• IN THE QUEST FOR PEACE IN A GOD REJECTED WORLD (2Sam.7:1)

MY BIBLICAL PERCEPTION OF PREDESTINATION( ROM. 9:27:11-29)!
    ==================================
I am quite aware that, many(in my orbit),will be sceptical on seeing this, because they know me as very reserved, when it comes to flaunting of scriptural knowledge, myself, being a greenhorn in the quest for intellectual superiority. Moreso, when God's Word is involved.

In all, for anything that distracts from the SIMPLE GOSPEL MESSAGE OF SALVATION, my interest isn't piqued.

However, the debates and counter debates about PREDESTINATION has really stirred me, as I see the adversary at work again. THE VERSION OF PREDESTINATION BEING MOSTLY PUSHED FORWARD, MAKES A HORRID MESS OF THE DILIGENT STEPS TO SALVATION LAID DOWN BY THE OWNER AND GIVER OF SALVATION. ONCE SAVED , ALWAYS SAVED (OSAS) DOCTRINE HAS BEEN INCREASINGLY TIED TO PREDESTINATION. OUR HOLY BIBLE DOESN'T SUPPORT THIS.

By request, we will take this step by step. But before then, I want to CONFIDENTLY declare by HIS GRACE and MERCY, that PREDESTINATION IS A BIBLICAL TRUTH... IT'S NOT WRONG, FOR OUR LORD GOD ALMIGHTY CAN NEVER EVER BE WRONG!!! WHAT'S WRONG IS MAN'S INTERPRETATION AND REASONING.

Predestination is a combination of two words.. pre-meaning *before* and destination.. point of arrival. Thus, if I tell a person* on Thursday, go to Mr Oxford's shop and buy me coffee*! On that day, that person knows, he has to go to Oxford.. but it's also possible that the coffee may not be found at Oxford's, and destination may eventually changed. OF COURSE, THIS IS MORTAL WISDOM AT WORK, NOT GOD, WHO IS OMNISCIENT (ALL KNOWING)! I only made a point, that man can FAIL, but GOD WON'T AND CAN'T EVER FAIL (ISA. 55:11)!

Okay, as God can't fail, ever, and predestination is God's Word (Rom. 9:11-29), how can we then reconcile the *freewill given to us by GOD*?

And the LORD God said, Behold, the MAN is become as ONE OF US, to know GOOD and EVIL: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: (Gen 3: 22)

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Deu 30: 19)

Following predestination holistically means,we are reduced to mere robots..thus, there's no need for the Gospel,no need for evangelism, infact no need for Christ Jesus' sufferings on the Cross and earth, since judgement has been passed via predestination!!! THERE'S A LOT TO SAY,BUT WE WILL TAKE IT BIT BY BIT.

Going back to apostle Paul's epistles to the Ephesians and Romans, you need to take a humane approach.

    Firstly,Paul is a human,(take note of that) before becoming a carrier of the fullness of the GODHEAD. Thus he has his weaknesses and strengths like everyone of us;

For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. (Rom 7: 15)

For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. (Rom 7: 19)

    22. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
    23. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
    24. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? (Rom 7: 22-24)

Do we not face this similar problem? I congratulate you if you don't. But the truth is,it's peculiar to all of mankind...this is why we have GRACE!

Relating this to the Romans 9, you can perceive Paul was in distress, seeing his kinsmen on the verge of ending up in hell(which by the way, many of us don't even believe in, nor its duration.)

SPECIFICALLY, APOSTLE PAUL WAS PITIFUL,THAT PREDESTINATION WILL NOT SAVE PRESUMPTUOUS SINNERS FROM GOD'S PUNISHMENT.

THAT'S WHY HE WAS EMPHASIZING THAT,GOD IS NEVER UNFAIR IN ANY DECISION HE MAKES,THAT HE,* ONLY* HAS THE PREROGATIVE AND CRITERIA TO ADOPT OR SET ASIDE HIS LAW. THE VETO POWER BELONGS TO ONLY HIM ALONE, HE MADE THE LAW AND CAN UNMAKE IT WITHOUT HAVING TO CONSULT WITH ANYONE!

    HEAR PAUL;

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. (Rom 8: 33)

    11. (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
    12. It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
    13. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
    14. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
    15. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
    16. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
    17. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
    18. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
    19. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
    20. Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? (Rom 9: 11-20)

IF YOU CANNOT FEEL PAUL'S DISTRESS IN THE VERSES ABOVE,I WONDER WHERE ELSE YOU WILL FEEL IT.

HE WAS RESPECTFULLY AND FAITHFULLY EXONERATING GOD, FROM WHAT SEEMS PLAIN INJUSTICE IN THE EYES OF MAN.
WHAT WAS ESAU'S OFFENCE IN THE WOMB?
    OKAY,LOOK AT PHARAOH;

And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go. (Exo 8: 32)

THROUGHOUT HIS ORDEAL, WHENEVER PHARAOH WANTS TO BUCKLE DOWN,WE SEE THE ABOVE VERSE, AGAIN AND AGAIN.
    AND WE ARE GIVEN THE REASON WHY GOD DID IT BY PAUL;

For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. (Rom 9: 17)
(Don't forget that in some verses therein,we read, and God hardened Pharaoh's heart)

God's purpose for Pharaoh was to use him to demonstrate HIS POWER. Yet,if HE chose to,HE could also had saved him.

We shall continue, but know this that though PREDESTINATION is FACTUAL,no voluntary sinner is predestined for Heaven nor Eternal life. EVEN IF,WE ARE CERTAIN THAT WE ARE PREDESTINED, I ASSURE US,GOD CAN CHANGE HIS MIND IF WE PRESUMPTUOUSLY WALK OUT OF HIS WAY, OR WALKED OUT OF HIS PRESENCE. YES,GOD IS IMMUTABLE..HE NEVER CHANGES, BUT IN SITUATION WHEN MAN VOLITIONALLY SUCCUMBS TO THE DEVIL, HE CHANGES METHODS.

    For instance, consider this;

Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, SHOULD WALK BEFORE ME FOR EVER: but now the LORD saith, BE IT FAR FROM ME; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. (1Sa 2: 30)

    Again;
    8. But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
    9. Therefore HAVE I ALSO MADE YOU CONTEMPTIBLE AND BASE BEFORE ALL THE PEOPLE, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. (Mal 2: 8-9)

Certainly, God had a Plan, but Man's default nature of sin interfered, so He changed methods.

Now, Old Testament critics will say,all that took place in the Old Testament.

Was Moses destined for Heaven? The answer is a BIG YES. But again, the flesh made Moses died in sin. He couldn't make it to Canaan , meaning he wasn't forgiven, for he blamed the Israelites for his sin.
*PLEASE,I WANT US TO TAKE NOTE OF THIS, DON'T EVER ARGUE THE REASON FOR YOUR SIN... YOU HAVE SINNED,YOU HAVE SINNED....THIS WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MOSES AND DAVID. INSTEAD OF REPENTANCE,MOSES BEGGED GOD TO BE ALLOWED TO ENTER CANAAN, IN ESSENCE, IT WASN'T EXACTLY HIS FAULT THAT HE OFFENDED GOD, AND MADE IT CLEAR IN DEUTERONOMY. AND GOD WOULD HAVE NONE OF THAT. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW GREAT YOU HAVE WORKED FOR HIM. THUS, MOSES WAS ON THE PATH TO HELL FIRE, BUT THANK GOD FOR HIS MERCIES THAT ARCHANGEL MICHAEL INTERVENED*

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. (Jud 1: 9)

Archangel Michael is the commander of Heaven's Army... infact, he it was who booted the devil out of heaven when he rebelled against God. Now another confrontation was imminent, and wise Michael knows he doesn't have God's backing, because God doesn't fight a fight of blame. The devil has the right to Moses body having died unforgiven by God, because he passed the buck like Adam.

Therefore, Michael humbled himself to prevent a battle he won't win and instead EXERCISED THE VETO POWER OF GOD (WHO WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM HE CHOOSES), and declared*The Lord rebuked thee,* and at that point, Moses was pardoned and the devil fled. IF NOT MOSES WOULDN'T HAVE APPEARED IN THE TRANSFIGURATION. Isn't this clear enough?

    Till we meet again;
Thou art of PURER EYES than to BEHOLD EVIL, and CANST NOT LOOK ON INIQUITY: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he? (Hab 1: 13)

After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, AND YE SHALL KNOW MY BREACH OF PROMISE. (Num 14: 34)

I counsel us to take our salvation seriously like Paul cautioned,so that either way, we won't lose out. IT REMAINS A MATTER OF CHOICE...OUR CHOICE !

  • TOWARDS THE PERFECT MAN(JAS.1:4)

GOD'S MANDATE OF STRIVING FOR PEACE WITH ANYONE AND EVERYONE...(PART TWO)

    Welcome back, precious brethren.

We were given some steps(pt.one), to follow,if we must find ourselves on the path of holiness.

    Now,we continue by studying some PRACTICAL WAYS to make our quest for holiness a reality;

DEVELOP AND PRACTICE COMPASSION, IF YOU HAVEN'T.

One of the most ENDURING LEGACY of our Lord and Saviour,Christ Jesus, while on earth,is COMPASSION.

Compassion is that inward, deeply felt emotional response of pity for a suffering person, coupled with a desire to alleviate that suffering.

    Three ingredients of Compassion;
    (1) sees the suffering person, (2) feels tender pity in response to the suffering, and
    (3) acts to alleviate that suffering when possible.

That sense of tender pity must be distinguished from any self-righteous, condescending, air of superiority that looks down on the sufferer but remains aloof(PRIDE),and unengaged.

I came across this befitting quote for it,*THE CHRISTIAN, THEN, IS TO BE A MAN OF PITY, A MAN WHO CANNOT SEE SUFFERING OR NEED OR DISTRESS WITHOUT A SWORD OF GRIEF AND PITY PIERCING HIS OWN HEART. THERE CAN BE NO MORE COMPLETE OPPOSITES OTHAN CALLOUSNESS AND CHRISTIANITY.*

Godly compassion feels the needs of others and seeks to help.(2 Cor. 1:3–4).

    3. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4. Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. (2Co 1: 3-4)

    KINDNESS

Kindness means showing mercy and doing good even to people who do not deserve it or who deserve the opposite.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, (Tit 3: 4)

Christ Jesus equally desires us to show kindness even toward the ungrateful and rebellious:
*But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful*(Luke 6:35–36).
We do need grace, lots of it....

It is one thing to give โ‚ฆ300 to a stranger who deserves nothing from you; it’s another thing to give โ‚ฆ300 to someone who has spit in your face or attacked you and who deserves the opposite of kindness.
    Too often our hearts reflect the opposite,eg;

*That’s the last time I will do him a favour*
*Enough is enough. This relationship/friendship is over.

*After all I’ve done, this is the thanks I get!*

Thankfully, this is not the way God treats us, and it is not the way we have to treat others. How is it possible for you and me to show kindness in these situations? The answer is simple but profound: kindness does not depend on the other person’s character; it depends on us. God does not call us to show kindness to the other person because the other person deserves it, but because God deserves it and because He wants His sons and daughters to be like Him.

    HUMILITY

Humility means recognizing that all you have comes from God and that you are absolutely dependent on HIM as both your CREATOR and your REDEEMER. Humility was no more valued in Paul’s day than it is in our day.

Both worlds were, and are, populated by prideful people. People swaggered and strutted, like they do today. They admired dominance, self-assertion, and one-upmanship.

Humility in Paul’s Roman culture was an abject, servile quality, yet Paul exalts it as a strength in Colossians 3:12, as does the rest of our Bible.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; (Col 3: 12)

This is the one I esteem:
he who is humble and contrite in spirit,
and trembles at my word. (Isa. 66:2)

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
    “God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble.” (1 Pet. 5:5; also James 4:6)

What does that look like in our horizontal relationships? Biblical humility involves an utter trust in God that allows others to be honored above me.
    Humility means preferring others over me;
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves*(Phil. 2:3).
It means taking the last seat as a guest at someone’s dinner table Since God is in complete control, I don’t have to be first. I can lower myself, let others have the top spot, and know HE will provide for me in HIS way, in HIS time.

    GENTLENESS

Popular understandings of gentleness sometimes confuse it with weakness or femininity. This is a mistake. The apostle Paul was not a weak man. Yet he describes himself to the Thessalonians as *gentle among you*(1 Thess. 2:7; cf. 2 Cor. 10:1). Christ Jesus was not a weak MAN. Yet HE said of HIMSELF, *I am gentle and humble in heart*(Matt. 11:28–29).

Someone has observed that this is the only place in the Gospel records where Christ Jesus describes HIS inner character.
As I regularly remind men, if our definition of manhood does not feature humility and gentleness as central, then it is unChristian. That lesson doubles for men who are Christian leaders. At HIS core, the GREATEST LEADER who walked this earth was GENTLE and HUMBLE.

    PATIENCE

Colossians 3:12 extols *patience*,as being long-suffering, long-fused, and long-tempered toward those who irritate us. It is the ability to bear with people, not to grow angry or bitter or irritated or annoyed with them, even when they are foolish or ungrateful or even apparently hopeless. . . . It is the ability serenely to take people as they are, with all their faults and all their failings, and with all the ways in which they hurt and wound us, and never stop caring for them and bearing with them.

Others are Self restraint, Forbearance , Christ-like forgiveness and Love...On face value, they seemingly have the same meaning...BUT EACH IS DISTINCT ON ITS OWN.

    For instance, let's see how apostle Paul uses *LOVE* to conclusively summarised all the attributes we discussed above;

    Colossians 3:14;
*And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.*

KJV13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
    14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. (Col 3: 13-14)
The apostle prioritizes LOVE,above all else, for with it,the others would naturally fall into place.

SO YOU SEE, TO FOLLOW PEACE WITH ALL MEN IS
—our SELF-SACRIFICIAL GIVING for the OTHER PERSON'S BEST— as the most important virtue, THE SUPREME RELATIONAL GRACE.

Let's wrap this up this way

God’s forgiveness of us is HIS DECISION, DECLARATION, and PROMISE to NOT HOLD OUR SINS AGAINST US BUT TO GRACIOUSLY HOLD THEM AGAINST CHRIST JESUS as OUR SUBSTITUTE.

In fact, God’s forgiveness emerges as a major theme here in Colossians.

In chapter 1 Paul recalls, *For [God] has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins* (Col. 1:13–14).

FOR GOD TO ASK US TO DO SAME TO OTHERS, ISN'T ASKING FOR TOO MUCH.

THANK YOU FATHER ,FOR YOUR UNFATHOMABLE LOVE,AMEN!
TOWARDS THE PERFECT MAN(JAS.1:4) ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ GOD'S MANDATE OF STRIVING FOR PEACE WITH ANYONE AND EVERYONE...(PART TWO)๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡ ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ๐Ÿšฅ Welcome back, precious brethren. THERE CAN BE NO MORE COMPLETE OPPOSITES OTHAN CALLOUSNESS AND CHRISTIANITY.* Godly compassion feels the needs of others and seeks to help.(2 Cor. 1:3–4). 3. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4. Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. (2Co 1: 3-4) ๐Ÿ‘‰ KINDNESS Kindness means showing mercy and doing good even to people who do not deserve it or who deserve the opposite. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, (Tit 3: 4) Christ Jesus equally desires us to show kindness even toward the ungrateful and rebellious: *But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Too often our hearts reflect the opposite,eg; *That’s the last time I will do him a favour* *Enough is enough. This relationship/friendship is over. *After all I’ve done, this is the thanks I get!* Thankfully, this is not the way God treats us, and it is not the way we have to treat others. How is it possible for you and me to show kindness in these situations? The answer is simple but profound: kindness does not depend on the other person’s character; it depends on us. God does not call us to show kindness to the other person because the other person deserves it, but because God deserves it and because He wants His sons and daughters to be like Him. ๐Ÿ‘‰HUMILITY Humility means recognizing that all you have comes from God and that you are absolutely dependent on HIM as both your CREATOR and your REDEEMER. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; (Col 3: 12) This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word. (Isa. 66:2) All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (1 Pet. 5:5; also James 4:6) What does that look like in our horizontal relationships? Biblical humility involves an utter trust in God that allows others to be honored above me. Humility means preferring others over me; Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves*(Phil. 2:3). It means taking the last seat as a guest at someone’s dinner table Since God is in complete control, I don’t have to be first. I can lower myself, let others have the top spot, and know HE will provide for me in HIS way, in HIS time. ๐Ÿ‘‰ GENTLENESS Popular understandings of gentleness sometimes confuse it with weakness or femininity. ๐Ÿ‘‰PATIENCE Colossians 3:12 extols *patience*,as being long-suffering, long-fused, and long-tempered toward those who irritate us. For instance, let's see how apostle Paul uses *LOVE* to conclusively summarised all the attributes we discussed above; Colossians 3:14; *And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.* KJV๐Ÿ‘‰13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. (Col 3: 13-14) The apostle prioritizes LOVE,above all else, for with it,the others would naturally fall into place. SO YOU SEE, TO FOLLOW PEACE WITH ALL MEN IS —our SELF-SACRIFICIAL GIVING for the OTHER PERSON'S BEST— as the most important virtue, THE SUPREME RELATIONAL GRACE. Let's wrap this up this way๐Ÿ‘‡ God’s forgiveness of us is HIS DECISION, DECLARATION, and PROMISE to NOT HOLD OUR SINS AGAINST US BUT TO GRACIOUSLY HOLD THEM AGAINST CHRIST JESUS as OUR SUBSTITUTE. THANK YOU FATHER ,FOR YOUR UNFATHOMABLE LOVE,AMEN๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™‡!

  • Democratic Party’s total disregard for Palestinian lives – Day 320

Compilation of news reports by IAK staff

DNC acceptance speech: what did Kamala say about Gaza?

Responsible Statecraft reports: This week’s protests, which saw thousands of antiwar demonstrators take to the streets (lined with scores of Chicago police) in and around the United Center pose a critical question to the Harris/Waltz ticket: Can they bridge the yawning gulf that divides the street and the establishment on the matter of Israel’s war on Palestine?

    The answer is, probably not.

On Thursday night during her own showcase speech in which she formally accepted her party’s nomination, Harris appeared full-throated in favor of ending the war in Gaza. Here are her full (brief) remarks on the issue:

With respect to the war in Gaza, President Biden and I are working around the clock, because now is the time to get a hostage deal and a ceasefire deal done. …. And let me be clear: I will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself, and I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself, because the people of Israel must never again face the war that a terrorist organization called Hamas caused on October 7, including unspeakable sexual violence* and the massacre of young people at a music festival.**

At the same time, what has happened in Gaza over the past 10 months is devastating so many innocent lives lost, desperate, hungry people fleeing for safety, over and over again, the scale of suffering is heartbreaking. President Biden and I are working to end this war, such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom and self determination.

*While Israel has made allegations of “systematic sexual violence” against Hamas on October 7th, it has yet to provide forensic evidence or witnesses. The allegations persist apparently because American mainstream media continue to ignore the facts, though numerous websites have reported about the deficiencies in the coverage.

**A number of the Israeli soldiers and civilians killed on October 7 were shown to have been killed by Israeli fire – a fact that is absent from the official Israeli narrative and Western mainstream media.

As antiwar activist and author Norman Solomon has noted, Harris “has toed President Biden’s war line, while at times voicing sympathy for the victims of the Gaza war that’s made possible by policies that she supports. Her words of compassion have yet to translate into opposing the pipeline of weapons and ammunition to the Israeli military as it keeps slaughtering Palestinian civilians.”

Israeli army announces new evacuation order in south

    Al Jazeera reports:

The Israeli spokesperson for Arabic language media has announced a new evacuation order for the Gaza Strip.

Residents were warned to evacuate several areas in Khan Younis governorate in southern Gaza, including Bani Suheila, Sheikh Nasser, Barbakh and as-Satr al-Gharbi, Avichay Adraee posted on X.

The order comes after thousands of Palestinians fled parts of Deir el-Balah as the Israeli military issued an evacuation order and its forces advanced deeper into the overcrowded central Gaza city.

The Israeli military has targeted areas it had designated as safe zones on several occasions previously, killing Palestinians taking refuge there.

Gaza polio patient paralyzed, UN to begin vaccination soon

    Middle East Eye reports:

The UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) says that it will begin vaccinating Gaza’s children for polio at the end of the month.

The news comes after the besieged enclave recorded its first case of polio last week, and as the WHO confirmed that a a 10-month-old baby was now paralyzed due to the disease.

“It is not enough to bring the vaccines into Gaza [and] protect the cold chain,” Phillippe Lazzarrini, commissioner general of Unrwa, said on X. “To have an impact, the vaccines must end up in the mouths of every child under the age of 10.”

Gaza’s Health Ministry has said that a vaccination campaign alone will not prevent the spread of polio “in the absence of clean water, personal hygiene supplies, the spread of sewage among the tents of the displaced, and the absence of a healthy environment.”

It is not clear whether Israel has allowed WHO polio vaccines to enter Gaza.

The polio virus has been detected in Gaza's sewage, which flows through areas with displaced persons and residential zones due to infrastructure destruction, and “represents a new health crisis.”

MSF says Israel’s new evacuation orders are ‘inhumane’

    From Doctors Without Borders:

Doctors Without Borders, known by its French acronym MSF, said its staff are among the thousands of people who are having to flee central Gaza after Israel’s military issued new evacuation orders for Deir el-Balah and Khan Younis.

“The continuous forced displacement of people is inhumane,” MSF project coordinator Jacob Granger said in a statement.

“People have no belongings left, nowhere left to go. There is no room to put tents up. The overcrowding, severe lack of water, and minimal sanitation services are fuelling the spread of diseases. We are unable to keep up with the overwhelming needs.”

Israeli army invades ‘most crowded displacement camp in history,’ bombs Palestinians in shelters

    Mondoweiss reports:

In a press release last Sunday, the Deir al-Balah municipality said that the waves of evacuation reaching Deir al-Balah were causing an unprecedented number of displaced people to cram into a tiny zone. According to the statement, Deir al-Balah’s total area is 42 square kilometers, and almost a million displaced people are now distributed across 200 displacement centers there.

“This makes Deir al-Balah the most crowded displacement camp in history,” the municipality said.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army bombed the local market in Deir al-Balah, killing 9 civilians. Several hours later, the army bombarded a school in Gaza City sheltering 700 people, killing 10 people, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense.

Civil Defense teams were forced to cut up a martyr’s body to pull him out of the rubble, which had been stuck under three collapsed ceilings inside the school. Survivors say that it was one of the most horrific scenes they have witnessed since the start of the war.

Netanyahu’s goal is ‘creeping occupation’ of Gaza: Ha’aretz

    From Ha’aretz:

Ha’aretz writer Aluf Benn said in an editorial that the Israeli prime minister is “torpedoing” ceasefire negotiations because he ultimately wants a “prolonged occupation of the Gaza Strip”.

“Caravan after caravan, outpost after outpost” Netanyahu is planning a “creeping occupation” of Gaza, Benn said, adding that the Israeli prime minister’s recent insistence on maintaining Israeli control of “defense and strategic assets”, such as the Philadelphi and Netzarim corridors illustrates his intentions.

The editorial came as the families of Israeli captives held in Gaza criticized Netanyahu’s handling of the truce talks, saying the “full and direct responsibility for the fate of the negotiations is on the prime minister”.

West Bank: Three Palestinians killed in Israeli strike on Tulkarem camp

    Al Jazeera reports:

Three Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli air attack on a house in the Tulkarem refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health says.

The aerial attack today came as the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said fighters from its Tulkarem Battalion clashed with Israeli soldiers in the camp and detonated explosive devices targeting military vehicles.

Reporting from Tulkarem, Al Jazeera’s Nida Ibrahim said on Thursday that the raid was ongoing 12 hours later in the congested area, with sounds of explosives and gunfire heard and drones flying above.

Jewish terror is jeopardizing Israel’s existence: Shin Bet chief

    Middle East Eye reports:

In a letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, government ministers and the attorney general, Ronen Bar, the head of the Shin Bet security service, warned that Jewish terrorism was endangering Israel’s existence.

Bar says that those he calls Jewish terrorists “want to cause the system to lose control, causing indescribable damage to Israel”.

He also said that police incompetence and “perhaps a sense of hidden support” is increasing.

‘They Did Not Hit Me’ – Former Prisoner Argamani Challenges Israeli Media over Distorted Claims

    Palestine Chronicle reports:

Former Israeli prisoner Noa Argamani has accused the Israeli media of taking her statements out of context and denied claims that she was beaten by members of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.

Through her Instagram page, Argamani clarified that the Qassam Brigades did not harm her physically or cut her hair, but she sustained injuries when a wall collapsed during an Israeli airstrike.

“I cannot stay silent about what the Israeli media has done to me over the past 24 hours, taking my words out of context,” she stated, adding: “I am a victim of the October 7 operation, and I refuse to be victimized again by the Israeli media.”

Argamani explained that Al-Qassam members “did not hit me while I was in captivity, nor did they cut my hair.”

“I was injured by the collapse of a wall caused by an Israeli airstrike,” she highlighted.

In June, the Israeli military announced that Argamani and three other Israeli prisoners were rescued during a military operation in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, which resulted in the killing and injuring of hundreds of Palestinian civilians.

Since her return, Argamani has expressed frustration over the distortion of her accounts, particularly concerning her treatment while in Gaza.

NOTE: In reality, many of the released Israeli captives have been in good health. They described their fear of being bombed by Israel, but did not report torture or rape (for which at least one was harassed). In the case of Noa Argamni, reportedly the worst complaints she had of her captors was that she “had to cook and wash dishes for the family,” and was not able to shower often. She was able to walk outside, but “was forced to dress like a Palestinian woman.”

Released Gaza captive declines Netanyahu ‘PR’ meeting

    Al Jazeera reports:

Margalit Moses, a 77-year-old Israeli who was freed from captivity in Gaza in November, has declined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s invitation to meet him today, saying she believes it would be a publicity stunt.

“Thank you for the invitation, but I will not take part in the meeting for photography and public relations purposes while my friends are languishing in the Hamas tunnels in Gaza,” she wrote in a public statement.

“In light of the reports of another [hostage-ceasefire] deal being thwarted on your part to release the abductees, I see no reason to come to a meeting with someone who proves by his actions that releasing the hostages is not top of mind and abandons them to their deaths,” she added.

Moses was abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz along with her ex-husband Gadi Moshe Moses during the Hamas-led assault on southern Israel on October 7. Gadi remains in captivity in Gaza.

War will continue, even with a deal: Israeli official

    From Times of Israel:

An Israeli official told The Times of Israel that a ceasefire deal would not mean the end of the war in Gaza.

“So long as Hamas doesn’t agree to a deal, we will continue fighting,” the official was quoted as saying. “Even if they do, the war will continue. Of course, if there is a deal, there will be a lull in the fighting in the first stage. But we will continue fighting until we achieve all of our war aims.”

The insistence on the war continuing echoes the words of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has himself insisted that any ceasefire deal still allow the Israelis to continue to attack Gaza, despite the US insistence that a deal would lead to an end to the war.

Hamas has repeatedly stated that any deal to secure the release of captives held in Gaza lead to a lasting ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the enclave.

    STATISTICS OCTOBER 7 – AUGUST 22:

Palestinian death toll from October 7, 2023 – August 22, 2024: at least 40,859* (40,265 in Gaza* – 11,445 women (30%), 16,251 children as of July 22. [The Ministry’s figures have been contested by the Israeli authorities, although they have been accepted as accurate by Israeli intelligence services, the UN, and WHO. These data are supported by independent analyses, comparing changes in the number of deaths of UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) staff with those reported by the Ministry, which found claims of data fabrication implausible.]
This is expected to be a significant undercount since thousands of those killed have yet to be identified – and at least 637 in the West Bank (~147 children). This does not include an estimated 10,000 more still buried under rubble (4,900 women and children). Euro-Med Monitor reports 46,848 Palestinian deaths.
Lancet: “Applying a conservative estimate of four indirect deaths per one direct death9 to the 37,396 deaths reported, it is not implausible to estimate that up to 186 000 or even more deaths could be attributable to the current conflict in Gaza.
Ralph Nader earlier estimated 200,000 Palestinians may have been killed in Gaza.
At least 45 Palestinians have died in Israeli prisons (27 from Gaza, 18 from West Bank).
At least 41 Palestinians have died due to malnutrition**.
About 1.9 million of Gaza’s 2.3 million population are currently displaced.
Almost 500,000 Gazans are currently experiencing catastrophic levels of food insecurity.
Palestinian injuries from October 7 – August 22: at least 98,401 (including at least 93,144 in Gaza and 5,420 in the West Bank, including 830 children). [It remains unknown how man Americans are among the casualties in Gaza.]
Reported Israeli death toll from October 7, 2023 – August 22, 2024: ~1,457 (~1,139 on October 7, 2023, of which ~32 were Americans, and ~36 were children); 293*** military forces since the ground invasion began in Gaza; 25 military and civilians in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Israel) and~10,000 injured.
NOTE: It is unknown at this time how many of the deaths and injuries of Israelis on October 7 were caused by Israeli soldiers.
*Previously, IAK did not include 471 Gazans killed in the Al Ahli hospital blast since the source of the projectile was being disputed. However, given that much evidence points to Israel as the culprit, Israel had previously bombed the hospital and has attacked many others, Israel is prohibiting outside experts from investigating the scene, and since the UN and other agencies are including the deaths from the attack in their cumulative totals, if Americans knew is now also doing so.
**Euro-Med Monitor reports that Gaza’s elderly are dying at an alarmingly high rate. The majority die at home and are buried either close to their residences or in makeshift graves dispersed across the Strip. There are currently more than 140 such cemeteries. Additionally, according to Euromed, thousands have died from starvation, malnourishment, and inadequate medical care; these are considered indirect victims as they were not registered in hospitals.
***Approximately ten of the deaths listed above were Israeli soldiers killed by Hezbollah in fighting at the Israel-Lebanon border. The figure does not include the reportedly 53 Israeli soldiers – nearly 16% of the total Israeli military deaths – killed due to friendly fire in Gaza and other military-related accidents.
† For most of the conflict, women and children accounted for about 70% of deaths in Gaza, with children making up a little over 40% of those killed, according to official statistics.

There is no room to put tents up. The overcrowding, severe lack of water, and minimal sanitation services are fuelling the spread of diseases. We are unable to keep up with the overwhelming needs.” Israeli army invades ‘most crowded displacement camp in history,’ bombs Palestinians in shelters Mondoweiss reports: In a press release last Sunday, the Deir al-Balah municipality said that the waves of evacuation reaching Deir al-Balah were causing an unprecedented number of displaced people to cram into a tiny zone. (Read the full article here.) The editorial came as the families of Israeli captives held in Gaza criticized Netanyahu’s handling of the truce talks, saying the “full and direct responsibility for the fate of the negotiations is on the prime minister”. The aerial attack today came as the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said fighters from its Tulkarem Battalion clashed with Israeli soldiers in the camp and detonated explosive devices targeting military vehicles. Jewish terror is jeopardizing Israel’s existence: Shin Bet chief Middle East Eye reports: In a letter to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, government ministers and the attorney general, Ronen Bar, the head of the Shin Bet security service, warned that Jewish terrorism was endangering Israel’s existence. Bar says that those he calls Jewish terrorists “want to cause the system to lose control, causing indescribable damage to Israel”. He also said that police incompetence and “perhaps a sense of hidden support” is increasing. (Read the full article here.) Through her Instagram page, Argamani clarified that the Qassam Brigades did not harm her physically or cut her hair, but she sustained injuries when a wall collapsed during an Israeli airstrike. “I cannot stay silent about what the Israeli media has done to me over the past 24 hours, taking my words out of context,” she stated, adding: “I am a victim of the October 7 operation, and I refuse to be victimized again by the Israeli media.” Argamani explained that Al-Qassam members “did not hit me while I was in captivity, nor did they cut my hair.” “I was injured by the collapse of a wall caused by an Israeli airstrike,” she highlighted. (Read the full article here.) NOTE: In reality, many of the released Israeli captives have been in good health. They described their fear of being bombed by Israel, but did not report torture or rape (for which at least one was harassed). In the case of Noa Argamni, reportedly the worst complaints she had of her captors was that she “had to cook and wash dishes for the family,” and was not able to shower often. She was able to walk outside, but “was forced to dress like a Palestinian woman.” Released Gaza captive declines Netanyahu ‘PR’ meeting Al Jazeera reports: Margalit Moses, a 77-year-old Israeli who was freed from captivity in Gaza in November, has declined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s invitation to meet him today, saying she believes it would be a publicity stunt. War will continue, even with a deal: Israeli official From Times of Israel: An Israeli official told The Times of Israel that a ceasefire deal would not mean the end of the war in Gaza. “So long as Hamas doesn’t agree to a deal, we will continue fighting,” the official was quoted as saying. “Even if they do, the war will continue. Of course, if there is a deal, there will be a lull in the fighting in the first stage. But we will continue fighting until we achieve all of our war aims.” The insistence on the war continuing echoes the words of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has himself insisted that any ceasefire deal still allow the Israelis to continue to attack Gaza, despite the US insistence that a deal would lead to an end to the war. Hamas has repeatedly stated that any deal to secure the release of captives held in Gaza lead to a lasting ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the enclave. CHRIST JESUS WASN'T KIDDING ON OUR LOVE GETTING COLD AT THE END TIMES! [REV.2:4]

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. (Rev 2: 4)

I think a good question will be how we lose our first Love and grow cold in the End Times?

We have spoken a lot on Christ Jesus' return . It has not happened yet; it’s yet to come in the future. When? We don't really don't know (even as people continue to set false dates). But what is certain is that the signs HE GAVE US AS A HINT TO HIS UNPUBLISHED RETURN ARE ALL AROUND US TODAY. EVEN IF WE DENY THEM,WE DO SO AT OUR RISK. AND ONE OF THE MOST COMMON OF THE HINTS IS *OUR LOVE GROWING COLD!* WE WANT TO LOOK AT IT.

Now please remember again,we are all in this together. Whatever I say applies to me too, though I always pray that these don't stand as judgement against me,when I get to meet our FATHER,I think it should be your prayer too...and it can only come about our obedience not as card carrying Christians but as Children of the Most High God.

    Now in Matt.24:12, Christ Jesus Himself broach the subject;
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (Mat 24: 12)

    And our ever serious Paul made a reference to it when admonishing his son in the Lord, Timothy;

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2Ti 3: 1)

Undoubtedly, it's happening around us... perilous times (when there will be no brother's keeper). Then the rules of the jungle takeover "survival of the fittest!"

    HOW IT ALL BEGAN.

Christ Jesus had just looked at the temple in Jerusalem and said, “Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down” (Matthew 24:2). And then the disciples asked him, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3).

Now,that particular event our Lord referred to has come and gone, when He wept that Jerusalem didn't know the time of its visitation (may it not be our portion) That event took place around 70 AD.

But we missed out something, most of us that think that event is the end times spoken about. There is a phrase there *end of the age* This refers to the phase of history that we are in right now that will culminate in the ending with the coming of Christ Jesus ,not as SAVIOUR anymore but as JUDGE in judgment, separating the sheep and the goats, raising the dead. We know that because of the way the phrase is used in Matthew 13:39–43, where Jesus interprets the parable of the weeds like this:

The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

    But the disciples couldn't get the full picture,and so continued to ask for more understanding. And it wasn't permitted to name the year, month,week,day or time. So, Christ Jesus gave another clue;

Many will come in my name, saying, “I am the Christ,” and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the END IS NOT YET. (Matthew 24:5–6)

“Hate is the final outcome of hypocritical love — just the shell of love where the warmth has gone out.”
So, Christ Jesus says, “THE END IS NOT YET.”
Christ Jesus has the end in view, but He warns them that there’s going to be SOME TIME LAPSE HERE. It’s not the very end yet. The end is not yet. These things will be happening on the way to the end. This will be your experience leading up to the end. Then Christ Jesus adds, “All these are but the BEGINNING OF THE BIRTH PAINS” (Matthew 24:8), to make clear that there is some time lapse before the end. This is the beginning of the birth pangs. They will last for some unspecified time, and then there will be the END OF THE BIRTH PANGS AS THE NEW ORDER IS BROUGHT TO BIRTH.

THEN TO THE FIRST LOVE GROWING COLD!
    Hear Christ Jesus again;

And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because LAWLESSNESS Will BE INCREASED, THE LOVE OF MANY WILL GROW COLD. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, AND THEN THE END WILL COME. (Matthew 24:10–14)

SO HOW DOES LOVE GROW COLD AND THE SIGNS?

Cold love is the opposite of warm familial affection.
For example, in Genesis 43:30, when Joseph was about to reveal his identity to his brothers, it says, “Joseph hurried out, for his compassion grew warm for his brother, and he sought a place to weep.” We see the same thing in Hosea 11:8. God says to Israel, “How can I give you up, O Ephraim? . . . My heart recoils within me; my compassion grows warm and tender.”

So, cold love is the shell of love that has lost its inner familial warmth.

    Cold love betrays.
The effect of this coldness is that brother betrays brother. Matthew 24:10, “Then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.” That hate is the final outcome of hypocritical love — just the shell of love where the warmth has gone out, and ice has come in, and the upshot is no longer just hypocritical love but rather hate that betrays brother to brother.

    Cold love results from lawlessness.
Christ Jesus says that the reason for this upsurge of cold, hypocritical love that eventually betrays a brother is owing to the increase of lawlessness. Matthew 24:12, “Because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.” That’s worth thinking about, because you might want to turn it around like this: “Because love grew cold, there’s a lot of lawlessness.” The root of this growing coldness of love in the church toward each other is a deep hostility to authority. That’s a plausible interpretation of lawlessness: a deep hostility to authority, especially God’s authority. That’s what lawlessness is, at root. “I will not submit to law from outside my sovereign self. I’m not going to yield to authority anymore.”
WHY DO YOU THINK PASTORS ARE FIGHTING ONE ANOTHER FROM THEIR PULPITS AND THE SOCIAL MEDIA? THE FIRST LOVE HAS DIED,NOT ONLY GROWN COLD... IT'S WHY LAWLESSNESS THRIVES IN OUR PULPITS TURNED PODIUMS.

Now, to use the language of Paul, the church becomes infected with “the mind of the flesh” rather than “the mind of the Spirit”:

The mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. [That’s lawlessness.] Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:7–8)

The upsurge of lawlessness is the upsurge of self, the mind of the flesh over God, the insubordinate, “I will not submit,” stiff-necked self. And Paul speaks directly to this lawlessness in 2 Thessalonians 2 in relation to the second coming. He says that a GREAT APOSTASY MUST COME BEFORE THE END, along with “the MAN OF LAWLESSNESS” (2 Thessalonians 2:3). Make that connection between Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 2.

ISN'T THIS WHAT'S CURRENTLY HAPPENING IN OUR PULPITS (ESPECIALLY IN NIGERIA CURRENTLY?) HAVE WE NOT NOTICED THE THREADS OF THE APOSTASY PAUL SPOKE OF?

The mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Christ Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. (2 Thessalonians 2:7–8)

So, just when anti-authoritarian lawlessness inside and outside the church seems to be reaching its fevered peak in history, Christ Jesus will step forward and return on the clouds, and there will be a great reversal.

    Cold love must be combatted.
How can we prevent coldness of love from taking over our own hearts. Since cold love, Christ Jesus says, comes from the increase of lawlessness, we must fight upstream, so to speak, from the river of love. We’ve got to get up there to the springs. We must fight against arrogance and pride and self-sufficiency — that is, against the spirit of lawlessness in our hearts that says, “I will not submit. I don’t like people telling me what to do, least of all an omnipotent God.”

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. (Rev 2: 4)

“The root of growing coldness of love in the church toward each other is a deep hostility to authority.”
Lawlessness means we want to be our own law. We don’t want anybody — especially an Infallible, Omnipotent God — telling us what to do. We want to create our own meaning, create our own identity, create our own rules. And when this happens, we have cut ourselves off from Christ Jesus and from the Holy Spirit — and therefore from love.

Let me end with the way Hebrews 10:24–25 exhorts us in view of the second coming:

Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and do good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
May these words minister to our hearts in Christ Jesus' Name Amen! ,!

I’m not going to yield to authority anymore.” WHY DO YOU THINK PASTORS ARE FIGHTING ONE ANOTHER FROM THEIR PULPITS AND THE SOCIAL MEDIA? THE FIRST LOVE HAS DIED,NOT ONLY GROWN COLD... IT'S WHY LAWLESSNESS THRIVES IN OUR PULPITS TURNED PODIUMS. Now, to use the language of Paul, the church becomes infected with “the mind of the flesh” rather than “the mind of the Spirit”: The mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. [That’s lawlessness.] Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:7–8) The upsurge of lawlessness is the upsurge of self, the mind of the flesh over God, the insubordinate, “I will not submit,” stiff-necked self. (2 Thessalonians 2:7–8) So, just when anti-authoritarian lawlessness inside and outside the church seems to be reaching its fevered peak in history, Christ Jesus will step forward and return on the clouds, and there will be a great reversal. ๐Ÿ‘‰Cold love must be combatted. I don’t like people telling me what to do, least of all an omnipotent God.” Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. (Rev 2: 4) “The root of growing coldness of love in the church toward each other is a deep hostility to authority.” Lawlessness means we want to be our own law. We don’t want anybody — especially an Infallible, Omnipotent God — telling us what to do. We want to create our own meaning, create our own identity, create our own rules. And when this happens, we have cut ourselves off from Christ Jesus and from the Holy Spirit — and therefore from love. Let me end with the way Hebrews 10:24–25 exhorts us in view of the second coming: Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and do good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. May these words minister to our hearts in Christ Jesus' Name Amen! ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿ™,!

The film is subtitled in Arabic, Czech, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

    Synopsis

Where Olive Trees Weep offers a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. It explores themes of loss, trauma, and the quest for justice.

We follow, among others, Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish, grassroots activist Ahed Tamimi, and Israeli journalist Amira Hass. We also witness Dr. Gabor Maté offer trauma-healing work to a group of women who were tortured in Israeli prisons.

Ancient landscapes bear deep scars, having witnessed the brutal reality of ancestral land confiscation, expulsions, imprisonment, home demolitions, water deprivation, and denial of basic human rights. Yet, through the veil of oppression, we catch a glimpse of resilience—deep roots that have carried the Palestinian people through decades of darkness and shattered lives.

This emotional journey bares the humanity of the oppressed while grappling with the question: what makes the oppressor so ruthlessly blind to its own cruelty?

Watched the movie. Amazing work. I now know, and I cannot unknow.

    Ariel L.

Thank you for filming, for journaling, for exposing the truth… as difficult as it is to swallow. Bravery, courage… to all who fight against injustice and oppression!

    Avril

I cannot remember when a film has moved me this way. I wept throughout. No one is free until we all are free.

    Sue B.

I would like to extend my eternal gratitude for your work. The film is beautiful, and all the contributors are such authentic, refreshing, impassioned voices. In the midst of all the ongoing global horrors and escalation of violence, I was enormously uplifted upon discovering your website, the film and talks on Palestine.

    Leila S.

Left weeping… Devastated to think about each of these beautiful little girls and boys, women and men, animals, buildings and trees now. It’s hard to find words. Thank you for taking the risk of making this powerful, esthetical, real and tender film. May it be a vehicle to stir the hearts and souls of many of us into action. Deep bow.

    Ellen E.

I was finally able to watch your film, and have to congratulate you on such a moving documentary that sheds light on what life is like for Palestinians living under occupation, with many different aspects and viewpoints. I hope your film will awaken many people around the world and open their eyes.

    Farah S.

Wow, the movie is really a piece of art!!! What about subtitles in Hebrew? It is really necessary.

    Ella

Beautifully done. Drastic humanity. Made me shiver.

I’m currently visiting my very elderly ex-British Army/ expat colonial parents in the UK, and we sat down together to watch your film. You not only changed their minds about Palestine (which my ancestors were a part of bringing about) but also their view of Muslims and Palestinians generally. Thank you.

    Bruce

So moving, terrible and also beautiful. This is a great blessing.

    joAnne K.

It’s impossible to adequately convey how beautiful, powerful and profoundly empathetic your film is. You have accomplished something art often strives for but rarely achieves – to create a work of beauty that also moves the viewer to action. This film is going to have an actual effect. You’re going to help change things. It’s remarkable.

    Michael B.

Stunning pictures, evocative music, and poignant portraits of people. It truly felt as though these people were right in my living room. Your documentary moved me to tears from beginning to end.

I wept uncontrollably for an hour, am still affected by it … What a beautiful, challenging, gut wrenching movie you have made. It was not an easy watch, there were parts i couldn’t bear, and i had to stop in the middle after the stories of torture. Bless you for your brave work, what incredible timing for a world gone mad. May it travel the world shifting minds and opening hearts everywhere, and most of all may all involved in its making be protected.

    Karen W.

I thought I was informed but this took it to a new level. Brilliant movie, amazing women.

Where Olive Trees Weep: Official Trailer (2024) Home Watch the Trailer The film is subtitled in Arabic, Czech, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Synopsis Where Olive Trees Weep offers a searing window into the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. Brilliant, extraordinarily moving, tragic, and hopeful, at the same time. It opened up a new understanding for me. Liz M. Watched the movie. Amazing work. I now know, and I cannot unknow. Ariel L. I cannot remember when a film has moved me this way. I wept throughout. No one is free until we all are free. Sue B. Karen W. We saw it yesterday and it’s the most heartbreaking film I have ever seen. It’s simple, educational, and so real that we were shocked and hurt. It’s an eye-opener. Abhisek Left weeping… Devastated to think about each of these beautiful little girls and boys, women and men, animals, buildings and trees now. It’s hard to find words. Thank you for taking the risk of making this powerful, esthetical, real and tender film. May it be a vehicle to stir the hearts and souls of many of us into action. Deep bow. Ellen E. It was riveting and devastating, poignant and beautiful. I cannot find words to express my gratitude for the film Where Olive Trees Weep. Margaret R. I was finally able to watch your film, and have to congratulate you on such a moving documentary that sheds light on what life is like for Palestinians living under occupation, with many different aspects and viewpoints. I hope your film will awaken many people around the world and open their eyes. Farah S. So powerful and heartbreaking and moving… Haneen S. Leila S. Your film is brilliant, moving, epic. It contains history and it bears witness. Indran I thought I was informed but this took it to a new level. Brilliant movie, amazing women. Matt Thank you, so unsettling and informative which is exactly what is needed. M. Thank you for listening to your heart and for bringing Where Olive Trees Weep to the world. It has been so purposeful and loving. Angela It had me in tears. It broke my heart… It’s a really great film and it’s going to open hearts and minds all over the world. Rae M. I’m currently visiting my very elderly ex-British Army/ expat colonial parents in the UK, and we sat down together to watch your film. You not only changed their minds about Palestine (which my ancestors were a part of bringing about) but also their view of Muslims and Palestinians generally. Thank you. Bruce Thank you for this incredible film/documentary — it broke my heart. Alvina E. This film is educational and incredibly moving. I bawled like a child while watching, but what I learned inspires my actions now every day. Norma J. My heart swells with love for the gift of the movie. My hope is that people’s hearts will open when the truth is spoken. G. Michael B. I have watched many documentaries over the years on this context and this one is the most authentic and raw I have seen. It is also very beautiful. Robin J. I can hardly find words. It’s powerful and the woman, the main person, especially at the end — she was piercing. Soul piercing. This film needs very wide circulation. Therese Thank you for your courage. Just like oil that doesn’t mix with water, Truth doesn’t dissolve in lies and, sooner or later, it comes up to the surface. O. Brilliant, heartbreaking, infuriating and informative. Thank you for making such an excellent film Mariom S. Wow, the movie is really a piece of art!!! What about subtitles in Hebrew? It is really necessary. Ella I cried and felt so ashamed of the world we are living in. My greatest peace wishes, love and light and courage are for all people who are suffering now. I carry them with me in my heart. Elizabeth Stunning pictures, evocative music, and poignant portraits of people. It truly felt as though these people were right in my living room. Your documentary moved me to tears from beginning to end. Maria I will never be the same after watching the movie. Claudie S. Beautifully done. Drastic humanity. Made me shiver. D. After watching it, my heart remained open. I was filled with love and compassion… It was just unconditional love. Amelia R. • Why you may have been eating insects your whole life
    Helen Soteriou and Will Smale
    Business reporters, BBC News

Helen Soteriou Food products that include carmineHelen Soteriou
All these products contain the natural food colouring carmine, which is made from an insect called cochineal
If you are horrified by the thought of eating insects, the bad news is that you have probably done so many, many times.

This is because one of the most widely used red food colourings - carmine - is made from crushed up bugs.
The insects used to make carmine are called cochineal, and are native to Latin America where they live on cacti.
Now farmed mainly in Peru, millions of the tiny insects are harvested every year to produce the colouring.
A staple of the global food industry, carmine is added to everything from yoghurts and ice creams, to fruit pies, soft drinks, cupcakes and donuts.
It is also used extensively in the cosmetics industry and is found in many lipsticks.
MARK WILLIAMSON/SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY Cochineal on a cactusMARK WILLIAMSON/SCIENCE PHOTO LIBRARY
Cochineal insects, the white dots on this cactus, are found across Latin America
Carmine continues to be widely used because it is such a stable, safe and long-lasting additive whose colour is little affected by heat or light.
Supporters also point out that it is a natural product first discovered and used by the Maya and then the Aztecs more than five centuries ago. They claim that it is far healthier than artificial alternatives such as food colourings made from coal or petroleum by-products.
But even fans of carmine agree that it should be more clearly labelled, and there are a growing number of natural red colouring alternatives that don't come from insects.
Look for the word "carmine" on a food product that contains it, and you might not actually see it written in the list of ingredients.
Instead it might say "natural red four", "crimson lake" or just E120, to give carmine its European Union food additive classification number.

Carmine was first used by the Maya and Aztecs
Amy Butler Greenfield, author of A Perfect Red, a book about carmine and its history, says that while she "feels strongly" that it should always be labelled, it is a natural product that has stood the test of time.
"Carmine is an incredibly stable and reliable natural food dye that can be used to create a wide range of colours - pinks, oranges, purples, as well as reds.
"A few people have serious allergic reactions to it, but overall it has a great, long-term safety record."
Peru now leads the way in production of carmine, and according to the Peruvian Embassy to the UK, the country has a 95% share of the international market.
This creates work for no less than 32,600 farmers, the embassy adds.

The insects are dried and then crushed to produce the red colouring
The bugs, which are about 5mm or 0.2 inches long, are brushed off the pads of prickly pear cacti. It is the wingless females that are harvested, rather than the flying males.
The red colour comes from carminic acid, which makes up almost a quarter of the bugs' weight, and deters predation by other insects.
Ms Butler Greenfield says: "Generally the bugs are dried first... nowadays food-grade cochineal dye is put through many filters to remove insect parts."
Last year Peru exported 647 tonnes of carmine for a total value of $46.4m (£33m).

    Many lipsticks contain carmine
Given what the dye is made from, you might think it would be a declining industry.
However, demand is rising and because the supply is finite - it is difficult for Peruvian farmers to substantially boost supplies - the price has soared in recent years.
Back in 2013 Peru's exports of carmine totalled 531 tonnes, which was worth $22m. So over the past four years, the price per tonne has risen by 73%.
UK-based Premier Foods, which owns brands including Mr Kipling cakes and Bachelor soups, continues to use carmine, but does consider switching to alternative colourings.
"We use carmine in some of our products, because it is natural and uniquely provides a particularly stable range of red and pink colours that do not fade," says a Premier Foods spokesman.
"[But] we continue to look for alternatives, which in addition to being natural, would also be suitable for vegetarians."
Animal rights group Peta would ideally like the use of carmine to be phased out all together.
"It reportedly takes up to 70,000 individual insects to produce just 500g of dye, so naturally, it's a product that compassionate consumers will want to avoid.
Carmine was originally used to dye materials
"Fortunately, the rapid growth in the number of people following a vegan lifestyle is encouraging more and more companies to develop animal-friendly products, so it's never been easier to choose vegan items for which no animal of any size has suffered."
One company that in recent years has moved away from carmine is US coffee shop giant Starbucks.
Back in 2012 customers complained after it was revealed that Starbucks used carmine in some of its iced coffees, smoothies and cakes. Starbucks responded by saying it would switch from carmine to lycopene, a natural, tomato-based extract.
Other natural food colouring alternatives include extracts from berries and beetroot. Yet none are as long-lasting and easy to use as carmine.
Beetroots are used to produce a food colouring called betanin
For example, betanin, the food colouring obtained from beetroots, degrades when exposed to light, heat and oxygen. It therefore typically only used in foodstuffs that have a short shelf life, or are frozen.
Ms Butler Greenfield says it is important to remember that carmine is a natural product that it is a vital source of income for poor farmers in Peru.
"People, mostly Peruvian, and mostly very poor, depend on carmine for their livelihood," she says.

Thank you to the new subscribers, your lovely messages and the reviews!

    Dear Doc Malik,

Don't reply! I don't want to add to your overwhelmed state! I just really want to tell you that you have quickly climbed to the top of my long list of favourite podcasters. I do love you and your work, and I am absolutely delighted to discover the treasure trove of back podcasts I haven't heard yet. Thank you for this wonderful gift to the world.

From a new paid subscriber, Joan

    Hi Ahmad,

    Love your work man

Just started to listen to you after your Delingpole Pod a few months ago - your enthusiasm, humanity, empathy and fracking passion for casting light over the last four years is truly inspiring.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for drawing a line in the sand buddy.

When so many medical professionals have hidden their truth, opting to cognitively turn a blind eye and keep paying the mortgage, keep the pension pot rolling and the private school fees going, along with so many other employees within the deep state, school headmasters, (Mike Fairclough could be a good chat), police, lawyers, Judges. I unfortunately know so many morally bankrupt people that still choose to keep their phat fingers in their ears. Fracking frustrating!

Keep the faith brother, thank you for all of your hard work, stay strong and thank you for being a brilliant inspiration to all of humanity.

    All the best,

    David & Donna

    About this episode -

    Dr Michael Nehls MD PhD

Michael graduated from medicine in 1986 in Germany but never practised clinical medicine. Instead, he went into research and now has published several books mainly in German. Michael’s article titled "Unified Theory of Alzheimer's Disease (UTAD): implications for prevention and curative therapy" was internationally published in the Journal of Molecular Psychiatry. For his breakthrough discovery regarding the development, prevention and therapy of Alzheimer's disease, he received the 2015 Hanse Award for Psychiatry from the University of Rostock, Germany.

“The Indoctrinated Brain - How to Successfully Fend Off the Global Attack on Your Mental Freedom” is his latest and arguably greatest work. In it, Michael talks about the effects of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines on human cognition and autonomy. Nehls suggests that these vaccines, among other modern pressures, and propaganda methods are part of a global assault manipulating the human mind, aiming to facilitate increased governmental control over individuals, A global war on the human mind.

    About this conversation

Have you noticed how difficult it is these days to have a deep meaningful conversation with anyone? Not just random strangers, but even close family members and friends. It was a problem in the making prior to 2020 but Covid seems to have accelerated the problem. Conversations are shut down and people get triggered over the slightest remark. Stating the bloody obvious gets you a zombie stare. No, you aren’t imagining it. People are different, they are unthinking and heavily programmed.

In his book and as you will hear in this podcast with Michael Nehls it is not imaginary, and worse still it is not by accident. It is by nefarious design.

I am convinced more than ever that we are in the midst of World War 3.

WW1 was fought mainly in Europe, in fields and trenches, with rifles and artillery. Civilians were relatively spared. WW2 was fought with tanks, naval ships, and bombers and while many millions of soldiers died, so too for the first time in history did millions of innocent civilians. WW3 is a global war against every human being, the battleground is in our minds, and the weapons are psychological operations (Psyops) with full penetration skull-busting propaganda.

The main beneficiaries of wars are bankers; some even argue that all wars are banker wars. But wars are more than about making money, they are also about gaining power and control. The latter over us the masses, the serfs and so-called “useless eaters”.

While I believe it is important to understand who the enemy is, for simplicity's sake one can think of “they” as the predator class who have already got unimaginable money and power and exercise control over our media, banks, military-industrial complex, big tech and our governments to name but a few. What is more important is how they influence us and how we can protect ourselves and our loved ones, and ensure their plans are unsuccessful.

The predator class uses narratives that they indoctrinate us with to control the way we think and shape our worldview. These indoctrinations are so powerful and plentiful that they have reduced much of the global population to NPCs (Non-player characters). For those of you who don’t know what NPCs are, they are characters found in computer games that are programmed to do certain tasks and repeat the same standard lines. For example, it might be an innkeeper in a game who is always behind the bar and offers you the choice to eat or drink. That computer character does not exist outside the Inn. He has no wife or kids. In the game you are the player, the innkeeper however is a non-player character within the game. Today, the vast majority of humans are NPCs, they have no mind outside their programming, repeating only what has been programmed in their script. And as soon as you mention certain terms they have a knee-jerk speech that they give. Have you noticed how people are either in a zombie state, unthinking and unfeeling, or the complete opposite getting triggered at the slightest remark (think computer glitch)?

Some of the narratives that have been indoctrinated to the masses include the following -

The World Trade Centre Bombings and subsequent War On Terror

The Great Climate Scam and Hoax (The Earth is dying, Global warming is an existential threat, Carbon Dioxide is bad and needs to be reduced etc)

Covid Plandemic (Lockdowns, social distancing and masks were necessary and effective)

Vaccines are safe and effective including experimental gene interventions

    Governments care about you

    You can change your sex

Anytime the media tells you to hate a group of people or another country

    The world is overpopulated

    Polar bears are dying

Electric cars are good for the environment

And many many more (why don’t tell me some more in the comments below)

    From Michael’s book -

    Indoctrination

The word comes from the Latin word doctrina, meaning “instruction.”

The purpose of indoctrination is to implant an ideological narrative into people’s brains - a new belief that allows no discussion and no contradiction.

The goal is obedient, unthinking conformity. The means to this end is a controlled selection of information, intensive propaganda, and psychological manipulation, up to coercive measures and threats of punishment.

The more skilful the mental manipulation, the more immune the implanted ideological thought system becomes to critical arguments and inner doubts.

The Indoctrinated Brain outlines how to safeguard and protect your mind from indoctrination (from the introduction) -

Each individual will be rewarded with a significant increase in psychological resilience by incorporating these principles into his or her own life.

With increased resilience comes increased natural curiosity, which allows us to think outside the box.

We have more mental energy. This allows us to process new information and make better, more creative decisions.

We need this energy when we want to break new ground. it is the basis of our perseverance against external and internal resistance.

The energy enables us to have rational compassion, a prerequisite for each of us to be able to think and act globally.

“We are creating a new world, based on a much-needed correction of the image of man that corresponds to his natural characteristics, already embodied in every child: man is basically good. With this mindset, we will undergo a true mental reset that will allow us to regain our full mental potential!”

“Our destiny and our values are in our own hands. If we follow the principle of human autonomy and implement it in our lives, we will become stronger, and we can venture into a new culture of cooperative, altogether considerate coexistence that respects the realities of our natural needs and the environment. Therefore, there is still a chance that all will end well.”

All the best, David & Donna About this episode - Dr Michael Nehls MD PhD Michael graduated from medicine in 1986 in Germany but never practised clinical medicine. About this conversation Have you noticed how difficult it is these days to have a deep meaningful conversation with anyone? Some of the narratives that have been indoctrinated to the masses include the following - The World Trade Centre Bombings and subsequent War On Terror The Great Climate Scam and Hoax (The Earth is dying, Global warming is an existential threat, Carbon Dioxide is bad and needs to be reduced etc) Covid Plandemic (Lockdowns, social distancing and masks were necessary and effective) Vaccines are safe and effective including experimental gene interventions Governments care about you You can change your sex Anytime the media tells you to hate a group of people or another country The world is overpopulated Polar bears are dying Electric cars are good for the environment And many many more (why don’t tell me some more in the comments below) From Michael’s book - Indoctrination The word comes from the Latin word doctrina, meaning “instruction.” The purpose of indoctrination is to implant an ideological narrative into people’s brains - a new belief that allows no discussion and no contradiction. Indoctrination is to be understood as a vicious attack on our humanity, on our personality, and ultimately on the most precious thing of all: our freedom of thought. Resisting indoctrination is a lifelong endeavour. it is a matter of preserving one’s freedom of thought and search for meaning. • Vegetarianism/Veganism is a Globalist Trojan Horse With No Scientific Backing
Here's what happens when you remove studies conducted by biased religious zealots from vegetarian research.

    Anthony Colpo

The globalists are using a number of Trojan horses to advance their agendas of population control and "global governance" (the sanitized UN term for worldwide tyranny).

Among these Trojan Horses are fake pandemics, climate change and "plant-based" eating, which is the PR-friendly term for vegetarianism and its histrionic offshoot, veganism.

The monumental irony with the climate change and plant-based diet phenomena is that believers typically consider themselves not only to be enlightened, but sticking it to the man/corporatism/fascism/etc.

The reality is they are being played like puppets by the very forces they think they're rebelling against. Individuals militantly pushing these paradigms, along with all those who became zealous Covidiots during the fake pandemic, are a modern-day embodiment of the "useful idiot."

That derogatory term came into widespread use during the Cold War era to describe non-communists that fell for communist propaganda and psychological manipulation.

Mariam-Webster defines "useful idiot" as "a naive or credulous person who can be manipulated or exploited to advance a cause or political agenda."

The Cambridge Dictionary defines a useful idiot as "a person who is easy to persuade to do, say, or believe things that help a particular group or another person politically."

Follow the Science - Not the Manipulative Propaganda

In yet another shining testament to human gullibility, millions of people have been convinced that nature's most nutrient-dense and evolutionary-correct food - meat - is in fact bad for humans. They have been further conned that avoiding this incredibly healthful food will prevent disease and extend longevity. They have even been convinced that avoiding a food hominids have been eating with great success for over 2.5 million years will somehow make us more peaceful and spiritually elevated beings.

The latter argument can easily be dismissed with a few choice names: Adolf Hitler (vegetarian and infamous megalomaniac), Harley "Durianrider" Johnstone (raw vegan and psychopath/narcissist/fraudster/stalker/cyberbully/alleged sex predator/utter scumbag), and Dan Hoyt (vegan restauranteur to the stars and serial public masturbator).

The alleged health benefits of meatless malnutrition, in contrast, are given credence by a facade of 'science'. Most of this pseudoscience takes the form of epidemiological prospective and cross-sectional studies in which the vegetarian participants allegedly experienced superior health outcomes over time when compared to non-vegetarian subjects.

Most of this epidemiological pseudoscience emanates from two sources:

    1) Loma Linda University, which is run by the Seventh-day Adventist religion, whose 'prophetess' Ellen G White espoused a vegetarian diet, and;

    2) Oxford University, home to the Oxford Vegetarians, whose members' names feature on many pro-vegetarian 'studies' (Timothy Key and Paul Appleby are two prominent examples). By the way, another infamous Oxford alumni is Peter Singer, the 'bioethicist' (a term used to describe people with incredibly twisted, anti-human ethics) who has waxed much lyrical about animal welfare yet sees nothing wrong with bestiality or pedophilia.

The studies pumped out by these entities are heavily-biased, confounder-prone and easily-debunked garbage that I've dismantled numerous times over the years.

However, it's always nice to see published confirmation of what I've been saying all along.

In 2014, the International Journal of Cardiology published a systematic review and meta-analysis you almost certainly haven't heard about because it doesn't support the globalist anti-meat agenda.

Authored by UK researchers not from Oxford, it featured a pooled analysis of eight studies encompassing 183,321 participants. Six were prospective cohort studies and 2 were observational cohort studies "where it was not clear if their design was prospective or retrospective," which should give you some idea of the quality of research used to prop up "plant-based" eating. One of those studies involved Japanese monks, the other SDAs in the Netherlands. Neither featured a non-vegetarian 'control' sample within the same population; instead, these studies simply used standardized mortality rates for the surrounding population.

Adjustment for confounders was poor. Six studies adjusted for potential confounders, while the use of adjustment was not clear in the two aforementioned studies. Only two studies adjusted for BMI, and five adjusted for smoking status.

True adherence to vegetarian or non-vegetarian diets in these studies is unknown, as some involved a single questionnaire administered at the start of the study.

    The results?

All-cause mortality: Three of 8 studies involved Seventh-day Adventist cohorts. All three Adventist cohorts demonstrated significant associations between vegetarian diet and reduced all-cause mortality, whereas the 4 non-Adventist studies examining all-cause death did not show any mortality reduction in vegetarians.

Ischaemic heart disease or cardiac adverse events: Two of the 3 Adventist cohorts demonstrated significant associations between vegetarian diet and reduced cardiac adverse events, whereas the non-Adventist studies each failed to show any benefit in vegetarians.

Cerebrovascular disease (stroke): One Adventist cohort showed significant reduction in cerebrovascular events while the other did not; when pooled there was no significant difference. There was no significant difference in cerebrovascular disease in any of the four non-Adventist studies.

The authors concluded: "Data from observational studies indicates that there is modest cardiovascular benefit, but no clear reduction in overall mortality associated with a vegetarian diet. This evidence of benefit is driven mainly by studies in SDA, whereas the effect of vegetarian diet in other cohorts remains unproven."

A 2016 meta-analysis of 108 cross-sectional and prospective cohort studies by Italian researchers returned a similar finding.

Among Adventist vegetarian cohorts, the pooled risk of all-cause mortality was 0.84; among Non-Adventist vegetarians it was 1.04 (less than 1.0 represents reduced risk, greater than 1.0 represents increased risk).

For Adventist vegetarians, the pooled risk of breast cancer mortality was 0.79; among Non-Adventist vegetarians it was 1.40.

Among studies rated as medium quality, the all-cause mortality risk for vegetarians was 0.93; in studies rated as high quality, the risk was 1.05.

So vegetarian diets only show a mortality benefit in lower quality studies involving Seventh-day Adventists.

    Why is that?

    Confounders, my little grasshoppers, confounders.

SDA members are encouraged to not only avoid meat, but to abstain from smoking, non-medicinal drugs and alcohol, and to have regular exercise, sufficient rest and maintain stable psychosocial relationships.

As with most religions, adherence to these recommendations varies widely. Researchers have found intensity of religious involvement (e.g. higher church attendance) correlates with lower rates of substance abuse, higher likelihood of marriage and lower rate of divorce, and lower all-cause mortality.

As the UK researchers noted, "the non-dietary factors (confounders) in SDA lifestyle may be responsible for the risk reduction among the vegetarian studies."

In other words, the SDA studies are not showing a health benefit of vegetarianism; they are showing a health benefit of religiosity. More devout followers are not just more likely to abstain from meat - they are more likely to abstain from smoking, drugs, overeating and other intemperate lifestyle practices.

While they are by no means guilt-free entities with exemplary ethics, the fact remains most major religions do feature at least some beneficial lifestyle prescriptions, including temperance, moderation, monogamy/avoidance of promiscuity and charity/community above wealth accumulation/self-aggrandizement.

Few people want to admit it in this self-entitled, instant gratification-oriented age, but there's a lot to be said for not drinking and eating to excess, not smoking and doing drugs, and not staying out late indiscriminately fighting and fornicating.

There's also much to be admired about striving to forge stronger family and community bonds instead of trying to outrank other attention-seeking wankers on social media.

It's sad that humans need theologies to get them to embrace what should be plain commonsense but, hey, we are talking the same species that made crack cocaine and "brown showers" a thing.

    Discussion

Compassion - which motivates people to relieve the physical and psychological pains of others - is one of the most beautiful and admirable of all feelings.

It is also one of the most dangerous, because it is so easily manipulated by conniving psychopaths. Witness the ease with which they used the "we're all in this together" lie to con people into readily embracing COVID tyranny. GloboPedo cynically exploits concern for the environment to impose freedom- and economy-destroying regulations on society. The globalists exploit concern for animal welfare to impose harmful dietary recommendations that will ultimately render us sicker and weaker.

Globalists know full well vegetarianism and veganism are scams. Heck, they are the driving force behind those scams. Their farcical climate change get-togethers feature lavish meat- and dairy-rich dishes.

The Conference of the Parties (COP) is the unelected "decision-making body responsible for monitoring and reviewing the implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change." Every year, traitors from countries all around the world fly in on gas-guzzling private jets to the host city and pretend to be concerned about the environment, while they get down to the real business of enjoying lavish gala meals and prostitutes at taxpayer expense.

The menu at the 2021 COP26 in Glasgow was almost 60 per cent meat or dairy dishes. The same crowd that wants you and I to abstain from meat and increase our plant and bug intake dined on such luxuriant items as burgers, venison, beef ramen, haggis, farmed salmon, and Scottish buffalo mozzarella pizza.

Brought to you by the same evil cretins who insist by 2030 you will own nothing and be happy.
Globalists don't give two turds about the environment nor animals. Their idea of environmental conservation is getting rid of the rest of us to 'offset' their lavish and environmentally-harmful lifestyles.

Stop being a useless idiot. Stop succumbing to the patently fraudulent propaganda of megalomaniac psychopaths. Stop unwittingly helping them to enact their agendas. If you want to show compassion for animals, adopt one from a shelter and treat it like the precious gift it is; chances are it will prove to be the best friend you ever had.

Discussion Compassion - which motivates people to relieve the physical and psychological pains of others - is one of the most beautiful and admirable of all feelings. • “Brain Dead” is NOT Dead! LIVE people are murdered daily for organs and to “save money”
You MUST KNOW that “no brain activity” means NOTHING except that doctors didn’t do the tests that would find the brain activity. Don’t let your loved one be killed.

    Brucha Weisberger
    BS”D

From the beginning of time, people knew that cessation of heartbeat and breath meant death. This is the G-d-given definition, and it is logical. Since it’s real, this definition does not require anything to “prop it up.”

Of course, G-d, Who creates life, is the only One Who has the authority to say when it ends, and to end it. Unfortunately, two motivations came into play in the 20th century to create a new, and false, “definition” of death.

Marina Zhang at Epoch Times explains in her June 2024 article, “Brain-Dead People May Not Be Dead—Here’s Why.” https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/are-brain-dead-people-really-dead-5629496

The definition of brain death, also known as death by neurological criteria, is when a person falls into a permanent coma, loses their brainstem reflexes and consciousness, and can’t breathe without stimulus or support.

Yet a person’s heart can be beating, his or her organs functional, and he or she can fight off infection, grow, and even carry babies to term. (Delivery of a Healthy Baby from a Brain-Dead Woman After 117 Days of Somatic Support: A Case Report - PMC https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8141338/)

Though they may exhibit no signs of consciousness, some areas of the brain may still work. About 50 percent of brain-death patients retain activity in their hypothalamus, which coordinates the body’s endocrine system and regulates body temperature.

However, all of this stops if they are taken off life support.

What is the big rush to declare death and take people off of breathing assistance?

First, there is a need for transplant organs, and second, a wish to “save resources” by having people hurry up and die already.

From Rachel Aviv’s article in the New Yorker, 2018: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018/02/05/what-does-it-mean-to-die

Until the nineteen-sixties, cardio-respiratory failure was the only way to die. The notion that death could be diagnosed in the brain didn’t emerge until after the advent of the modern ventilator, allowing what was known at the time as “oxygen treatment”: as long as blood carrying oxygen reached the heart, it could continue to beat. In 1967, Henry Beecher, a renowned bioethicist at Harvard Medical School, wrote to a colleague, “It would be most desirable for a group at Harvard University to come to some subtle conclusion as to a new definition of death.” Permanently comatose patients, maintained by mechanical ventilators, were “increasing in numbers over the land and there are a number of problems which should be faced up to.”

Beecher created a committee comprising men who already knew one another: ten doctors, one lawyer, one historian, and one theologian. In less than six months, they completed a report, which they published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The only citation in the article was from a speech by the Pope. They proposed that the irreversible destruction of the brain should be defined as death, giving two reasons: to relieve the burden on families and hospitals, which were providing futile care to patients who would never recover, and to address the fact that “obsolete criteria for the definition of death can lead to controversy in obtaining organs for transplantation,” a field that had developed rapidly; in the previous five years, doctors had performed the world’s first transplant of a pancreas, a liver, a lung, and a heart. In an earlier draft, the second reason was stated more directly: “There is great need for the tissues and organs of the hopelessly comatose in order to restore to health those who are still salvageable.” (The sentence was revised after Harvard’s medical dean wrote that “the connotation of this statement is unfortunate.”)

In the next twelve years, twenty-seven states rewrote their definitions of death to conform to the Harvard committee’s conclusions. Thousands of lives were prolonged or saved every year because patients declared brain-dead—a form of death eventually adopted by the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and most of Europe—were now eligible to donate their organs. The philosopher Peter Singer described it as “a concept so desirable in its consequences that it is unthinkable to give up, and so shaky on its foundations that it can scarcely be supported.” The new death was “an ethical choice masquerading as a medical fact,” he wrote.

Legal ambiguities remained—people considered alive in one region of the country could be declared dead in another—and, in 1981, the President’s Commission for the Study of Ethical Problems proposed a uniform definition and theory of death. Its report, which was endorsed by the American Medical Association, stated that death is the moment when the body stops operating as an “integrated whole.” Even if life continues in individual organs and cells, the person is no longer alive, because the functioning organs are merely a collection of artificially maintained subsystems that will inevitably disintegrate. “The heart usually stops beating within two to ten days,” the report said.

The commission’s staff philosopher, Daniel Wikler, a professor at Harvard and the first staff ethicist for the World Health Organization, told me that he didn’t think the commission’s theory of death was supported by the scientific facts it cited. “I thought it was demonstrably untrue, but so what?” he said. “I didn’t see a downside at the time.” Wikler told the commission that it would be more logical to say that death occurred when the cerebrum—the center for consciousness, thoughts, and feelings, the properties essential to having a personal identity—was destroyed. His formulation would have rendered a much broader population of patients, including those who could breathe on their own, dead.

Despite Wikler’s reservations, he drafted the third chapter of the report, “Understanding the ‘Meaning’ of Death.” “I was put in a tight spot, and I fudged,” he told me. “I knew that there was an air of bad faith about it. I made it seem like there are a lot of profound unknowns and went in the direction of fuzziness, so that no one could say, ‘Hey, your philosopher says this is nonsense.’ That’s what I thought, but you’d never know from what I wrote.”

So much for “brain dead” being a scientific definition.

It is truly horrifying to contemplate that living, feeling people have their vital organs barbarically cut out while they are alive. Organs must be “harvested” from live donors in order to be viable. Live, in the true sense of the word - the heart is beating. (As you will see in this article, there is awareness, as well, even if the person cannot express it.)

    From Marina Zhang’s ET article:

Among European anesthesiologists, there is an ongoing debate about whether brain-dead organ donors should be given consciousness blockers during organ procurement.

Some argue that they should do so in case patients feel pain. Others disagree. Surprisingly, the anesthesiologists’ position is “not based on the claim that patients were incapable of experiencing pain,” but, instead, out of concern that the public might have doubts about the brain-death diagnosis, bioethicists Dr. Robert Truog and Franklin Miller (who has a doctorate in philosophy) wrote in their book, “Death, Dying, and Organ Transplantation.”

Dr. Ronald Dworkin, a research fellow and anesthesiologist, wrote in an article on organ procurement that he chose to give consciousness blockers because he thought his patient “might still be a ‘little alive’, [sic] whatever that means.”

Mr. Miller, who is also a professor of medical ethics in medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, said the label of brain death is misleading. He and Dr. Truog, professor of anesthesiology and director emeritus of the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics, are of the opinion that brain-dead people are alive but likely will not regain consciousness and recover.

See this chilling account by a doctor, in the ET article:

It was 1989, and she was still a resident anesthesiologist, Dr. Heidi Klessig recalled in her book, “The Brain Death Fallacy.”

One day, her attending anesthesiologist told her to prepare a brain-dead organ donor for organ removal surgery.

Upon examining the patient, Dr. Klessig was surprised to find that the man looked exactly like every other critically ill, living patient and, in fact, better than most.

“He was warm, his heart was beating, and his monitors showed stable vital signs,” Dr. Klessig wrote. “Nevertheless, on his bedside exam, he checked all the boxes for brain death, and the neurologist declared him ‘dead.’”

Dr. Klessig’s supervising attending anesthesiologist asked her what anesthesia she was going to give the donor for the operation.

Her answer was a paralyzing agent so the donor wouldn’t move during surgery, as well as some fentanyl to blunt the body’s responses to pain.

The anesthesiologist looked at her and asked, “Well, are you going to give anything to block consciousness?”

Dr. Klessig was stunned. Consciousness blockers are given to patients to ensure they aren’t awake and aware during an operation.

Her education told her that brain-dead patients should not be conscious; apart from having a biologically active body, their minds were gone.

“I looked at him and said, ‘Why would I do that? Isn’t he dead?’”

Her attending anesthesiologist looked at her and asked, “Why don’t you give him something to block consciousness—just in case.”

“I get a pit in my stomach every time I remember his face,” Dr. Klessig told The Epoch Times. “I remember him looking at me over his mask ... It seemed very confusing.

Please don’t miss the extremely powerful video testimony above.

It is horrific to realize that parents and other family members are routinely told that their child or loved one is “dead” because of absence of “brain activity” when in reality, the person is alive, and will die only when the family agrees to to having the respirator unplugged - in order words, to have their relative murdered.

Someone that I know personally told me of an immensely tragic case that he was was involved with, in which a brain-injured child whom he was helping to heal after she had been declared “brain dead,” was murdered after he was removed from the premises. The child had been making progress towards recovery. He knows of many other similar cases. In one case, the child’s father witnessed with his own eyes the nurse giving the child an injection, after which the child’s heart stopped - but the nurse denied administering anything.

This person that I know told me of a doctor in Louisiana, Dr. Paul Harch, who has helped scores of “brain dead” children and adults to become completely well again - using a walk-in hyperbaric oxygen chamber which accommodates people on life support.

Dr. Harch uses a special test that can pick up brain activity not picked up on standard brain tests - but hospitals refuse to use it.

Why do the powers-that-be want people dead, so badly?

Here are some stories which clearly illustrate how very much alive people who are pronounced “brain dead” actually are. Most of them were collected on this website: https://www.respectforhumanlife.com/survivors

Harrison Elmer: Three week old boy with meningitis had life support machine turned off - but staged a miracle recovery

    https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/three-week-old-boy-meningitis-6733061

Harrison had become desperately ill after being struck down by meningitis and doctors said they could do no more.

Scans showed he was completely brain dead.

Heartbroken Samantha Baker, 22, and Adam Ellmer, 26, chose to take Harrison to a hospice so he could pass away peacefully by their side.

But after the machine was turned off, little Harrison not only managed to breathe on his own, he began an incredible journey back to health.

Now he is about to reach his third birthday, and is hitting all the milestones as expected.

Samantha, a full-time mum, said: “When Harrison's life support was switched off we never imagined he would continue to breathe.

“We were all so heartbroken when we were told he wasn't going to survive, it felt like a real miracle.

“Despite surviving, doctors still warned us that he would never be able to walk or talk.

“We were terrified but so thankful he had survived that we just took each day as it came.”

Jahi Mcmath 2000 - 2018 Declared "Brain Dead" in the state of California in December 2013. She lived five more years in New Jersey post diagnosis

Jahi’s case is particularly tragic because it didn’t have to happen - she had surgery to remove her tonsils, because of sleep apnea which caused her exhaustion and difficulty focusing. Her post-op observation was grossly lacking, and her unusual bleeding was ignored. Jahi hemorrhaged and lost her pulse. Doctors declared her “brain dead,” but her mother never gave up. She fought and fought against the furious medical “professionals:”

On December 19th, ten days after the surgery, David Durand, the hospital’s senior vice-president and chief medical officer, held a meeting with the family. They asked Durand to allow Jahi to remain on the ventilator [for six more days], suggesting that the swelling in her brain might subside. Durand said no. They also asked that she be given a feeding tube. Durand dismissed this request, too. The idea that the procedure would help her recover was an “absurd notion,” he later wrote, and would only add to the “illusion that she is not dead.”

When they persisted, Durand asked, “What is it that you don’t understand?” According to Jahi’s mother, stepfather, grandmother, brother, and Dolan, who took notes, Durand pounded his fist on the table, saying, “She’s dead, dead, dead.”

Jahi’s mother wouldn’t give up, and moved Jahi to another state. Her family constantly spoke with her and stimulated her. Despite having a death certificate, Jahi was clearly alive. She would move her hands and feet in response to requests, and even began menstruating (a process mediated by the hypothalamus, near the front of the brain.)

On the (MRI) scans, Machado observed that Jahi’s brain stem was nearly destroyed. The nerve fibres that connect the brain’s right and left hemispheres were barely recognizable. But large areas of her cerebrum, which mediates consciousness, language, and voluntary movements, were structurally intact.

Unfortunately, Jahi passed away of liver failure after five years of devoted care and of progress.

On Thursday, a senior doctor told the High Court she was "shocked" when a baby declared brain stem dead after two tests began breathing by himself two weeks later.

The court heard that ventilation continued on the four-month-old after he was declared dead because there was an ongoing legal dispute.

In July, doctors treating him at a London hospital were forced to rescind "the clinical ascertainment of death" after a nurse noticed the infant had independent rhythmic breathing.

Mr Justice Hayden, who has been asked by Guys' and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust to decide what is in the baby's best interests, said the juxtaposition of a baby being declared dead but then breathing independently is "striking even for those of us experienced in these cases". He called the test "unreliable".

The doctor said the "wording" of the test could be changed to include a warning about the test's reliability.

She said she had approached the AMRC to explain what happened, saying it would be "problematic" if news of the test's unreliability "got out in the public domain".

The brain stem test is a clinical test done when there is clear evidence of serious brain damage that cannot be cured. It is a series of mini tests to check the brain's automatic functions including reaction to light in the eyes, ice-cold water in the ear and a short period off a ventilator to see whether a patient attempts to take a breath.

    Lewis Roberts

In March 2021, 18-year-old Lewis Roberts was declared brain stem dead after a road accident but began breathing independently hours before his organs were to be extracted for donation. Today he is well enough to play football and basketball.

Last month his sister told Sky News the test is done too soon.

"They rushed it through," she said.

"Eight months ago he was sat in a wheelchair, his eyes were gone, he couldn't speak. From how he was then to how he is now, that just shows that the brain can heal given the time."

It’s not only young people who can have miraculous recoveries. Here, a woman in her seventies who had a severe heart attack made a comeback after 6 days of a flat EEG.

This story by Judy Doobov, from the book Small Miracles for the Jewish Heart, was republished on Chabad.org.

After sustaining a severe heart attack in 1973, my grandmother sank into a deep coma and was placed on life support systems in the hospital. Her EEG was totally flat, indicating zero brain activity. She was hooked up both to a pacemaker that made her heart beat artificially and a respirator that made her lungs breathe artificially. But technically, as the doctors told me privately, she was basically as good as dead. "She'll never come out of the coma," they said, "and she's better off this way. If she did, her life would be meaningless. She'd exist in a purely vegetative state.

Even though she was in her mid-seventies and had lived a full life, I refused to believe that my beloved grandmother could simply slip away like this. She was too feisty, too vital to just disappear into a coma. My instincts told me to start talking to her and keep chatting away. I stayed at her bedside day and night, and that's precisely what I did. I spoke to her all the time about my husband and our two small children, about other relatives, about her own life. I told her all the news that was circulating in Australia at the time. I also kept urging her to keep clinging to life, not to give up. "Don't you dare leave us!" I exhorted. "I need you, Mom needs you, your grandchildren need you. They're just beginning to get to know you. It's too soon for you to go!"

It was hard for me to do battle for my grandmother's life, alone as I was. During the time that she fell ill, I was her only relative in Sydney. Her daughter (my mother) was away overseas on a trip, and my only sibling — a brother — lived in Israel. My husband was home caring for our children so that I could take my post at her bedside. I stood a solitary vigil, but that was not what placed such tremendous pressure on me. What was enormously difficult was being asked to make decisions alone. The emotional burden was huge.

When four days passed with no signs of life flickering in either my grandmother's eyes or her hands, and no change recorded by the EEG, the doctors advised me to authorize the papers that would turn off the life support systems. I trembled to think that I held the power of consigning my grandmother to an early grave. "But she's really already dead," the doctors argued. "She's just being kept artificially alive by the pacemaker and the respirator. Keeping her hooked up to these machines is just a waste."

"Well, listen," I said. "It's Thursday afternoon, and in the Jewish religion we bury people right away. My parents are overseas — practically two days away — and they would certainly want to be here for the funeral. But we don't do funerals on Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath. The earliest we could do the funeral would be on Sunday. So let me call my parents to get ready to fly home, and I'll sign the papers on Sunday." It was all very cold and calculating, but deep inside, my heart was aching.

Meanwhile, I didn't let up. I kept talking up a storm. "Guess what, Grandma?" I gossiped. "You won't believe who ended up being your roommate here in the hospital! Stringfellow! Your next door neighbor at home, Mrs. Stringfellow, was just brought in with a serious condition. Isn't that a coincidence? She lives next door to you in Sydney and now she's your roommate here in the hospital!"

On Saturday, I was at my usual post at my grandmother's bedside, getting ready to start a round of tearful goodbyes, when I thought I noticed her eyes blinking. I called a nurse and told her what I had seen. "It's just your imagination, dearie," the nurse said compassionately. "Why don't you go downstairs for some coffee, and I'll stay with her until you come back?"

But when I returned, the nurse was brimming over with excitement herself. "You know," she said, "I think you may be right. I've been sitting here watching your grandmother, and I could swear I saw her blinking, too."

A few hours later, my grandmother's eyelids flew open. She stared at me and then craned her neck to look at the empty bed on the other side of the room. "Hey," she yelled, "what happened to Stringfellow?"

By the time my mother arrived at the hospital the next day, my grandmother was sitting up in bed, conversing cheerfully with the hospital staff, and looking perfectly normal. My mother glared at me, annoyed, sure I had exaggerated my grandmother's condition. "For this, I had to schlep all the way home?" she asked.

Later, my grandmother told me that while she was in the "coma" she had heard every single word that was said to her and about her. She repeated all the conversations to me, and her retention was remarkable.

"I kept shouting to you," she said, "but somehow you didn't hear me. I kept on trying to tell you, 'Don't bury me yet.'"

After she was discharged from the hospital, my grandmother's quality of life remained excellent. She lived on her own as a self-sufficient, independent, and high-spirited lady and continued to live in this manner until her death sixteen years after I almost pulled the plug.

How the world has spiraled downwards. When I read my husband the Australian miracle story above, which happened fifty years ago, he commented that today, the nurse who offered to “stay with grandma” while the granddaughter took a coffee break would likely have been the one to pull the plug in her absence.

There are many more stories of survivors of a “brain death” diagnosis on the respectforhumanlife.com site. For example:

    Zack Dunlap

21 year old Oklahoman Zack Dunlap was declared “brain dead” in November 2007 after a terrible ATV accident. It was so bad that brain matter was coming out of his ear, and a blood flow scan showed no blood flow to his brain. Zack heard the doctors pronounce his 'death'. Minutes before his organ harvest was about to begin, his grandmother prayed for him to live, and his cousin urged him to pray for himself. Within minutes, Zack’s cousin proved that he had reflexes. 48 days after he was declared dead, Zack left the rehab hospital, and lives a fully recovered life. You must read Zack’s entire miraculous story here: https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna23768436

    Taylor Hale

14 year old Iowa girl Taylor Hale was injured in an accident. Her parents were told that she was brain dead and that her brain had “turned to mush;” now she is alive and well: https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/local/daniel-finney/2015/05/12/waukee-faith-healing-graduation/27207307/

    Steven Thorpe

21 year old Steven Thorpe was declared “brain dead” after a car accident in February 2008, after only two days in the hospital. His parents refused to accept the diagnosis, and demanded a second opinion. After four doctors confirmed the diagnosis, the family still refused to give up, and two weeks later, Steven woke up. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-17757112

    Trenton McKinley

13 year old Alabama boy Trenton McKinley was diagnosed as “brain dead” in March 2018 after an accident caused severe brain trauma. His parents had signed papers for his organ donation. The day before the harvest surgery he started showing signs of life and began a long recovery.

“A man from the UAB organ donation came and talked to us in the family conference room about donating five organs to UAB children's hospital that would save five other children. But just a day before doctors were set to end Trenton's life support, he showed signs of cognition, and now he's slowly going through recovery.”

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trenton-mckinley-regains-consciousness-after-parents-sign-papers-to-donate-his-organs-2018-05-06/

    James Howard Jones

James Howard-Jones was diagnosed “brain dead” after being attacked in April 2022. His family asked doctors to delay the organ donation for a week so James’ friends and family could say goodbye. Waiting the few extra days led to James waking up, despite his diagnosis.

•Colleen S. Burns 1969 - 2011, was diagnosed "brain dead" after an attempted overdose in 2009. She awoke on the operating table minutes before her organs were to be harvested. Sadly, she passed away in 2011 of depression.

I remember my disbelief and sadness in 2005 as brain-injured Terry Schiavo was starved and dehydrated to death by her estranged husband - under a court order permitting him to do so.

And today? That same horrific murder by starvation and dehydration is now an everyday story, “brain dead” or not.

Terry Schiavo’s brother now campaigns for the right of brain-injured people to food and water, and has an organization to assist families facing brain-injury crisis. See https://terrischiavo.org/terri-schiavo-life-hope-network/ and https://www.lifeandhope.com/.

What should family members do if faced with the unthinkable diagnosis of “brain death,” G-d forbid?

Prayer to the One and only Creator of the world is the most effective avenue of all.

Insist that your religious beliefs do not allow for discontinuation of life support.

Keep fighting them off to give your loved one time to recover. Do not leave the patient alone, and watch the patient vigilantly, as medical personnel may take matters into their own hands.

Treatments which have helped “brain dead” patients recover include:

    •hyperbaric oxygen therapy

    •ozone therapy

    •craniosacral visceral manipulations

    •lymphatic drainage therapy

•transcranial low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy

•high doses of Omega 3 fatty acids, found in fish oil.

From Unbekoming’s interview of Lourdes Lavoy, whose “brain dead” daughter is well today:

When our daughter was hospitalized with a severe brain injury (brain dead), we were informed that the hospital would keep her alive until we could arrive and say our goodbyes. The hospital was unaware that I am Option C. I conducted my own research and discovered that high doses of omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil could potentially reverse severe brain damage. When we arrived at the hospital, it was not to say goodbye to our daughter, but to instruct the medical staff on how we were going to save her. Chris was respectful and considerate in his approach, but when I noticed that we were not deviating from the hospital's predetermined course of action, I intervened and was less than polite. This is a critical aspect of Option C that people must understand. Option C acknowledges the reality that the hospital does not have complete control over the measures taken to restore a patient's health. My daughter got a high dose of fish oil, as I demanded, and she is alive and well today. The hospital and its doctors cannot compel a patient to receive a particular treatment or dictate how they should proceed with their recovery.

Marina Zhang at Epoch Times explains in her June 2024 article, “Brain-Dead People May Not Be Dead—Here’s Why.” https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/are-brain-dead-people-really-dead-5629496 The definition of brain death, also known as death by neurological criteria, is when a person falls into a permanent coma, loses their brainstem reflexes and consciousness, and can’t breathe without stimulus or support. Yet a person’s heart can be beating, his or her organs functional, and he or she can fight off infection, grow, and even carry babies to term. (Delivery of a Healthy Baby from a Brain-Dead Woman After 117 Days of Somatic Support: A Case Report - PMC https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8141338/) Though they may exhibit no signs of consciousness, some areas of the brain may still work. From Rachel Aviv’s article in the New Yorker, 2018: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018/02/05/what-does-it-mean-to-die Until the nineteen-sixties, cardio-respiratory failure was the only way to die. The notion that death could be diagnosed in the brain didn’t emerge until after the advent of the modern ventilator, allowing what was known at the time as “oxygen treatment”: as long as blood carrying oxygen reached the heart, it could continue to beat. In 1967, Henry Beecher, a renowned bioethicist at Harvard Medical School, wrote to a colleague, “It would be most desirable for a group at Harvard University to come to some subtle conclusion as to a new definition of death.” Permanently comatose patients, maintained by mechanical ventilators, were “increasing in numbers over the land and there are a number of problems which should be faced up to.” Beecher created a committee comprising men who already knew one another: ten doctors, one lawyer, one historian, and one theologian. In an earlier draft, the second reason was stated more directly: “There is great need for the tissues and organs of the hopelessly comatose in order to restore to health those who are still salvageable.” (The sentence was revised after Harvard’s medical dean wrote that “the connotation of this statement is unfortunate.”) In the next twelve years, twenty-seven states rewrote their definitions of death to conform to the Harvard committee’s conclusions. I made it seem like there are a lot of profound unknowns and went in the direction of fuzziness, so that no one could say, ‘Hey, your philosopher says this is nonsense.’ That’s what I thought, but you’d never know from what I wrote.” So much for “brain dead” being a scientific definition. It is truly horrifying to contemplate that living, feeling people have their vital organs barbarically cut out while they are alive. Organs must be “harvested” from live donors in order to be viable. Live, in the true sense of the word - the heart is beating. (As you will see in this article, there is awareness, as well, even if the person cannot express it.) From Marina Zhang’s ET article: Among European anesthesiologists, there is an ongoing debate about whether brain-dead organ donors should be given consciousness blockers during organ procurement. Robert Truog and Franklin Miller (who has a doctorate in philosophy) wrote in their book, “Death, Dying, and Organ Transplantation.” Dr. Ronald Dworkin, a research fellow and anesthesiologist, wrote in an article on organ procurement that he chose to give consciousness blockers because he thought his patient “might still be a ‘little alive’, [sic] whatever that means.” Mr. See this chilling account by a doctor, in the ET article: It was 1989, and she was still a resident anesthesiologist, Dr. Heidi Klessig recalled in her book, “The Brain Death Fallacy.” One day, her attending anesthesiologist told her to prepare a brain-dead organ donor for organ removal surgery. Upon examining the patient, Dr. Klessig was surprised to find that the man looked exactly like every other critically ill, living patient and, in fact, better than most. “He was warm, his heart was beating, and his monitors showed stable vital signs,” Dr. Klessig wrote. “Nevertheless, on his bedside exam, he checked all the boxes for brain death, and the neurologist declared him ‘dead.’” Dr. Klessig’s supervising attending anesthesiologist asked her what anesthesia she was going to give the donor for the operation. Her answer was a paralyzing agent so the donor wouldn’t move during surgery, as well as some fentanyl to blunt the body’s responses to pain. The anesthesiologist looked at her and asked, “Well, are you going to give anything to block consciousness?” Dr. Klessig was stunned. Consciousness blockers are given to patients to ensure they aren’t awake and aware during an operation. Her education told her that brain-dead patients should not be conscious; apart from having a biologically active body, their minds were gone. “I looked at him and said, ‘Why would I do that? Isn’t he dead?’” Her attending anesthesiologist looked at her and asked, “Why don’t you give him something to block consciousness—just in case.” “I get a pit in my stomach every time I remember his face,” Dr. Most of them were collected on this website: https://www.respectforhumanlife.com/survivors Harrison Elmer: Three week old boy with meningitis had life support machine turned off - but staged a miracle recovery https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/three-week-old-boy-meningitis-6733061 Harrison had become desperately ill after being struck down by meningitis and doctors said they could do no more. “We were terrified but so thankful he had survived that we just took each day as it came.” Jahi Mcmath 2000 - 2018 Declared "Brain Dead" in the state of California in December 2013. She lived five more years in New Jersey post diagnosis Jahi’s case is particularly tragic because it didn’t have to happen - she had surgery to remove her tonsils, because of sleep apnea which caused her exhaustion and difficulty focusing. Her post-op observation was grossly lacking, and her unusual bleeding was ignored. Jahi hemorrhaged and lost her pulse. Doctors declared her “brain dead,” but her mother never gave up. She fought and fought against the furious medical “professionals:” On December 19th, ten days after the surgery, David Durand, the hospital’s senior vice-president and chief medical officer, held a meeting with the family. They asked Durand to allow Jahi to remain on the ventilator [for six more days], suggesting that the swelling in her brain might subside. Durand said no. They also asked that she be given a feeding tube. Durand dismissed this request, too. The idea that the procedure would help her recover was an “absurd notion,” he later wrote, and would only add to the “illusion that she is not dead.” When they persisted, Durand asked, “What is it that you don’t understand?” According to Jahi’s mother, stepfather, grandmother, brother, and Dolan, who took notes, Durand pounded his fist on the table, saying, “She’s dead, dead, dead.” Jahi’s mother wouldn’t give up, and moved Jahi to another state. Her family constantly spoke with her and stimulated her. Despite having a death certificate, Jahi was clearly alive. She would move her hands and feet in response to requests, and even began menstruating (a process mediated by the hypothalamus, near the front of the brain.) On the (MRI) scans, Machado observed that Jahi’s brain stem was nearly destroyed. The nerve fibres that connect the brain’s right and left hemispheres were barely recognizable. But large areas of her cerebrum, which mediates consciousness, language, and voluntary movements, were structurally intact. Unfortunately, Jahi passed away of liver failure after five years of devoted care and of progress. https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018/02/05/what-does-it-mean-to-die On Thursday, a senior doctor told the High Court she was "shocked" when a baby declared brain stem dead after two tests began breathing by himself two weeks later. Lewis Roberts In March 2021, 18-year-old Lewis Roberts was declared brain stem dead after a road accident but began breathing independently hours before his organs were to be extracted for donation. Today he is well enough to play football and basketball. Last month his sister told Sky News the test is done too soon. "They rushed it through," she said. "Eight months ago he was sat in a wheelchair, his eyes were gone, he couldn't speak. From how he was then to how he is now, that just shows that the brain can heal given the time." https://news.sky.com/story/brain-death-test-in-uk-under-review-after-baby-declared-dead-began-breathing-independently-12681630 It’s not only young people who can have miraculous recoveries. It's too soon for you to go!" It was hard for me to do battle for my grandmother's life, alone as I was. Keeping her hooked up to these machines is just a waste." "Well, listen," I said. She lives next door to you in Sydney and now she's your roommate here in the hospital!" On Saturday, I was at my usual post at my grandmother's bedside, getting ready to start a round of tearful goodbyes, when I thought I noticed her eyes blinking. I called a nurse and told her what I had seen. "It's just your imagination, dearie," the nurse said compassionately. "Why don't you go downstairs for some coffee, and I'll stay with her until you come back?" But when I returned, the nurse was brimming over with excitement herself. "You know," she said, "I think you may be right. I've been sitting here watching your grandmother, and I could swear I saw her blinking, too." A few hours later, my grandmother's eyelids flew open. She stared at me and then craned her neck to look at the empty bed on the other side of the room. "Hey," she yelled, "what happened to Stringfellow?" By the time my mother arrived at the hospital the next day, my grandmother was sitting up in bed, conversing cheerfully with the hospital staff, and looking perfectly normal. I kept on trying to tell you, 'Don't bury me yet.'" After she was discharged from the hospital, my grandmother's quality of life remained excellent. She lived on her own as a self-sufficient, independent, and high-spirited lady and continued to live in this manner until her death sixteen years after I almost pulled the plug. https://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/68197/jewish/Coma.htm How the world has spiraled downwards. For example: Zack Dunlap 21 year old Oklahoman Zack Dunlap was declared “brain dead” in November 2007 after a terrible ATV accident. You must read Zack’s entire miraculous story here: https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna23768436 Taylor Hale 14 year old Iowa girl Taylor Hale was injured in an accident. Her parents were told that she was brain dead and that her brain had “turned to mush;” now she is alive and well: https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/local/daniel-finney/2015/05/12/waukee-faith-healing-graduation/27207307/ Steven Thorpe 21 year old Steven Thorpe was declared “brain dead” after a car accident in February 2008, after only two days in the hospital. His parents refused to accept the diagnosis, and demanded a second opinion. After four doctors confirmed the diagnosis, the family still refused to give up, and two weeks later, Steven woke up. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-17757112 Trenton McKinley 13 year old Alabama boy Trenton McKinley was diagnosed as “brain dead” in March 2018 after an accident caused severe brain trauma. His parents had signed papers for his organ donation. The day before the harvest surgery he started showing signs of life and began a long recovery. “A man from the UAB organ donation came and talked to us in the family conference room about donating five organs to UAB children's hospital that would save five other children. But just a day before doctors were set to end Trenton's life support, he showed signs of cognition, and now he's slowly going through recovery.” https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trenton-mckinley-regains-consciousness-after-parents-sign-papers-to-donate-his-organs-2018-05-06/ James Howard Jones James Howard-Jones was diagnosed “brain dead” after being attacked in April 2022. Treatments which have helped “brain dead” patients recover include: •hyperbaric oxygen therapy •ozone therapy •craniosacral visceral manipulations •lymphatic drainage therapy •transcranial low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy •high doses of Omega 3 fatty acids, found in fish oil. From Unbekoming’s interview of Lourdes Lavoy, whose “brain dead” daughter is well today: When our daughter was hospitalized with a severe brain injury (brain dead), we were informed that the hospital would keep her alive until we could arrive and say our goodbyes. “Brain Dead” is NOT Dead! LIVE people are murdered daily for organs and to “save money”
You MUST KNOW that “no brain activity” means NOTHING except that doctors didn’t do the tests that would find the brain activity. Don’t let your loved one be killed.

  • Second patient to receive a genetically modified pig kidney has died

NEW YORK - A 54-year-old New Jersey woman who was the second person to receive a kidney transplanted from a genetically modified pig, and who lived with the organ for 47 days, died on July 7, surgeons at NYU Langone Health announced on July 9.

The patient, Ms Lisa Pisano, was critically ill, suffering from both kidney and heart failure. She received the pig kidney on April 12, just eight days after implantation of a mechanical heart pump.

Surgeons were forced to remove the kidney on May 29 after it was damaged by inadequate blood flow related to the heart pump. After the explantation, Ms Pisano resumed kidney dialysis, but was eventually transitioned to hospice care.

Ms Pisano made medical history as the first person with a heart pump who is known to have also received an organ transplant. Patients with kidney failure are usually ineligible to receive a heart pump because of the high risk of dying.

Dr Robert Montgomery, director of the NYU Langone Transplant Institute, said Ms Pisano had contributed greatly to the budding field of xenotransplantation, the transplantation of organs from one species to another.

“Lisa’s contributions to medicine, surgery and xenotransplantation cannot be overstated,” Dr Montgomery said. “Her bravery gave hope to thousands of people living with end-stage kidney or heart failure who could soon benefit from an alternative supply of organs.”

The first patient to receive a kidney from a genetically engineered pig was Mr Richard Slayman, 62, who had the procedure in March at Mass General Brigham in Boston. Though he was well enough to be discharged two weeks after the surgery, he, like Ms Pisano, suffered from complex medical problems and died within two months.

Although the field of xenotransplantation has made great strides in recent years, the procedures are still experimental. Only patients who are so sick that they are not eligible to receive a human organ, and are at risk of dying without treatment, have been cleared to receive animal organs.

The two transplants of kidneys from genetically modified pigs in 2024 were approved under the Food and Drug Administration’s compassionate use, or expanded access, programme for patients with life-threatening conditions. NYTIMES

  • HIS WORD ABOVE HIS NAME!(PS.138:2)

HE WILL NEVER FORSAKE US...HAS HE SAID IT...WILL HE NOT DO IT(ISA.43:1-3)

This is NOT only for you the reader, but also for MYSELF,...yes, also comforting myself with His Word that NEVER falls to the ground...His Word,His Promises that I've experienced NEVER fails...His Strength, the only that thing keeps me struggling to yet hang on till my heart stops breathing. He is the only One that I can depend on to give me succour IN MY SITUATION WHERE ALL HOPE OF MY SURVIVAL HAS BEEN DISCARDED BY RELATIVES...YES,SO FAR, GOD HAS DISAPPOINTED THEM.

Just believe and stick on to God and you will walk on the graves of those waiting for the news of your death in Christ Jesus' Name, AMEN! Just only one condition... accept, love and obey Him and leave the rest for Him. There are some extra critical conditions where our faith is shaken. That's where it ends, shaken, because HE NEVER FORSAKES HIS OWN.
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. (Lam 3: 22)

Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not? (Lam 3: 37)

Now listen to this,no matter how dark the night
No matter what life throws at us
No matter how much injustice we suffer
We can smile in the dark because He's always there

He was with Joseph in the pit
He was with Joseph in prison

He was with Jeremiah at the mockery
He was with Jeremiah in the hole

He was with Peter at the trial
He was with Peter in Prison

He was with Paul at the riots
He was with Paul in Prison
He was with Paul in the shipwreck

He was with disciples in persecution
He was with Stephen at his stoning
He was with John at Patmos
He was with them at the flogging
He was with them at martyrdom

He saw them throw Daniel in the Den
He saw them hurl the boys in the fire
He saw Uriah fall by the enemy’s sword

    He saw Cain killing Abel
He warned Cain before he did it
    He understands injustice…
He has seen more evil than all of us
    He’s the ancient of days!

He saw people nail HIS son
He saw people slap HIS son
He saw men Pierce HIS son
He saw them spit on HIM
He saw them pull HIS beards
He saw them whip HIM sore
    He saw them bury HIM
    He saw them forget HIM
    He saw them leave HIM
    Cold…in a tomb!

    How low can you sink?
    How depressed can you get?
    How discouraged can you get?

    Back at Ziklag,
    He saw them crying hurt
    He saw their bleeding hearts
He saw them counting their losses
He saw them cry till they couldn’t cry more
He saw them want to stone David

    But DAVID!

David saw what they could not!
    David saw the invisible
    David saw beyond the pain
    David saw beyond the loss
He encouraged himself in the Lord
    David recovered all!

Until you see beyond the pain
Until you see beyond the loss
Until you see beyond the injustice
    You can never recover!

    Until you discover inspiration
    Until you discover encouragement
Until you discover God in everything
Until you know God is cheering you
Until you discover God is for you…

    Until God becomes your inspiration
You will never rise above discouragement
Until you realize God fights with you
You will never rise above injustice

    He’ll never leave us
    Nor forsake us!

• A young man asked his grandfather,
"Grandpa, how did you live in the past without technology . . .
    without computers
    without drones
    without bitcoins
    without Internet connection
    without TVs
    without air conditioners
    without cars
    without mobile phones?"

    Grandpa answered:
"Just as your generation lives today . . .
    no prayers,
    no compassion,
    no respect,
    no GMRC,
    no real education,
    poor personality,
    there is no human kindness,
    there is no shame,
    there is no modesty,
    there is no honesty.

We, the people born between the years 1930-1980, were the blessed ones. Our lives are a living proof."

¶ While playing and riding a bike, we have never worn a helmet.
¶ after school we did our homework ourselves and we always played in meadows until sunset
¶ We played with real friends, not virtual friends.
¶ If we were thirsty, we would drink frim the fountain, from the waterfalls, faucet water, not mineral water.
¶ We never worried and get sick even as we shared the same cup or plate with our friends.
¶ We never gained weight by eating bread and pasta every day.
¶ Nothing happened to our feet despite walking barefoot.
¶ We never used food supplements to stay healthy.
¶ We used to make our own toys and play with them.
¶ Our parents were not rich. They gave us love, not material gifts.
¶ We never had a cell phone, DVD, PSP, game console, Xbox, video games, PC, laptop, internet chat . . . but we had true friends.
¶ We visited our friends without being invited and shared and enjoyed the food with their family.
Parents lived nearby to take advantage of family time.
¶ We may have had black and white photos, but you can find colorful memories in these photos.
¶ We are a unique and the most understanding generation, because we are the last generation that listened to their parents.

And we are also the first ones who were forced to listen to their children.~
