I currently see many people and groups on telegram and twitter changing their strategy and trend. previously it was nft games, then defi 1.0 and 2.0 are now dedicated to testnet testing of new platforms, and mainnet layers. but in my opinion, the real niche is in web3 development, and new dapps that really strengthen the blockchain.

What is now available:
Testnet: 21 validator support, simple smart contracts and requirements (token), browser-extension wallet and explorer update. Allows developers to test basic functionality of smart contract on testnet using Remix IDE, dApp connectivity, and the new browser-extension wallet. Verify team and community validators on the testnet env, to be increased progressively.
Mainnet v.1.1: 21 validators support, mainnet explorer. Allows users to explore and access the public mainnet data for the first time. Verify there are three validators live and will be increased progressively.
Benefits that Von Hayek brings to GLITCH:
Allows the team flexibility to resolve unknown vulnerabilities while development continues.
Creates an opportunity to secure the network through agile iterations rather than risk an exploit by releasing it all at once. Once all is secure, technology progression will continue and users will then be able to run a node on the mainnet.

Hey guys! It might have been a bit silent in here, but a lot has been going on so a quick update on main things.


The Swap: At a stage where we can set up on a testnet to set up a test environment for it.


The NFT's: The duck hunt game now mints on own chain... coming week we will try to finish that.


NFT marketplace: A basic frontend is deployed by the team to be built out further.


Merchandise store: A webshop is in development, and we're talking to merch suppliers.


Nodes, nodes, and more nodes! The amount of nodes has slowly increased to ~25 now.


The mining pool is being worked on! Setting up a mining pool to be released when the time is right.


Cloudflare, most sites are set up now, will see to improve/do another round soon.

Icon Airdrop completed. The next Airdrop and airdrip will be for the FIN token. FIN is the token that powers optimus (The Yearn Finance of ICON). Airdrop will only be for users that were part of the testnet. However you can still get the airdrip. Airdrip is ICON way to give to its voters and stake holders. Every week that you stake and vote with ICON, gives you access to airdrips of the token. It is called drip and not drop becasue it drips weekly into your wallet. ICON airdrips have been extremely generous. Can't wait to put my hands and use the new token.

People are dumping quality projects with mainnet delays really hard these days, and this is a big mistake. Last week it was Cellframe, and since that epic dump Cellframe has done well. Recently Glitch has suffered the same exact fate.
If people only understood that mainnet delays are very normal. Look at Zilliqa where it's at today after having it's mainnet delayed in 2018 for a full year or so. In fact, every project that has had long mainnet delays inlcuding Cardano, who takes the cake with over a five year delay has done incredibly well. People lose money and/or never make money in this market because they never learn from these mistakes.
