[MATT.12:34-37] 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 We should be very mindful of our utterances. This is because they will always be used against us by either God or the devil. *NOW, IN THE CASE OF GOD, SPOKEN OR NOT, HE KNOWS WHAT GOES ON IN OUR VERY HEARTS, BECAUSE HE IS OMNISCIENT;* And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, (Act 1: 24) Read also 1Kgs 8:39. But our concern today, is the devil making use of our words spoken in moments of carelessness against us. Like I said earlier, only God is Omniscient. He knows everything, past, present, and future. But the devil isn't omniscient and so can't read our minds. So,he is always listening attentively to what we say,to see what he can use to work against us. Satan is a CREATED BEING, like the angels, like us. We are all created by God. Omniscience is an attribute that alone belongs to God. Satan is not omniscient So Satan (and his demons) cannot read our mind, hear our thoughts, or know our heart. However, since they’ve been around for a long time watching human activity (around 6,000 years), they are pretty good at predicting human behavior. They can only predict what we are thinking or what we will do next. They’ve had a lot of practice and are good at it, but our silent prayers, our thoughts, and our hearts belong to God and are safe with Him. HEREIN LIES THE DANGER OF CARELESS AND THOUGHTLESS UTTERANCES! 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 The devil has no love lost for Man,though he has successfully deceived many of us that he loves us more than God does,whereas,he loathes Man with a passion. You may ask why? It's because of God's interest in Man as His Masterpiece,and the thought of Man living in the beautiful place he missed. He is also jealous of Man’s nature (especially his procreative ability, which is something angels cannot do) and the responsibilities given to Adam (Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 8:3-6). So,his entire being is totally devoted to how he can destroy Man and cause him to suffer the same fate with him in hell. It's the same reason he tries so hard to make life miserable for us. Of course we all know Job's story. He envied God's Favour upon his life. He was mistakenly being presumptive that Job feared God because of His protection and provision to him. Satan falsely thought that Job would curse God after all his suffering and calamity (Job 1:11). God proved that Satan was completely wrong as Job did not sin with his lips amidst his miserable circumstances (Job 2:10). So, it is clear, Satan is not omniscient. However,Job made it possible for the devil to presume,though he failed; 25. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. 26. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came. (Job 3: 25-26) You see. Job must have either spoken his fear out unconsciously or acted in a way that made satan to know he was afraid that GOD'S BLESSINGS IN HIS LIFE IS JUST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THAT SOMEHOW, TROUBLE WILL LOCATE HIM ONE DAY! Today,most of us, especially those who have things going well for them equally nurse this fear secretly. My objective is to let us know that some of the afflictions and trials we are passing through in life stems from our careless utterances in the past that devil is using as a legal document against us...we may have forgotten,but he didn't forget...he keeps an excellent network of records. Let me give an example. I know of a fervent member of a church,a dedicated christian with an equally on fire for God,of a husband,who remained childless for several years after marriage...with no medical negatives. But the reason for childlessness was known when after a marathon of prayer sections,God revealed a comment she made as a teen in secondary school that she doesn't want to pass through the rigours of child birth and would prefer to not have children and if her future husband insists,then they will adopt. She forgot it,but the devil kept records and worked with it. In hard and frustrating times, during lively moments,and even in moments of momentary pleasure,etc, we have made careless remarks that we didn't take seriously,but the devil heard and worked with. Many destinies have been cut short or destroyed by careless talk. I have a lot of PRACTICAL EXAMPLES of what wrong utterances have done to people I know to share,but I can't. Many of them are still alive, and others who have transited have their loved ones around, and as such, it will be unfair to publish them,no matter how I redact them,they will know. Even I,me... I'm a living example of one who suffered the consequences of idle and careless talks of the past, until revelations pulled me through...but the scars still remain...a forever reminder. NO MATTER HOW FRUSTRATED WITH WE ARE, IF WE DON'T SPEAK OUT, THE DEVIL WILL ONLY GUESS AND PRESUME...AND DEVIL CAN'T WORK WITH PRESUMPTIONS, EXCEPT SET A TRAP WITH THEM. ************************************ But the moment,we speak the words out,they become a legal document in the hands of satan that he presents before God to accuse us and seek for permission to hurt us,just like Job. Satan has to get approval to attack Satan is not sovereign, nor is he omnipotent. He cannot attack us or harm us in ANY way without God’s approval! Think about the story of Job and how Satan was trying to attack him. He had to get God’s approval before doing so. Christians are protected. Non-Christians are NOT protected. Satan can do what he wants to nonbelievers anytime he wants, but for the Christian, we are protected by God, having the Holy Spirit living inside of us, protecting us. It’s like a big bubble of protection against evil. In the story of Job, God DID allow Satan to harm Job, but it was for Job’s good and when all was said and done, Job was blessed more at the end of his life than at the beginning (Job 42:12). Sometimes God will allow Satan to harm us, but if He does, it’s only for our good. To help us, to edify us, to sanctify us, to cleanse us, to make us better Christians, full of strength, purity, and faith. God never does anything to us without it being for our good (Romans 8:28). That is the promise to the Christian. So, I beseech thee, dear friends(including myself),to be careful of our utterances, especially when we are emotionally traumatized by hurtful circumstances; Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. (Col 4: 6) The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. (Pro 15: 2) We may be talking more about this as the Holy Spirit leads.
