Well, today was one of those days when I spent most of my time in the kitchen. But hey, it was my husband's birthday, and I wanted to make sure he had a great time. So, I put on my apron, rolled up my sleeves, and got to work. 👩‍🍳 I started off by making some homemade mayonnaise with boiled eggs. I have to admit, I got a little carried away and ended up with more mayo than necessary but he loves it so it will not get waste. And hey, at least he won't be tempted to buy any from the store for a while! Next up, I decided to make a roasted red pepper roll with cashew cheese. Now, it seems complicated but actually it’s very easy. Well, let's say that the end result looked pretty good. And hey, it's the thought that counts, right? I also made some turkey rolls and all kinds of keto dishes. I mean, who doesn't love a good keto dish? And of course, the pièce de résistance, the birthday cake! It has to be a keto too, because let's face it, he wouldn’t want anything else. Mission accomplished! 😂 All in all, my hours in the kitchen were spent in a very productive way. Another working weekend -helping a friend assemble furniture When I told him to arrange the assembly along with the furniture, he told me: "It's easy, we can assemble it ourselves, it's not science". He was right, we can do it ourselves, but he was wrong, it's not easy at all 😀 The complicated element of the TV shelf gave us a lot of trouble 😅 All that's left is to install the drawers and it's ready to install the TV.

That lifestyle we have been used to,becomes our regular object of temptation... smoking, alcoholism, reveling,fornicating and adultery, mode of dressing and communication,yes,we will be longing to hangout with peers and friends at our regular joints...yes, generally,those sins that tied us down,that we are fleeing from. 👉Looking back because we are familiar with our past rather than our present. This is like the point above,but really,it isn't. It's one thing for God to be our present Help, and another thing for us to be a prisoner of our past. This hits me home. I have had a painful childhood, a rough and dark teens,and an even more complicated young adulthood (even now, I'm yet a victim). Going through physical, emotional, and mental trauma created an isolated and numb heart. I know some of you can relate... THROUGH MY SHARED PERSONAL EXPERIENCES SO FAR, A LOT OF US WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN. When I make decisions, my frame of reference is what I have experienced. If I realise that I have had bad experiences by choosing this or that, I avoid going for it. It seems to make me isolated and totally risk-free. But,am I happy? No. Am I sad? Also no. I just settle for what I feel is familiar and with that, I think I keep myself safe. I think.But no. My past has been both a nightmare and a suffering. It wasn’t good to me, especially with my mental health. It is what has actually spurted me into this my emotionally depressive condition I frequently relapsed into . So it explains what I’ve been going through right now and why I’m inclined to write. 👉Looking back because we are familiar with ourselves rather than God Himself. Let’s be honest. We want what we want, when we want it. We decide and act for our own intentions and desires. I get that. This is our life. And that’s the dangerous part. Whether we like it or not, we may not know ourselves more than God. He sees and knows everything because He created you and me. Therefore, it is impossible for us to know ourselves better in any case. Even though you are a very self-aware person, human knowledge is still foolishness to God. We were used to be the captain of our souls. We were used to steer the ship of our own future and set the sails for the desires of our hearts. Everything is in our hands and it feels good... but sometimes, it feels bad. We NEVER seem to agree with ourselves that we are limited. The list goes on and on,but all the others are encapsulated in these three. Right. Next,we are going to look more deeply into the costs and implications of looking back. I have to post this because it is something that worries me a lot. I've been in somee for many years, I think 5 if I'm not mistaken and I know that some judge me for selling and they don't know what I'm selling and why. I had to withdraw some of my voting power out of necessity at home and that's what I sell weekly... With your likes I'm just getting back on my feet. I want to make it clear that I will always continue betting on somee because I am sure that this project will be successful. I am Venezuelan and you will see that there are many Venezuelans here trying to publish and generate content that helps them grow on the platform and get ahead. Those who also sell is because the situation in our country is getting worse. While you in the United States, Russia, Spain or any of those other countries whose purchasing power is higher, have the luxury of eating steaks, barbecue and going on trips for your vacations, we have to make maneuvers to eat meat, have parties or go to the beach on vacation (which is literally 1 hour from my house for example). I do not say this to generate controversy, but rather to raise awareness and be more empathetic with the Venezuelan community. Remember that one day we are up and we don't know when we have to be down. I fell into a great depression and anxiety, which I have not overcome and I have not been able to go to the doctor due to lack of resources. I'm not working, we're literally surviving, but I still ask for God's direction, because I need to hold on to something so I don't fall.
