  • Well, today was one of those days when I spent most of my time in the kitchen. But hey, it was my husband's birthday, and I wanted to make sure he had a great time. So, I put on my apron, rolled up my sleeves, and got to work.
I started off by making some homemade mayonnaise with boiled eggs. I have to admit, I got a little carried away and ended up with more mayo than necessary but he loves it so it will not get waste. And hey, at least he won't be tempted to buy any from the store for a while!
Next up, I decided to make a roasted red pepper roll with cashew cheese. Now, it seems complicated but actually it’s very easy. Well, let's say that the end result looked pretty good. And hey, it's the thought that counts, right?
I also made some turkey rolls and all kinds of keto dishes. I mean, who doesn't love a good keto dish? And of course, the pièce de résistance, the birthday cake! It has to be a keto too, because let's face it, he wouldn’t want anything else. Mission accomplished!
All in all, my hours in the kitchen were spent in a very productive way. My husband appreciated it all, and I'm happy when he's happy, so it was a win-win situation.

    Happy #Wednesday everyone!

  • Another working weekend -helping a friend assemble furniture
When I told him to arrange the assembly along with the furniture, he told me: "It's easy, we can assemble it ourselves, it's not science".
He was right, we can do it ourselves, but he was wrong, it's not easy at all
The complicated element of the TV shelf gave us a lot of trouble
All that's left is to install the drawers and it's ready to install the TV.

  • Solid focus and effort
You have a little bit of time and a lot to do. That’s not a good reason to be in a frantic rush.

Do your best to focus all your attention on one task and get it done before moving on. Worrying about what you need to do next won’t help what you’re doing now or what you’re doing next.

Few people ever have as much time as they would like. Even so, many people are able to accomplish all sorts of amazing things with the time they do have.

You can too, right here, right now. Just give good, quality attention to the work at hand.

Conditions are not ideal, perhaps you’ve been put in an unfair position, the task is difficult and complicated. Yet you have the ability to set aside all those factors you can’t control.

When you do that, the results can be almost magical. Without the frantic rush, with no agonizing over the difficulties, with solid focus and effort, there’s much you can achieve.

  • THE DIARY OF A CHRIST FOCUSED CHRISTIAN!

STILL ON LOT'S WIFE AND LOOKING BACK...
    =======================
*REASONS WHY WE OFTEN LOOK BACK !* [PART 2 B]
    """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
I hope I didn't keep us waiting today!

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. (Gen 19: 26)

    Remember Lot’s wife.
    (Luk 17: 32)

We parted with the promise of identifying some reasons why we find ourselves looking back oftentimes...you know,I said,*LOOKING BACK TAKES LESS THAN A SECOND* This usually happens when we *abandon watching*, either as a result of LUST or MAKE BELIEVE CONFIDENCE...over confidence.

WITHOUT ARGUMENT,*LOOKING BACK* HAS COSTED A LOT OF US,OUR GOD DESIGNATED LIVES!
LET'S CONSIDER SOME REASONS THAT CAN CAUSE OUR LOOKING BACK.

    Okay, here's the thing;

Looking back because we’re familiar with sin rather than salvation.

    Familiarity,they say breeds contempt.
We are by default, more at home in our *comfort zone* than uncharted territory. It’s more likely for us to look back when we are unfamiliar with where God is leading us, just like with Lot’s wife.
She is used in seeing and practicing sin in their city every single day. Sin was their point of reference. Sin was their *normal*. It was their usual way of responding to life. She lived her whole life in that city. Can we blame her? She was familiar with it, and she thinks she fits perfectly. So getting out of it definitely seems uncanny.

It's the same with us today...we ain't any different...the only difference may be our level of individual response. That lifestyle we have been used to,becomes our regular object of temptation... smoking, alcoholism, reveling, fornicating and adultery, mode of dressing and communication, yes,we will be longing to hangout with peers and friends at our regular joints...yes, generally, those sins that tied us down, that we are fleeing from.

Looking back because we are familiar with our past rather than our present.

This is like the point above, but really,it isn't.

It's one thing for God to be our present Help, and another thing for us to be a prisoner of our past.

This hits me home. I have had a painful childhood, a rough and dark teens, and an even more complicated young adulthood (even now, I'm yet a victim). Going through physical, emotional, and mental trauma created an isolated and numb heart. I know some of you can relate... THROUGH MY SHARED PERSONAL EXPERIENCES SO FAR, A LOT OF US WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN.

When I make decisions, my frame of reference is what I have experienced. If I realise that I have had bad experiences by choosing this or that, I avoid going for it. It seems to make me isolated and totally risk-free. But,am I happy? No. Am I sad? Also no. I just settle for what I feel is familiar and with that, I think I keep myself safe. I think. But no.

My past has been both a nightmare and a suffering. It wasn’t good to me, especially with my mental health. It is what has actually spurted me into this my emotionally depressive condition I frequently relapsed into . So it explains what I’ve been going through right now and why I’m inclined to write.

Looking back because we are familiar with ourselves rather than God Himself.

Let’s be honest. We want what we want, when we want it. We decide and act for our own intentions and desires. I get that. This is our life.

    And that’s the dangerous part.

Whether we like it or not, we may not know ourselves more than God. He sees and knows everything because He created you and me. Therefore, it is impossible for us to know ourselves better in any case. Even though you are a very self-aware person, human knowledge is still foolishness to God.

We were used to be the captain of our souls. We were used to steer the ship of our own future and set the sails for the desires of our hearts. Everything is in our hands and it feels good... but sometimes, it feels bad. We NEVER seem to agree with ourselves that we are limited.

The list goes on and on,but all the others are encapsulated in these three. Right. Next,we are going to look more deeply into the costs and implications of looking back.
May the Good Lord God Almighty NEVER EVER takes His Eyes off us, Amen !

  • Speaking of cars and the costs it brings. In a few months it's time for car maintenance. Not only oil change and filters, the timing belt needs to be replaced which is quite expensive. Sometimes I repair my car myself but this job is too complicated.
I'll have to visit a car mechanic.

  • The development of Web3 technology has been an exciting journey for the blockchain and cryptocurrency community. As the technology matures, developers are increasingly looking to build more secure and resilient systems that protect users’ data from malicious actors.

One important aspect of developing secure Web3 applications is transparency. By making code open source, developers can ensure that their work is being reviewed by other experts in the field who can identify potential vulnerabilities or security flaws before they become major issues. This level of openness also allows anyone to audit a project’s codebase if they suspect something suspicious going on behind closed doors.

However, while transparency is key when it comes to building secure web 3 systems, there may be times when less really could mean more in terms of security and resilience – especially where complex coding projects are concerned.. The reason for this lies with peer review: as complexity increases so too does the likelihood that errors will slip through unnoticed during a peer-review process due to its limited scope or insufficient expertise among reviewers (or both).

In order for peers reviewing codebases within Web3 projects to effectively identify any problems present within them , simpler coding solutions should always be preferred over overly complicated ones . By keeping things simple , not only does it make debugging easier but also reduces any chances that bugs might remain undetected during a review period .

Additionally , simplicity helps prevent unnecessary features from creeping into your system which often adds bloat without providing much value - thereby increasing attack surfaces unnecessarily . Furthermore , by reducing feature creep you minimize opportunities for attackers exploit weaknesses within your system since there's fewer places where such exploits could take place successfully .

All in all then less truly may be more when it comes down building robust web 3 applications ; so rather than trying cramming everything under one roof aim instead focus on creating simple yet effective solutions which keep user privacy at forefront all times whilst still ensuring maximum levels security throughout entire application stack!.

  • Agreement enabling satellite service for Android smartphone users
A new partnership between satellite phone maker Iridium and phone chip maker Qualcomm could open up a new world of connectivity for mobile phone users by allowing users of Android smartphones to use satellite. .

As a result of this agreement between the two companies, in places where mobile phone signals are not available, users will be able to send and receive messages by connecting their phones to satellites.

However, this benefit will be available only to those users whose phones run on the Android system and which have a Qualcomm chip installed.

This facility will initially be provided only for sending or receiving basic message i.e. text message in case of emergency i.e. emergency.

It should be noted that the Apple company has also announced that the satellite feature will be introduced in the iPhone 14 by September 2022.

British smartphone maker Bullitt has also beaten Apple to launch a satellite service. However, it has also announced to provide facility only for emergency messaging in certain places.

Under the agreement between Iridium and Qualcomm, the same facility will be offered to millions of smartphone users who do not have a specific brand of phone, but the company that manufactures the phone will have to provide this feature.

Why does the mobile phone signal and internet also disappear as soon as the electricity goes out in Pakistan?

Iridium is the first company to make satellite phone systems, sending its first satellite into space in 1997. As of 2019, Iridium had 75 satellites.

These satellites fly in space 780 km above the earth and can communicate with each other to transfer data.

Qualcomm has said that this feature called Snapdragon will only be included in the Premier chips for now and will not be available in cheaper phones.

However, later this service will be provided to tablets, laptops and even vehicles, which will not be limited to emergencies only. It is likely that a fee will be charged for this service.

Mobile phone connectivity through satellite is considered to be the next and future frontier of the world of communication which will solve a fundamental problem i.e. coverage, making communication possible even in areas where the signals of mobile phone companies are not available.

This problem becomes more complicated in rural and remote areas.

US billionaire Elon Musk's company Starlink is already working on providing wider coverage via satellite.

Satellite broadband is therefore faster and more reliable, but also more expensive than a cable or fiber connection.

How common communication via satellites will become in the future will also depend on legislation in different countries, as countries such as India and China have banned the use of satellite phones.

  • I have to post this because it is something that worries me a lot. I've been in somee for many years, I think 5 if I'm not mistaken and I know that some judge me for selling and they don't know what I'm selling and why. I had to withdraw some of my voting power out of necessity at home and that's what I sell weekly... With your likes I'm just getting back on my feet. I want to make it clear that I will always continue betting on somee because I am sure that this project will be successful. I am Venezuelan and you will see that there are many Venezuelans here trying to publish and generate content that helps them grow on the platform and get ahead. Those who also sell is because the situation in our country is getting worse. While you in the United States, Russia, Spain or any of those other countries whose purchasing power is higher, have the luxury of eating steaks, barbecue and going on trips for your vacations, we have to make maneuvers to eat meat, have parties or go to the beach on vacation (which is literally 1 hour from my house for example). I do not say this to generate controversy, but rather to raise awareness and be more empathetic with the Venezuelan community. Remember that one day we are up and we don't know when we have to be down. I fell into a great depression and anxiety, which I have not overcome and I have not been able to go to the doctor due to lack of resources. I'm not working, we're literally surviving, but I still ask for God's direction, because I need to hold on to something so I don't fall. This year I won't be able to go to Spain either because with my sister's illness everything got complicated, it's a stressful situation because the situation here is getting more and more serious. I don't want to hurt you, I never would. I just want you to know firsthand how our situation is so that we are not judged. And I tell you that when I leave I will invest about 1000 euros in Somee with my first salary to recover what I sold and more. Later I know that many more blessings will come. Maybe, at that time there will be many who will like me, but can I tell you something? You don't really know the impact of your vote in the life of a Venezuelan, you could literally be saving our life and that of our family. I am not going to upload a photo of my empty refrigerator, nor of my house, I hope that my words have an impact on you. I appreciate you very much and I will always be in Somee sharing the success or failure (I hope it is success). Blessings for all.
