنْفُسِهِمْ، وَأَبْنَائِنَا وَأَبْنَائِهِمْ، وَدِيَارِنَا وَدِيَارِهِمْ يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِينَ  Allāhumma innā nas-alukal-amna wal-amān, was-silmi was-salām, fil-’alami kullihi wa lin-nās ajma’in, wa adim ‘alainā wa ‘alaihim hazihin-ni’am, fi anfusinā wa anfusihim, wa abnā-ina wa abnā-ihim, wa diyārina wa diyārihim, yā Rabb-al-’ālamÄ«n اَللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْ إِخْوَانَنَا اْلمُسْتَضْعَفِيْنَ فِي غَزَّةَ وَفِيْ فِلِسْطِيْنَ Allāhumma-nsur ikhwānanal-mustadh’afÄ«na fÄ« ghazzah (Gaza) wa fÄ« filistÄ«n (Palestine)x3 وَفِيْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرّاحِمِيْنَ. Wa fÄ« kulli makān, yā Arhamar-RāhimÄ«n. Other Duas that we can recite in Qunut There are no specific Dua for Qunut Nazilah. Hence, you may consider reading the Dua mentioned above, which is commonly read, or you may additionally include any other Duas which may conform to the dire situation intended. Here are some Duas you may consider: Seeking Allah for the purification of the soul اللهُمَّ آتِي نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَهَا Allāhumma āti nafsÄ« taqwāha, wa zakkihā anta khairu man zakkāha, anta waliyyuhā wa maulāhā O Allah! Grant me piety and purify my soul as You are the Best to purify it. You are its Guardian and its Protecting Friend.  (Sahih Muslim)    Seeking Allah for forgiveness and well-being اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ العَفْوَ وَالعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَة  Allāhumma innÄ« as-alukal-‘afwa wal-‘āfiyah fid-dunya wal-ākhirah  O Allah, I seek You for forgiveness and my wellbeing in this world and the hereafter. (Sunan Abi Dawud) Seeking Allah’s mercy  ‏اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ، وَالسَّلاَمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْم، وَالْغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرْ ÙˆÙŽØ§Ù„ْفَوْزَ بِالجَنَّة، وَالنَّجَاةَ مِنَ النَّارِ‏‏ Allāhumma innÄ« asa’luka mÅ«jibāti rahmatik, wa 'azā-ima maghfiratik, was-salāmata min kulli ithm, wal-ghanÄ«mata min kulli birrin, wal-fawza bil- jannah, wannajāta mina-nār  O Allah, I beg You for that which incites Your Mercy and the means for Your forgiveness, safety from every sin, the benefit from every good deed, success in attaining Paradise and deliverance from Fire.  (Hadith narrated by Al-Hakim) It is indeed an honour for us as Muslims to be able to seek from Him whenever and wherever we may be. Despite the trials and tribulations, there is always room for His endless blessings and may He open our hearts and eyes to count them. And Allah knows best. Check out Muslim.Sg's dua collection.

Sejurus kemudian, terdengar bunyi tembakan terus menerus selama setengah jam.

Peristiwa Sabra Shatilla telah menelanjangkan sikap sebenar Zionis Israel. Tersingkaplah wajah sebenar syaitan bertopeng manusia.
