  • Klaus Schwab wants to stop the retreat of globalisation and global governance with a new form of globalisation and global governance
    Rhoda WilsonDecember 19, 2023
Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret’s book ‘Covid-19: The Great Reset’ identified “the global governance free fall” as an existential challenge and if we do not collaborate “we are doomed.”

“Nation states make global governance possible (one leads the other),” the book states. “The more nationalism and isolationism pervade the global polity, the greater the chance that global governance loses its relevance and becomes ineffective. Sadly, we are now at this critical juncture. Put bluntly, we live in a world in which nobody is really in charge.”

The book defines “global governance” as the cooperation among transnational actors to respond to global problems and “globalisation” as a broad and vague notion that refers to the global exchange between nations of goods, services, people, capital and data.

Although global governance is defined as a different concept, they are intertwined and the reasons for its “free fall” are the same as those for the retreat of globalisation.

The solution to the retreat from globalisation, Schwab and Malleret said, was a new form of globalisation which required policies and effective global governance.

Earlier this month, the US deep state’s Council on Foreign Relations publicised what they proposed to do about the rise in anti-globalisation through two interviews. One was with Peter Trubowitz, an associate fellow at the UK deep state’s Chatham House. The other was with Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund.

The general outcome of both was that the plan was to counteract anti-globalisation with a different form of globalisation. Trubowitz suggested that what needs to be done is “to re-imagine the relationship between foreign and domestic policies” while Georgieva suggested “concentrating on the areas where, without working together, we are doomed.” The examples she gave as “we are doomed” without globalisation were “climate change,” the “green transition” and debt.

Read more: Council on Foreign Relations tries to combat rise of anti-globalisation

Not only were Trubowitz and Georgieva parroting each other in the ideas and some of the language they used, but both were parroting Klaus Schwab and his book ‘The Great Reset’.

Plans to tackle Anti-Globalisation with a New Globalisation

After having to admit that it is inevitable that “some deglobalisation will happen,” the authors of ‘The Great Reset’ attempted to instil fear about anti-globalisation.

“A hasty retreat from globalisation would entail trade and currency wars, damaging every country’s economy, provoking social havoc and triggering ethno- or clan nationalism,” the authors claimed. (See The Great Reset pg. 81)

They proposed “managing” the retreat of globalisation with a new form of globalisation. Written using the verbiage of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, the new globalisation, according to Schwab and Malleret, will be “a much more inclusive and equitable form that … makes it sustainable, both socially and environmentally.”

They said this requires policy solutions and some form of effective global governance.

Their policy solutions were “addressed in the concluding chapter.” Taking these words literally, the concluding chapter is ‘Chapter 3: Individual Reset’.

Chapter 3 suggests “redefining our humanness” and “changing priorities” as “solutions.” Under the heading ‘Redefining our Humanness’ is a section titled ‘Moral Choices’. It is a mystery why Schwab and Malleret think they have the authority to redefine our humanness and decide our moral choices. But in doing so they have made their ideology clear.

Under “moral choices” the two discussed how to maximise the common good:

[It is] a moral choice about whether to prioritise the qualities of individualism or those that favour the destiny of the community. It is an individual as well as a collective choice (that can be expressed through elections), but the example of the pandemic shows that highly individualistic societies are not very good at expressing solidarity.

… If (but it is a big “if”) in the future we abandon the posture of self-interest that pollutes so many of our social interactions, we may be able to pay more attention to issues like inclusivity and fairness.

The Great Reset, Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret, July 2020, pg. 154 and 157none
As we have said before, the term “the common good” and its ugly sister “the greater good” represent collectivism which is found in socialist, communist and fascist movements. These movements use “the common good” as a tool for social control.

The authors don’t explain why there is a need for an “individual reset,” they simply assumed it was a consequence of the covid “pandemic.” However, as they did throughout the book, they used collectivism as a tool of social control. “If, as human beings, we do not collaborate to confront our existential challenges (the environment and the global governance free fall, among others), we are doomed,” they claimed. (See The Great Reset pg. 152)

World Economic Forum’s Solution for the Precariat Class

The threat of anti-globalisation to Globalists’ plans had been recognised long before Schwab and Malleret published their book. The Great Reset noted two “momentous markers” that demonstrated the retreat of globalisation.

“The rise of nationalism makes the retreat of globalisation inevitable in most of the world – an impulse particularly notable in the West. The vote for Brexit and the election of President Trump on a protectionist platform are two momentous markers of the Western backlash against globalisation,” the two authors wrote. (See The Great Reset pg. 78)

The EU or Brexit referendum which decided that the UK should leave the European Union and the election of Donald Trump as president of the USA both took place in 2016.

The following year Schwab delivered the main address at the World Government Summit. “Let me give a short rundown on where we stand in our world and what directions we should choose,” he pontificated.

First on his list was deglobalisation. “First, we are at historical crossroads. So, there’s one post sign, which directs us into what we called – to continue the way of what some people call neoliberalism – global cooperation. But we face a backlash of millions of people, particularly in the West, who feel that globalisation is not working to their advantage,” he said.

In a self-defeating way, later in his speech after he mentioned some arbitrary benefits of globalisation, Schwab said that “globalisation has created a new economic equation; skills, labour is less in demand, which means if we look at the pie of GDP, the rent for labour is low and those who have capital, those who have new ideas have benefited more from globalisation.”

This sort of sums up one of the reasons why billions, not millions, feel that globalisation is not working to their advantage. Effectively, globalisation means the self-proclaimed global elite get richer and own more while the poor get poorer and own less. Even Schwab had to admit it: “For this reason, what we have seen in the elections in the United States, in the Brexit vote, this anger of people against globalisation and against the elites, which they feel have profited from globalisation.”

The second signpost of where the world was, according to Schwab, was the “re-erecting of walls, into, probably, a world which is more anchored in yesterday, and a world which probably is characterised by fragility and hostility.”

What exactly Schwab meant when he used the term “re-erecting walls” perhaps only he knows. But in a broad sense, this again could be taken as referring to countries turning inward and so turning against globalisation.

“I would suggest that we do not choose either of those two ways,” he declared.

He then gave a sales pitch for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. “The Fourth Industrial Revolution will change our lives, will change how we live, how we consume, and how we work,” Schwab said. He listed drones, self-driving cars, artificial intelligence and new methods to manipulate genes as no longer being just an idea but a reality.

There is a new class of people, Schwab said, called the precariats; “people who feel in a precarious situation who do not know whether they have enough when they get older, whether they can pay the medical bills.”

In a 2016 article, the World Economic Forum accused the precariat of being “the new global class fuelling the rise of populism.”

According to the Oxford Review, modern-day “gig economy” workers, mainly freelancers without long-term or permanent contracts and people on short-term and zero-hours contacts are all considered to be precariats. We have to ask if the new class of people Schwab refers to has been created by the activities of the so-called global elites at organisations such as the World Economic Forum.

To address the issues the precariat class are experiencing and those who don’t know what the purpose of their life is or how they fit into the world as “global citizens,” the self-styled global elite and saviour of the world Klaus Schwab proposed some paradigms.

After rejecting neoliberalism and the dismantling of the current globalist system as options, Schwab suggested that “we should prepare ourselves for the Fourth Industrial Revolution” and integrate the multi-stakeholder concept on which his World Economic Forum was built.

As another possibility, Schwab wanted the Summit’s attendees to embrace “the Eastern philosophy.” In the West, Schwab said, there is a concept which protects the individual against the collective. Conversely, in the East is a concept to protect the collective against the individual, he said.

World Government Summit: WGS17 Session: The Challenges of Globalism, 9 March 2017
The problem with the “Eastern philosophy” as Schwab calls it, is who decides what the collective needs protecting from and the protection measures that should be taken?

    Elected Governments are “Old Fashioned”

A few months earlier, Schwab showcased Google founder Sergey Brin’s dystopian ideas at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting. Schwab introduced the topic of the predictive power of artificial intelligence (“AI”).

“Digital technologies [now] have an analytical power … the next step could be to go into prescriptive mode, which means you do not even have to have elections anymore because you can already predict … and afterwards say: ‘Why do we need elections because we know what the result will be’.”

“You might further ask, why do we need to have elected leaders because you might as well have all the decisions made,” Brin said.

Schwab pressed the issue of the world being run by unelected decision-makers: He called the process of governments “old fashioned.” He cited the example of governments hearing about a technological development and then involving regulatory agencies, parliamentary commissions and then finally regulations being debated in and passed by parliaments.

“This [process] is absolutely not suited anymore to our new technologies,” he said. “We need much more agile interaction between business, regulators, civil society and so on”.

Brin added that he thinks the relationship between governments and business is often antagonistic, which, he said, is unhealthy. “Not only should we try to tackle things more quickly but also in a real collaborative way,” Brin said.

World Economic Forum: Davos 2017 – An Insight, An Idea with Sergey Brin, 19 January 2017
This brings us back to the quote from The Great Reset noted at the beginning of this article. Collective choice, The Great Reset said, can be expressed through elections. “But the example of the pandemic shows that highly individualistic societies are not very good at expressing solidarity.”

As with Schwab’s proposed use for predictive artificial intelligence, they are using jargon to accustom people to the idea of them removing our ability to make a choice and allowing self-appointed elites to make our choices – for the common good.

Schwab’s version of “Eastern philosophy” is that business and like-minded profiteers, most likely through the World Economic Forum, will decide for “the collective.” In a nutshell, this is Schwab and his cronies’ plan for a new form of globalisation with its policy solutions and effective global governance.

From the billions of us, no thanks, Schwab.

World Government Summit: WGS17 Session: The Challenges of Globalism, 9 March 2017 The problem with the “Eastern philosophy” as Schwab calls it, is who decides what the collective needs protecting from and the protection measures that should be taken? Elected Governments are “Old Fashioned” A few months earlier, Schwab showcased Google founder Sergey Brin’s dystopian ideas at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting. Schwab introduced the topic of the predictive power of artificial intelligence (“AI”). “Digital technologies [now] have an analytical power … the next step could be to go into prescriptive mode, which means you do not even have to have elections anymore because you can already predict … and afterwards say: ‘Why do we need elections because we know what the result will be’.” “You might further ask, why do we need to have elected leaders because you might as well have all the decisions made,” Brin said. World Economic Forum: Davos 2017 – An Insight, An Idea with Sergey Brin, 19 January 2017 This brings us back to the quote from The Great Reset noted at the beginning of this article. Collective choice, The Great Reset said, can be expressed through elections. “But the example of the pandemic shows that highly individualistic societies are not very good at expressing solidarity.” As with Schwab’s proposed use for predictive artificial intelligence, they are using jargon to accustom people to the idea of them removing our ability to make a choice and allowing self-appointed elites to make our choices – for the common good. Ideological falsehood, multiple manslaughter, marketing of an imperfect dangerous drug. These are the main charges for which the former Minister of Health of the Italian Republic Roberto Speranza, now a deputy of the Democratic Party, is being investigated following the vaccination campaign with mRNA and mDNA gene sera for Co vid-19.

The announcement was made by the program “Fuori dal Coro” on Rete 4, a channel of the Mediaset group of the heirs of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, but it did not have much coverage in the national media which immediately relaunched the statements of his lawyer on the request for archiving instead of examining the merits of the investigation resulting from the complaint by the State Police union OSA, led by the national secretary Antonio Porto, and by other organizations for the protection of vaccinated people.

Former Italian PM Berlusconi DIED. After Two Pathologies Typical of the Covid Vaccines’ Serious Adverse Reactions

The investigation was opened by the public prosecutor of Rome, Francesco Lo Voi, who also entered the former director of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), Nicola Magrini, into the register of suspects.

The Italian AifaLeaks on Co vid Vaccines’ Safety

Among the alleged crimes highlighted in the complaint there are in fact alleged concealments of the effectiveness and safety of Co vid vaccines that emerged from some AIFA emails released by the television broadcast in March 2023. The inquiry was in fact called “AifaLeaks”.

From them emerged the will of the Italian Medicines Agency, a body controlled by the Ministry of Health, not to disseminate various crucial information: that on “fragile patients are not among the unstudied populations” and that an “excess of cardiovascular mortality for the AstraZeneca vaccine”.

VACCINI KILLER AI FRAGILI SENZA SICUREZZA: SPERANZA INDAGATO, MA SCHILLACI IGNORATO. Denuncia dei Poliziotti anche sui Sieri Genici mRNA quali Farmaci Pericolosi

These safety alerts would have been hidden to “not kill the vaccine” in the first months of high adverse reactions, a concern expressed by an email from Magrini which obviously caused a stir (more details inside article in Italian version).

The Statement of Police union OSA on the Complaint’s Crimes

In a press release Antonio Porto, national general secretary of the Police union O.S.A. , among the signatories of the complaint, specified that there are other crimes being investigated by the judiciary in addition to those mentioned in the television report:

«The report aired exclusively on Fuori dal Coro, with which the registration of the former Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and the former AIFA Director Nicola Magrini in the register of suspects was announced for the alleged crime referred to in the articles: 443 c.p. (trade or administration of faulty medicines), 445 of the criminal code (administration of medicines in a manner dangerous to public health), 374 bis of the criminal code. (false declarations or attestations in documents intended for judicial authorities), 479 c.p. (false ideology), 575 (murder). Crimes committed during the vaccination campaign».

Antonio Porto, national general secretary of the Police union O.S.A
«After Roberto Speranza was registered in the register of suspects for Roberto Speranza, as Minister at the time of the disputed facts, the Rome Prosecutor’s Office sent a request for authorization to the Court of Ministers, the content of which we do not yet know – adds Porto – The opening of the investigation is the result of the complaint filed in May 2023 by the Free Lawyers (ALI) under the power of attorney of the Listen to Me Committee, of the Association of Associated Security Operators (OSA Italia), by Antonio Porto ational general secretary of the O.S.A. Police (who replaced the Secretariat Provincial LES Caserta); of the Democratic Financiers Union and of the former White Senator Laura Granato”.

«In the last few hours, ANSA issued a statement from Roberto Speranza’s defense lawyer who reported that the Rome Prosecutor’s Office had already requested the dismissal of his client. The signatories of the complaint await official communication from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rome – continues the statement – We will not stop and we will oppose any request for dismissal in every forum, but at this moment we need the strength of all of you to make people heard who deserves their indignation in the event of a possible dismissal of the investigation. Irrefutable elements have been brought to the attention of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rome».

“Toxic Nanoforms inside Pfizer-Biontech Covid Vaccine”. Vital Study by Italian Biochemist on US Journal of Virology highlights an Alleged Crime

Complaint on crimes 443 and 445 concerning the safety of drugs is based on the studies of the Italian biochemist Gabriel Segalla who was the first to detect the toxicity of the lipid nanoforms of the Comirnaty gene serum produced by Pfizer-Biontech and recently detected further critical issues related to muscle inoculation by claiming that EMA could not fail to know them and therefore would have been aware of them.

“European Medicines Agency Knew Toxicity of Pfizer Covid Vaccine”. Bombshell Study Published in US by an Italian BioChemist on Dangers mRNA-LNPs

If, regarding the adverse reactions and the alleged concealments regarding myocarditis, Speranza can rely on the very serious responsibilities assumed by the EMA and the AIFA, drug regulatory bodies responsible for verifying their safety, the problem concerning the absence of evidence of efficacy and safety in frail patients even appears reductive because it must be placed in the broader context of dozens of other failures to verify safety despite which the American health authorities FDA, CDC, and the European ones EMA and AIFA authorized these vaccines without genotoxicity studies, carcinogenicity and, in fact, on immunocompromised people.

The Ongoing Vaccination despite the Lack of Studies on Safety

Not only, the medicines regulators then authorized the Comirnaty and Spikevax mRNA genetic sera but they continue to consider them safe in the current vaccination campaign despite the ongoing lack of studies those critical and dangerous issues.

In light of the judiciary’s investigation into the former minister Speranza, it is also necessary to ask ourselves about the possible and current responsibilities of the Italian Ministry of Health led by Orazio Schillaci who was consultant to Speranza himself and also rector of the University of Rome Tor Vergata through which he joined partnerships with the Big Pharma of Covid vaccines inside the government project of National center for the development of gene therapy and drugs with RNA technology.

MINISTRO SCHILLACI SPECULA SU BIG PHARMA FINANZIATA DA GATES. €700mila Investiti in Biomediche USA che Testano anche Vaccini DNA Covid

Not only. Schillaci himself, in another macroscopic conflict of interest, has invested in a new Big Pharma which is experimenting with an mRNA genetic serum promoted by Bill Gates…

The famous oncologist who lead Italian Health Ministry further ended up in the media storm after an international scientific investigation relaunched by Science journal on possible misconduct found in a cancer public research.

11,470 killed*, including 4,707 children, and more than 29,000 wounded in Gaza
More than 200 Palestinians killed and 2,750 injured in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem
Israel revises its estimated October 7 death toll down from 1,400 to 1,200
*This figure covers the casualties from October 7 to November 16. Due to breakdowns in communication networks within the Gaza Strip (particularly in northern Gaza), the Gaza Ministry of Health has not been able to regularly update its tolls.

    Key Developments

Israeli forces ordered the immediate evacuation of Al-Shifa’ hospital on Saturday morning — leaving only 120 patients in critical state and five doctors on the premises.
Civilians flee Al-Shifa’ carrying people in wheelchairs and gurneys, amid reports that Israeli forces barred men from entering southern Gaza.

Palestinians raise the alarm about growing Israeli settler threat of takeover of Palestinian homes in the Old City’s Armenian Quarter in occupied East Jerusalem.
Hezbollah and other armed groups in Lebanon continue to trade fire with Israeli forces, as Lebanese media reports several wounded and an aluminum factory hit in southern Lebanon.
The International Criminal Court said on Friday that five countries had sent referrals requesting it investigate whether Israel’s actions in the wake of October 7 constituted crimes.
Israel’s Channel 12 says Hamas fighters who staged Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 most likely weren’t aware that a music festival was taking place in Reim.

Staff at Gaza City’s Al-Shifa’ hospital said that the Israeli army had called for the medical complex — which has been occupied by Israeli forces since Wednesday after days of siege — to be evacuated “within the hour” on Saturday morning, causing widespread panic among the estimated 7,000 medical staff, patients, and civilians who have taken refuge in the biggest medical complex of the Gaza Strip.

While the Israeli army Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee denied the report, Israeli forces have repeatedly called for Al-Shifa’ to be evacuated in past weeks, amid its unconvincing claims that the hospital sits above a Hamas command center.

“I categorically deny these false allegations [from the Israeli army] … I am telling you we were forced to leave by gunpoint,” Director-General of hospitals in Gaza Mohammed Zaqout told Al Jazeera. An AFP journalist at Al-Shifa’ meanwhile reported that Israeli forces issued the call for evacuation over loudspeaker.

WAFA news agency reported that hundreds of people waving white flags, pushing wounded in wheelchairs and gurneys, left the hospital on foot towards southern Gaza, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been forced to flee over the past 43 days.

But medical sources on the ground have said it is “impossible” to evacuate everyone from the hospital, and that 120 critically wounded or particularly fragile patients were left in the hospital, along with five doctors.

The hospital had notably been caring for 39 premature babies, whose incubators ran out of power last week. Munir al-Barsh, the general-director of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said a fourth infant had died Friday, and that five of the remaining 35 babies were severely ill, amid lack of access to electricity, medical supplies, food, and safe drinking water. At least 24 patients at Al-Shifa’ have died in the past 24 hours.

Al-Bursh also accused Israeli forces on Friday of taking the bodies of at least 18 Palestinians — who had been left in the hospital courtyard for days as Israeli snipers prevented people from burying them — and took them to an unknown location

As of midday on Saturday, Al-Shifa’ director Mohammed Abu Salmiya told Al Jazeera that the hospital was almost completely deserted, with Israeli soldiers in “total control” of the medical complex.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses told Al Jazeera that Israeli forces had set up a checkpoint on Salah el-Din Street, one of the two main roads used by Palestinians fleeing northern Gaza, and detained men, only allowing women and children to head south.

Deadly bombings hit Gaza schools, Israel allows tiny amounts of fuel in

As has been the case for more than 42 days, Israeli airstrikes have continued to pummel the tiny Gaza Strip — both in the north, where Israel has also been carrying out a ground invasion, but also in the south, where Israeli officials have repeatedly called on Palestinian civilians to evacuate for their “safety”.

The director of Al-Wafa hospital and elderly care home, was among those killed in an airstrike in the al-Zahra neighborhood of Gaza City.

In northern and central Gaza, including Gaza City, deadly airstrikes were reported in al-Qasasib, the UNRWA-run al-Fakhura and al-Falah schools, Beit Lahia, Deir al-Balah, Jabalia refugee camp, Nuseirat refugee camp, the Grand Mosque in al-Maghazi refugee camp, and in the vicinity of the Indonesian hospital.

Initial reports by Al Jazeera estimated that 50 people had been killed by the bombing of al-Fakhura school in Jabalia refugee camp. Another strike in Jabalia reportedly killed 32 people.

In southern Gaza, at least 26 people, many of them children, were killed by Israeli airstrikes on residential buildings in Khan Younis. A cultural center was also reported bombed in Rafah.

Due to the breakdown of communication services, particularly in northern Gaza, the Palestinian Ministry of Health says it has been facing “significant difficulties” in updating its data regarding death tolls for the past week. Numbers issued cannot take into account the full scope of devastation, as untold numbers of dead are unable to be retrieved from the rubble, whether due to the presence of Israeli ground forces in northern Gaza, or the lack of fuel and communication services affecting rescue teams’ ability to be on the scene quickly and with all necessary materiel.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces are now dropping their pretense of maintaining a “safe zone” in southern Gaza. “We are determined to keep moving forward. This will happen wherever Hamas is, which includes the southern Gaza Strip,” Army spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Friday. “It will happen at a time, place, and under conditions that are favorable to us.” The Financial Times quoted Israeli army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi on Friday as saying that “as far as we are concerned, more and more regions [will be targeted].”

FT further reported that the Israeli army had dropped thousands of leaflets over some neighborhoods on Khan Younis telling people to evacuate their homes, claiming that it would set up a “safe zone” in a 14-square-kilometer area in southwest Gaza — a unilateral move that has already been rejected by the heads of all major U.N. humanitarian agencies.

United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said on Friday that “the current Israeli proposal for a so-called ‘safe zone’ is untenable: the zone is neither safe nor feasible for the number of people in need.”

Türk also hinted at the need for an international investigation against Israel, as the International Criminal Court said on Friday that five countries had sent referrals requesting it investigate whether Israel’s actions in the wake of October 7 constituted crimes.

“No-one is above the law. Breaches of international humanitarian law – even war crimes – committed by one party do not, ever, absolve the other from compliance with the principles of the law of war and their human rights obligations,” Türk said. “All serious allegations of multiple and profound breaches of international humanitarian and human rights law – whoever commits them – demand rigorous investigation and full accountability.”

“Where national authorities prove unwilling or unable to carry out such investigations, and where there are contested narratives on particularly significant incidents, international investigation is called for.”

The Gaza Strip was already one of the most densely populated places on earth before the mass displacement of 1.5 million of its 2.3 million inhabitants in the past 43 days. A number of Israeli officials have not hidden their desire to expel Palestinians from parts or all of Gaza altogether. A senior U.N. official told FT that they had warned the United States of “a Nakba 2”, in reference to the 750,000 Palestinians who were forcibly displaced in 1948.

“We do not believe the Israelis will allow those displaced from the north to go back,” the official said.

Telecommunications had partially returned to Gaza on Friday, after a limited amount of fuel was allowed in the Strip, the Palestinian Authority minister of telecommunications and information technology said. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) noted that this was the fourth communications blackout in Gaza since October 7, but the first caused by a lack of fuel.

Israel’s war cabinet decided on Friday to begin allowing two trucks of fuel a day into the besieged Gaza Strip starting on Saturday — only 2 to 4 percent of the amount that entered Gaza daily before the war, The Times of Israel reported.

The cabinet said the move would “enable the minimal maintenance necessary for water, sewer and sanitary systems to prevent pandemics that could spread to the entire area, hurting residents of the Strip as well as our own forces and potentially spreading into Israel as well.”

Mentioning pressure from the U.S. government, the statement added that the limited entry of fuel would also “offer Israel the necessary diplomatic maneuvering room to eliminate Hamas.”

Despite the self-interested reasoning put forward by the war cabinet, which includes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and Minister without portfolio Benny Gantz, the decision has sparked outrage from among the most extreme members of Netanyahu’s far-right government.

“So long as our hostages don’t even get a visit from the Red Cross, there is no sense in giving the enemy humanitarian gifts,” the Times of Israel quoted National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir as saying.

These statements come as World Health Organization (WHO) representative in the Occupied Palestinian Territory Richard Peeperkorn said on Friday that Gaza’s health system was “on its knees” while faced with “endless need”. According to the WHO, 75 percent of hospitals in Gaza were non-functional as of Friday. The remaining 11 hospitals were only “partially operational and admitting patients with extremely limited services”.

Seven Palestinians killed in West Bank, East Jerusalem under threat

While most international attention has been focused on Gaza, violence continued to rage on in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, with Türk saying on Friday that he was “ringing the loudest possible alarm bell about the West Bank.”

An Israeli drone bombed the Fatah party headquarters in Balata refugee camp in the northern West Bank on Friday night, killing five Palestinians, identified at Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades commander Mohammed Zuhd, Mohammed al-Musaimi, Mohammed Hashash, Mohammed Mustafa, and Ali Faraj.

WAFA news agency reported that, following the airstrike, Israeli forces went on to blow up a home and destroy roads with a bulldozer in Balata.

At least one other Palestinian was killed in the occupied West Bank on Saturday morning, identified as Omar Shahrouri during an Israeli army raid in Tubas during which two other Palestinians were wounded.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Jamal Mahmoud Masharqa from Jenin refugee camp succumbed on Friday to wounds he had sustained during an Israeli raid on November 9.

Confrontations between armed Palestinian resistance groups and Israeli forces were reported overnight in Balata, Tubas, Yabad, and Jericho.

Meanwhile, Palestinians were reported wounded by Israeli forces or Israeli settlers in Kafr Dan, Khirbet Tana, Dhahariya, Masafer Yatta, Burin, and Hebron. At least 38 Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces overnight across the West Bank

Israeli forces reportedly fired tear gas into a school in occupied East Jerusalem’s Issawiya neighborhood on Friday, attacking teachers and students and leaving at least three students with broken bones.

Israeli forces and settlers have meanwhile been escalating threats and violence against Palestinian residents of the Old City’s Armenian Quarter, in what has been described as an “existential threat” following a deal that could reportedly see 25 percent of the quarter sold to settlers, in violation of international law.

On our roadtrip to Utah a couple years backs one of our #boondocking sites as we were returning brought us close to this #NationalHistoricSite. I've visited it a few times way back in my life, so I wanted AlphaHippie to see it and to see how much it had eroded since my last visit. I was surprised to see how little erosion there was. The landscape out here in the Western part of Nebraska's Panhandle is quite flat and wide open. Because of this, not only do the winds and rains erode these fragile features, but lightning strikes take their toll as well. The spire itself used to rise into a sharp point, which is fully blunted now.

What makes this feature a #NationalTreasure is that it was used as a #Landmark for travelers along not only the #MormonTrail, but the #OregonTrail and #CaliforniaTrail(s) as well. There is a plethora of mentions in historical writings and diaries mentioning it. The #HistoricSite itself is quite bland. It's a short drive up a dirt road where it dead ends into a small parking area with an cemetery on one side and the Rock on the other. There is a trail to it, but we didn't get that close. We wanted to get to our campsite before dark, so it was just a quick visit. There is a Museum, but it's a little further West.

Main take away is stay agile and ready to pounce on opportunites. Once you understand the sentiment of the market, you can basically create money out of thin air. • So have you guys read this book already?????
"Anti-Fragile" is a really great concept and philosophy that can be used in every aspect of our lives.????
There are lots of examples also in the book where we can used this in our lives in a practical way.
And since we are crypto people here, there is also a very unique concept being discussed there about strategies in the markets or trading in general.
By the way, the author is also a successful trader (via Options) in the real world and profiting BIG in the 2008 market crash.

  • Earlier today we Christian named my nephew. It was a lovely experience, he was named after my elder brother (Joshua). He's very fragile and I'm happy to have met him today.
