I trust the Lord God Almighty, that we are all doing well. Please bear with me,as I share my burdens with you... it's indeed important and requires urgent action. I thank everyone of us for our long years of labour and service to the Lord. Brethren, Ephesians 5:15 says; See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, (Eph 5: 15) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Eph 5: 16) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. (Eph 5: 17) I employ us to be conscious of the way we conduct ourselves,the way we live our lives,and the teachings we pass on to the church and the world at large. We have been called to come out of darkness and to be separated,holy, and sanctified; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (1Pe 1: 16) The Lord will not lower His Standards for anyone.. Holiness is still, and remains a requirement for making Heaven.Christ Jesus is coming for a spotless and blameless churchm.There will be no excuse on that Day. How's our congregation...the church of God in our care? Have we become blind guides,leading people astray? As shepherds in the fields of souls,we must take heed,not to cause others to stumble. Let's take time to examine ourselves, brethren,is the Love of God still in our hearts? Does the souls and destinies of men matter to us more than our ambitions or desires? What do we preach at our pulpits? What kind of fire is upon our altars? Do we teach the true unadulterated Word of God or have we diluted and modified IT to suit our listeners? In the large gatherings and assemblies,is the Spirit of God present? Does God know us? Do we have a name that we are alive but we are dead? Let us return to our first Love,if we have left It. Shepherds, let's remember the heights from which we are fallen and return to the ancient pathways. Has the enemy stripped us off our amour! Is the focus on God or on us? Our parishioners do not know or understand the Scriptures...all they know is us and us alone,we are their God! Immorality,gossip,slander,lies, unforgiveness, fornication, adultery,false doctrines, matchmaking,false prophecies, covetousness,greed,pride,strife, dissensions, factions,favouritism, drunkenness, competition,and many other works of darkness in our midst...let us examine ourselves and repent. There are souls...souls marching to hell because of our carelessness and disobedience.Let us turn to the Lord for mercy... let's return to our first Love...let us rise up from every compromise and lukewarmness! May the Lord not spit us out of His Mouth! May we not be replaced...may our lampstand not be removed from its place; Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. (Rev 2: 5) The world awaits our manifestation,but what are we manifesting? Are we raising spiritual giants? How is our flock? Are they ready for the coming of Christ Jesus? Are we also ready? This is a call for repentance, obedience,a deep desire for the Presence of God...we must lead the flock back to Christ Jesus...we must prepare for our soon coming King...He is coming back...He is coming back with His reward...let us strengthen what is left of us. I pray the Lord will give us the Grace and ability to yield and obey,in Christ Jesus'Name,Amen🙇🙏😭!

IN THE QUEST FOR PEACE IN AN ALREADY GOD REJECTED WORLD [2PT.3;1-18] 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 EVEN IN OUR CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS,CHRIST JESUS YET HAS AN ESTABLISHED PATTERN FOR HIS OWN (FAIR OR UGLY,NO EXCUSES) {ROM.8) 🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦 15. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Rom 8: 15-17) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Rom 8: 35) Like as I always shouted without shame,we are all DEPENDANTS on God's Grace and Mercy,in a world ruled by the devil. I'm not better than you reading this. But I do know we have one goal... ETERNAL SECURITY. In our present system in this world, I'm not a theologian,but even a child can discern the world is sick... dangerously suffering from the ill health of sin. And it has been a strain on anyone striving to live a life expected of us by our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus. And very many of us who were and are still deliberately being deceived by the forces against God's Undiluted Word, become easily dismayed when things aren't going the way we hoped. Because,we were fed with a twisted version of God's Word,by greedy shepherds who have an affinity with satan, because they are determined to occupy a world already marked and reserved for destruction by the CREATOR WHO CREATED IT. It's why you see the stiff competition among pastors,who should be custodians of God's Word. For determined Christian believers,they forget the fact that just as the devil has laid down procedures for meeting the demands of those who are impatient with God, and want the prosperity speedily, so also our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus has patiently and carefully the basic requirements for living a Christian fulfilled life as we pass through this world as our training ground, for this current world is not our destination though many of us have been led to believe it is. Some of us (especially pastors)are like the first stage of John the Baptist, before he gained understanding; 18. And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things. 19. And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 20. When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? (Luk 7: 17-23) Read the entire account. John felt it behoves Christ Jesus to free him from Herod's prison, with the entitlement mentality he was doing God's Work and deserved not to suffer. Like John,we are looking for a war general, and in our own times today,we are expecting an EXTREMELY RICH GOD to throw or stone us with money as we experience in parties. THANK GOD,JOHN LATER REALIZED HE HAS FULFILLED WHAT GOD GAVE TO HIM...HE(CHRIST JESUS) MUST INCREASE AND I MUST DECREASE. Oh my Lord God Almighty,how I wish we(especially pastors) have this awareness,THE ROT IN THE CHURCH wouldn't be so stinky; 22. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. 23. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. 24. But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. 25. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. 26. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. 27. But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28. Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. (Luk 6: 22-28) As Christians, Christ Jesus expects our attitude and character to prove it, even in this sin broken world. When we identify with Christ Jesus,we must be hated. The devil will ensure that; They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. (Joh 16: 2) Yet our joy will come in the end; 20. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. (Joh 16: 20-21) Haven't we seen nor heard of committed believers either being denied employment or set up and sacked upon refusal to compromise their Faith? That will be hypocrisy if we say we haven't heard nor seen. Listen, let's check our lives, if we're loved and adored by the world, there's an area,we are conforming and must and should be gotten rid off. The apostles, disciples and early Christians were maimed and killed because of a lifestyle that depicted as unconforming Christians. There's a common maxim ,*EVERY MAN HAS A PRICE* That shouldn't be associated with a true Christ Jesus faithful believer. BECAUSE WE KNOW WHAT THEY DON'T KNOW... AND ALSO WE ARE WILLING TO SHARE WITH THEM IF THEY LONG TO...THE TRUTH THAT EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD IS TEMPORARY, AND OUR PERMANENT JOY IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER, THOUGH IT SEEMS FAR TO OTHERS; 1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (Joh 14: 1-3) 17. Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. (Joh 14: 17-20) Gal.6;6-10 lists out what is expected of Christianity, that those truly bearing the name should never be weary of good doing. God is watching us,for you reap you will sow; And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Gal 6: 9) Christ Jesus must remain our focal point in this world, for Christians are no longer members of this world, though we dwell therein for a little while (at most 120 years(Gen.6:3). In this world, Christians are birds of passage (pilgrims) Galatians 5;19-26 sets the standard of Christ Jesus for us to make eternal security and also lists the lies and the devil's trap. Very clear! The decision is yours and mine to make... either to perish with the devil or allow him perish alone with his demons. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. (Isa 5: 14) May God help us to take the right decision, Amen 🙇🙏!

IN THE QUEST FOR PEACE IN AN ALREADY GOD REJECTED WORLD [2PT.3;1-18] 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 UNRAVELING THE APOSTATES IN OUR MIDST(PT.2) [JUDE/2PT] 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 By His Grace and Mercy, I told us that on our return, we shall be unraveling the characteristics of apostates in our midst. If we are God conscious enough,it will deliver us from their trap. PLEASE, ALWAYS BEAR IN MIND MY STANCE, I AM NOT BETTER THAN ANYONE.YOU MIGHT BE BETTER THAN ME, FOR ALL I KNOW,AND SO,WE ARE TALKING TO OURSELVES. WE ARE ALL DEPENDANTS ON GOD'S GRACE Now,there are quite a number of subtly and oftentimes really dangerous characteristics of end-time apostates in Jude and Second Peter. We don't need to go far to look for their parallels in our churches today. And indeed,very sadly enough,those we ought to be looking up to for guidance, are actually the ones promoting it....our church leaders. In fact, they are so common I don’t even need to find examples to prove my point. The reader, no doubt, will know of many of them without introduction. Okay,here we go; 👉 UNSAVED. The most profound characteristic is that these apostates are not even born again. Jude says they deny “the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ” (Jude 4). I think what I find difficult to believe is that they crept in unawares; For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (Jud 1: 4). If they crept in unawares,how long will it take a Holy Spirit controlled church to fish them out from their various departments. Peter says they are “false” prophets (1), reserved for the day of judgment (9), will “perish in their own corruption” (12), and for whom “the mist of darkness is reserved forever” (17). A hypocrite in the Bible (contrary to popular belief) is usually a lost person. He is not a true believer living poorly but is a poor unbeliever pretending to live truly, and can’t. Let's again at how Jude and Peter put it. Jude says they “crept in unawares” (4) and feast among the believers “without fear” of reprisal (12). Peter says they are “among the people” (1) and “feast with you” (13). Imagine! Like Judas, they have given some testimony of salvation and received baptism. Paul told the Galatians they were “false brethren unawares brought in” (Gal. 2:4). All of these descriptions come from words that mean to come in stealthily, falsely. But my disposition remains static... AND THAT IS, WHERE WERE THE SHEPHERDS? NO WONDER GOD IS SO WROTH WITH US,THE SHEPHERDS, FOR,WE NOT ONLY GAVE THEM ROOM,WE WERE TAUGHT OF THEM TO TAKE GOD'S INSTRUCTIONS LIGHTLY...YES, THAT'S HOW THE DEVIL CAN GO TO DESTABILIZE GOD'S WORK,...but he will always lose,and that's the good thing. But never underestimate the fury of his impending doom. He will do anything to take man down with him. WE SHALL NOT GO DOWN WITH HIM, AMEN! For example,we don’t have an “easy believeism” problem today. WHAT WE HAVE TODAY, IS A “NO BELIEVEISM PROBLEM! We may have made our mistakes in the past by promoting too many quick salvation decisions but even that was better than requiring no specific decision or experience. Today a person is received in the church with a personal angel-sighting story! And they feast among us without fear of conviction. 👉 UNGODLY Jude uses the word “ungodly” six times in this short one-chapter book, four of those times in verse 15. In verse four he simply says of these men that they are “ungodly men.” Peter compares them to the ungodly in Noah’s day and those in Sodom and Gomorrah (5-6). “Ungodly” means not to venerate, to reverence, to worship, to stand in awe, which means that such people do these things well and yet appear “pious.” I don't want to theologize, otherwise it means they do not do them at all,but yet appear godly... and that's the serpentine spirit at work . Let's hear from Paul; 13. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2Co 11: 13-15) Now ask yourself (myself) the question , is it possible to have people in our churches who do not truly worship God; who do not stand in awe of Him; and who do not show reverence to Him? The answer is a big yes. Jude says that the apostles “told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts” (18). Jude’s readers evidently knew these kinds of apostates were there and had done nothing about it. Maybe like the Corinthians (and many today), they boasted in their broad-mindedness ; Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? (1Co 5: 6) 👉 DISRESPECTFUL “Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities” (Jude 8). Peter adds that they are “presumptuous” and “self-willed” (10). Disrespect has fallen into disrepair today. In those days, however, it was a matter of utmost importance. A man could not hold church office if his children were disrespectful or disobedient (Tit. 1:6). Both Jude and Peter use Michael the archangel as the example of showing respect to authorities, even to Satan, the former Lucifer himself! (Jude 9, 2 Pet. 2:11). But, says Peter, these disrespectful church members are acting like brute beasts (12) who have no conscience of right and wrong and are destroyed without a second thought. These apostates will truly act like “animals” even in the churches. WE ALL ARE LIARS IF WE SAY WE ARE NOT SEEING THESE CHARACTERISTICS IN OUR CHURCHES. ESPECIALLY CHURCHES WITH ALIGNMENTS! 👉 LUSTFUL In both chapters under consideration, more space is given to this vice than any others. Believers who have the Restrainer living within them struggle enough with this sin, but unbelievers who have only the common graces of the world to restrain them, will fall to this sin overtly. These hypocritical apostates turn “the grace of our God into lasciviousness” (Jude 4), “defile the flesh” (8), “walk after their own ungodly lusts” (18), and are “sensual” (19). Peter says they have “pernicious ways” (2), have “eyes full of adultery” (14), and “allure through the lusts of the flesh” (18). And all of this within the local church! Peter’s statement about adultery may be translated “having eyes for an adulteress” or someone who is always looking for his next victim. Our churches have to take extra precautions because of liabilities as it is. But I wonder if the performance mentality coupled with self-centered immodesty doesn’t also feed this sin of lust. Most modesty(as in moderate dressing) is seen as old-fashioned prudishness and even in-house directives for modest dress on the church platform is seen as some kind of legalism. Then we wonder why so many of our own Christian kids have fewer moral standards than the world’s kids. This apostate characteristic will grow worse and worse as the age draws to a close. There will be more “lovers of pleasures” than “lovers of God” (2 Tim. 3:4). 👉 MAKE MERCHANDISE I think this is one of the most dangerous areas where the devil has both pastors and members trapped and chained. Stealing in the church and transacting unholy business in the Name of God. Apostates are in it for what they can get out of it. Jude says they have “men’s persons in admiration because of advantage” (16). This literally means they “admire faces for advantage.” Peter says, “through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you” (3). The words “shall make merchandise” They made God’s house into an emporium, a house of business, or a market place. Christ Jesus used this same word when He aggressively drove such moneychangers from the temple because they had made God’s house of prayer into a house of “merchandise” (Jn. 2:16). Paul told Timothy that some perverse men think that “gain is godliness” (1 Tim. 6:5) or, literally, “that godliness is a means of gain.” WHY HAS TITHING BECOME SUCH A HUGE ISSUE IN BOTH RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR CIRCLES... PERSONAL VOWS MADE TO GOD,ETC,? IT'S BECAUSE APOSTASY HAS TAKEN OVER THE CHURCH WHERE PASTORS SELECT SCRIPTURE THAT SUITS THEIR PURPOSE OF REAPING THE FLOCK, INSTEAD OF ASSISTING THEM IN THEIR SPIRITUAL AWAKENING AND GROWTH. A member of one the leading pentecostal churches in Nigeria has been attacking me since morning, just because her overseer whom I know and loved so much for over twenty years has seemingly become another person because of success. Is the success not from what he got from the flock? But how much has he sown back into the lives of the less privileged in the church? I will have to stop here tonight, because each time this matter come out,I am accused of envy and jealousy. It will yet be okay if what they got from using God's Name,they have a compassionate heart like Christ Jesus and seek out the needy among them to offer them succour. 🙏🙇!

IN THE QUEST FOR PEACE IN A GOD REJECTED WORLD (ISA.9:6) 🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦🚦 BETWEEN THE SLEEPING SHEPHERDS AND THE RAVENING WOLVES (ISA.56;10-12) 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 Whenever, I make reference to sleeping shepherds, I am talking about the genuinely called servants of God,who has deviated and abandoned God's Purpose; 10. His watchmen are blind, they are all without knowledge; they are all dogs without tongues, unable to make a sound; stretched out dreaming, loving sleep 11. Yes, the dogs are for ever looking for food; while these, the keepers of the sheep, are without wisdom: they have all gone after their pleasure, every one looking for profit; they are all the same. (Isa.56;10-11) AND NOT those that are making no attempt at concealing their intents. These ones,by their fruits have made it clear who their master is; 12. Come, they say, I will get wine, and we will take strong drink in full measure; and tomorrow will be like today, full of pleasure. (Isa 56: 12) While the former may be excused of lust and ignorance (but by no means exonerated,for God is wroth with them). The latter are boldly operating with impunity,under the tutelage of their master, the devil,WHO WILL HAVE THE WORLD BELIEVE THAT THERE'S NO HEAVEN OR HELL ANYWHERE. IN OTHER WORDS,MONEY DEFINES THEIR HEAVEN OR HELL. Indeed,ln this present age of ours,there's a fear and a deeper and far more deceptive danger lurking within our churches. From the continous reading of the book of Jude as well as 2 Peter 2, there's no believer that wouldn't be struck by the reality that in the last times there will be false prophets among the people (2 Pet. 2:1) and CERTAIN MEN CREPT in UNAWARES (Jude 4) who will do IRREPARABLE HARM to the CHURCHES. We usually call such people apostates, people who are pretenders and not real believers yet who stay among the believers and lead them astray into much unchristian belief and activity. We have known these prophecies of Jude and Peter, but the physical manifestation of them, actually pave the way that indeed for what we already guess that,in the end times we must be seeing the very fulfillment of these predictions. NOW,MY CONCERN IS THIS; DID ALL THESE PEOPLE REALLY CREEP IN UNAWARES? IF THEY DID CREPT IN UNAWARES,WHERE ARE GOD'S SHEPHERDS WHO OUGHT TO BE PROTECTING GOD'S FLOCK IN THEIR CARE? I SAY THIS BECAUSE HAD THEY NOT ABANDONED THEIR TRADITIONAL ROLE(GOD GIVEN MANDATE) OF FEEDING GOD'S FLOCK WITH THE RIGHT FOOD, IT WOULD BE MUCH EASIER TO DETECT AND FLUSH OUT THESE DEMONIC ENTITIES. 1. It is said, in fact, that there is among you a sin of the flesh, such as is not seen even among the Gentiles, that one of you has his father's wife. 2. And in place of feeling sorrow, you are pleased with yourselves, so that he who has done this thing has not been sent away from among you. (1Co 5: 1-2) 5. That this man is to be handed over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may have forgiveness in the day of the Lord Jesus. 6. This pride of yours is not good. Do you not see that a little leaven makes a change in all the mass? 7. Take away, then, the old leaven, so that you may be a new mass, even as you are without leaven. For Christ has been put to death as our Passover. (1Co 5: 5-7) Apostle Paul rebuked them for allowing them to stay, because there's no way they can't be recognized by their deeds; For even if you had ten thousand teachers in Christ, you have not more than one father: for in Christ Jesus I have given birth to you through the good news. (1Co 4: 15) For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. (1Co 4: 20) Of course, we could call this the great apostasy that will come at the end of the age. We might call this the signs of the times. But by whatever description, Scripture often says that such times will come when the end of the age of grace is near. Paul tells Timothy, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils (1 Tim. 4:1). In the second epistle he says again, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come” (2 Tim. 3:1). And again, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears” or who tickle the ears (2 Tim. 4:3). In both the book of Jude and Second Peter, these apostates come into the churches, among God’s people, therefore before the rapture of the church, and draw away the disciples after them. YET,SEEING ALL THESE SIGNS, GOD'S PASTORS WHO ARE CUSTODIANS OF GOD'S WORD, INSTEAD OF STAYING IN THE WORD OF GOD THAT HAS ALWAYS SUSTAINED THEM, THEY INSTEAD FELL WOEFULLY TO THE GREAT DECEPTION OF THE ALLURES OF A WORLD THEY THEMSELVES KNOW GOD HAS REJECTED AND RESERVED FOR DESTRUCTION BY FIRE; 12. Come, they say, I will get wine, and we will take strong drink in full measure; and tomorrow will be like today, full of pleasure. (Isa 56: 12) AND THEN THEY FORGOT THIS👇 But the present heaven and the present earth have been kept for destruction by fire, which is waiting for them on the day of the judging and destruction of evil men. (2Pe 3: 7) But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; and in that day the heavens will be rolled up with a great noise, and the substance of the earth will be changed by violent heat, and the world and everything in it will be burned up. (2Pe 3: 10) I’m certainly not a date-setter nor do I believe that anything yet has to happen before the rapture may occur, but I can still believe that these verses speak of a phenomenon that is happening in our day and age. Or I might say it this way, that even if this isn’t THE end of the age, the same things are happening now in our churches that will happen when THE end of the age comes. Either way it is not very pleasant to see the effects of apostasy on the Lord’s churches. The Lord had very stern words for the churches at Pergamos and Thyatira for allowing teachers to come in and destroy the flock like Balaam allowed Balak to “cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols and to commit fornication” (Rev. 2:14), or like Jezebel who seduced Israel to do the same (2:20). If our shoe fits the description of Jude and Peter we will have to wear it also. Jude wanted to write of the common salvation (Jude 3) but this danger is so destructive that he was led by the Holy Spirit to change his subject matter and deal with this error. He urged the believers to “earnestly contend for the faith” and not just sit by and let this cancer progress. But I wonder, at the end of the age, if we will let the disease go or if we will purge it from our bodies. Will the true believers be removed and the apostate church be left to the antichrist? Will the true church remain faithful to the end? Time will tell. By His Grace and Mercy,when we return,we will be talking of some of the characteristics of apostasy...which we are already seeing. This morning,I listened to Bishop Oyedepo asking us to be humble to learn from Christ Jesus as everyone is still learning. It was followed by his most faithful Abioye declaring at Paul Enenche's dome, apparently on invitation to LIVE PROSPERITY PREACHERS ALONE. I'm not obligated to be believed that hot tears rolled down my cheeks. I don't stand here to say I'm as good as anyone,how much more than them. After all, I literally beg to survive (a beggar) *BUT HAVING EQUAL RIGHTS AS CUSTODIANS OF GOD'S WORD,I FELT THE URGE TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE AGAIN.* Are the bishops actually humbling themselves to learn from our Lord and Savior or Christ Jesus, the rightful Owner of the WORK humbling Himself to learn from them, HIS OWN MESSENGERS. For instance, Christ Jesus NEVER for ONCE referred to His Birth nor any record of Him attending a birthday party. But on His Death,He gave specifics...DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME. The only two birthdays recorded in the Bible ended in gruesome deaths, and if you read of the practice in those ages,you will understand why. The wisest and richest human ever said; A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth. WHERE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE DOES GOD'S WORD PRIORITIZE PROSPERITY ABOVE SAVING OF LOST SOULS? The Bible guides us in distinguishing NEEDS from WANTS, urging TRUST in GOD for ESSENTIALS and CAUTIONING AGAINST GREED. It's a CALL to PRIORITIZE SPIRITUAL OVER MATERIAL WEALTH. I am of the view that till today, many (ESPECIALLY PROSPERITY PREACHERS) do not know why *Archbishop Benson Idahosa* suddenly left the scene without the fulfillment of his God given mandate. I will end that one there until required. The Bible differentiates between needs and wants by emphasizing trust in God to provide for our needs. Philippians 4:19 says, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus," encouraging reliance on God rather than pursuing excessive desires. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START OR HOW LONG THIS WILL TAKE. BECAUSE THE DEVIL HAS APPOINTED ONE OF HIS FALLEN ANGELS (DEMON CALLED MAMMON) TO USE THE LOVE OF MONEY TO DISTRACT MANY PREACHERS AND HEARERS FROM GOD'S TRUE WORD. The Bible emphasizes God’s provision for our needs and advises discernment regarding our wants. Prayer is highlighted as a means to communicate with God about our true necessities. Scriptures encourage contentment and warn against the love of money. offering biblical insights into recognizing God's hand in meeting our needs and guiding us to let go of unnecessary wants. A preacher once challenged listeners to consider what they truly need, encouraging a lifestyle that reflects BIBLICAL values of STEWARDSHIP and SIMPLICITY over CONSUMERISM and ACCUMULATION OF MATERIAL WANTS. UNDERSTANDING NEEDS AND WANTS IN BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE ! (MATT.6:19- 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 The distinction between NEEDS and WANTS is addressed in biblical texts. The Scriptures guide believers to differentiate between essential needs and less critical wants. Biblically, needs refer to essential requirements for survival and well-being, such as food, clothing, and shelter. BUT, FIRST OF ALL, WE MUST HAVE THE MINDSET THAT GOD TOOK HIS MIND AWAY FROM THIS WORLD AFTER THE GREAT FALL OF MAN. ALSO KNOW THE EARTH IS STILL GOD'S OWN, BUT THE WORLD (SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT) IS UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE DEVIL. And that God has rejected,and because He knows it would happen immediately switched over to the provisions He has made for it; And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. (Gen 3: 15) AND THIS IS WHERE MOST OF US ARE GETTING WRONG. SOME OF US THINK ALL THE PROMISES GOD MADE WERE FOR THIS WORLD THAT GOD HAS REJECTED....NO,NO AND NO AGAIN; 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2. For by it the elders obtained a good report. (Heb 11: 1-2) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (Heb 11: 13) BY THE TIME WE'RE THROUGH WITH THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEEDS AND WANTS, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THAT ABRAHAM AND THE REST SURVIVED ON*NEEDS*, NOT THE FORM OF PROSPERITY,WE HAVE MADE OUR MESSAGE AND gODs TODAY. Having said that, WANTS may include items or experiences that are desired but not essential. The Bible discerns that WANTS can lead to DISSATISFACTION and UNREST, as reflected in the Psalm of David, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). Without the need of quoting many scriptures,we saw how Abraham,had his NEEDS met and how a WANT (Ishmael) became a thorn in the flesh of the world today,as orchestrated by the devil. Or is Isaac who WANTED bush meat and Rebecca using it to put division between two twins and Jacob paying heavily for it,or Lot greedily choosing Sodom and Gomorrah. WANTS has always been a chain that the devil had continuously used in setting traps throughout the Old Testament. Imagine David and Bathsheba, Solomon's adventure into more knowledge and wisdom and more women.ALL NEEDS WERE MET,BUT THEY WANTED MORE. AND AT APPROPRIATE TIME, CHRIST CAME TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT.We shall return with more on this 🙇🙏🙏!

(JER.1:4-19,2COR.11:13-15)! 🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️🗞️ Perhaps, one of the greatest scourge that has hurt mankind and given the devil much victory, is in the fiasco he subtly but craftily introduced much in recent history, is in the prophetic ministry. For a keen observer of Christendom, it's undeniable that the activities of modern day prophets have dealt the church a devastating blow, like no other malpractice has ever done, in a very long time. And one of its greatest and successful achievements is,the seemingly breathing space it has established as a distraction to lazy Christians, who no longer see the need to study the WORD OF GOD, nor develop our prayer lives,since someone has volunteered to go the whole way as long as the pay is okay. Prophetic churches are jam-packed with fortune seeking christians during their meetings, who usually return home famished in their spirits because, instead of being fed with the WORD OF GOD, they're ENTERTAINED with various stories, and physical expressions, which often more than not leaves the hearers with more faith in what man(Satan),can do, than what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. The havoc this religious thespians have wrecked on the church can better be imagined. Many a soul, family, marriage and business, etc, has been destroyed and scattered. And their modus operandi has become so sophisticated, that it really takes God's Grace not to fall a victim; 13. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2Co 11: 13-15) Looking at the church today, it's almost like*MANY ARE CALLED, AND ALL ARE CHOSEN*! It's so so so disheartening that the true servant of God is held with derision and mockery, for in the public perception, all are both sides of the same coin. Like what is happening today in Nigeria, fishing out the genuinely called has become a Herculean task, for all have become deliverance and prophetic ministers...even those known to be committed to holiness and teaching of God's Word have weakened except at least one,in whom is yet found a great measure of respect 😢🤷! God gives a specific assignment or mandate(customized message) to every vessel HE chooses to work with. Thus, a Biblical prophet is one who hears from God, and speaks for God. That is, they are messengers who courageously communicate God's message to HIS people. They're God's servants, shepherds and watchmen, NOT GOD'S MASTERS. 13. Then spake Haggai the LORD's messenger in the LORD's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD. (Hag 1:13) Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. (Amo 3: 7)also--Jer.17:16,Isa.62:6,etc. Unlike what obtains today,their authority comes from God alone,whose messages (not their personal messages), they bear. 4. Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5. Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 6. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. (Jer 1: 4-8) BUT TODAY, IT'S THUS SAITH THE LORD..WHERE DID YOU MEET AND HEARD FROM HIM, ? IS IT THE WALLET OF THE BENEFICIARY? So, you see the prophetic ministry has been abused, and bastardized by man. it's being exploited for personal gain by man, and God isn't pleased. I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO AN ARGUMENT,BUT I CAN'T ESCAPE SAYING THE * TITLE, PROPHET* ENDED WITH JOHN THE BAPTIST. Come to think of it,prophecy wasn't really supposed to be an independent ministry again, after Christ Jesus came, whereby one is supposed to be self titled *Prophet* again! The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. (Luk 16: 16, Matt.11:13). This became so because of the outpouring of the HOLY GHOST,on Pentecost Day, upon believers, wherefore priesthood wasn't anymore a family affair nor prophecy a secluded gift. The RIPPED VEIL in the Temple was symbolic of this; And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. (Luk 23: 45) 16. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18. And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: (Act 2: 16-18) Thus, these gifts became available and a treasure to anyone who believes in Christ Jesus and HIS great work of REDEMPTION. Thus, titling one's self a prophet wasn't really necessary again, as a God called pastor is expected to manifest two or more of the FIVE LEADERSHIP GIFTS...! Howbeit, that just like some other christian beliefs that have been quite difficult to divorce from christian practice, prophecy has been grossly tainted by mundane minded church men, as the purpose has been defeated. The GENUINE and the FAKE have so muddled the whole process that there's no trust again. Thus saith the LORD, and HE didn't say anything. Very sensitive and insensitive untruths continue to emanate from these individuals, destroying marriages, families, friendships, careers and what have you. Many faint hearted christians have even lost faith. The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof? (Jer 5: 31) Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! (Eze 13: 3) They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. (Eze 13: 6) Prophets ought to serve the purpose of God, and not God serving their purpose. God's purpose for prophecy is as clear as daylight. Down through the ages,God has used and continues to use HIS true servants to express HIS Thoughts and Mind to HIS children, warning them about the future, and saving them from the present, even using the past to correct them. The main purpose of God for HIS messengers, was to bear God's Word for the aim of teaching, reproving, correcting and training in righteousness (2Tim.3:16, 1Tim.6:11)! But,this inspiring function,they have apparently shunned and abandoned today: 10. His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. 11. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. 12. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant. (Isa 56: 10-12) GOD BEING SO KIND AND TOLERANT OF ME GAVE ME THE ABOVE SCRIPTURE AS MY MANDATE.HE TAUGHT ME PERSONALLY FROM OCTOBER 1-31 AND CONFIRMED IT WITH A SIGN. HE SENT ME TO HIS SHEPHERDS AND NOT FLOCKS. BUT I YIELDED TO THE FLESH AND I AM SERVING MY CHASTISEMENT IN REVERENCE. WHAT HE HAS DONE TO THE GLORY OF HIS NAME IN SIX YEARS NOW, I COULDN'T DO THE TINIEST FRACTION IN 12 YEAR ON BOTH LEGS. We aren't called to be witch catchers, but to be a solution to our world. We aren't called to scatter homes,but to repair broken marriages and relationships. Neither are we called to be accusers of men,but to liberate them from satanic bondage. IN THE QUEST FOR PEACE IN A GOD REJECTED WORLD (ISA.9:6) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 COMPASSION WAS CHRIST JESUS' GREATEST WEAPON FOR EVANGELISM, AND SHOULD REMAIN REMAIN OURS TODAY ALSO! [PART THREE] ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ It remains so painful that being our "brother's keeper," has been reduced to the level of familiarity, race, ethnic bigotry and the rest. THE STORY OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE A REFERENCE POINT IN THIS REGARD. I believe we yet remember how we ended part two; that In Matthew 9:36, Christ Jesus wasn’t really referring to actual physical fainting; His words had a deeper meaning! He was moved with COMPASSION because these people were lost under a burdensome load of sin. Notice the sins of the world. We are surrounded by men and women who are capable of doing absolutely anything you can imagine. These depraved people need to be reached by a compassionate Christian soul-winner! NOT THE ONE WHOSE MESSAGE IS TO THREATEN THEM WITH HELL, WITHOUT FIRST SHOWING THEM THE LOVE OF CHRIST JESUS. CHRIST JESUS AND THE FOUR ELEMENTS THAT GAVE BIRTH TO HIS COMPASSION. 🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️ We discussed the first element yesterday. Christ Jesus saw a world lost in sin. 👉JESUS SAW THEIR DESTINY A. Christ Jesus knew that apart from Him, these people would be lost. No wonder He was MOVED with COMPASSION! Christ Jesus doesn’t want anyone to be lost! This brings to my remembrance the writings of Ellen G. White , In the apostasy, man alienated himself from God; earth was cut off from heaven. Across the gulf that lay between, there could be no communion. But through Christ Jesus, earth is again linked with heaven. With His own merits, Christ Jesus bridged the gulf which sin had made, so that ministering angels can hold communion with man. Christ Jesus connects fallen man in his weakness and helplessness with the Source of infinite power. But in vain are men’s dreams of progress, in vain all efforts for the uplifting of humanity, if they neglect the one Source of hope and help for the fallen race. "WITHOUT HIS GREAT COMPASSION FOR FALLEN MAN, CHRIST JESUS COULDN'T HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THE GREAT FIT OF REDEMPTION" B. Christians need the same vision! But the painful reality before our very eyes,is that we lack this compassion, even in the church that's supposed to champion it. If not by personal Faith,many would have left and indeed many have left. Prosperity seeking pastors have continued to make mockery of the less privileged in the church that their sins are responsible for their lack. What a lie from the pit of hell. Controversial as it may seems,riches isn't meant for everyone. Some of the wealthy are raised by God for His Work. But a lot of them lack the empathy to intervene even in the simplest of situations, 👉C. Look around, church! There are people all around who will die without the knowledge of Christ Jesus (Ezek. 33:8). We must share with them the vision from heaven and act accordingly. These are those who are in church but don't really know not why they are there. Many are there because of promises made to them by those who took them there without telling them how to achieve those promises by keeping God's Word, because they themselves LACK THE COMPASSION THAT MOTIVATED CHRIST JESUS. 👉 JESUS SAW THEIR DESPAIR WITHOUT A SHEPHERD A. They were without a shepherd! B. The blessings of the church and of the saved—prayer, companionship, peace, joy, rest, satisfaction, etc.—are things the lost world knows almost nothing about. C. Our duty as believers is to tell people about Jesus. Our hearts ought to be broken because the world doesn’t know our Saviour! For instance, imagine that scenario when Christ Jesus after ministering to thousands who have been with Him thirsty for the truth in Jn.6;1-14 The apostles wanted Him to send them away,JUST LIKE IN OUR CHURCH PROGRAMS TODAY, WHERE OUR PRIORITY IS HOW MUCH WAS REALIZED , but Christ Jesus would have none of it... can't send away hungry... what was that... GREAT COMPASSION ..He fed them... the result; Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. (Joh 6: 14) NOW COMPARE THAT TO THE PROGRAMS THAT TODAY THAT CHURCHES ORGANIZE WITH THOUSANDS HOPING TO REAP MILLIONS, WITH INDIFFERENCE TO HOW MANY SOULS OR NOT WERE SAVED . 👉 CHRIST JESUS SENT HIS DISCIPLES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE (MATT. 9:37, 38) Jesus places three responsibilities on the shoulders of His people: A. Visualize. See the harvest! Recognize that not everyone is saved; millions are poised on the edge of everlasting destruction! We also need to see that the harvest is ready and waiting to be gathered! We will never reap until we first enter the field (Mark 16:15). B. Agonize. “Pray ye therefore” (Matt. 9:38). This is a call to be broken and burdened over the plight of the lost. There are few broken hearts over the lost in our day! We need to attack the devil on their behalf, praying for them constantly and seeking the Lord for the souls of sinners. C. Evangelize. It isn’t enough to see the need, nor is it enough to pray for the lost and be concerned for their souls. Christ Jesus desires that each of us does the work of an evangelist (Acts 1:8). Andrew portrays the role of a burdened Christian (John 1:40-42; 6:8, 9; 12:20-22); he fulfilled the call to be a fisher of men (Matt. 4:18, 19). CONCLUSION What are you doing? Are you having any success (Prov. 11:30)? God’s plan is that His people share the good news with a dying planet. Our job is the greatest the world has ever known (Ps. 126:5, 6). Perhaps we need to come before the Lord and confess to Him that we haven’t witnessed as we should have. Time is short, the laborers are few, and the harvest is plentiful and ready. Are you doing your part? THE DEVIL AND HIS DEMONS ARE NOT RESTING...WHY SHOULD WITH A GREATER THAN THE GREATEST OF ALL POWER (THE HOLY SPIRIT) REST? (MAT.4;1-11, 1CHR.21-1 ,MAT.20:19-20) PART TWO 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I can't resist shouting it out that most of us (CUSTODIANS OF GOD'S WORD), are under the impression that, because of the WORLDLY WISE teachings we received from THEOLOGY and the earthly wisdom therein,WE NO LONGER THINK WE NEED GOD'S INPUT ON HOW WE GO ABOUT HIS WORK. And that's why the archenemy seems to be having an edge in the world today. BUT CHRIST JESUS NEVER GAVE ROOM FOR OUR OWN INPUT WHILE DOING HIS WORK. 19. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20. TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU ;and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Mat 28: 19-20) I have always said and and continue to say it that WE HAVE A RIGHT TO ACCUSE GOD OF UNFAIRNESS AND INJUSTICE IF AFTER LUCIDLY MAKING IT CLEAR THAT HE HAS REJECTED THIS PRESENT WORLD AND WILL DESTROY IT BY FIRE ACCORDING TO HIS OWN TIMELINE (2PT.3:7-14), WILL YET AGAIN ENCOURAGE US TO INVEST OUR ENTIRE LIFETIME IT THE PURSUIT OF FRIVOLITIES AND MUNDANITIES AS ENCOURAGED BY THE FATHER OF LIES(JN.8:44) THE CHRIST JESUS' EXAMPLE! 🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️ THE ENTIRE LIFETIME OF CHRIST JESUS MINISTRY, while on earth was motivated by one thing, it was a FORCE PROPELLED from HIS VERY INSIDE... AND IT'S CALLED *COMPASSION.* And that's the EXACT OPPOSITE of many of us with Big Bibles and Long Golden chains of the Cross,with skull caps on our heads. We lack genuine empathy for the souls of men, EXCEPT OF COURSE THOSE WHO ARE ENSURING THE CONTINUANCE OF THEIR FRIVOLOUS AND MUNDANE LIFESTYLES. I have a lot of physical,visual and audio evidence of these encounters,but bringing these matters up will only do more harm than good. I don't want us to be distracted and digress from our main diet. The Bible is a book filled with meaning and blessing. However, some passages are very disturbing. For instance, in Psalm 142:4, the Bible says that “no man cared for my soul.” This passage should bother us. That it looks like there are literally billions of people in our world about whom no one cares for. And saying that millions live in this world with no one to pray for them or tell them about Christ Jesus ,might not entirely be true. I SAY*MAY NOT ENTIRELY BE TRUE,* because in this our age of internet and social media, I am confident that in one way or another, they have run into the Gospel but despise it. And we have significant numbers of intercessors praying for salvation for the world . BUT, THERE'S A PROBLEM...SATAN COMES OUT WITH NEW METHODS EVERYDAY TO FRUSTRATE THE GOSPEL. Peter said; Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1Pe 5: 8) For instance, IN NIGERIA TODAY ,WE(PASTORS AND CHURCH LEADERS) ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH HOLDING PROGRAMS THAT WILL YIELD MONEY INSTEAD OF SOILS (EVERYTHING IS ABOUT PROSPERITY AND GOD KILLING OR REMOVING ANYONE OR THING THAT'S DENYING THEM THE SO-CALLED PROSPERITY) The problem here is that we're doing God's Work in our own way. We can't ever succeed. Our determination has more human elements in it than God. It's the pocket FIRST before the HEART. And the devil is taking full advantage of it to lure away many from the fold and preventing those who are to come. THE PASSION OF CHRIST JESUS! 🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️ Sadly, many Christians claim to know Christ Jesus, but do not care ENOUGH to know of HIS CONCERNS about the SOULS of the LOST. What a contrast to the Lord Christ Jesus! His passion for souls brought Him from heaven to earth and motivated His every waking activity (Luke 19:10; Mark 10:45). It was this passion for souls that propelled Him to an old rugged Cross where He gave His LIFE to save us LOST SINNERS from the deadly consequences of leaving this world in sin.(Rom. 5:8). In Matthew 9:36-38, Christ Jesus looked upon the multitudes that had gathered around Him because of His miracles. As He looked at these helpless, hopeless, hurting people, Jesus saw four elements that CAUSED HIM to be MOVED WITH COMPASSION for these LOST ONES. These same four elements ought to cause those of us who claim the Name of Christ Jesus as our guidance, to have the same heart for sinners that motivated our Saviour! CHRIST JESUS AND THE FOUR ELEMENTS THAT GAVE BIRTH TO HIS COMPASSION. 🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️ 👉 CHRIST JESUS SAW THEIR DEPARTURE FROM GOD AND THEIR DEPRAVITY IN SIN (MATT. 9:36) They were “scattered abroad” (verse 36). A. Outside the fold (no company or fellowship) B. Away from the Shepherd (no guidance or protection) C. Away from home (no comfort or rest) D. Apart from where they should have been (Eph. 2:12) HERE, PASTORS HAVE ABDICATED OUR NATURAL MANDATE OF FEEDING THE BELIEVERS THE RIGHT FOOD. INSTEAD WE GIVE THEM FOOD PASSED OVER FROM THE ENEMY, MEANT TO BOOST THEIR PERSONAL EGO, AND KEEP THEM CHAINED TO THE DEVIL; And they shall bear their punishment--the punishment of the prophet and the punishment of the inquirer shall be alike-- (Eze 14: 10) In Matthew 9:36, Christ Jesus wasn’t referring to physical fainting; His words had a deeper meaning! He was moved with COMPASSION because these people were lost under a burdensome load of sin. God willing,we will continue when we return from the short break. (MAT.4;1-11, 1CHR.21-1) 🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️🛏️ We are living in an age,era or generation where the devil seems to be winning the war against God's Word. Very few of us realize that it's actually God's Word being fulfilled. That's why getting acquainted with God's Word is a big deal and a necessity. Looking at the verses below 👇 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. (Mat 4: 3) And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. (1Ch 21: 1) In the two scriptures above, it's a apparently clear in the first one that Christ Jesus made a piecemeal out of satan,it you read it to the vs ,11. While David clearly fell for the devil in the second scripture, for he did what the devil wanted... counting the fighting power of Israel,as if it was by their power they had always sent their enemies running or conquered . Christ Jesus didn't come from the highest heaven to the lowest earth to play, but to bare all (not some) of our sins and shame,guilt and every evil we have ever committed Christ Jesus, the Son of God came down from the highest of the highest to the lowest of the lowest to become the Son of man that He can take us up to become the sons of God. He never came to condemn unless we condemn ourselves; 16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mar 16: 15-18) 👉Miracles,signs and wonders are bread for God's true children... THOSE who obey Go Ye into all the world. You can't be sitting in the church turning around in a swivel chair with your theologically acquired certificates adorning the walls of your office and expect genuine miracles to manifest. No need to quote multitudes of scriptures. IT'S AN ESTABLISHED COMMAND THAT GOD GIVES US MIRACLES TO CONFIRM HIS WORD, WHICH IN TURN WILL CONVICT THE HEART OF THE SINNERS INTO REPENTANCE AND SALVATION AND BRINGS THEM TO CHURCH TO BE TAUGHT HOW TO SERVE GOD FAITHFULLY AND MAINTAIN THEIR SALVATION . 👉But because, God's shepherds are lazy,honoring titles, they're busy pursuing miracles instead of miracles following them. Christ Jesus,our Lord and Savior never remained in one place ,He was always on the move,so also the Apostles. Even Peter who was the leader of the church was always on the move. On the move doing what, preaching the Love of God for us that MADE HIM SACRIFICE HIS ONLY BELOVETH SON TO ACQUIRE GRACE AND MERCY FOR US WHO BELIEVED; But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (Joh 1: 12) 👉 There's a heavy lot to say about our methods of winning souls to Christ Jesus today that, instead of working for us,are working against us. Quite a lot of us know this,so no need for repetition. And I am talking about people who have a genuine passion for soul winning and are actively involved in it,but seems to be yielding no or little fruits. IT'S BECAUSE WE HAVE ABANDONED THE METHODS OF OUR CHRIST JESUS AND THE EARLY DISCIPLES AND ALLOWED THE DEVIL INTO OUR MIDST IN THE NAME OF *THEOLOGY* WHOSE SOLE AIM IS FIND OUT WHOM GOD IS, INSTEAD OF FINDING OUT WHAT GOD WANTS US TO DO,AND IT'S FOUND IN THE BIBLE , GOD'S WORD; 20. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2Pe 1: 20-21) 👉 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (Joh 14: 26) 👉 Indeed, Christ Jesus through many parables and illustrations in His three and half years ministry on earth,HE SPOKE MORE ON HELL AND ITS FURY MORE THAN HEAVEN, EVEN THOUGH (DOUBTERS CONTINUE TO DOUBT), THE LORD NEVER USED HELL FIRE AS A WEAPON TO FRIGHTEN PEOPLE, BUT SPOKE AND TAUGHT ABOUT IT OUT OF LOVE. THE URGENCY IN HIS TIME IS NO DIFFERENT THAN THE URGENCY IN OUR OWN TIMES, WHERE WE SHOULD HARDEN PEOPLE'S HEART WITH THE CONSTANT THREAT OF HELL AS A WEAPON,THAT WE HAVE SEEM OFTENTIMES TO FORGET TALKING ABOUT THE INCOMPARABLE AND UNFATHOMABLE BEAUTY OF HEAVEN AND ETERNAL LIFE. When I came back after my phone's problem debacle which almost if not God's intervention sowed a negative understanding in me, for those of us who will remember,at least by going through my writings as that period, I focused my whole attention as led by Father into the reasons why the devil seems to be gaining ground more than us in the winning over of our teeming youths and other young adults. (GEN. 12:1-2) 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 Every community of people living together worldwide, all have their separate and distinct CULTURE AND CUSTOMS. Only one COMMUNITY GLOBALLY HAS A DISTINCTIVE FEATURE OF CULTURE THAT'S EASILY IDENTIFIABLE WITHOUT ANY FORM OF INTRODUCTION . That community is Christianity and the distinctive culture is*FAITH.* Many of course would debate or argue it ,but I won't, because it's my absolute belief and life. INDEED, I AM QUESTIONING MYSELF IF I AM WORTHY OF TALKING OR TEACHING ABOUT THIS, CONSIDERING MY EMOTIONAL MOMENTS WHEN IT SEEMS IT'S OVER WITH ME! YET GOD REMAINS GOD. But the truth can't be denied that we SERIOUSLY NEED THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE NOW MORE THAN EVER. Since I ran into it by His leading, (Abraham's kind of faith),I had to share with us. RADICAL FAITH isn’t a term you’ll find explicitly in Scripture, but it’s a powerful concept woven throughout the Bible’s narrative. From Abraham stepping into the unknown to David facing giants with unwavering trust, the stories of radical faith inspire and challenge us. In a world where faith often takes a backseat, the biblical accounts of those who dared to believe God wholeheartedly stand out. They didn’t just have faith; they had radical faith that changed their lives and the course of history. And if you see and feel what is happening in the world today, you will understand how these experiences of Biblical characters who FAITHED IT OUT can teach us about living a faith-filled life today. Radical faith in the Bible illustrates a profound trust in God’s plan, exemplified by figures like Abraham, who left everything behind based on God’s promise, showing complete reliance beyond human understanding. Courage to act on belief despite fear or uncertainty is a common thread among these Biblical narratives, with stories like David facing Goliath, embodying faith that defies logic and emphasizes action grounded in trust in God. Remember Genesis 22:1-2; Perhaps you’ve grown too comfortable with the idea that God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son. If we come to the story fresh it is incomprehensible. There is no category for this other than psychopathy—what would you say about someone who told you God spoke to them and told them to kill their children? Abraham didn't have the heart to tell Sarah... they're going for a routine sacrifice. But what his men? And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. (Gen 22: 5) You know why? If the men followed him, they WILL INSTEAD TIE THEIR MASTER UP THAT AN EVIL SPIRIT HAS POSSESSED HIM...trust me. 👉And then the New Testament continues to highlight examples of radical faith, such as the woman with the issue of blood, who believed in healing through merely touching Christ Jesus’ garment, (a once wealthy lady who for twelve years spent her entire fortune seeking medical help to no avail... became poor and probably smelling,but somehow knew by what she had heard about this Man, Christ Jesus,that her problem had come to an end if she could only but touch the helm of His Garment. But who will allow her, especially with her smelly frailty.. but she hung on and got her not only , but the most precious of all gifts*SALVATION* 👉And then the Roman centurion’s faith in Christ Jesus’ word alone to heal, demonstrating faith’s power to transcend societal and cultural barriers. Radical faith is characterized not just by believing in God but by taking bold actions based on that belief, shown through both Old and New Testament examples where actions, driven by faith, led to divine interventions and miracles. True faith, as showcased in these biblical accounts, is living, breathing, and actively urging believers today to not only trust in God’s promises but also to act on them, even when the path ahead seems unclear or impossible. Jumping into the Scriptures, stories of RADICAL FAITH leap off the pages. Let’s explore some remarkable examples. Abraham’s journey is iconic. Imagine just packing up, leaving everything familiar behind, based solely on God’s promise. His story in Hebrews 11:8 (NKJV) is a profound testament to radical faith: “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.” This shows a complete trust in God’s plan, beyond human understanding. Then, there’s Caleb. In Joshua 14:8 (NKJV), Caleb boldly proclaims, “But I wholly followed the Lord my God.” Even though the fear and doubt among his peers, Caleb’s faith did not waver. He stood firm, convinced of God’s promise. David, the shepherd boy turned king, had faith that defies logic. Facing Goliath, he declared in 1 Samuel 17:45 (NKJV), “I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts.” His reliance on God in the face of certain death encapsulates radical faith. Finally, but not the least is, Isaiah’s call in Isaiah 6:8 (NKJV) is a moment of radical surrender. When God asked, “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Isaiah responded, “Here am I! Send me.” His readiness to serve, without knowing the full extent of his mission, underscores a deep trust in God. Radical faith isn’t just about believing in God. It’s about acting on that belief, even when the path ahead is unclear. These Biblical figures didn’t have a roadmap or a backup plan. They had something far more powerful – TRUST IN GOD'S WORD. Abraham’s Faith in God’s Promise I’ve always been struck by Abraham’s story. The guy really took faith to another level. Imagine leaving everything you know because God told you to. That’s exactly what Abraham did. He didn’t even know where he was going. But he went anyway. That’s faith. God promised Abraham a son. And not just any son, but a son through whom nations would come. Now, Abraham was old. Really old. But he didn’t let doubt win. He believed God’s promise, no matter how impossible it seemed. “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” (Romans 4:20-21 NKJV) THAT IS THE KIND OF FAITH WE NOT ONLY WANT,BUT CLEARLY NEED AS BELIEVERS IN THESE TIMES. THE KIND THAT STICKS WITH GOD'S PROMISE, NO MATTER WHAT. 👉Moses’ Faith to Lead the Israelites is another reference point in the RADICAL FAITH COVETING. Yes, he is another giant in the faith game. The guy had a pretty comfy and quiet life with his father in law, Jethro, but then God asked him to go back to Egypt. Back to the place where he was wanted for murder. And for what? To demand the release of God’s people. Imagine the scene. Moses, standing in front of Pharaoh, with nothing but a staff. Yet, he was bold. He trusted God to deliver His people. And God did. In big, epic ways. Plagues, parting seas, you name it. “By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.” (Hebrews 11:23 NKJV) Moses’ faith didn’t just start when he was an adult. It was part of his story from the beginning, thanks to his parents’ faith. They hid him away, defying the king’s order. That’s radical faith – the kind that acts, even though fear. 👉In each of these stories, I see a pattern. FAITH IN GOD'S PROMISE LEADS TO ACTION. 👉Abraham left his home. 👉And Moses faced Pharaoh. Both actions seemed crazy. But they did it because they trusted God’s word. Their faith wasn’t just a feeling. It was living. Breathing. Active. That’s the kind of faith I’m talking about, THAT WE NEED TO CONFRONT THE DEVIL HIMSELF, WHO IS NO LONGER HIDING HIMSELF AGAIN, BUT OPERATING THROUGH MANY PASTORS WHO HAVE EXCHANGED THIER ETERNAL SECURITY FOR EXOTIC LIFE IN A WORLD ALREADY MARKED FOR ENTIRE DESTRUCTION BY GOD'S FURY, OPERATING THROUGH SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS IN PRODUCING WONDERS TO LURE GOD'S CHILDREN FROM THE ANCIENT PATH OF HOLINESS... THROUGH THE INTERNET, SOCIAL MEDIA IN PARTICULAR WHERE YOU SEE THEOLOGY PROFESSORS DEBATING WHAT'S RIGHT OR WRONG, TRYING TO EXERT INTELLECTUAL SUPERIORITY, AND IN THE PROCESS DISTRACTING MANY A MAN FROM WHAT TO BELIEVE. WITH RADICAL FAITH WE CAN TAKE OVER THE SOCIAL MEDIA FROM LUCIFERS HATCHET MEN. With the stories of true faith, that jump at our face from the Scriptures,even the seemingly impossible becomes possible. What does it mean to be radical in the Bible? In Biblical terms, being RADICAL involves seeking a profound relationship with the Lord, obeying His directives, assuming the authority given by Christ Jesus, and prioritizing spiritual growth and devotion above all else. Does trust only mean to have faith in God? No, trust is a broader concept that plays a vital role in relationships, encompassing faith in God as well as confidence in people and circumstances. Faith and trust intertwine, especially in spiritual contexts. Radical faith manifests as perseverance regardless of emotions. It transcends mood or feelings, focusing on steadfastly doing what is right according to faith, even when it doesn’t align with one’s immediate desires or sentiments. MY VERY DEAR BRETHREN, IT'S THIS KIND OF FAITH WE SHOULD SEEK FOR , AND HOLD UNTO, IF WE MUST DISMANTLE LUCIFER'S NETWORK. IT'S NOT AS IF, WE CAN GET EVERYONE ON OUR SIDE(GOD'S KINGDOM), BUT WE MUST MAKE A DESPERATE EFFORT TO DEPOPULATE THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS. Actually, God doesn't want any of us to perish with the world. Hence, He has been tolerant giving us time for those of us who haven't repented to repent; The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2Pe 3: 9) And those saved to go all out to the unsaved and make them realize what awaits them. AND IT'S ONLY THIS RADICAL FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS THAT FIRSTLY, SAVE US FROM THE WORLDLY TRAPS OF SATAN, AND SECONDLY, GO ALL OUT IN A BATTLE MOOD(COMPASSION REALLY) FOR THOSE YET UNDER THE ENEMY'S DECEPTION. (PART TWO) 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 A truly genuine God called shepherd should be crying in his heart of hearts,over the decay in the system today... church,politics, religion, various forms of both cruel and humiliating insecurity, and every other unprintable evils pervading the world. Though we can't stop God's Word from coming to pass,we can yet prepare and protect it through The Same God's Word. BUT SADLY AND PAINFULLY , THE OPPOSITE IS THE CASE,AS THE CRAZE FOR TITLES,FAME AND WEALTH HAS MADE THEM TO FORGET THE WORDS OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR CHRIST JESUS; 22. Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, "Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?" 23. Jesus answered him, "If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. (Joh 14: 22-23) Now, because those who ought to know are now engrossed in the race for the mundane things of the world,many are confused on what to believe,while others are following in the footsteps of their * idol* It's now what our Pastor or bishop said,but NEVER God said. From there, satan has an opening and space to feed the confused hearts with the deceptive already long prophesied knowledge increment,such as Theology(man using his sin infested wisdom to seek for a God Whom has already revealed what He wants us to know about Him at our current human level in His Word); The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. (Deu 29: 29) Then followed the wonders of science and technology/engineering,etc. NOW, MY QUESTION TO OUR *HUNGRY FOR FAME , INFLUENCE,MORE KNOWLEDGE, CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY AND LARGE CONGREGATIONS SEEKING PASTORS* is, how are they preparing God's Flock with the devil on the rampage.Peter warns us; Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1Pe 5: 8) Despite the obvious signs, we are allowing the devil excessive room to send us on a wild goose chase; The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. (Deu 29: 29) Seeking to distort and scatter GOD'S AGENDA, which * unfortunately and frustratingly to him, is HUGELY,OURIGHTHLY AND ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE. And we forgot that God didn't call,save and reveal His Plans for us to directly or indirectly team up with satan. This is the time to do everything possible at anytime, anything, anywhere for Christ Jesus because He is over worthy of our absolute Loyalty to Him,if we truly realise and appreciate the awesomeness of the sacrifice He made for us. CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF TOLD US HIMSELF THE GREATEST DANGER OF THE END TIMES IS THAT OF PREVAILING SPIRITUAL DECEPTION. Deception is the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid. We live in an information age. We all know Dr Google has changed our lives in many good ways, but it has also served up false news, and with it deception. It's an invaluable tool in the hands of the devil,but if we are really ready to sacrifice, IT CAN EVEN AND SHOULD BE A MORE VALUABLE TOOL IN OUR HANDS TO SILENCE THE DEVIL; And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Rom 8: 28) And now do not be distressed, or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here; for GOD SENT ME BEFORE YOU TO PRESERVE LIFE. (Gen 45: 5) Christ Jesus warns of false teachers and prophets leading even believers astray. False doctrine is dangerous and cannot be taken lightly. God’s Word tells us that doctrine affects our eternal salvation and those who hear us. 1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. But the MAJOR PAIN HERE, is that those who are supposed to feed the flock with the right food,are even the ones that are feeding them the wrong food. But why? That's a reasonable question, and here is the answer. The devil in his craftiness has pushed into the church of God,a great population of THE MIXED MULTITUDE, the very replica of the ones that followed the Israelites out of Egypt that consistently were a thorn in Moses' flesh. They led Aaron into making a golden calf. Remember,they were rich before and in the absence of what they were used to, always raise the cry for a return to Egypt. Such a MIXED MULTITUDE occupies a greater majority of our gatherings today, and guess what? They're usually the richest in the congregation,sponsoring heavy projects,highest donors in every need, occupies the highest positions. PITIABLY, BUT REDEEMABLE, WE NOW HAVE AT OUR PULPITS THOSE WHO PAMPERED TO THE WHIMS AND CAPRICES OF THIS MIXED MULTITUDE. HE WHO PAYS THE PIPER DICTATES THE TUNE. This is the reason why the UNDILUTED WORD OF GOD is disappearing gradually from our pulpits...Most of them whom we looked up to for holiness and salvation messages have tasted of the *FORBIDDEN FRUIT* and thus deviated. They crave personal jets,mansions,wonders on wheels, competition in whose auditoriums(Not God's again) is bigger and more beautiful. They lust for royal yatches where they can go on vacation with. And without this MIXED MULTITUDE,who MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE INITIATED INTO SORCERY AND OCCULTISM have long forgotten their God given mandate and wallowing in the temporal euphoria of what they once preached against by God's unction. BUT THE TIME TO CHANGE THE NARRATIVE IS NOW,NOT TOMORROW...HOW WILL CHRIST JESUS RATE US WHEN WE FAIL IN THE RESPONSIBILITY HE HANDED OVER TO US! It will take courage to challenge the current Church culture. End-time leaders must maintain an intimate personal relationship with the Father through personal devotion and prayer, focusing on the written WORD and GUARDING their HEARTS AGAINST ALL EVIL INFLUENCE. It's something we must do if we were genuinely called and missed. WE YET HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO AMEND OUR WAYS. We cannot lead others to a place we have not been. So, the first order of business is to take an honest self-assessment and ask some pointed questions. Do I function in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit? Does my team? If not, what are we doing to rectify this problem? Are we crying out to God in prayer for the correction and instruction needed to facilitate change? Are we earnestly contending for the faith that was once delivered to the Saints? (Jude 3) If so, are we seeing measurable progress in this area? THE UNMISTAKABLE POWER and DEMONSTRATION of the HOLY SPIRIT MUST AGAIN BECOME VITALLY IMPORTANT TO THE CHURCH. Not the easily identifiable sorcery, occultic and magic prevalent in many shrines today(for I call them churches), where a supposed prophet will raise a leg and everyone starts falling on one another or turn around and every one falls on the ground. THE HOLY SPIRIT DOESN'T SHOW OFF, NEITHER DOES HE NEED TO ENTERTAIN BEFORE DOING THAT WHICH ONLY HE ALONE CAN DO. But then Apostle Peter has a word for us; 3. Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4. And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (2Pe 3: 3-4) 8. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2Pe 3: 8-9) And that's the deception that has enveloped our generation...all things continues as normal, especially with the devil inspired pursuit of needless knowledge as prophesied as of old,(all craftily aimed at distraction of men from their Creator). IT'S THE REASON FOR THE QUESTION ABOVE AS SHEPHERDS OF GOD, IRRESPECTIVE OF THE TITLES WE PARADE. THE TITLES ENDS HERE ON EARTH...NO CROWNS FOR THEM IN ETERNITY... AND WHEN NOT HANDLED PROPERLY CAN EVEN DENY US ETERNAL LIFE. What should Christians be doing to get ready for the cataclysmic events preceding the end of the Age and the Second Coming of Christ Jesus ? Given the current state of affairs in the world, it's hard to avoid the conclusion that the Lord may be returning soon. Most of us are trying to hold on to our confidence in God and live by faith, but some of our friends and relatives tell us that's not enough. Are we really supposed to run and hide as things get worse? Or should we stay where we are and continue to minister to the people around us? Admittedly, and to be fair, the description above apply to a tiny percentage of misinformed people. For instance, the Meta group owner who is an atheist. BUT WHAT OF US WHO ARE WELL INFORMED AND HAVE AN ALMIGHTY GOD WHO HAS MADE EVERY NEEDED PREPARATION FOR OUR SAFETY, EVEN BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD? The Bible clearly instructs us to be vigilant. But it also teaches that no one can say for certain that we are living in the “end times.” This is at best a debatable proposition. Christ Jesus Himself repeatedly said that no one knows or can know the day or hour of His return (Matthew 24:36; Mark 13:32; Acts 1:7). To be sure, we are surrounded by events and developments that could be interpreted as signs of the end. On every land we see famines, earthquakes, disasters, troubles, persecutions, wars and rumors of wars (Mark 13:7-9). But has there ever been a period in the history of the world when this was not the case? Can you imagine what it was like to be a believer in Rome under the emperor Caligula, or Nero, or Domitian? To face the arena, the stake, or the lion’s den for your faith? What do you suppose Christians were thinking when the legions captured Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple in A.D. 70? Or when Attila overran Europe in the 5th century, the Vikings in the 9th, Genghis Khan in the 13th, or the Muslim Turks in the 16th? Might anyone have concluded that the end was near when the Black Death decimated Christendom, wiping out entire towns and claiming more than 25 million lives between 1347 and 1352? How did the situation look to believers at the beginning of the last century, when the so-called Great War destroyed the flower of an entire generation (37 million casualties)? Or a few decades later, when the shadow of Hitler and the Third Reich was rising over Germany and Eastern Europe? Clearly, the early 21st century has no monopoly on death, disaster, devastation, and terror. You don’t need to know a great deal about history to realize this. But let’s assume for a moment that these are the end times. What then? How should a Christian respond? Fortunately, the apostle Peter gives us a straightforward answer to this question. Writing specifically with reference to the end of the age, when “the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, [and] both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up,” Peter does not suggest that believers head for the hills, adopt a “fortress mentality,” and start stockpiling food and weapons. INSTEAD, HE SIMPLY ASKS, “Since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?” (II Peter 3:10-12). As Peter sees it, end-time Christians are called to do one thing: they are to practice holiness and do good to others wherever and whenever they can. They are supposed to work the works of God “while it is day” (John 9:4). Paul seems to have been thinking the same way when he wrote to the Galatians, “Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10). Or it might just be the repressive effects of my current travails. TRUTHFULLY, I THINK I SHOULD BE GLAD, GLAD THAT IT MAY FINALLY BE OVER. BUT I'M NOT...WILL I BE REJOICING OR WAILING...AM I TRULY CERTAIN I AM READY? Because of our hidden ulterior motives,we(pastors), have been leading God's children in our care,not only amiss but astray. We prey on their vulnerability to twist them round our fingers. GOD ISN'T SMILING,HE ISN'T FINDING IT FUNNY. People like to be controlled! People want to be controlled! Simply put, because deep down many Christians want a pastor who tells them; * what is right or wrong * what God wants or doesn’t want * what they should or shouldn’t do with their life In 1 Samuel 8 the people of Israel demanded that Samuel give them a king. Samuel goes on to explain to the people that a king will control them, abuse them, and use their lives to further his own. And yet, surprisingly they replied, “We still want a king...*THIS IS THE VULNERABILITY THAT PASTORS PREY ON...TAKE UNDUE ADVANTAGE OF,TO ACHIEVE THEIR ULTERIOR MOTIVES.* There are quite some Senior Pastors and church leaders who model Christ Jesus' example of servant- leadership (Matt. 20: 25-26)… but there are still far too many who “lord over” their congregations. Let's begin by saying that there are many things THAT GOD IS NOT, THAT PASTORS MAKE MEMBERS BELIEVE HE IS. Yes,people believe certain things about God because that’s what they’ve always been told...or because they want them to be true. But eventually, plodding through the mud of life, they discover the truth: life is hard, and not everything is as it seemed.And then their faith crumble,being laid on a faulty foundation. For instance; God isn't a Father Christmas.. You don’t get put on a nice list for doing the right things and, in turn, get whatever your heart desires from God. Whenever we feel entitled to a reward, or to “what we deserve”, we cease to view God as God (our King) and begin to view Him as our Father Christmas. We then harbour mixed emotions,when the Father Xmas part refuse to materialize. Again, you Won't Always Be healed; There is so much good in praying for healing--healing for others and healing for ourselves. And while it's true that God is able to heal, HE IS NOT OBLIGATED TO. Think about it: if God were obligated to heal and answer every prayer of healing, no one would ever die. The hard truth is that at some point, this life will end. But that’s not the end of the story. There is hope. Our great hope is not that we won't experience death, but that death is not the end of life--it's the beginning. Also, You Won't Always Be "Blessed" When someone says they’re “blessed,”the usual fleshly connotation is that they that they're doing well financially. The implicit suggestion is that they're “blessed” because those things have happened. Conversely, if those things weren’t true, they would not be “blessed.” There's more to blessings than finance. For instance,even though on one leg and in constant pain, I'm blessed to be alive, because there are millions of the wealthy in the hospital now,whose wealth couldn't offer comfort,and wish to be where I am now...not in the hospital,legs not hung up, not feeding through tubes,or living on artificial oxygen. PLEASE, DON'T GET ME WRONG, I'M NOT HAPPY FOR THEIR SITUATION. I am only saying that before they got to that position,they saw themselves as highly blessed,but seemed to be curse. Yet,I tell you, they're still blessed, because those of them who are unsaved yet have the opportunity to be saved . THAT'S THE REASON FOR HOSPITAL EVANGELISM! Though there was a time that “blessing” and “wealth” and “good-living” were tied together, we have a lesson from Christ Jesus,over 2000 years ago; “Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on My account." (Matt. 5:11,) Or when His cousin asked for Him to save his life, and He didn’t. But instead sent word in Matthew 11: “Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news brought to them. And blessed is anyone who takes no offense at me.” Moreover, the Church Isn't about you nor me It’s so easy for church to become a country club. It's NOT about what we want...our preferences...our comforts. It's NOT our little world that we control, and we determine who gets in and who stays out. The hard truth is that church isn’t about us and our holy huddles. It's about seeking and healing the lost. The church should be a refugee camp for the lost and hurting. A place hurting people are brought in to be made well, and then sent out to bring others who are hurting back in. We weren’t brought in to simply socialize. Today,the CHURCH HAS MORE ASSOCIATIONS THAN THE SECULAR WORLD. It's also true that God isn't obligated to always answer our whims and caprices e.g, The time when Christ Jesus was in the grave, His disciples were scared out of their minds, and they all thought they had wasted the last three years of their lives backing the wrong messiah. Sometimes God is going to be silent. It doesn’t mean that you aren’t “Christian enough” or that you are somehow “broken.” It means God is being silent. And the hard truth is that silence is OK. But today,we(pastors) encourage people on a wrong note, spinning and weaving SOME 3 OR 7 KEYS TO SUCCESS OR BREAKTHROUGH...all in a bid to LINE OUR POCKETS. WE GIVE THEM FALSE HOPES TO CAGE THEM. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. (Isa 56: 11) Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. (Eze 34: 3) Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. (Mic 3: 3) We should get one thing clear: there’s no guarantee to happiness, success, a great prayer life, or anything else. The BIBLE DOESN'T OFFER “A GOOD/EFFICIENT/SUCCESSFUL/RICH LIFE”, BUT INSTEAD,“A NEW LIFE.” And the hard truth is that that "new life" might look different than what we expect. We might do everything the Scriptures say and have a failed business,or be poor (which is no sin,like most of us pastors make it looks like), struggle with depression, and/or not become the “next big thing.” What Scripture does say is God will not leave us as orphans (John 14:18). That whatever we have to go through in life, we won’t have to go through it alone. That’s the kind of guarantee we can count on. Conclusively,as pastors, no matter what reasons we have for not telling our people the hard truths -- the end is the same: we’re lying to them. They’re going to find out eventually. The question is this: Do you want to tell them the hard truth? Or do you want them to be blindsided by it,for your selfish interests? Let's think about this...Amen🙏🙇🙏!
